I would recommend Dr. Joe Breuwit in a heartbeat, I had gone to several other Chiropractors and while they provided temporory relief for sciatica and lower back muscle cramps, the pain always returned after a day or two. Dr. Joe Breuwit, a NUCCA Chiropractor has eliminated my sciatica and lower back muscle cramps permanently after a few sessions, overall very satisfied with the results! Been going to see Dr. Breuwit once a month for about five years now for maintenance adjustments, worth it!

Honestly, I was a little skeptical at first because the adjustment is so slight that you think "what in the world is this really doing?" But after going continuously (1-2x/week for 3 months), and having exhausted all other recommended treatment options for two years of chronic neck pain that didn't work, THIS WAS IT! I have been managing my health through upper cervical chiropractic care provided by Dr. Joe Breuwet for the past 6-7 years. I initially went to Dr. B. to see if his care could help me manage symptoms of a condition called Meniere's. The most debilitating symptom was vertigo. I was having regular bouts of vertigo prior to receiving upper cervical treatment. It stopped immediately, and the dizziness gradually subsided. I have not had vertigo since then. I have had 'frozen shoulder' twice in the last 20 years. I was going to a physical therapist who could only take my range of motion so far. When I began my treatment with upper cervical, I regained 100% range of motion in that shoulder and have not had problems with it since then. I have also had relief from sciatica, which has plagued me for many years. I no longer feel numbness in my left hip and pain running down the side and back of my left leg. I first saw Dr. Breuwet in 2019 because I've had shoulder and neck pain. Probably from all the tension my muscles have built over the years from weightlifting and crossfit. I don't recall why I stopped going after 3 visits but I thought maybe his adjustments didn't really work. Since then I've always had pinched neck and shoulder pains that would last for weeks at a time. They would resolve on its own and eventually I'd feel another one somewhere. In addition to shoulder and neck, I started to get lower back/hip pain on the right side. I already new my hips were uneven (same time I've had my shoulder and neck pain) but it didn't really cause that much pain so I overlooked it. Over the years I've noticed my back pain grew progressively worse and I wasn't as limber as before. There was discomfort when I ran and it became a huge issue because I needed to train for the military. I did research on my own and found that upper cervical treatment would provide the best results. 3 years later I found myself back getting treatment and I have now been going once a week for a month and a half now. My neck and shoulder pain are gone completely and my lower back/hip is gradually getting better. I definitely feel more limber and am able to stretch in positions I couldn't before. Can't wait to hopefully feel 100% but I know gotta be patient. Go see Dr. Breuwet now if you feel any discomfort! Don't wait like I did where the pain just got worst. My experience with the staff and doctor has been great. I have had genuine and very positive results. Came in with a 10 yr insomnia issue, and a 2 yr pain in my back and foot. After my first treatment my insomnia issue improved 80% and after a month, it’s astoundingly normal. I can’t express in words what a huge difference this makes in my life. Since 2004 I got a whiplash on the Shaka ride at the Hawaiian Water Park in Kapolei which is on the west coast of Oahu, Honolulu. So I've suffered for many years. It cause many of problems from head to toe. My experience at upper cervical Hawaii has been life-changing. I was experiencing a tremendous amount of hip pain and it was affecting my ability to exercise and at times even walk. I tried many different treatments (physical therapy, acupuncture, regular chiropractics and massage) with no real result, the pain would subside for a week or so after treatment and then return with no improvement. I heard about Upper Cervical and thought I would give it a shot since I really had nothing to lose and was facing options like steroid shots and eventual surgery. Dr. Breuwet was knowledgeable and frank and did not pressure me into treatment but made recommendations based on my x-ray and test results. Within a month of my first adjustment my hip pain had reduced to a fraction of what it had been for the past year, and within 3 months I was pain free and could even start running again. It was relieving to know that I was treating the root of the issue (my neck mis-alignment) rather than continue to treat the symptom (my hip pain). I have been getting regular maintenance adjustments with Dr. Breuwet for the past 5 years now and I have remained pain free. How to start? Well I went in with complete doubts that he could help me as I thought there was no way that I could be fixed with such a crooked spine, tilted shoulders, and offset hips. I suffer from degenerative spine issues which result in severe pain. Both in my neck and back of which my Doctors said there is nothing they can do except give me pain pills. From the first day I went to Dr. Joe I thought this Hocus Pocus gentle pushing of my neck is not going to work. Boy was I ever mistaken. I immediately could feel my neck getting warm as I could feel circulation starting and I actually got dizzy and have to lay in his comfortable quiet room chair. I went home and that night I had twitching in my arm which I called the next day and asked if this was normal and was told yes it's because of the release and realignment of my upper cervical. Well that was 3 years ago and I am still a regular and very very very happy customer. My spine feels a lot better my shoulders are perfectly level and my hips are aligned and I have no pain in my legs.
