I had pain and tightness along the left side of my body for weeks and massages were not helping, which was rare. I did a walk-in at this place on my way to the grocery store next door and Dr. David has me feeling brand new again. I had to give it a week to see if it really helped before I reviewed. And yes it did, so I made my colleague's and family aware of this place that has brought me such relief. I can even race my kids again.

I've been experiencing pain for 3 months. Haven't been able to sleep at night, going back and forth to doc appt trying to figure out what is going on with me and why I have been feeling like this. At many times throughout the day I would be in so much pain to the point where I would feel as though it would be hard for me to breath. Constantly crying and trying to get relief this has been nothing short of a nightmare. This place has completely changed my life. I came in yesterday honestly scared but hopeful. The young lady at the front desk was very kind, courteous and extremely helpful. The paperwork did not take long and once that was completed the young men came and got me. He talked to me he listened to my concerns and my problems he gave me a great consultation and he gave me an amazing adjustment. When I left I felt wonderful I was in a complete different state of mind I was so happy. Last night was the first night that I have been able to actually stay awake and watch movies with my husband, cook dinner with my husband, get wonderful sleep, and no tears. I cannot wait for my next visit I am so excited and I am so thankful to have found them. I will tell anyone if you are experiencing any pain for whatever reason this is the place to go. I'm so thankful and I can't wait for my next visit. Wonderful job wonderful team! Perfect 10s across the board!! 😊😊

Doc V gave a much more thorough adjustment than I've ever received at other Joint locations! She did more than just the standard 7. She did my wrists and knees/legs on top of neck and back. Highly recommend Doc Victoria!

Dr. Denise K 👏 Adjusted my sister yesterday and let me tell you how amazing this woman is!! So first let me start from the beginning. We walked in and were brought back immediately, we were next in line . We watched as Dr. Denise was very thorough with asking her clients if they were comfortable with each adjustment as she went along the process. She had a great attitude and a big smile you can tell she loves what she does. She was so entertaining to watch. I love how she verbally communicates after each adjustment to ensure satisfaction. Watching the couple before us stand up with a huge smile on their faces was an obvious sign she had adjusted them perfectly. Now it was time for my sister who we call “ No Drop Dixon” because she gets scared of the table and the sounds it makes. Dr. Denise respected this request with care and because of that , for the first time in years my sister actually allowed her to use the drop table. All because she like Dr. Denise’s energy and respect she gave her. She was able to trust her with that . I swear I witnessed a miracle yesterday. I’m ready to drop my chiropractor and switch to the The Joint because I want Dr.Denise to adjust me like she did everyone . She did a beautiful job. My sister walked tall out of there and her whole demeanor changed. Before walking in she was not feeling great and her attitude matched. Afterwards we walked the entire Wegmans with a new stride and bounce ! Thank you so much for making a difference in your work place and peoples lives Dr.Denise and Thank you to The Joint for having her!

I would give the Virginia Beach location somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Im a physical therapist and I initially came in for a very specific issue. My first visit was pleasant as the tall male chiropractor did a general screen. I came in for right shoulder blade/rib pain that was making it difficult to breathe, drive, and sleep. You do not necessarily see the same person. So if you like a person, you might not see them depending on when you drop in. I signed up for their package 4 visits a month with a special for the first month where you get 4 more visits. Treatment felt generic. It seemed like they always adjusted my neck and back which started to get tight as a reaction to the shoulder blade discomfort. There was slight relief of my pain but the rib pain was still persistent. After 12 visits with no resolution in sight, I canceled my membership to look for another chiropractor that could help with the rib issue. I would like to give a very specific positive review for Dr. Karpowicz which I randomly saw on my last visit as I was trying to finish up what was left on my monthly plan. She too "cracked" my neck and back and when she was done asked for feedback. That's when I told her that it was ok just as previous visits but the rib pain was still there as usual when treatment was done. The previous chiropractors recommended dry needling but the pain did not feel or present itself as muscular. When I told her this she attempted a more specific adjustment at my shoulder using the drop table and I finally felt a pop under my shoulder blade release. I've waited two days before writing this review to make sure the rib issue really resolved and I am happy to say it has. So if you just want your neck and back cracked, this would be the place but it may be up in the air if you have a more specific need whether you get someone with the knowlege and experience to treat it.

Leah & Ivey at the front desk were so welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful! This was my first experience with TheJoint and honestly it couldn’t have went any better!!! Dr. David Boylan was beyond excellent, he thoroughly explained to me (with visuals) how chiropractic care works. My adjustment went well and my care plan was laid out for me before leaving. The wellness plan is so reasonably priced! 10/10

Oh, he made me cry y’all. 🥹 Dr. David should be given an award because lord have mercy, he made me cry in the BEST way. I’ve had this pain and high tension in my neck, causing a build up of fluid in my ear canal, reducing my ability to hear out of it. I came in today in excruciating pain. Unable to really move my head or hear. Dr. David was so very kind and patient as he worked with me. He kept communication with me during the entire process. Let me take breaks in between adjustments even though they were about to close and he had other patients. The last time I came here the Dr was unable to get this crick out of my neck. Today Dr. David was able to work it out of my neck, and the tears just started flowing immediately from the relief. I’ve been dealing with this pain for almost 3 months, and he made it go away in less than 30 minutes. I am overall in a better mood, physically more comfortable, and just relieved over all I came in today. I can’t wait to come back here. Very grateful for Dr. David. If you’re looking for chiropractic care, look no further than The Joint.

This was my first chiropractic experience and I must say that I am now a believer. I had a horrible neck pain that had been lingering for 3 days, unaware of if it was the way I slept or something else. I couldn’t lift my head independently nor could I raise my arms above my head. The initial process was simple and the chiropractor was empathetic to the pain and knowledgeable of the resolution. I felt better immediately after my session. I have always valued chiropractic visits. This particular business has been very professional, helpful, and they have done an amazing job keeping me adjusted. They not only provide excellent service, they are affordable which is hard to find. I’ve only have had three adjustments so far, everyone was excellent. I really like both chiropractors. Their front desk crew are also friendly, nice to talk to and helpful. My first visit I received a free adjustment, the wait was long because there were so many others getting a first time free adjustment. The ladies at the front counter made the long wait feel much faster through great conversation about chiropractic practices and overall interaction with customers. I highly recommend!

Great place with a clean environment and caring practitioners! I’ve been to serval chiropractors and this is by far the best. Even check in is fast with scanning your key card. The only thing I would recommend is making the enormous initial patient registration paperwork digital so I can fill it out online before I get there.

I've been having neck and back problems for years. I attempted to see a chiropractor on several occasions but never went through with it. I'd go for a consultation and never go back. Honestly, I was afraid, all of the videos of the twisting and cracking of bones just really didn't make me feel good. What made me try The Joint was that the first visit was free and included everything; the evaluation, consultation and an adjustment. I didn't have time to go home and think about it or back out of it. It also helped that I didn't have to make an appointment. At my first visit, I was so scared that I didn't mind that several people went in ahead of me. The person at the front desk (Kyla) went back and told the Dr that I was afraid. Dr Hasaan (sp) at the Virginia Beach location came out and took me back. He made me feel at ease and explained everything to me. He talked to me during the adjustment which actually kept my mind off of what was happening. I felt 100% better afterwards! I hadn't been able to fully raise my right arm in years and now I can. It really is amazing. Everytime I go in for an adjustment I feel even better than before. This whole team is amazing, Kyla, Drs Hassan and Holmes (I hope I got everyone's name correct) are awesome and work really well together. I've been telling EVERYONE about them. If you're having any kind of aches or pain, give The Joint.a try. I haven't regretted it.

Okay so first of all I wish I could give more than 5 stars. when my husband and I walked in we were greeted by the most beautiful and welcoming staff members Kyra, Jess, and Jasmin. Kyra was so intelligent in educating my husband about the process. My husband said Dr. Hassan was absolutely amazing. He informed Brandon every step of the way. He thoroughly explained how adjustments worked and even showed a model spine. He took his time and answered all of Brandon questions. He really showed that he cared about helping him. Overall the staff was absolutely amazing. The experience was awesome. We will definitely be back and recommend.

I highly recommend this place! I’m 5 months pregnant and been suffering with sciatica, to the point I couldn’t sleep at night or perform daily tasks. I came across this place online and decided to give them a try. My first time seeing a chiropractor, customer service was very polite and explained things in detail. Dr. Holmes saved me! She took an interest in my situation, explained things to me along the way, and formulated a plan catered to my situation. I felt understood and cared about. After first treatment I was able to walk out of the office straight and even sit upright in the car! A lot of relief I felt throughout the day. Will definitely be going back to continue treatments!

My husband had to convince me that going to the chiropractor to get adjusted would actually relieve the pain in my shoulder from years of waiting tables and slinging drinks. I was a tough sale, the discomfort was something I just got used to. Both Doctor Holmes and Doctor David made me feel comfortable and heard when it came to my issues.
