Dr. Christina is my go to chiropractor here in VA Beach. The exam they give you is very thorough and the periodic follow up exams are super helpful for seeing your progress. Emily is always in a good mood and LaTanya is the best about rescheduling my appointments (I travel a LOT for work). Towards the end of my time in the Navy, I injured my back and couldn't do much physical activity because of it. Now I am without pain most of the time, and can tell when I need to go in for another adjustment. Consistency is key, and my first choice is always Wave of Life (Princess Anne location).

I’ve been going to wave of life for 2 years now. I used to have issues walking after having twins and carrying them nonstop. It was difficult to walk my dog or even sit in a certain position without pain. After the first visit I had immediate relief but the biggest healing came by continuing to come week after week. Great chiro! There is a very noticeable difference in my two children after their visits. We started coming here with my second child’s birth and it’s made all the difference in his sleep, appetite, mood, and general demeanor. He’s an angel baby and I attribute most of it to this chiro and my homebirth. My first child started coming at 3 years old and when she’s adjusted she’s noticeably different for at least 24 hours. The more frequent the adjustments the better she is. She is my more difficult child but chiro really helps her. I also started coming about 9 months ago and I had 10/10 migraines that started in my neck, these adjustments brought those down to a 2 and the rest was a diet change. Wave of life has made a difference in our lives and many of our friends lives. Thankful for this chiro!

Love Wave of Life Chiropractic Team!!! After my daughter and grandson started with them I went in to see about my spine and where I needed adjustment. Since I carry my stress in my shoulders and having lower back issues I am so happy with my treatment plan. I go twice a week and look forward to seeing Dr. Krista and being adjusted. Has improved my posture and my ability to perform my job duties easier. The ladies here feel genuinely caring and good people. The whole place has a more west coast vibe ! Which I appreciate as it reminds me of my so cal home. The kids are becoming more relaxed with each adjustment and the doctors are super gentle. We always feel welcomed and never feel rushed as I’m sure we liven the place up with our presents . So if you have ever been to a chiropractor you know they can sometimes hold not traditional hours of operation, the hours here are actually better and more accommodating than traditional business hours. I’ve been to several different chiropractic offices but I’ve never been in one as amazing as wave of life. Dr.Carly and Dr.Krista are wonderful doctors. I truly enjoy watching them adjust the families’ children. It’s so amazing to see infants be adjusted and how they seem to love it themselves. Chiropractic care at this office as has been spectacular. They taylor the care specific to what you and your body needs and that’s something you won’t get at most offices. Best chiropractors ever! We are so sad we are moving away and will have to find new ones. I really believe coming here is why my daughters acid reflux symptoms went away as fast as they did. My daughter also has an easier time with teething and sleeping. They also really helped my lower back pain after pregnancy. I learned so much about chiropractic care, essential oils, yoga, and meditation from coming here too! They are really felixable with scheduling appointments which is great for military families. I am SO glad we made the decision to start seeing Dr. Carly! I began seeing her during my third pregnancy when my hip pain was making it difficult to walk. My baby was also breech and I needed her to turn if I was to be able to have the home birth I was hoping for. After the first week of care, the baby turned and my hip pain was gone! I also ended up having a very quick, easy home birth! I soon got my husband on board and he noticed an improvement in his strength and endurance right away! Leaving one of our appointments, I remember us both just marveling over how it felt to not be in pain and to actually feel good every day! I was particularly drawn to the practice because they are some of the only chiropractors certified in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care in the area and I feel so incredibly comfortable with them caring for me during my pregnancy. Went here during the last three weeks of my pregnancy and it released so much back pain and helped my little overdue babe belly be a little more comfortable to sleep with at night. I had a long unmedicated birth with a lot of back pain.. I started going to Dr. Carly in March 2018, I was 3 months pregnant and was experiencing 3-4 migraines a week. Amazing staff and Dr. Carly is very knowledgeable of all things Chiropractic. She adjusted my daughter starting at 8 weeks when she was had colic and extreme reflux. She had been put on medication by the pediatrician for her reflux even though she was breastfed. During the beginning of my pregnancy I had an awful pain in my pelvis that made it painful to even get out of bed in the morning. I started seeing Dr. Carly and with her help the pain went away after just a few visits! I can’t imagine what I would do without this place! I first came when I was in my third trimester and needed pain relief. Not only were the last few weeks of my pregnancy sooo much better due to the relief from pregnancy pains, but it has helped tremendously with my postpartum recovery. Dr. Carly is amazing. I have had two debilitating back injuries from lifting things I should not have. She got me through both of those injuries without any need for surgery or physical therapy. Dr. Carly is also very good with patient education and the importance of good spine health. She offers prenatal care for moms, spinal care for infants and all ages on up. Wave of Life also has a massage therapist on premises. It is definitely a great place for spinal care!

Being a single mom of 2 very athletic children, for some reason I was 110% against chiropractic medicine. To be honest, it scared me. My daughter, 12 years old, had the absolute worst year health wise this past school year. Numerous visits to patient first, ER and I can't even count how many pediatrician visits. She was almost hospitalized twice. January of this year she had an accident and ended up with a concussion. She was once again out of school for 3 weeks, doctors were asking her to be out longer and we almost had to have at home school assistants. Wave of Life Chiropractic care plans are a hit with us. The unlimited adjustments for a set price work specifically for me. 10 years ago I was in a terrible car accident. Dr. Carly's office has been the first to take measurements of progress and follow ups. Under Dr. Carly's care, my baseline measured a head tilt at 2.7 degrees, at at my first follow up, my head is not tilted. My baseline also showed a head shift forward at 1.9" and my re-evaluation 2 months later reveals .95" forward shift. I love that there is progress being measured and that I can see the progress and not have to rely on just my overall "feelings" which are not a true objective measurement.

I was so impressed that I decided to have my son(9) go in since he's been dealing with bed wetting since his Father deployed in 2008. He went to his 1st appt, Consultation and I could not believe what I heard that evening. He got up, went to the bathroom, and voided for the 1st time EVER since he was potty trained at 2 after going to bed and being asleep. He wakes up for nothing, very deep sleeper. It has been difficult with getting him to not wet the bed especially when the trigger was the absence of his Father in a foreign country.
