He noticed right away that my body was sensitive to certain adjustments and changed my treatment plan to something that worked best for me. Top Notch Chiropractic Service. Knowledgeable. Goes Above & Beyond for his patients. I was referred to Dr. Russo by a friend because I needed serious chiropractic care. I drove from California to New Orleans for three days to take care of my mother, who was struggling with her health. The stress from the trip, plus day-to-day activities to care for an older parent had exacerbated my herniated discs. From my very first visit, I knew Dr. Russo was the right medical provider for me. He had reviewed my medical history ahead of time, discussed in depth treatment for the two months I'd be staying in New Orleans and we got into treating my back & neck without wasting any time. My back and neck went from feeling pain and discomfort to 100% relief. I literally saw the difference in a few sessions (greater range of motion & minimal discomfort), and overall I was happy with the results. I felt like I had returned to California as a brand new woman! Next time I'm town, I know who will be taking care of my chiropractic needs.

Excellent treatment with Dr. Russo! My previous chiropractor couldn’t fit me in when I aggravated a old injury so I made calls and Dr. Russo saw me at the end of the same day. Beyond getting me back adjusted, he gave me a lot of knowledge on how my injury persist due to life & workout habits and how to prevent it all in the future on every treatment. I never received that type of information from any others. The care I have received at Dr. Russo's clinic has been excellent. Years ago, before I moved to New Orleans, another chiropractor did some adjustments to my neck and back. While I felt much better after the visit, I did not enjoy the overall experience; I felt too anxious and uncomfortable. As a result, I never returned. My experience with Dr. Russo has been so much better. From my very first visit I have felt at ease and informed of the different adjustments he was performing. I have now been a patient for close to two years, and my neck and upper back pains that result from daily cycling and weight lifting have decreased significantly. Now I visit Dr. Russo every 4 to 6 weeks or for a minor adjustment here and there. Instead of taking pain medications to numb neck or back pains, I schedule a quick visit feeling confident that I will feel much better afterwards. Dr. Russo has also provided suggestions and treatments that have improved my overall health. When I mentioned that my ears often get irritated and/or infected after exposure to second hand smoke, he recommended a specific type/brand of a probiotic supplement to that I could buy from a national health food store in town. I do believe that taking the supplement boosted my immune system, and it has helped reduce the number of times I have needed to take antibiotics for ear infections (none in the last six months). In that same visit he also performed a manual adjustment to my neck and the back of the skull to help drainage of liquid that produces the ear infection. I’m pretty sure I loudly said wow immediately after that adjustment. I also appreciate that these health recommendations have never felt pushed or forced, they have come from the casual conversations during my visits.

For the past year I have been going to specialist regarding pain I've been experiencing in my back and knees, but they only focused on my knee and I continued to suffer daily with pain. Dr. Russo is incredible at what he does. He treats you as a complete and whole person. When you go in for an initial consult, he takes the time to really get to know you and the issues you are experiencing. After that, he compiles a treatment plan that actually works. I've suffered from tension/migraine headaches since I was 5 years old and there is no better treatment than what he provides. He is flexible in scheduling and when my body tells me something is off, I call and he is eager to help. I'm lucky to be his patient.

My Chiropractor said he and Dr. Russo studied together and performed the same techniques. When I went for my first visit it was awesome. Dr. Russo is truly the best chiropractor I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He has helped me tremendously recover from chronic issues which stemmed from an overactive sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) and a underactiveparasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest). Recent research is showing a number of diseases including fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome, pots and more are related to dysfunction in the autonomic nervous system. So the key to treatment is to get the nervous system balanced out again. Dr. Russo understood this, and has been performing "Vagus Nerve" adjustments on me for the last 8 weeks. The rate of recovery over the last 2 months has been increased dramatically. My pain levels are finally at a zero after dealing with chronic pain for a long time. As far as im aware, he is the only expert in the city that understands the anti inflammtory capabilities of vagus nerve adjustments. Couldn't recommend Dr. Russo enough, he knows what he is doing and can help you get better!

I have always been skeptical of Chiropractic. When I developed pain in my neck and shoulder, I wanted to make medication or surgery my last resort. I found Dr. Russ, he diagnosed the cause and began treatment. Within a very short period of time the pain I was having improved dramatically. The key to success with Chiropractic treatment is first to find a good Doctor (Dr. Russo), show up for regular appointments and meticulously follow his instructions. I have been trying to live with serious neck pain and stiffness, waiting for it to get better. I went to the VA and was given muscle relaxer pills which made me lay in bed all day. I started to miss physical therapy sessions for my hip because I was so medicated. My hip AND neck got worse from laying around all day. It was so bad I couldn't lift a phone to my ear or turn my head. I knew I needed an adjustment for my stiff neck to loosen up so I asked VA doctors several times for a referral to a chiropractor. After a couple weeks of getting the run-around from the VA doctors and nurses(and no referral) I made my own appointment and paid for it myself... I was able to get an appointment the very next morning and immediately got results; I'm able to turn my head again. And I function much better without all the pills too. Dr. Russo is very likeable person and did a great job of getting me back to normal.

Let me begin by saying, like a lot of people I was scared of chiropractors because I thought they were bone crackers that lay you down and jump on your back until you hear a bunch of pops because thats what I was told by my general practitioner....that couldnt be further from the truth.
