I started seeing Dr. Noya for migraine relief after the birth of my son 4 years ago. The number of migraines I get over the course of a year has significantly decreased under his care. There are so many other aspects of my health that have also improved, things I didn't realize could be helped with chiropractic care. The office staff at Noya Chiropractic are very friendly, easy to talk to, and very helpful. Dr. Anthony Noya is gentle and compassionate. I highly recommend Noya Chiropractic to anyone seeking chiropractic care.

i am so grateful for Dr Noya .I gave birth to my second baby on 2020 and ever since that birth i have been struggling with tail bone pain .And when i got pregnant with my 3 rd things got worse specially when i got my 3rd trimester it got harder to walk ,sleep or basically do anything.and my doula suggested Dr noya .i went there and on my first visit i got my adjustment and my pain went from 9 to 2 immediately.Don’t know how i would handle this pregnancy if i didn’t get the adjustment from him 😭. I usually don’t do reviews but going to Noya Chiropractor has been such a great experience, I was compelled to share my thoughts .A friend recommended Dr Noya because of numbness in my foot. I have never been comfortable going to chiropractors and I usually quit after a couple visits. From the start , I felt very comfortable with Dr Noya. He takes time to explain treatment options and thoroughly answers questions . I had been seeing a neurologist for this issue for over a year . I went through a series of tests and MRIs and was then basically told “ learn to live with it” After a few months of seeing Dr Noya, I started having feeling again. It’s not 100% but is a huge improvement especially since I wanted to be able to keep running . He has also helped with neck pain I sometimes get after running and just my overall well being . I must add that a doctor is only as good as his support staff . Jeanette and Diego are always friendly and accommodating with scheduling. They keep the office running like a well oiled machine .

UPDATE: just had my second baby as a Noya client. After 36 hours of labor earlier this week which stalled out completely and left me in excruciating disc and pelvic pain, I went to see Dr Noya on Thursday afternoon. He made an adjustment to my pelvis and I literally went into labor in the car on the way home. Baby was born 12 hours later! Three cheers for Dr. Noya! Dr Noya and his team are fabulous. Initially, I met him while I was pregnant and desperately in need of some prenatal chiropractic care. He was wonderful. Since the birth of my child, I’ve been working with him on some long-standing spinal issues and have made pretty incredible progress in a relatively short time. The doctor and his staff are lovely—super kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

I have seen three chiropractors in my life - the first one once at an out-of-town retreat when I misaligned my hip, who introduced me to this wonderful form of treatment; the second one in the greater DC area to whom I went to for a few weeks for a crick in my neck; and finally Dr. Noya, to whom I have been going for over twelve years, during periods when I have trouble with my back or neck, or feel that my general health can benefit from adjustments and just want to feel better in general. I was recommended to Dr Noya by a friend. I was a bit apprehensive since past experiences with Chiropractic treatment didn’t meet my expectations— found the treatment too rough and seemingly a one size fits all approach. However, since I was in a great deal of pain I decided to give it a try. My impression of Dr Noya is that he is knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate and very willing to answer my myriad of questions. Also, he preferred the approach of trying just a few adjustments and see how I reacted.. then adjust according to my feedback. This approach worked for me. Prior to starting he wanted me to get an x-ray of my spine and took time to explain his proposed plan of action. After three or four adjustments my pain greatly lessened. He introduced me to hydro massage treatment in his office as well as excercise which helped me ease into that day’s adjustments. Now I am a believer!! I’ve been seeing Dr. Noya just under 2 months and I couldn’t recommend him more. I came to see him when I was almost 6 months pregnant suffering from pretty miserable back/sciatic pain. I've had this pain with each of my pregnancies but this time was the worst. The care he’s provided has literally changed my life (and I don't say that to be dramatic). Prior to seeing him, I could only walk about a 1 miles worth of steps a day before the pain flared up and I'd have to sit down. I started going to Dr. Noya in 2014 when I was 34 weeks pregnant with my first son who was breech. I was actually a little too late to turn him (and he came a little early) but I think the recovery after he was born went much more smoothly because of the care I received from Dr. Noya. I kept going and found that almost constant recurring pain I had in my shoulder and neck disappeared. Where before I could count on a muscle spasm tensing up my neck and shoulders 2-3 times per year, making it difficult to move it, I now only intermittently get pain in my neck and shoulders and it is much less intense and goes away faster. I had tried physical therapy and kept up with the exercises but receiving chiropractic care is what really helped. I also learned a lot about the wellness benefits of regular adjustments. Update: I finished my 3 months of treatment and unfortunately my initial problem with my left leg wasn't resolved ( it began during and after my second pregnancy) it was improved but the pain was there. I travelled overseas for more than 2 months to visit my family in Belgium and Morocco and I did 2 sessions of osteopathy, one in Casablanca and the second in Brussels and it incredibly helped me to resolve it and to move my left leg easily. The chiropractic care was a nice discovery with the team of Dr. Noya but the ostheopaty still the better and the quickest option for my problems. I didn't try osteopathy in USA ( in Washington DC areas where I live) because it's more expensive than chiropractic. In Belgium and in Morocco it's very affordable and both the osteopaths who I saw doesn't ask me to return for a second or a third time. They told me if the problem return, I can come to see them again. Thanks again for the team of Dr. Noya for trying to help me.

I started seeing Dr. Noya at 32 weeks pregnant with painful sciatica, lower back pain, and some upper back pain. Walking and working out was painful, and it was hard to get comfortable at night. I saw him throughout my recent pregnancy and I had a wonderful, easy homebirth which I’m sure was positively impacted by his care. She had always been a great baby but her struggle was calming down to sleep, and sleeping long stretches. We brought her in to get adjusted. The first time, she took an amazing nap but I didn’t connect it. The second time, another amazing nap. Dr. Noya has helped me through two fairly serious back injuries over the last many years. I have noted a few areas of excellence that make him a real treasure to our community: 1. Without question is Dr. Noya’s “bed side manners” and compassion. Here is a doctor that listens. That cares, and who takes the time. I never feel like I’m a number. 2. His care is effective, and through it I have avoided surgeries. Most primary care physicians will prescribe drugs, costly scans, and usually push you towards surgery. I don’t like that, and you don’t find it here. Within a short period of time under Dr. Noya’s care I was even able to cut my ibuprofen dosage to zero. 3. His facilities are clean, comfortable, and there is always street parking available (usually free!) within less than 2 blocks. With a potential drop off In the front. There is just one step into the building, and no stairs. 4. His staff is polite, courteous, caring...and they don’t shy away from human interaction and force you to go to some website to schedule an appointment! (unless you want to). Honestly, I should put this one higher.

I’m convinced Dr. Noya’s quality care saved my pregnancy. At 25 weeks, I experienced severe pelvic, lower back, and leg pain after a routine workout. I could barely walk, get in and out of the car, or sit or lay down for extended periods of time. All of these symptoms took a toll on my health. I attempted care with three different specialists with minimal relief and dead end treatment plans stating, “we have to wait for the baby to arrive” while I was thinking “I don’t know if this baby will make it if I can’t make it”. As a last resort, I made a same-day appointment with Dr. Noya in hopes that his techniques and prenatal care could provide some relief. First, Dr. Noya provided one hour to assess my posture, movement, and symptoms in detail—triple the amount of time I had spent with any other provider so far. He listened and also made sure I understood his type of care so that expectations of treatment were clear. After the comprehensive assessment, he made an adjustment which resolved my pelvic pain immediately. I was stunned. I could bend over, lift my knees up and walk without shooting pain before I left the office. I almost cried from the relief but I was too self-conscious about being the stereotypical pregnant woman. I went to Dr Noya primarily for an impinged shoulder. What I learned from him about my body was that a lot of other things - things that I had learned to accept as "normal" for my body - were all related to the health of my spine/pelvis and ultimately contributing to this impingement. I’m a 73 year old woman and have had chiropractic treatments for headaches and back pain since adolescence. My daughter recommended Dr. Noya after he helped her recover correct alignment after the difficult delivery of my grandson. I rate Dr. Noya tops for several reasons. • He starts with an x-ray which he consults with every adjustment. • He uses the Golinsky method which utilizes a device he slowly swiped down the spine to detect areas of inflammation. I think the Golinsky method is the most thorough way to measure spinal problems and it is rare these days for chiropractors to take this extra step. • For certain treatments he offers a heated, vibration bed to relax the spine, preparing it for adjustments. • For patients in his long term treatment program he offers an exercise room with protocols that warm up the spine, increasing its flexibility and preparing it for adjustments. To me it is like getting physical therapy along with adjustments. I enrolled in his long term program with regular visits and adjustments (these taper off as he evaluates improvement). Some reviewers have faulted him for frequent adjustments, but this is part of his program for long term spine health and these are reduced as improvement occurs. He has a thorough and extremely well organized procedure for patients. This includes the vibration bed, flexible exercises, followed by adjustments. Dr. Noya is in demand and popular, yet the passage through exercises to adjustment is so well organized that patients are not kept waiting, nor is the overall appointment time long. He is walking distance (3 blocks) to the red line metro at Tenley, and I always find parking spaces near the office. He gets patients in and out with exercise very efficiently. Sinusitis sufferers. I've been suffering with sinusitis for over 20 years. Sinus headaches, fatigue and miserable for 1 - 2 weeks, usually occurring twice a year.
