My experience over the last two weeks has been superb. They listen to the individual. They explain how the body works and how their chiropractic approach works. And then, candidly, their approach works. I went from very severe pain due to martial arts over-training (among other ailments) to very positive recovery. Oh, and the people are very loving, caring, and very-nice human beings! At the minimum speak to them for free!

I have only been to Reema a few times for a difficult diagnosis. Because I was married to a Chiropractor and have have extensive experience with and in the field, I'm skeptical of healing through this method. It has been a great maintenance tool for decades of spine related challenges as well as acute and chronic illness. Immediately I sensed that Reema is different. That perhaps she really is a gifted and wise physician. She seems to intrinsically care. Juliana is kind and professional. I'm thankful to be in their care during such a hard time. I will review again as I move through my treatment program. You will find that I'm very honest. 2/13/23 After 6 out of the 12 treatments I had to stop and get a refund because my symptoms began to get worse. I have since gone to my prior chiropractor and started feeling better. I've also been to a Spine MD who is not convinced of the diagnosis Reema gave me. So I am getting a follow up MRI to verify. In the meantime because of the alarming diagnosis I received from Reema I have stopped any type of jarring exercises that could further injure me. I will continue this review.

I came to this practice with very little experience in chiropractic care, a lot of pain, and doctors suggesting I meet with a spinal surgeon to correct some neck issues (that didn’t necessarily need surgery or pain meds- just a little work). Suffering a strained muscle and a pinched nerve, I came here seeking help and adjustment for my recovery. Dr Fortini and Juliana were very helpful in listening and addressing all of my concerns. Before my first visit, I had very limited range of motion and sharp pain throughout my body. One week later after two adjustments, I can move my neck and arms freely with no pain. The treatment works and is loads better than any medication I was prescribed to mask the pain. My husband and I have been going to Merrimon Family Chiropractic for approximately five months now. I attend Asheville Community Yoga and am very happy that Merrimon Family Chiropractic was there giving spinal evaluations so that I became aware of them. I had my x-rays and started treatment in April. I felt so much better right from the very beginning, and had my husband start there as well. I am a senior and had been diagnosed with a degenerate hip. The idea of surgery is a non idea to me. However, at times walking without pain was not easy. Not only did Merrimon Family Chiropractic concentrate on my spinal and neck adjustments, but they have adjusted my hip so that I rarely have pain now when walking. My husband tends to overwork on our property, and as a result suffers from back pain. Particularly, Dr. Ben has been working with him, and helping him feel better. They are a great group of individuals, and make it truly enjoyable to attend. The doctors at Merrimon Family Chiropractic are a very caring group who seem truly interested in having you feel the best possible. I am very happy that I started treatment with them, and intend to maintain treatments and maintenance in order to feel the best I can at all times.

Realigned and Revived I came in with knots, kinks, and some parts of my body just refusing to speak to others. After a friendly greeting and a short wait, I got a good brief massage, a thorough "reading" of my body's condition, and a wonderful adjustment ... I have been a patient of Dr. Martin’s for six months. I suffer from fibromyalgia and arthritis and have constant pain, inflammation and stiffness. I have a targeting massage before each visit which has been beneficial to me. It relaxes the muscles so I can get an adjustment. She uses a different type of technique that is not as painful. Dr. Martin listens if you are having a bad day and adjusts your treatment. They use X-rays to actually target your problems. I will never be pain free but it has offered some relief, even it it’s temporary. The staff is wonderful, well educated, and caring. It is a comfortable, upbeat atmosphere, and they give a lot of encouragement.

I look forward to coming in and seeing Dr. Ben for my visits instead of dreading them. Just a few weeks after I started coming and feeling better, I hurt my knee(pending surgery) and quit coming because I couldn't get on and off the table. The office staff called to check on me and in our conversation told me they had a bed that raises up then lays you down for treatment. "I first sought Chiropractic Care in Brandon, MS in 2009 for a problem that had plagued me for several years. Steroid injections, anti-inflammatories, and physical therapy gave temporary relief but nothing actually corrected the problem. Prior to coming to this place I experienced chronic back pain and muscle spasms due to a server accident a couple years back. Overall, I am a very healthy, active, balanced person and sought to heal the areas that were out of balance. I am very happy I stumbled into this chiropractor. All the people here are super friendly, always smiling, and helpful. The adjustments serve the body well. Within my time span here I went from my initial 10 degrees angle (this is the angle that the neck needs to be to allow maximum amount of flow to the rest of the body through the spinal cord) to 17 degrees to now 21 degrees. I need to be at 33 degrees. I'm pleased to see the progress and I can feel a TREMENDOUS difference in my back and posture. Keep up the good work!

My 2 children and I are receiving chiropractic care and are extremely happy with the results!! Every doctor and staff member has made their experience welcoming and loving. Both sons are currently active in Tae Kwon Do, Bike Club, and Baseball which has resulted in several months of chronic neck and back pain. After the first treatment they had immediate relief and have been better athletes, have been able to have a good nights rest, and have had more energy during the day at school! I have also been treating for neck and back pain with chronic headaches. I have improvement in all areas and have been greatful that I do not have to medically manage my pain but use natural methods.

Dr Fortini's orientation on my first visit really helped me let go of the angst I held because of past bad chiropractic care in the past. After only 6 visits, I'm no longer having pain in my right hip from years of drumset playing, experiencing more flexibility in my kneck, and generally feeling more energized. Dr. Craig worked wonders on my neck, back and jaw within months of starting a treatment plan. Since a bad experience in college, I've always been suspicious of chiropractors of being out to take my money for unnecessarily frequent office visits. I was an as-needed patient converted to a regular care plan, and it's been worth the investment. I felt like Dr. Craig spent extra time and care making sure that I was correctly aligned and he addressed all my concerns. I'm also a severe TMJ patient who had relapsed into painful jaw-popping, and the issue has subsided to the point where I rarely think about it. Their front desk staff is terrific. Unfortunately Dr. Craig had heart trouble and doesn't work there anymore, but the other Drs. offer good care at a fairly reasonable price if you don't have insurance coverage like me.

I came to Merrimon Chiropractic with back pain that had not gotten much better after doing 4 months of physical therapy and having had two epidural block injections. I have had to live in pain for years because of fibromyalgia and I had watched my quality of life continue to decline. I was at the point of giving up on ever doing more than just getting through the day. I was a tough patient because I felt like they would just be one more place to check off my list of things I had tried. I was given a very honest and up front report from Dr. Fortini and Dr. Ben, they told me that while they could not "cure" me, they could certainly help with my pain! Within just a few weeks I could feel improvement not only in my back but in other areas as well!! I have been more active than I have been in years! They were right, they didnt cure me, what they did do was give me back a life of being able to hold and play with my grandchildren, go out with family and friends, take a walk around the lake....yes, I still have times of pain, but I know that all I have to do is pick up the phone and they will do everything within their power to help me through it!!

I hobbled into Merrimon Family Chiropractic a couple of weeks ago seeking help for the extreme amount of back pain I was experiencing. The folks at MFC were super welcoming and helpful. They talked to me and took x-rays right off the bat to figure out if and how they actually could be of service to me.The x-rays revealed, not to my surprise, that my spine and pelvic bone are totally wonky. We set into motion an 18 week session of therapy to help repair what I am hoping is not irreparable damage. I am in my last week of intensive three days a week therapy that has consisted of site-specific adjustments, massage, and early on, electrotherapy, to help ease the pain. After this week, I will go to once a week for a while, then once a month. I was incapacitated and miserable for three days before visiting MFC. I have their super friendly, welcoming and professional doctors and staff to thank for helping me discover this culmination of years worth of damage to my spine and getting me back on my realigned feet again. Thanks MFC for not only getting me back to my life, but helping me to improve it hugely!

Before receiving treatment at MFC, I was experiencing chronic pain in my hip and it had gotten to the point where it was hindering my ability to complete simple daily functions. I saw Dr. Craig three times per week for a month and in that time, I found that I was able to walk, sleep and function without chronic pain. After the first month and reducing to two visists per week, I found that the pain was almost non-existant. I am so grateful for the kindness and professionalism demonstrated by the folks at MFC. I feel like my needs were adressed and preferences heard when I first came and ever since. A whole new level of chiropractics! Dr. Fortini is at the top of his field and it shows in his work. Since my first visit about two months ago, the curvature of my spine has corrected over 10 degrees (it's visible on an x-ray!), I've cut my anti-anxiety meds in half and completely ceased my sleeping medication, my posture has improved, and my pain levels have dropped dramatically. It is absolutely astonishing. Dr. Fortini provides an excellent education on the many crucial functions of the spine, as well as nutrition and lifestyle changes I can make to improve my overall health. I came into the office wtih back pain. I'd seen two other dr.'s in different medical fields and neither could help me. Dr. Fortini took xrays and discussed that part of my problem was not Chiroprctic related and referred me back to my primary care physician (whom I started with when I started having the pain). After they performed more tests they concluded that Dr. Fortini was correct and my problem was not only a kidney stone but a kidney stone the size of a gumball that was blocking my right kidney and my kidney was dying. I had emergency surgery 3 days later. I am so thankful for 1. a Dr. who listened to me and helped me find the root to my pain and 2. cared enough that he referred the part of my problem that wasn't in his field back to the correct area. This office is definately 5 Star when it comes to educating and caring for their patients.

Dr. Reema is a skilled, compassionate, and intuative doctor. She has provided me life altering care. At the age of 20 I slipped 3 discs in my lumbar. I was informed that I had degenrative discs, and that my condition would worsen over my lifetime. I could only look forward to spinal surgeries and limited mobility as I aged. At the age of 29, thanks to chiropractic care from Dr. Reema, I measure a half inch taller than I did at age 25. I own and operate successful junk hauling business. I enjoy a life of health, strength, and mobility. When I do experience back pain a visit to the office ensures a recovery time of days, not weeks. I am no longer taking prescription muscle relaxers and I have no plans for surgeries. External medicine is very underrated. I am so grateful for her help.
