Dr. K is without a doubt one of the most empathetic, caring, and patient doctors I’ve had the pleasure to meet. My first appointment with her, we spent an hour together understanding and treating my pain. After 24 hours, my pain was 90% healed. I came back the next day for additional adjustments, a wonderful massage by their on site masseuse to target problem areas, and was fit for orthotics. The level of care and compassion from the entire staff is just something you don’t see anymore. I would highly recommend Dr. K to anyone looking to see a chiropractor in the city.

I hurt my back after a weekend of moving into a new place. The doctor diagnosed me with a slipped disc. I went in twice weekly to get adjusted and do physical therapy and after a couple weeks i feel great! Definitely recommend. Clean office and very friendly staff!

I can't say enough positive things about Chiropractic Physicians of Wicker Park! Dr. Karwowski and her staff are absolutely incredible! I'm sure most people dread going to the doctor but I would actually look forward to it...not only because of the relief and progress I was seeing with my physical health, but because the environment was so welcoming and comfortable. I have been seeing her since June for lower back and hip pain. I had never been to a chiropractor before so I was a little nervous but also excited to figure out what was going on with this pain I was experiencing. I was referred here by a coworker/friend who was a patient and spoke very highly of the doctor. Thankfully I was able to get in right away and all future appointments were easy to make. Dr. Karwowski is easy to talk to, answers all your questions and has many options for treatment. Depending on how I was feeling, we would work together to decide what may bring the most relief whether it was particular adjustments, acupuncture, cupping, physical therapy, etc. We also discussed and started a plan for functional medicine to improve my overall health via different supplements and changes to my diet. Dr. Karwowski's bedside manner is very friendly and personable. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a chiropractor who is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about overall health and well-being.

I have always been a skeptic of chiropractic care but after experiencing intense back pain from extended sitting (40+ hours week) I was left with no other real options but to give Dr. Karwowski a try at easing my pain. After 1.5 weeks (3 sessions) I started feeling significantly better, and after 6 weeks my discomfort is minimal and only experienced after prolonged sitting. Dr. Karwowski is very professional and personable. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking into a chiropractic. Her staff is also very friendly and professional. She takes her time in diagnosing problems to create a well suited physical therapy plan, and offers advice with what you can do outside of the office to prevent further injuries. She and her staff are also very personable. Going to physical therapy several times a week can be daunting, but I’m usually chatting with Dr. Karwowski about various topics throughout our sessions, which makes it more enjoyable while pushing myself to get better. Great for those looking for a consistent treatment plan personalized to their specific type of pain! Dr. Karwowski and Joanna are attentive and personable. I have experienced upper back/neck pain for 5+ years as a result of bad posture, computer habits, and probably various sports related activity too. A related pinched nerve and the resulting pain was too much to ignore and lead me to this office, which thankfully my insurance covered. After two sessions the worst pain was gone and after a couple weeks I was leaving the office feeling better than I have in a very long time - even with no pain at all! With any chiropractor my pain has tended to return to a degree after a few days, which I don't see as unusual considering how long I've had it, but with consistent treatment from Dr. Karwowski the pain has improved by multitudes since I started. I am continuing treatment because of my experience so far.

I have had poor posture and tightness is the neck for the past couple of years. I was skeptical to see a chiropractor because I was not actually in any real pain yet (more just sore and tight). I am SO glad that I decided to see Dr. Karwowski. I have been to four appointments so far and my neck has never felt better. Not only am I getting the immediate relief, but we are doing physical therapy as well to train my muscles so that I can have long term results and fix my posture now before it gets worse. If you sit at a desk all day and can feel yourself starting to hunch over, I cannot recommend seeing Dr. Karwowski enough!

I've been coming here for a bit under 2 years now I believe and am very happy with this practice. When I started coming in, I had been out of work for a few days because my lower back was so bad. I did some PT and adjustments and keeping up with stretching at home. In a short period of time, I was nearly back to normal and now ~2 years later, I am still going in for regular adjustments but I feel better for longer. Honestly there are times where I felt better than I did even before I hurt my back! Really kind staff and doctors, and results that you'll definitely feel!

Dr. Karwowski helped me understand what the issue was and helped me immediately to create a plan for improvement. What's more is that they were generous enough to make a schedule for me that accommodated a move that I was about to undergo. Each visit, I was treated and taught exercises and therapy techniques that I use at home to alleviate the pain and improve my overall condition. Now that I'm overseas for a new job, I can say with certainty that the things I miss most about Chicago are the pizza, the summers and Dr. Karwowski. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I found Dr Litwinska on zocdoc and the reviews were right. She has great bedside manner, the office is very clean and they make you feel comfortable in their space. She assessed my muscles and joints very accurately and the treatment plan has been working so well that my pain has subsided significantly within a matter of weeks. She uses a variety of methods to heal you and they truly work! I highly recommended Dr Marzena for chiropractic care, acupuncture, cupping and more!

Dr. Marzena K is VERY knowledgeable in her field and treats the entire person. As an attorney, I carry stress in my back/shoulders. I also grind my teeth (bruxism). I have been seeing her for several months now because after my first 2 visits I was (pleasantly) surprised at how well she diagnosed my symptoms, their underlying causes, and then tweaked my food/vitamin recommendations for a better quality of life. She also started me on routine acupuncture which itself has dramatically improved my health. Sidenote: she has a great bedside manner. You can tell that she has passion for this field, doesn't waste your time or money with treatments that won’t help you, and will refer you if needed. In my case - She spent time understanding the context of my stress, cared tremendously for the whole well-being, and followed up several times (free of charge) to make sure that as I, her patient, was fully satisfied, healthy both mentally and physically, and confident in the treatment(s) at the patient is receiving. Prices are very reasonable, especially for extent of treatment, so I felt like I was ripping her off. Sent several friends to her. They also love the quality and efficacy they get from her. Thank you Dr K!

I came in to see Dr. Bernier and Dr. Karwowski (Litwinkska) during my third trimester of pregnancy. I was experiencing back pain and also found out my baby was transverse (laying sideways) at my 35 week check-up. My midwife and doula both recommended that I check out a chiropractor that specializes in the Webster Technique. Since they specialize in this method at Chiropractic Physicians of Wicker Park, I decided to give it a try. I should say that I was pretty nervous at first. I had never been to a chiropractor, and I think my husband and I were both concerned it could make my back pain worse. I am so grateful I gave it a try because both of my conditions prior to seeing the chiropractors are both completely gone now. At my 37 week visit, the baby had flipped and is now in the head down position (hopefully she stays there!). My back pain is also completely gone now, something I look forward to sharing with both Dr. B and Dr. K when I see them next. I was going in to see them 3-4 times a week for a couple weeks to try to really get the baby to turn. My visits with them were super quick, where they would give me a few adjustments and then spend time teaching me positions to try at home to help open my pelvis to help the baby turn. As far as my back pain goes, I honestly thought to myself, there is no way this quick little pop, snap is going to fix my back pain! I was wrong. Within a few visits my back feels 100 percent better. I am continuing to see both chiropractors through the end of my pregnancy to maintain the work they have done, to hopefully keep the baby down, and to keep my back pain at bay. I am considering seeing them for postpartum support as well. I cannot recommend this practice enough! I love my visits with the chiropractors. They are friendly, welcoming, and very easy to chat with while you are there getting your procedures done. They explain everything in a very digestible way, and they also are extremely on top of their communication together. At first, I was surprised when they suggested scheduling my appointments with the two of them, but I am glad I did. I really think having each of them do Webster on me likely made an impact on the baby turning. I also am really impressed with how the two of them stay on top of what happens between my appointments. It always felt like they were completely in the know of where I was at and no time was wasted catching either of them up on what happened at my last appointment. They were already very well informed!

Dr. K has been the best chiropractor I have seen. We have fully gotten rid of my uncontrollable migraines by changing my diet, with vitamins, and Acupuncture. Her adjustments are never forced, and her cupping and acupuncture makes such a difference. She knows the exact points! She not only specializes in chiropractic but functional medicine, and physical therapy and much more! Her personality, and her office just make you feel so comfortable. I have been going to Dr Karwowski practice near Pulaski Park for months whenever I have issues with my back and neck. The first time I came to her practice, I almost could not walk because of lower back pain and Dr Karwowski relieved the pain during the first session and had me work through a few weeks program that completely help my lower back.
