I found this practice on-line. They do cold laser therapy, they are close to my house, and it is a one-doctor practice. I knew I was taking a chance, and boy, did I luck out. I was treated enthusiastically by the receptionist when I just walked in to check things out. The best, and most important thing of all was meeting Dr. Langel. He was amazing. He listened, asked important questions, and addressed and assessed my issues in the most professional and effective manner I have encountered in my previous and quite extensive experience with other chiropractors. I highly recommend Dr. Langel.

Dr Langel is the best! He is the first medical professional that ever told me I didn’t have to be in some sort of pain every day. Changed my whole perspective on what I can and can’t do. If you have pain you’ve always lived with and think is a normal part of life; I thought that way for almost 20 years after a back injury. Physical therapy, pills, hot/cold packs, massages- nothing really stopped it, just made it temporarily better. Then I went to Dr Langel. It took an x-ray, an assessment, and a few intense weeks, but he managed to address the issue and help me finally recover. I am almost 50 now and I feel better than I have felt in decades. He proved my pain didn’t have to be a part of my life.

Well as stated in other reviews I was also in quite delimma while making choice of visiting Chiropractor for my neck and lower back pain. I went with ratings and reviews and as my therapy started, I not only found relief but reason for pain too. Dr. Langel is so perfectionist that he caught exact point of discomfort in my back without me telling about it. Staff is friendly and so is Dr. Langel. I fell and had a compression fracture in my back and broke a bone in my foot. Dr. Langel treated my back, and my pain has completely subsided. An orthopedic doctor fitted me with a knee-high boot that I was to wear for three weeks. After three weeks, an x-ray showed the bone had healed, but I couldn't walk without that boot. My doctor advised me to go to a foot doctor, and the first available appointment was a month later. I decided to see Dr. Langel, as my foot was very swollen and painful to the point I could not walk. He said it would take a while to heal, but four days after laser treatments, I could walk with no pain. A week later, most of the the swelling has subsided. Dr. Langel and his assistant, Julie, are both excellent people and always smile to greet you. Dr. Langel always takes the time to answer all your questions. He keeps updated on his practice. I highly recommend Dr. Langel. He is a very special person who cares a lot about people.

I had my reserverations of going to a Chiropractor, but I put them aside, and in September 2016, I decided to see Dr. Langel for severe migrains and vertigo issues. Things got extremely better quickly, and I felt 100% amazing. Then the episodes started back up Spring 2019; I called and was able to get in right away. And today I have went from a migrain almost 3+ time a week, daily vertigo issues, to NO migrains or vertigo issues. I reached out to this clinic for the laser therapy treatment they provide. I've battled extensive knee pain for over two years. Have had surgery to repair a bone marrow lesion, but still deal with much inflammation and pain from the arthritis. I've tried so many different treatments (injections, pain meds) and was at the point where my next step was going to be knee replacement which I am still too young for. I'm active, was a runner and wanted my active lifestyle back. After just two laser therapy treatments (10 minutes each), I noticed a significant improvement. A month later (and after a total of 7 treatments), I was on vacation hiking and rock climbing with no pain. It was amazing! I could barely walk a quarter mile before! My husband and I have been going to Dr. Langel on and off for about four years now. I say on and off because of insurance reasons (long story so I'll just leave it at that). In the off times we've been to other chiropractors in the area and I have to say, none of them compare to the care and attention we've gotten from Dr. Langel and his office staff. My most recent visits were after pinching a nerve in my lower back on Thanksgiving day. It's hard to care for a toddler who's used to you picking them up all the time. Not being able to get out of bed without feeling paralyzed or any daily activity for that matter. As soon as I could get in to see Dr. Langel he knew right away what needed to be done. We set up a schedule for future visits and within a week I was feeling much better. If any of this is sounding familiar to you, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Langel.

I came to Dr. Langel after hurting my lower back by simply bending over. I was unable to do anything without pain, was bed ridden and needed help even walking. The feeling of helplessness was overwhelming. My insurance had just ran out and I was terrified I would need surgery. Under Dr. Langel's care, my condition changed dramatically. I have a long time injury that comes and goes, when it come seems like nothing helps this time the pain stuck with me more then two years I couldn't sleep right not to workout(used to workout on daily base) even to sit for long time, went to chiropractor in California one that made it worst was switching chiropractors to try and get better with no luck. Had one chiropractor Dr Ed camp(recommended) in San Francisco seems helped me but still not there. Recently moved to Des Moines. A friend suggested Dr. Langel. I've had nothing but great things to say about him. He and his staff directly treat and adjust the problem (without looking for additional ways to up charge you) which is really nice. 5 stars in my book!
