Dr. Tom McAulliffe and his staff are wonderful. Dr. McAulliffe is always very professional, and well-informed about his profession. I always leave feeling the greatest! From the reception staff, greeting you with a smile, to the others supporting staff making sure everything is on point for a wonderful session. The massage therapy always have me leaving in “tip top shape”! As long as I will need therapy, Commonwealth Chiropractic & Massage Therapy of Virginia Beach will handle my business! I recommend them!

I have seen a few different chiropractors over the last 4 years, which all have been great, however Dr. Tom McAulliffe and his staff took a different approach and were extremely thorough! He took time to explain everything to me, and made sure I understood what he was doing and what the different tests/scans were for. I have experience in chiropractic and physical therapy, but it was nice that he still took the time to explain what he was finding instead of assuming I knew what he was talking about. Highly recommend this office!

I’ve been going here for about 6 months now and I can honestly say I feel so much better. The service is amazing and there’s been a handful of times I haven’t been able to make appointments or was going to be late and the staff was so flexible with it and so understanding. Doc is so friendly and actually cares about your health and explains everything in a way you can actually understand. Seeing the different tests and looking at where I started vs where I’m at now really helps you to see just what all is changing for the better. As long as I’m in VB , they will continue to be my chiropractor as I see no other logical choice!!!

Commonwealth Chiropractic has made a huge impact on my life. When I walked in the first day, I could barely walk, sit, or stand up straight due to sciatica. Within the first three weeks of adjustment I saw a drastic change in my body. The staff is very kind and helpful. Dr. McAulliffe is super friendly and truly cares about you getting better. At my second evaluation I could literally bend over and touch my toes again. I was excited, but seeing Dr. McAulliffe’s excitement was the best.

Dr. Thomas is super knowledgeable and focuses on the long term fixes, not just short term "band aids". I love that he does x-rays with his first consultation. It just assures that he wants to make sure he isn't missing any underlying issues. Dr. Thomas is super professional and provides great communication. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I had spent a year at another PT clinic with the same 3 adjustments no matter the reports of my symptoms, along side 2 other people that were getting nearly the same as me. I had nearly given up hope and figured I would just give them a chance. I am a PT and need to be able to be functioning fully for my patients as well. I always had issues with my neck and thought it was normal and lower back pain because I am pregnant. I came in for my first few adjustments and noticed my neck pain started to subside and my lower back pain was also less painful. Also, I am able to keep my fitness regiment with barely any limitations. I also suffer from a misalignment due to having knee surgery and being adjusted has really helped me not compensate due to my prior injury. I enjoy my adjustments now and the results it gives me especially with me about to be a new mommy. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed !

I went to Dr. McAulliffe and Commonwealth Chiropractic because they are located next to the One Life gym I frequent. I am very satisfied with the results. I went in for back pain and achieved dramatic improvement after three visits. I am on a three day a week regimen for a several weeks and things are continuing to improve. Dr. McAulliffe took the time to explain the physiology of my back with x-rays and other diagnostics. I never knew that back issues manifest not only in pain (10%) but in areas like headaches and sleep issues. The treatments have not only remediated my back pain, I am sleeping deeper and far better. My restless leg issues are gone as well. I wake up feeling refreshed. I need to check my blood pressure too, because I feel like it must be a lot lower now that the pain is gone and the nerves regulating my body's functions are back to normal. I have been to five chiropractors and Dr. McAulliffe is by far the best. Also, his staff are super-professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

This place is just fantastic. The doc really knows what he’s doing. If you’re questioning yourself as to whether or not he can fix whatever is going on with you by doing some adjustments, trust me when I say that it works. Body aches, internal issues, sleeplessness, etc. these adjustments will more than likely fix all of your problems. The staff here is so welcoming and inviting and will do their best to try and help you with whatever it is you need help with.

I’m 24 and was a rower in college, now I surf just about everyday. My back was super stiff every morning, I could barely put socks on. My knees were so week one set of stairs and I was out of breath.
