I’m a new patient that has lower back pain last 2 years. My family Dr recommended this practice. I had a thorough evaluation and extra xrays done by Dr Allison. She clearly and patiently explained my issues and a program I needed to start. Been seeing Dr Swartz since July 2022 and its now Jan 2023. I am happy to say that I finally got some relief. When I first came in I could not stand upright. Any movement caused extreme pain. My sciatica was excruciating! As of now, my sciatica has eased up and my posture has improved 100%. Im nearing the end of my treatment plan. I will continue to see Dr Swartz as needed in the future.

Dr. Allison is like family. I have been going to her office for about 8 years now and have no intention on going anywhere else. I have gone to many other chiropractors prior to her office, but none have given even close to the level of service that she has or made my back feel good again. She always fits me and my children in when we have an urgent need and when we just need maintenance check ups. What’s a chiropractor, my parents used to call them bone crushers when I was little. I had no idea about them but my best friend kept telling me that she could help me walk better and alleviate my painful back, all I had to do was see her chiropractor. It took her 3 months to talk me into going, but I finally gave in and made an appointment. Still skeptical, I decided to give it a try. What has happened to me is nothing short of a miracle. It took about 4 appointments and I noticed a difference in my pain level and I was able to walk a little better. After 6 months I really could tell that my treatments were working. Now 14 months later I am able to walk without my rollator or having to ride in an electric cart to grocery shop and I have very little pain. Also I’ve never continued treatments longer than a month. I kept trying physical therapy but gave up after 6 weeks because I felt worse and it wasn’t helping. But now I’m doing so well and I’m only going every other week to get adjusted. I don’t want to stop, that’s how great it is. Everyone is different but if you weren’t sure about a chiropractor please give it a try. By the way I’m a 74 year old woman. Taking care of myself. I’m so grateful to my friend for her insistence to try her doctor. Thank you for allowing me to live a better life.

I have been seeing Dr. Allison Schwartz, since July 2021. I initially presented with left hip & thigh pain. And had tingling of left great toe. I had mid thoracic & lower lumbar pain. I leaned forward & to the left significantly. But the worst complaint was inability to sleep due to pain, so I was exhausted. Now Jan 2022 my pain is minimal & only on occasion in left hip, decreasing on pain scale from 10 to 2. I am standing up straight & have no other pain. I can finally ride a bike again & ride 10 miles per day. I am 68 years old, & a retired nurse. I feel like I have been given my life back. Being able to move & sleep without pain is priceless. The entire staff at PHC are kind, courteous, friendly, & always ready to answer your questions or help you with appointment schedule changes, when your life changes. I feel blessed to have found them.

My experience with Dr. Schwartz started out great when I started coming here since the end of December 2020. People in the office were nice and friendly. The office was always busy and I felt like they would get you in and out as fast as possible. As time passed, I quickly realized that the associates working the desk did not know what they were doing. I looked at my EOB's from my insurance provider and found that I had been overpaying by a few dollars for each visit. I told the person who charged my card to correct it on 01/26/21 because I knew I had overpaid by $23.35 at that point. I just found out (11/24/21) from looking at my EOB's that the associate who filed my claim added the extra water massage when I did not do it that day. Before I continue, I would like to preface that I have a Health Savings Account (HSA) which allows 26 visits to a chiropractor, per year. I was told on the first visit, that once I hit my deductible of $2,000 then my visits would start. I would later find out that was 100% false and would cause me to pay greatly. 05/17/21 was my last visit because I had a bad feeling about how this office was handling their insurance claims. I also started telling the office to start charging me only 20% of the amount because once I hit my deductible, that is the coinsurance I pay. Well, I hit my 26 visit cap at the beginning of April and was never informed. Therefore, I vastly underpaid for 1.5 months. I was sent a statement in August saying I owed over $400 which I knew to be false. Today, 11/24/21, I was sent another statement closer to $450. To be clear, I'm a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia and I finally did a full audit against all the EOB's from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and all my payments to this office from my credit cards. I actually owe them $288 which I will gladly pay after they take a look at the supporting documentation that I emailed them. If you are not well versed in health insurance or don't want to be overcharged by this office, I would avoid coming here. I am actually researching who to speak to in order to investigate them for possible insurance fraud. I'm only one of their many patients and I do not want other people to experience this. 12/7/21 Update - Dr. Schwartz has been in consistent communication with me the last two weeks. They now have a new billing provider and paying closer attention to their accounts. The amount that I calculated differed from their calculations that the new billing company has. Jill, representing the new billing company, gave me a call to see if we could close the gap but we could not find what the extra amount was. In the end, Dr. Schwartz agreed to the amount I calculated and I just sent the check out. I do appreciate her communication and willingness to make this right. I hope her current and new patients have a much better experience than this.

great. the only one from childhood to adult from past x-rays, MRI's & CAT scans - My primary Dr. wanted me have hip surgery, however I chose this office. Dr. Schwartz from my birth genetic that noticed my right leg shorter. From early years wear brace bar back, special shoes (holes in right sock), back braces teen years till saw Dr. Schwartz, knee brace, foot brace, took over the counter arthritis medicine. After seeing office, I know longer take arthritis meds, and not back, knee or ankle braces, and no holes in right socks. I praise her cooperation

Had my initial office visit earlier this week and was so impressed with how thorough the exam was. The staff and dr took time to hear what was going on and explained to me the potential causes for different issues i was feeling. The dr made sure that they would be able to work on those things and that my issues werent ones that should be referred to a different type of dr. Im pregnant and so I had plenty of questions and felt at ease and heard the whole time. I go back for the adjustment on Tuesday and I am excited to see what my first stage results are since they use a tool instead of the harsher twist and pop that other chiropractors use.
