Let me start this off by saying I hate doctors. Hadn't been to one in 20 years til I screwed my back up, and even then waited two months in pain before going. Pain was horrible one day and I caved, looked into who could help, and called Dr. Matt. Called late in the afternoon, they got me in the next day. Dr. Matt listened, walked through what we were going to do, timelines I could expect, etc. Turns out my back was really screwed up, had to go for a x-ray, MRI, epidurals, the whole nine yards. Dr. Matt kept me going. He worked out my back so I could start living a normal life, listened to me when things weren't working, found other options to help improve my situation. Showed frustration and concern when I had setbacks, and doubled down on his efforts. Worked with me when insurance was cutting off my visits. It's 11 months since I hurt my back, and due to the degree I did things will never be normal, but I am back to living my life daily, to walking with minimal discomfort if any, and being able to lift things (at a lesser weight than before). Dr. Matt isn't just a doctor. Dr. Matt is an amazing caring man, who will do everything he can to help you, and someone I am proud to call a friend.

The whole office is amazing. I have been a patient for years from car accidents to just wellness visits. Dr. Matt and Dr.Chris truly listen to your concerns even when it’s related to your general health and not just related to your spine. Where do I start? Hmmm October 2021 I injured my left hip doing my max leg press and have been down hill since. It took about 3 months for me to finally cave and say this hurts beyond my normal tolerance and I finally started getting treatment. The big difference was Dr. Matt listened. In less than 5 min he was able to tell me there was a pelvic shift ( slight) which may be why this hip got no better. For years I’ve thought there was a slight discrepancy but he followed up by ordering a scanogram (fancy X-ray) and gave me a (multiple really) 😫shoe inserts which helped to correct the .5cm limb length discrepancy. The pain gradually improved and I thought I was out of the flames until about 1 month ago the outside of my thigh felt like someone stabbed me and set it on fire (it has been progressively getting worst for past 5-6 months🥵). I explained this to Dr. Matt and he once again listened with his new college Dr. Chris and did the most horrible rub I’ve ever felt in my life (keep reading). The pain was enough to make a grown man cry or pass out. In doing this maneuver 3 times while explaining the science behind it I understood. What I didn’t expect was after the horrendous pain inflicted with the treatment….The lack of pain that followed. I was able to touch my left thigh without feeling the discomfort and pain that I’ve bare with for months (looking back it’s been months) but got so bad I started shifting my weight while sitting or driving to my right hip or buttock. I honestly almost cried. To anyone reading this who is suffering in pain. There’s another option. Give it a try and give yourself time to heal. 😃

Even though I have been working for Dr. Matt for many years, I've had extreme back problems my entire life and he's the only one that has helped me. Multiple doctors have brushed off my symptoms saying it was only muscle spasms when in fact I have multiple conditions throughout my spine. Dr. Matt was the only doctor that properly diagnosed me and gave me advice and exercises as well as treatment so my chronic pain is more tolerable. I have been going to this practice for several years now. I had a neck issue that was fairly bad when I started treatment. I can’t imagine where I would be without Dr. Matt’s care and treatment and that of his staff. My neck issue is almost non-existent, and when it does get aggravated, Dr. Matt’s treatment always helps plus I follow the tips he gives me for self-care at home. I have minor back issues that are kept at bay through regular maintenance. I highly recommend this practice! Maintenance is the key after your initial treatment plan - Dr. Matt is amazing!

I've been going to Matt McIrath for some seven or eight years now and he has done wonders. I am not cured, but at the age of 72 my back is better than it was when I was 22. His approach involves a combination of manipulation, other treatment,exercise, health and it works. He does not use a one-size-fits-all treatment. He doesn't even use the same treatment every time on just me. Each time he tailors what he does to the problems that he detects. He thinks, he discusses, he educates.
