A fusion of my neck was offered, which I wanted to avoid at all cost. Dr. Barrett has made my pain almost nonexistent with his treatment! I feel so much better! I can’t even begin to say how thankful I am! Dr. Barrett is wonderful; very attentive, professional and caring. Dr Andrea and Dr Derek are two amazing people. They take the time to listen and assist so differently than any other chiropractors office.The relaxing atmosphere and my personal favorite resting in the anti-gravity chairs helps reduce the stress from the day. Personally I had an injury from the gym and suggestions from a PT initially were to get consults from two types of surgeons for my neck and shoulder injury/pain. I had a second opinion by another PT who thought we could try a holistic approach before jumping to something so invasive. Between her approach to my therapy and the excellent research and info Dr. Andrea shared from the xrays they took at my consult, I chose to have Barrett Chiropractic help me work thru the issues resulting from that injury. The upper cervical approach helped me so much I’ve returned fully to my normal routine at the gym and enjoy weight lifting and a variety of other workouts completely pain free. The care and treatment I have received at Barrett Chiropractic is outstanding. The doctors and staff are friendly and caring, and have been very accommodating to my changing schedule. They use technology I've never found anywhere else and I love that I got x-rays before and after each round of treatment so that I could visually see the improvements in my cervical spine alignment, not just feel them. I also love the relaxing rest periods in the cervical chairs before and/or after each adjustment. The doctors are knowledgeable in their modality of healing, and took time to explain and make sure I understood the methods and treatment and how I can contribute to the healing when I'm not in their office. I have been a regular chiropractic care patient for 15 years, visiting my old doctor on a weekly basis. In the beginning, I felt so much better. I highly recommend Barrett Chiropractic! I’m 63 and never been to a chiropractor in my life. But, after a two month episode of dizziness that wasn’t going away with medicine and head exercises I saw a news brief from Barrett Chiropractic about how upper cervical care could help persons with dizziness. So, in some desperation, I decided to try Barrett Chiropractic. From the moment I walked in the door I was warmly greeted and my concerns were taken seriously. Barrett Chiropractic is more than you could ever expect for chiropractic care. Their upper cervical special focus is not only uncontested in Wichita, the only upper cervical care around, but Dr. Derrick and Dr. Andrea's spinal knowledge and over all intellectual capability is unmatched. I work a job of hard labor and when I came in to their facility I was met with smiling faces and never once felt out of place. Furthermore their care has not only improved my quality of life dramatically, and for me most immportantly, gave me the energy on a day to day I can only remember glimpses of from my days in highschool. My life quality and my productivity have continually increased since my start of care a little over a year ago, and I will deffinitley be a life long patient of theirs.
