When my former Chiropractor decided to sell her practice and move to the mountains, I went in search of someone new. I was having chronic shoulder and hip pain due to a previous car accident and a fall and was seeking someone that was going to be able to get some very stubborn, stuck areas to move after years of stiffness and pain. After six weeks of treatments with Dr. McIver, I have an incredible amount of respect for this man. He is educated, knowledgeable and truly has a passion and art for his craft. He is a caring, genuine man who listens and tailors each adjustment to your needs that day versus giving you the same snap, crackle, pop and out the door tx. Today for the first time in years, I no longer need to change my body mechanics and posture due to pain and stiffness. My body is starting to heal itself and able to function properly due to the adjustments I have had. I know I have a longer journey yet, but under the care of Dr. McIver there is a true light at the end now and I can focus on treating my own clients and helping them heal. I will continue to refer my clients to his practice knowing they are in knowledgeable, capable hands and hope I can give back to him what he has given back to me.

I have never used chiropractic before, and after large surgery this year I ended up having some back issues and was willing to do anything to help with the pain. Dr. McIver has done an amazing job and my back is feeling better than it was even before I had surgery. As an extra degree of difficulty I currently have an implanted medical device that he has had to work around. He does customized treatments to work around these issues. He is a very smart dude that is highly skilled in his profession.

Dr. McIver is the best chiropractor I have ever seen! I’ve gone to chiropractors nearly my whole life and he is above all of them. He helped me through a very painful pregnancy; hip pain, groin pain, lower back. I was virtually pain free the whole pregnancy after the first two weeks of adjustments. He has also been seeing my 5 year old and his care has helped her so much. My newborn is also a patient. Now I just have to get my husband in!

After a shoulder injury over 10 years ago, multiple rounds of physical therapy, and pain med and patches with no relief. I couldn’t workout without the next day my hand going numb until I found Northside and Dr. McIver. It’s honestly been a godsend and has changed my quality of life forever. I never imagined living my life without the pain I’ve had for so long but here I am. Able to work out and my sleep has never been better! Dr. McIver and Allison are some of the best people I’ve ever met. They are understanding to my unpredictable schedule and last min cancellation. Dr McIver is dedicated to not only your health journey but you as a person. Just today, after having a really turbulent month, I hit a wall and Dr. McIver recognized it, made me feel seen and validated my feelings. Which hasn’t happened in really long time. I've never been to a Chiropractor before and really, super dislike the cracking of my bones. That said, Dr. McIver is professional, holistic and really works to make you feel better. I have had huge relief from pain in my middle back, neck and numbness in my arms. And since I'm sensitive to this cracking, he doesn't push past what he might think I'm comfortable with and I'm still experiencing relief! Super happy with my experience with @Northside Chirpractic!

After a couple years of seeing Dr Dustin, I can say me and my boys feel like family when we walk through the door. Allison is great and rescheduling is never a problem. I have a 7 yo, 5 yo and 2 yo that have all been adjusted for the past 2 years by Dr Dustin and he is great with them. They don’t bat an eye at having an adjustment, the two year old is a pro! When I started here I was complaining of back pain and my body hurt every morning when I got out of bed (I thought it was a mattress problem). One day a while back I realized that I haven’t had any back pain or trouble getting out of bed in a long long time. Such a big deal for my quality of life, and we will be seeing Dr Dustin once a week for eternity 😊

I have been going to see Dr. Mclver for about 8 months now and he is great! Dr. Mclver and Allison are so friendly and nice it is great seeing them every visit. My back has been feeling a lot better and I have noticed it more now that I’m back in school. He does a great job and I would recommend him 100%. He does do things a bit differently than some of the other chiropractors that I have seen in the past. Don’t expect to get adjusted and be perfect in just one visit. It takes multiple adjustments but it’s definitely worth it!

Dr. Dustin is the BEST. He focuses on a holistic approach to health, is clearly passionate about his job, and loves to answer any questions you have with his vast knowledge on the human body. He's also happy to talk about other topics; I've heard him discuss everything from video games to politics. The office is a calming environment and Allison is a wonderful receptionist. From when you walk in to when you leave, it's an all-around great experience. I cannot recommend Northside enough!

I started bringing in my 5-year old last year to help with his nervous system regulation since he'd been quite reactive and explosive in his behavior since infancy... since coming here consistently, we've noticed (and his grandparents, too) HUGE improvement in his behavioral capacity (yesssss!)! We paused visits for a couple months and noticed (grandparents, too) a drastic dip to where things were before starting regular chiro care. Since we started coming consistently again, we're back to smooth sailing. Thank you, Dr McIver, not only for your skills, but for helping to educate us, too!

Dr.Mclver was very Thorough in the consultation. We got a treatment plan going on my second visit and I was adjusted for the first time today. I have to say that he was very good at communicating what he was doing because cracking my neck made me very nervous. It’s a great atmosphere I can’t wait to see How I feel after we finish our initial treatment plan. It’s also very kid friendly which I really appreciate should I ever have to bring any of my children. Definitely recommending him to other friends who are having back or neck issues.

Dr. McIver really knows what he’s doing. I have been having muscle tightness for years now. I have been through physical therapy which was not much help. I visited a different chiropractor but I didn’t find relief. I’ve gotten so much relief from my muscle tension with adjustments Dr McIver has given. I especially like the Y strap.

I started seeing Dr. McIver over a year ago after a terrible migraine issue. I can honestly say his chiropractic care changed my life. I went from having a migraine that lasted almost 2 weeks and frequent daily issues to almost no migraines or any headaches within a couple months. I didn't know that was even possible! I have gone from having horrible lower back pain, which prevented me from walking longer than 10 minutes, to no pain at all when walking hours at a time. I cannot express how thankful I am for Dr. McIver! I have seen multiple chiropractors, but Dr. McIver is the only one that actually made a difference. When I was pregnant with my first child, I saw another chiropractor up to 3 times a week due to excruciating pain in my back and hips. Nothing seemed to make it better and the doctor was even surprised that I wouldn't get any relief. This issue lasted well after my daughter was born for over 1.5 years! This is when I decided to switch to Dr. McIver as I heard great things about his work. Within a few adjustments I finally found relief, and it didn't just go away after a day or two. Shortly after switching to his care, I found out I was pregnant with my second child and I was very nervous as I the first time was so rough. But, I had nothing to fear! Dr. McIver's original adjustments didn't budge and I have been pain free this entire pregnancy. I haven't needed to see him much at all and this is such a different story than my first. I have so many friends and family mention to me how different I am with this pregnancy, and I have Dr. McIver to thank for this. I would highly recommend his care to anyone who is in need of a good doctor to help make a difference in their quality of life!

I previously was going to another chiropractor, like clock work, and would go in and get adjusted the same way ever time without being checked over. I had headaches on a regular basis until I got adjusted and then I was good for a few weeks and then they same cycle. I meet Dr. McIver at our local community expo and decided to go in and talk with him and give him a try. What an unbelievable difference. He took the time to take and review my xrays, sat down and went over everything with me and what he felt would be our best course of action. Let me tell you, it was the best decision I’ve made. Literally the best chiro experience ive had in over 10 years!! Ive always had back and neck problems, and i finally found DR. McIvers office and i will not go anywhere else! I was so out of posture, and my body was so unstable, and after a couple weeks i already noticed a difference!!! .. had a car accident and lost out on almost 3 months of chiro work, only to go back and have him literally fix a nerve that was so pinched causing tingling and numbness in my arm and hand, and after maybe 7 visits?.. i have arm motion back almost as completely normal as before the accident! Not to mention, extremely kid friendly! My kids beg me to let them come to my appt!! They love it!! So much info! If you have chiro questions, ask the dr! He has answers.. everytime!
