Its beautiful church but the sound system is not good. We are senior citizens with hearing problems and we would appreciate if the volume of the sound system is a little loud enough for us to hear the homily and participate in the prayers. We usually sit near the restroom because my husband has to go the restroom almost every 30 minutes because of health conditions. we could hardly hear anything. thanks.

Opener of the Way

I found this church to be difficult to understand. The placement of the Tabernacle with the eucharist far away from the main altar and near an exit door is very odd and wrong. The priest turns his back on God and faces the parishioners. The offered sacrifice was not acceptable to God.

I used to go here all if the time, but I tend to find that some of the church goers like to judge others too much. Long story short., Everyone was kissing Jesus's statues feet, well me and my husband think that that is pretty gross, so we kissed out fingers instead and placed it on his feet afterwards instead of being like everyone else and placing our actually lips onto his feet. Well the other church people thought that was quite arrogant of us and started to snicker and us and look at us of though we thought that we were too good.

I'm a part of this parish. I love it. Go every Sunday. Confessions are held twice weekly. Father Alberto and Father Michael are my two favorites since Father William left. I usually got to service at 7:30 p.m. Sundays about. Arrive 10 mins early if you want good seat selection. It gets about 80% full and isn't as hot as going midday.

I didn't attend the beautiful Christening but attended St. Christopher many years ago. I taught CCD classes (did I say a long time ago?) and it was a beautiful experience. The church is simply wonderful and the congregation warm and welcoming.

I attend mass here every Sunday, my daughter goes to catechism on Saturday mornings. They have several mass times; English masses: Sundays 8:30am and 10:30am Spanish masses: Sundays 6:30am, 12:30am, 2:30pm, 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Very friendly staff.
