It’s been 14 months since my knee replacement I’ve only had one month without knee pain. My daughter suggested her Chiropractor and ever since my other pain related to the knee( back and feet) had mostly left. These Chiropractor s at McKinley are first rate and first class. They respect the person and the body. As they treat you they also educate you. When you feel all is loos give them a try before giving up.

Words cannot describe how much I appreciate the doctors and staff at McKinley Chiropractic! It’s difficult to find chiropractors who actually listen to your body instead of just going in for the adjustment. The doctors take their time during the initial evaluation to ensure you receive the best care possible. I had Dr. McKinley for my initial visit and his attention to detail is incredible! Each doctors’ adjustments are tailored to your body and how it’s feeling that day/week. Follow the regime/plan they provide for you and listen to their recommendations - it really works! On the other hand, the front staff makes the process a breeze and answers any questions or concerns you may have. I personally have never met such an amazing team and look forward to continue working with them!

This office runs like a well-oiled machine! You never wait for your apt. You are in and out within 10 minutes. The staff and Drs. Are professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. After 1 month's treatment, my back and neck are feeling so much better. I'm going to start working out again! I submitted an inquiry online and received a phone call the follow morning. I spoke with Dr. Ron who was very warm, friendly and thorough during our discussion. I ended up making an appointment for my baby the same week. The minute I walked in I knew I was in the right place! Within a few minutes of waiting I observed the following: The front desk staff were very professional, warm and friendly. They also were very accommodating with booking appointments or if are running late. The doctors were amazing, all very informative and resourceful. The patients also had a relaxed/comfortable approach with the doctors. McKinley’s office is very warm and welcoming. You feel like you’re apart of the family from your very first interaction/visit! I am so glad I called and scheduled that first appointment for my baby. There has been a huge improvement with my daughter just after a few adjustments. No exaggeration - McKinley Family Chiropractic has given me a new lease on life. I have suffered from joint and back pain for years, and was fortunate enough to meet with the team there in getting clarity on what to do. Dr. Ray and everyone at McKinley Family Chiropractic are wonderful! They're professional and friendly, very knowledgeable and flexible. I've been a chiropractic patient for a long time, and so when we moved to Chicago, I was quite picky about which chiropractic office I would use. The doctors here are kind and compassionate, and they do extensive testing to determine what treatment options and schedule is best for each individual. The desk staff are bilingual and very knowledgeable about insurance and chiropractic care. Also, the office has many flexible open hours, and is great about pre scheduling and re scheduling as needed. If the 449 five-star reviews before me are not enough, then I'm not sure one more will help. But, I chose McKinley based upon these glowing reviews, and so I feel compelled to add one more. After moving to Chicago, I was in need of a new chiropractor to help with some serious shoulder and back pain thanks to too many hours on a computer and stress. I was a little nervous because I don't understand bones and it feels like a bad chiropractor can do serious damage. I really liked my first and only chiropractor, and finding a new one I loved as much seemed unlikely. After almost a year of seeing the McKinley team, I could not be happier. First, they are incredibly thorough, patient, and kind in explaining what's happening in your body and how to fix it. Second, every time I go in, no matter which chiropractor I see, Dr. Heath, Dr. Matt, and Dr. Ron, I walk out feeling better. I was initially nervous about seeing different doctors, but I love each's approach, and it's clear they know me and my particular pain points. Third, they are fast; I'm never sitting around waiting to be seen. Tell me how many other doctors you go to where you can be assured you won't have to wait. Fourth, the rest of the staff is fantastic -- so kind, welcoming, and flexible when I've been running late or need to reschedule. I feel so fortunate to have found McKinley and for how much better I feel. So, if 450 reviews is your magic number, I am here to tell you that McKinley only gets 5-stars from me because Google doesn't offer 6.

I went to Dr McKinley in mid April with serious back pain I was barely able to walk. He calmed me down walked me through the X-ray discussed the trauma of stress and the program he would take me through to bring me back to a more normalized state. I was skeptical at first I just wanted an immediate adjustment to feel better and get back to work but after the first week when he was able to get me mobile again and ready for an important trip I became a believer. At this point almost through the full 24 visit program I can honestly say no placebo he is the real deal my body feels better than it has in a long while and our discussions on self care and causes of stress and have changed how I approach personal upkeep. In addition everyone is so nice Diana, Lilly and Jackie are the best and you can see they are not only colleagues but family (well Diana and Lilly actually are but you get my point). I strongly recommend if you are having any issues chronic or otherwise please go see Dr McKinley to get your quality of life back.

From the moment I requested an appointment at McKinley Family Chiro I’ve had an amazing experience! Diana reached out to me immediately and setting up and appointment was a breeze! I’m expecting my first baby and my body was not feeling great at all. After my first few adjustments with Dr. McKinley and Dr. Ray I’ve felt significantly better. I cannot recommend the doctors at McKinley Family Chiropractic enough! I found their practice through a Facebook ad and took a chance, and I’m so glad I did. I initially went in because I was experiencing headaches and neck pain, and little did I realize just how much pain I was living with. Both the X-rays and nerve scan showed just how out of alignment I was! Dr. Ray wrote up a treatment plan and has been instrumental in helping me get my body back on track to living pain free. Not only are my headaches gone, my posture has improved, and I’m sleeping better! Even if you’re on the fence about it, go check them out. They’re friendly, informative, and invested in your wellness.

amazing! I am extremely grateful to have found McKinley Family Chiropractic. I came in with a constant pain level of 5-6. Within in one week of treatment I saw improvement. Within a few weeks I could say I had no pain. Today I would say I don't even know I have a back condition. I feel great, no pain. I remember during early treatment I woke up in morning and just got out of bed, like I was in my 20's. I was in shock. I forgot what it was like to just wake up and get out of bed with no pain I had 2 ortho doctors ( I work for in orthopedics in top rated Chicago hospital) tell me I would need to see Neurosurgeon for treatment and possible surgery. love this neighborhood chiro. Went in for my son and myself and it has helped us alot. Updated below: I have been going to McKinley Chiro for about 3 weeks now. From the first visit I knew I was in good hands. They took their time with my assessment and walked me through each step. I have started sleeping better and have felt relief throughout my body. Everyone is very caring and professional. I have brought all my children ages 4 to 15 and they have also started care here. I would highly recommend McKinley Family Chiropractic care. Update: we are 6 months into our care and the benefits continue. I had an unexpected relief from our chiropractic care: migraines. I suffer from sever migraines - no prescriptions/pain meds provided true relief. After my first 2 months I noticed they had diminished. Now I have them less frequently and when I do have them I make an appointment and can get seen right away for my migraine. These visits have improved my migraine recovery time (within a few hours instead of days). It was my first time going to see a Chiropractor, so I was a bit nervous and wasn't sure what to expect but Dr. McKinley, Dr. Ray, and their staff are very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. From the moment you walk in through the doors until the moment you leave, you are always warmly greeted and welcomed by the staff at this facility. Kudos to whoever is in charge of music because that place is always poppin’ (literally and figuratively) day or night. I am only halfway through my adjustment plan and I can already notice a difference in my posture and most definitely my pain. The discomfort is lessening after 2-3 years of me ignoring my neck/shoulder pain and I am very excited to see my results at the end. Unfortunately, this facility was not covered in my insurance but I couldn’t ignore the amount of 5 star reviews and for good reason — I’m leaving my review now. Highly recommend. I've been coming to MFC for over a year now....this is a way long overdue review. I came in because I was having lower back pain, difficulty with trying to sleep and I was having headaches at least once a week. I started their 24 visits treatment and I felt immediate and positive results the few visits. I was a little bit sore at first, but the doctors advice me that it was completely normal. I can't remember how far into the treatment the lower back pain started to slowly feel less intense which helped in getting a good sleep through the night, and the best part was that the headaches went away for good. After the treatment I've been going on a weekly basis because it feels it gives me an extra boost to get through a crazy work week. The doctors are amazing, they are constantly reminding you to drink lots of water and to keep active throughout the day, seems very basic and simple, but on a busy day you forget those very easy things to do. The front desk people are super friendly, they always welcome you with a big smile - the doctors too are very friendly! I'm really glad I found this place, totally worth it.

I have been coming to McKinley Family Chiropractic (MFC) for a month now and I'm very pleased with how much progress I have made in that short time. Confirm whether you take patient's insurance before asking them to come in. I filled out a new patient form and indicated what type of insurance I had. I got a call back and was told they could accommodate me that week. When I came got my first intro appointment, they told me they only take Blue Cross Blue Shield. Intro appointments are usually free so I decided to still get assessed. I was charged $160 for assessment and adjustment. Thankfully I can process that as out of network with my current insurer. The doctor I met with was incredibly thorough and professional, but I felt "got", nonetheless. I did find another doctor closer to me who was shocked to hear they charged me for first appointment. New customers beware, they only take BCBS.

Dr. McKinley came strongly recommended by our birth class instructor(Bradley Method). I was 31 weeks in my pregnancy when we found out that the baby was in breech position. After having only completed 5 sessions with Dr. McKinley, he was able to successfully turn our baby in the right position using the Webster Method! Even if you are just questioning whether you should go to the chiropractor, do it; not only SHOULD you do it, but you should book an appointment at McKinley Family Chiropractic. I found this place online when I was researching chiropractors to treat severe postpartum body pain and plantar fasciitis that resulted after my delivery. I tried taking medicines, went to physical therapy but nothing helped! I can't stress enough on how glad I am that I found Dr. Heath. Before going to this wonderful establishment, I was having issues with my back. The pain was starting to get so great that even my movements were limited. My performance in the gym and in basketball began to decline and I came to the realization that I needed some help. One night I went on Google looking for chiropractors. After looking at multiple different places, I came across this one. At first I thought it was a little suspicious over the fact that it was so highly rated with a large quantity of reviews. Back in the summer of 2018 I needed relief from intense back pain after having moved a piece of furniture. A friend recommended McKinley Chiropratic. I had never been to a chiropractor before but was desperate. Of course I had an idea of what it would be like. WOW! This was not what I expected. My family and I started going to McKinley Chiropractic when our daughter was 8 mo old to help with regulating bowel movements, improving immune support and maximizing overall health benefits for her as well as for ourselves. We like to take a Holistic, natural approach to our health care and with the help of Dr. McKinley and Dr. Ray, we were provided with attentive, alternative care and a wealth of information to help us make decisions with regards to our health on our own terms. We all noticed an improvement in overall sleep after our first session...my daughter slept 10 hours straight! After that we followed Dr. McKinley's plan of care for the first few months and were soon able to reach a maintenance level of care with overall positive results. My body tension declined, my daughters "food sensitivities" improved and we all had more energy. Every time we notice our daughter or myself start to get a cold we immediately go get adjusted and notice a reduced level of severity with regards to the illness and improved recovery times. I'd been experiencing horrid lower back pain throughout the start of my pregnancy. I asked my OB at my 20 week check up for possible remedies and he told me that the only chiropractor he'd trust is Dr. McKinley. I’ve been coming to Dr. McKinley and Dr. Ray for almost 2 years now and I don’t know what I’d do without them! Prior to going to McKinley Chiropractic, I had been getting adjusted for 3 years and all through my pregnancy. Right before my son was born, my chiropractor moved away, and I decided that I would just go without for a while. That was not a good idea. After over 1 year of nursing my son, I was in so much pain (thoracic nerve pain on both sides as well as other aches and pains), I couldn’t take it anymore. I was seeking help for tension in my neck and back that I'd put up with for many years - from stress, old injuries, and past traumatic events. I needed to try something different than what I was doing, which was only giving temporary relief, so I googled places in Chicago that deal with back and neck pain, but also threw in 'injury' and 'trauma' -- because the last thing I could handle was a waste of time, energy, money, and didn't want to risk feeling worse. An article they wrote about trauma-informed pain relief came up, and it clearly connected to my experience. Because I had lived with discomfort so long, I thought it was going to always be my normal -- until I did a consult with them. I was absolutely blown away at how informed their entire staff is -- from their doctors to front desk. In traditional doctor's offices, you can be treated like a number, squeezing in appointments on their time. I quickly saw they are the opposite -- fully respecting each patient as an individual and listening to their needs, with a totally customized approach and schedule that respects time, mental health, and even money. I still hadn't committed to anything as it was a free consult, and within the visit I actually got excited for the first time in a long time about the potential for consistent pain relief. They are deeply knowledgeable about anatomy, the body-brain connection, injuries, trauma, sensory processing differences... and clearly communicated to me what I was dealing with, where there is room for improvement, and with data to support in a way I could understand in a tactile way. I had been overcharged and underserved by a chiropractor years back and was hesitant to try again. Fees were totally transparent and I was presented multiple options with flexible ways to pay up front, without any pressure. When we started the adjustments (appointments), I was trying to keep an open mind but wasn't fully sold -- until I got immediate relief that has actually been sustained. The doctors are very upfront that there can be immediate relief but also plateaus during the process, but the overall level of comfort in my neck and back has been so improved, keeping steady at a lower level of pain for an entire month so far - without the aid of painkillers or anything else. My anxiety, sleep, and even digestion has been better, resulting in a major improvement in my daily life. It's really been one of the best investments I have made in over a decade. I can't recommend them highly enough if your aches and past experience aren't "cookie cutter" -- they can handle complex issues with a wealth of knowledge, experience, and genuine compassion with total respect for any concerns you may have like sensory processing differences, PTSD, and more. They truly want to help people have better lives, and I feel so lucky to have found them.

I started seeing Dr. McKinley when I was about 7 months pregnant because I was experience pain in my SI joint due to an injury. Since my husband and I had chosen to due natural birth, we wanted to eliminate any additional pain and correct the problem if at all possible. To be completely honest, I was always a little skeptical of chiropractors. I didn't understand the need to continually see one. My belief was that our bodies should be able to maintain alignment, but I quickly realized that due to stress from every day life, that simply isn't the case. I don't usually write reviews but i felt like this warranted it. A few months ago I hurt my back doing dead-lifts at the gym. For two months after that, I was in extreme pain. It hurt me to sit, stand, walk– the only thing I could do was lay down. However, after two months I gave in and went to McKinley Family Chiropractic. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Dr. McKinley was very knowledgeable and very good at explaining what was going on with my body. I noticed results after a week, the pain wasn't as bad. After two weeks, I was able to start to jog a little, and after a month I can now run the way I used to with almost no pain. On top of that, I now sleep better and have not gotten any headaches since I started treatment, which is something I would get frequently. The difference is night and day of how I feel and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I also had some pretty bad neck and back pain. The pain has gone away after regular chiropractic care. I’ve been having back and neck problems for a while now to the point of noticing my posture is bad cause I hunch over instead of sitting or walking straight but since I’ve been going here I’ve noticed a difference in my posture & relief of pain I’ve noticed my walking feels different especially for someone like me that work outside moving around and having to have my head down most of the time I don’t feel as much as pain as before I used to stretch to relieve the pain but it would hang on for a while but now the pain doesn’t even last for a day anymore. What a well run office with amazing staff. I came in October ‘18 barely able to walk because of a back injury with tears of pain rolling down my face based on a recommendation from my wife. I had never been as unstable and in as much pain as this and I had a golf trip scheduled in 10 days. Even in the condition I was in, Dr. McKinley assured me that I’d be able to go on my trip and play. While I wasn’t 100% confident, he was and I went in the trip pain free. He is a magic man and I’m continuing treatment today to prevent that awful injury from happening again. High praise to Dr. McKinley and his staff!

I've been a patient at McKinley Chiropractic since 2014. I first came here due to sciatic nerve pain. I did the recommended treatment plan they suggested and it was amazing! Dr. Ray totally saved me! During that time, Dr. McKinley holds a lot of free educational workshops. I found myself in awe at some of these and intrigued to learn more about my body. Before coming here, I would literally get sick every 3-4 months, and my colds would last WEEKS. It was awful. Dr. McKinley will educate you on your immune system, and ways to actually build it up, and do its job. I completely stopped taking over the counter medicine whenever I got sick, and let my body fight it. Since doing that, I rarely get sick anymore, and when I do, it doesn't last very long. A few good nights of sleep, water, and chicken soup, and I'm good to go. So why come back here after the treatment plan was completed? Because Dr. McKinley and Dr. Ray don't just treat back pain, they treat many other issues. My previous job got in the way of me coming regularly for a few months, but now I am on a normal schedule. I went to a Podiatrist last week because I was having such horrible heel pain. This doctor wanted to give me a cortisone shot and prescribe 1000mg ibuprofen. I declined both. I messaged Dr. M and asked for his input, and let me know he treats this as well. I came in the same night he messaged me back! On top of my awful heel pain, I have horrible insomnia, menstrual cramps, and was starting to get headaches pretty frequently. After my first adjustment in a little while, I slept amazingly! The second night? I passed out at 8:30pm. My body just needed rest, and was able to finally get it because of chiropractic adjustments. Also my stress level was an immediate change. I felt very relaxed, and able to handle stress better. My heel pain has significantly gotten better, but more importantly, my mobility in my ankle is back to normal. Just because you don't have "back" pain, doesn't mean you don't need Chiropractic care. If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, call this practice. And most importantly, if you don't want to be dependent on medications, Dr. McKinley's office will be your first and only stop.

If you looking for a stellar, skilled, and incredibly up front chiropractor then look no further than Dr. McKinley, Dr. Ray and their team. After being involved in a car accident I was feeling back pain and went to a different chiropractor first. After a few visits I just didn't feel like I jived with him (he offered me no progress plan, took no x-rays, no benchmark tests). So I looked for a new chiropractor and THANK GOODNESS I found Dr. McKinley. Right away he had me get x-rays and other muscle tests (in office). Turns out I had some serious muscle/nerve tension going on that the other doctor had either not identified or not communicated to me! I am now on a plan that Dr. McKinley discussed in detail with me and made sure that I was comfortable with it. I am feeling so much better both emotionally and physically. The plan has goals and benchmarks and planned testing so that I can actually see data as to whether I'm getting better. What a relief to have found them! I was a runner barely making 2 mile runs, pushing through pain, and riding my motorcycle for nothing more than 1 hour because of the flaring sciatica pain I had been experiencing for 5 years. How do I start? I had a really — in my opinion — severe case of neuropathy where at my peak I was just feeling like complete and utter doo-doo. I didn’t know what was happening to me. Symptoms included tingling and prickling in the chest, arms and legs. I couldn’t go through out the day without it just overpowering me and keeping me from going about my business. It only got worse at night, which caused me to fear even trying to go to bed. So, naturally I started booking appointments left and right that included getting a physical, acupuncture, chest x-rays, and blood work. I was basically told nothing was wrong with me. That it could just be “anxiety”. But, one day, like a miracle, an ad popped up on social media for the McKinley Family Chiropractic that listed what they specialize in. This included the symptoms that had been occurring to me. Once I did my consultation with Dr. Heath McKinley, I almost cried. Because he knew EXACTLY what I was going through. He almost took the words out of my mouth as he started going over what my body was experiencing. He explained the functions of the nervous system and how the body is all one big circuit. I was feeling total relief that I knew I had come to the right place. Fast forward past several appointments and body adjustments, and all I can say is I feel 95% better. I say that because I technically still have several appointments left in my 3-month adjustment plan that I am going to fulfill. However, that 95% is wayyy better than when I was at my peak state of discomfort. I have been “tingle free” the past several days now, and even before that the symptoms were dwindling. As I write this review, I’ve completed a little over a month of seeing the awesome and wise Dr. McKinley, and of course Dr. Ray, who by the way has enlightened me with his love of Star Wars while also making the adjustments to my body on days Dr. McKinley needs to spread the love to other clients. I’m in good hands either way, and I recommend McKinley Family Chiropractic if you’re in need of some proper body tuning, along with welcoming and knowledgable professionals! McKinley Family Chiropractic is the real deal. I've been to other chiropractors in the past, and I'm happy to post this positive review as my experience at McKinley has been nothing but positive. First of all, there is a large focus on data and metrics. Before any adjustments were made they did a body scan using specialized measuring devices and software to map the alignment of my spine and the flow of heat/energy. Based on that data we crafted my plan and defined my goals. A few weeks later new tests were taken. This sort of data-driven approach gives me confidence that we are working towards our stated goals and not just "doing adjustments in perpetuity". There's a clear goal and clear end in sight, and we're taking measurements to chart my improvement. There's a focus on holistic health here. Mind/body/soul. That's reflected in the way Dr. McKinley approaches his patients, the feeling of the office, their *excellent* staff, everything. The "family" part of this place is real. I bring my 1 year old along and the staff is awesome with him during my visit. They even have techniques for helping with baby's congestion, colds, and irritability. I was originally referred by a very close family friend. We were causally discussing chiropractors and she (also gave a 5 star review) raved about the amount of knowledge that the doctors at McKinley Chiropractic had. I have a young son, Aiden, with severe ADHD. I had originally gone online and researched the benefits of chiropractic care for children who had adhd and/or other developmental delays...but I could not find someone I felt I could trust with my child. But after hearing all the great reviews and upon speaking with Diana at the front desk, I decided that rather than just bringing Aiden, I would also schedule for my middle son. Upon entering the facility, you’re greeted with respect, care and enthusiasm. As we sat down to discuss the issues at hand, Dr Heath had so much knowledge. Coming up with a plan on what should be done that was both comfortable for us and effective for Aiden. Mind you, as all this is going on, Aiden is jumping all over the place..literally touching everything. But through the chaos, the doctor remained calm, not annoyed like many other places I’ve been to. Our first appointment went amazing! Aiden as well as his older brother walked in with confidence, almost as though they were visiting family. The following appointments were even better! Ever since our first appointment, Aiden asks to go to the doctor almost everyday! In total, it’s been a little bit over 2 weeks and already I’m seeing a drastic change in Aiden. Apart from better sleep, he’s more calm throughout the day or two after each adjustment. I definitely look forward to staying with the plan and hope that this is just a glimmer of what is yet to come. After going here for 4 months, I can attest that everything said about them is true! Doctors Mckinley and Ray, Valerie and Aricelis are all really wonderful people! I enjoy going to the office and getting my fix and then just chatting with them about everything else. They really make you feel like family and are very good at what they do. I feel more positive. They helped educate me on my body, lose weight with the detox, regulate my menstrual cycle my pain decreased a lot, I was told in high school I had asthma and bronchitis I would always be sick for weeks and constantly getting asthma attacks and none of that has happened since I started getting adjusted. The entire team was thorough and very organized. Dr. McKinley and Dr. Rey worked in tandem to correct an auto accident related injury and I felt comfortable communicating with both practitioners over the course of the treatment plan to achieve optimal results. When I asked for stretches at home, I was emailed videos of detailed exercises I could do in between visits to help provide relief. They encouraged me along the way to take care of other aspects of my health as well, which I appreciated. Normally I'm the one who reads reviews, not writes one. But I'm hoping that this reaches someone like me. Someone who puts their problems to the side to "deal with it later". I have been dealing with back issues for YEARS. I have OK days and then theres really horrible days. Days where I can barely walk straight or even show up to work. Even if you don't understand how a chiropractor works. The team at Mckinley's are wonderful at answering all of your questions. As soon as you walk in, the girls at front desk are there to help. And that's where your healing starts. Insomnia, bloating, anxiety,panic attacks, fibromyalgia and heart palpitations. These symptoms are just a taste of what I suffered with for a long time. Now, don't expect a miracle on your first day of treatment. It takes serious work that includes a consistent diet, physical activity, going to bed on time, etc. Even the little things can impact your health and determine how fast you recover. I fall from the stairs and since then I got problem with my ankle. Probably bad sprain from the fall. I was not able to tolerate uneven surfaces or elevated shoes, I cannot lift my heel coz its weak and limitation with running. I tried 3 reputable doctors in different specialties and have tried XRAY, MRI, steroid injection and 50 sessions of physical therapy. However, I didnt find any relief from my ankle. The last orthopaedic doctor asked me to go for second opinion and recommend me to an orthosurgeon to see if they could help me. I had a consultation and seems he gonna try again steroid injection in my ankle again. Or probably surgery to clean bone debris that is causing pain. So that means the doctor will explore the cause of the lingering pain in my ankle that I am bearing almost 1year now and no straight answer to my condition. But all doctors I’ve seen has same process of exploring and doing conservative approaches and I am thought I am just wasting my insurance and available therapy session priviledges with temporary results then pain will come back occassionally. I am tired of searching relief... I almost given up and managed to just tolerate the pain in my ankle. One day, I decided to give another try, so I search alternative medicine in google if there are therapy for sprained and injured ankle. The first I saw was MCKINLEY FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC then I looked around near my area but the reviews from McKinley Family Chiropractic was 5 star. I never tried Chiropractic before and was so frightened to try to adjust my spine. I wanna make sure that I will be in good hands and since it was far from my home with 19miles to travel... I give it a try. Thanks for the reviews of previous clients that makes my decision firm. So over the phone I think his name was Phil, he is sooo patient with me..I got lots of inquiry and he is so professional and caring to help me. Then I met Dr. Heath he was so knowledgeable and explain everything about my condition. He is also compassionate, kind and willing to help me holistically from head to toe. So that gives me confidence and assurance that he knows what he is doing and he is confidence that he can fix my ankle. So my first session, I was so amazed because I felt the circulation flows in my leg and ankle..that was really amazing! and I was recommended to try not to have my ankle brace, I was really hesitant coz that is my trusted possession to support my ankle. So I try Dr Heath recommendation. And to my surprise, WOW! I can now live without my braces, no pain, i can walk in uneven surfaces... thats my 1st session... I am so happy and amazed in my progress. Then Dr. Jeremy also worked with my ankle and he knows the exact spot to adjust where my ankle causes pain. So all of them are PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE and KIND. I am so happy I find this place. You walk into this place feeling fatigued, broken and in pain, and walk out a brand-new person. I've been getting adjustments here for about 3 months and i feel like my life's improved significantly. Before i discovered this amazing group of people, i struggled with essential, every -day activities. I couldn't sit at my desk at work for longer than an hour, I couldn't sleep through the night or exercise, and only after a month of seeing Dr. McKinley and Dr. Ray, I was able to do all these things without a problem. I've been to many chiropractors in the Chicagoland area over the past 10 years and I can say without any hesitation that these guys are the best this city has to offer. McKinley Family Center Less than three months ago, I woke one morning in serious back pain. Getting out of bed was a torture. I found I could sit – on our couch, in the car – only slowly, and never without doing so as if in slow motion, grimacing from the pain all the way. Getting into bed was as difficult as getting out. I had to drop out of my Pilates classes. Life was nearly impossible My primary-care physician suggested I try chiropracty, which I did. I chose the McKinley Family Center because of its impressive presentation on the Internet and the reviews it received from former (many, I gather, still current) patients. I found a radical reduction in my back pain almost immediately at the McKinley Center. I began by coming in three times a week for adjustments administered by either Dr. McKinley or Dr. Ray. I was at first surprised by the briefness of the sessions. At the end of my first week, the radical pain had departed. Four weeks into my therapy, my first scan showed signs of serious improvement. More improvement was discovered after my second scan – this taken at the end of six weeks of two sessions a week. After less than three months, I am now down to a single weekly visit at McKinley. Such back pain as I occasionally have, all of it fleeting, is nowhere what it initially was. Drs. McKinley and Ray have immensely imroved my life, and I would, without hesitation, recommend their services to anyone I know who has back problems.

When I first came in I had some long term misalignments and those took about 24 visits, but I felt much better after the 2nd or 3rd visit. Guys, I was in major lower back pain. No yoga and stretching wasn't helping. Im a Tennis Pro so my job requires hours and hours of running and standing on the hard court feeding and playing with my clients. At one point i had to start putting tennis balls under my heels because pain was progressing to worse that i wasnt able to stand on my feet at all. At that time I met Dr. Heath McKinley and i told him my problem. After first assestment at his clinic results werent so good. I have had back surgery 8 years ago, as well as still a herniated disc and deal with chronic low back pain that left me unable to sleep comfortably, unable to stand/walk for long periods of time and just a lackluster quality of life, just in the last month I have gotten so much better where I feel like I will finally get some relief And that’s not the best part! Last year I had 3 sinus surgeries, and was left with no sense of smell at all as well as my taste being off. When the staff did my initial testing at McKinley’s he showed me where the nerves for the senses of smell and taste are and stated that he believed he can help me regain some of that, and to be honest I was like yeah, ok sure.. I haven’t had sense of smell in over a year and nothing is going to bring that back… I’m happy to say I was wrong! Last week after only been going for adjustments for 3 weeks I was able to pick up on smells for the first time and I know as I continue to get worked on and properly inline that it will just improve. Every 3 month for about a year and a half I have gone to my ENT to have my sinus check and cleared and get a steroid shot which “helped” me breathe and the sinus to drain. Well, the Docs have been helping with that too and have adjusted my face (yes that’s weird but it works) and I have seen huge relief in the congestion as well. My next ENT appointment is tomorrow, and I will be declining the steroid shot! Some people reading this may be like “yeah right” well I challenge you go come in for a visit, I have had multiple surgeries and chiropractors but I honestly feel like this is the first time my issues are not just having a band aid put on, they are getting to the root of my issues and getting my body back where it needs to be to heal and for that I’m thankful.
