This is probably the most amazing clinic I’ve been to. The location is amazing. The staff is absolutely a joy to be around, but the best part about this whole experience is Dr. Anthony himself! He takes the time to sit down and figure out what’s going on with you. He’ll take x-rays, spend extra time with you asking you different questions to try to identify different possible sources of your pain. Aside from being super knowledgeable, Dr. Anthony is very friendly and easy to get along with. I highly recommend coming here if you have the time to come, check out the spot in Lakeshore East, they have Marianos parking that can be validated right next-door, and there’s a dog park right outside.

Dr Anthony has saved my life! I came to him so messed up, with deterioration in my spine and a reverse curve in my neck and scoliosis and a bad hip and so many other things, unable to walk well and in pain. Now I can work out every day and my reverse curve is so much better! My hips are more even and less twisted, and I feel like I have my life back! Plus when my insurance wasn’t accepted, he worked with me to get a reasonable price. He also recommended me a great trainer when I decider I was ready to work out that really understands my needs as well, and is so very well educated about what I need and how to treat me. The office staff is so friendly and good at their jobs, even when I was late or needed to reschedule. I don’t know where I’d be without my chiropractor!

I started my chiropractor journey 3 months ago due to a sports injury. Dr. Anthony took completed X-rays and assessments no other chiropractor has done. I’ve been to a handful of different chiropractors over the years and this is by far the best. The treatment is personalized, Dr. Anthony Czahor is patient and passionate about his work and spends the proper amount of time with each patient. I wasn’t sure how reliable this place is, so I didn’t go there for a year, I just pass by. Until my back hurts so bad that I had a hard time falling asleep. I saw the ads saying $57 for a check on my bones. They gave me an examine and tell me how much the treatment plans are. They don’t force you to buy stuff. After insurance it was like $30 per visit, with training and adjusting. The sound was loud but I get used to it. Now I can fall asleep without back pain, which decreases my pain. It was small but pretty lovely. The only thing is that it has poor signals. The telephone responds quickly. There are other patients as well, but the center doesn’t force us to be a group. It’s not suspicious at all. Overall good experience.

I’ve never been to a chiropractor before, so I didn’t know what to expect. Walking in, the staff are so welcoming and helpful - I immediately felt comfortable! Right off the bat, Dr. Anthony knew my struggle! I had previously visited Midwest orthopedics at Rush for lower back pain. After taking X-Rays, it was explained to me that my only option was PT. Overall: Dr. Czahor and staff know what they are doing and make sure you are comfortable through the whole process! My chronic back soreness and neck have felt a ton better. I look forward to my appointments not only for the relief but for the whole staff. Years of yoga, stretching and even buying a massage gun have not given me the results I have had here in just over 2 months. Sports injuries have taken its tool. Dr. Czahor is all about whole body health. While I came in my back issues, he has made sure that any other areas get the attention it needs (Knees, and shoulders). To me this shows that the location is not focused on getting patients in an out, but focused on helping the individual feel better in their day to day lives. This is not always the case (especially with down town locations). This place receives my full recommendation!! My only regret is not giving them a chance sooner.

I can't believe I waited so long to see Dr. Anthony. The pain I had prior to coming in made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. And almost immediately after seeing him I was able to sleep again. I was nervous about getting adjustments (the chiropractic table is loud, so it sounded intimidating) and it looks super busy every time I walked by. But really the adjustments aren't uncomfortable at all. And although the place looks busy, its because everyone there is working on their assigned exercises. The whole operation is impressively efficient and well thought out. Kayla and Emmy are so welcoming and really look out for everyone. And I really appreciate how Dr. Anthony takes the time to explain what the issues are. Thank you so much to the Universal Wellness Source team!

Dr. Czahor and his AMAZING staff, Kayla and Emmy, always go above and beyond to ensure the entire patient care experience is flawless! He has been absolutely amazing and supportive throughout my treatment and helps me to always understand where we're at with my progress which is key since this type of treatment can be lengthy. I am happily continuing my treatment with Dr. Czahor and his team and I cannot thank them enough for the care I have received thus far!! Love coming here. I came here with lower back issues and Doc has worked his magic and I’ve only been improving! Im able to squat again without any pain and before putting just the bar on my shoulders and squatting down was very uncomfortable.They work with you to get you where you need to be and the staff is beyond friendly and very helpful! A severe pain has led me to this Chiropractic clinic. The treatment plan after a careful examination has been really effective and my back is showing a great progress. The service and care is great by the staff and the doctors. Attention to detail by doctors when dealing with pain is as great as it can be. The clinic also has wide range of pain, therapy and traction equipment, which are really useful to bring back fitness along with the treatment. There are lot of healthy and satisfied smiles I see around in this clinic for each appointment. Also, though the prices are really affordable, they are really good dealing with insurance and make it less of a burden on the pocket. Found out about UWS through an 'Around Town' episode on WGN morning news. The team uses a tool called a Y-strap and I've been scouring the Chicagoland area for a chiropractor that uses this tool and UWS was the place! The doctor and team at UWS of Lake Shore East is so knowledgeable, friendly, and you can clearly see they care about your well-being. I have been going for a little over a month and I cannot begin to express my gratitude as I find myself sleeping better, having less headaches/backaches, improved posture, and even more energy as I don't hurt! Highest of recommendations. Great care from the entire team at Universal Wellness. Tl;dr I have experience with chiropractors before. Some good, some not so good. I had been having recurring back issues due to old sports related injuries for several months and had truly come to the conclusion that only surgery might be able to alleviate my pain. I reached out to my pre-Pandemic chiropractor but discovered he was no longer practicing. Dr Eric Smith gave me a solid recommendation to try Universal Wellness and Dr. Anthony Czahor. I told Anthony that this was my last attempt. It was either this or surgery. He asked for my trust and said it was going to take work. Honestly, my hopes were low. I was just hoping for marginal improvement. One month in, marked improvement and returned to the gym. Two months in, near complete recovery, higher energy and enthusiasm noted from family and friends. Three months returned to all daily activities with solid gym gains. Honestly, my response to my treatment has far surpassed my expectations and I cannot thank Dr Anthony and his staff enough.

There’s are not enough words that I can use to express how I feel about Dr. Ashlin and his staff! At first I was very nervous about seeing a chiropractor but I had extreme lower back pain. It was to the point that I was unable to bend or get out of bed. So, I got the courage to see a chiropractor and scheduled an appointment at UWS on Benton.I arrived I was greeted with such a warm welcome. The ladies at the front desk do such an amazing job. They make you feel at home and like you’ve known them for years. Dr. Ashlin and staff explained everything in great detail. I’ve been seeing Dr. Ashlin for about a year now and there has been such a huge improvement. Now pain is nonexistent. After seeing such a dramatic difference in my life, I decided to have both my teenage boys see Dr Ashlin. My older son was complaining of extreme neck pain and my younger son had a lot of back pain. Both my boys expressed that Dr. Ashlin and his staff explained everything in a way that they understood the process and they really appreciated that. Now, about a year later my older son no longer feels neck pain and my younger son says he doesn’t feel back pain. Both said that they love getting adjusted and are recommending that their friends see Dr. Ashlin for their pain as well. Before beginning my care plan with Universal Wellness Source of Lakeshore East, I was often waking up multiple times during the middle of the night with back pain, waking up with an unsettling urge to pop my collarbone, and always feeling lower back pain sitting for more than a few hours to do work. Needless to say, something was out of whack! Thankfully, the team at Universal Wellness Center immediately took care to get me in for an appointment. Within only a few minutes, it became evident that the team was concerned about the pain I was experiencing and wanted to work with me to form a care plan that would work with my schedule and with my pain. As I prepare to "graduate," I find that I am in far better shape than I was before treatment. I have been a patient for years and the past year changed to this location while pregnant. I cannot say enough how much this helped me. I knew for years I had a rotated pelvis and this could make a delivery difficult. But because I came in regularly I believe it not only helped with pain issues I had during the pregnancy but helped to make the delivery a relatively easy one. My son from 32 weeks was able to get and stay in position and when I was fully dilated I only pushed for an hour and he came right out. I highly recommend them and coming even postpartum is a big help!

Dr. Anthony Czahor is the absolute best doctor at UWS! I came in with a herniated disc that caused me to have nerve pain, which traveled from my neck all the way to my hand. At first, I was skeptical to go to a chiropractor but I am definitely glad I did. Not only because I was having lower back issues but I needed a specialist to correct my issue. Dr. Czahor came highly recommended from a few other athletes as a great person to contact. Our first consultation was awesome and he helped assess my issue. I had low back pain on and off for several years but ignored it because it would go away...and yes I tried the gamut of stretches, PT, and Ibuprofen. NOTHING WORKED!!! Fortunately enough for me that all changed when I said enough was enough with the numbness down my left leg! I searched and searched for a chiropractor and was unsuccessful for over a month! Until I found Dr. Czahor! He is 100% in this for the benefit of his patients. Not your typical, let me crack you in a million places and get you out the door. My experience was much better than my initial expectations and for that I am thankful for the time I spent with him that day. I came here to treat symptoms of a bulging / herniated disc (admittedly anxious about using a chiropractor) and came away blown away by the results. It was amazing to be able to have quantifiable, legitimate data to measure my progress. Even better, this place isn't too hard on the wallet. Dr. KayLynne Koubsky (Dr. K) was the chiropractor for me, my husband and my son for 4 years and I highly recommend her. I was VERY skeptical about chiropractic care and any alternative care for that matter. Dr. K acknowledged my reservations about chiropractic care and eased me into care without being too pushy. I had great results and am still under care today. She also took the time to educate me on nutritional items as well. However, my most glowing review of her would be what she did for my 1 year old son. During my son's first year, his liver was not working properly and a top children's hospital could not figure out what was wrong with him. I got fed up and decided to try chiropractic care for him shortly after his 1st birthday. Prior to his evaluation and adjustment, I had my son's labs taken at the hospital. They were abnormal. Only 2 weeks after chiropractic care, I had them retaken and they were NORMAL for the first time. They were normal for the first time ever and have stayed that way every since. I certainly do not believe that chiropractic care cures everything, but it certainly helped my son and I am grateful.
