We loved our experience at One Love. My son (11 yo) hurt his neck rough housing with friends. For weeks after he would constantly move his head/neck trying to make it feel better. After several weeks we decided to come see Dr. Derek. We saw him for our initial appointment and he set a plan. After 2 visits my son stopped constantly trying to self adjust his neck. After a month or so he was completely back to himself, playing ball and running everywhere he goes. Not only was Dr. Derek great, the office staff are excellent, friendly and very flexible when scheduling.

Dr. M is phenomenal!! I am so very thankful I have found her and this place. After years of trying Chiropractors and not feeling comfortable, I basically was just okay with the pain… she has been a saving grace. Not only is she great at what she does, but you can also tell that she loves it and her clients. She came up with a clear course of action to help me and I’m already feeling the positive results. I highly recommend Dr. M and One Love Chiro. The admin is staff is also fanatically amazing!!!

Dr Derek was recommended to me by the end of my first pregnancy as a Webster certified chiropractor. He helped alleviate aches and pains of my third trimester. After I had a baby, our entire family started getting adjustments at OLC. It helped us all to stay healthy. During this time dr. Derek has been the only doctor that we needed. Now, that I am pregnant with our second baby, I feel better than the first time around, even though I am even an older mom now. I experience less heartburn, less aches and pains, I am better able to handle my daily chores while keeping up with a toddler. I absolutely love One Love! The office is clean and welcoming. The front desk receptionist was incredibly friendly and informative. Dr. Derek is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and explained everything he was doing while using images to show me how my posture was and how it related to my pain. I first saw him while 30 weeks pregnant and in so much low back pain that I could hardly function. After the first appointment, my pain went from an 8/10 to a 5/10 the first day, then a 2/10 by the second day post adjustment. I returned a week later and after that appointment my pain completely vanished. I will definitely be returning soon as my body continue to adjusts with pregnancy! Thank you everyone at One Love for making this magical time feel great!

I felt welcome and at ease immediately upon arriving to One Love Chiropractic! I am over 41 weeks pregnant and was simply hoping to utilize chiropractic care as recommended by my midwife to help the baby get into a better position to encourage labor. I paid cash pay without using my insurance and was immediately given a price for the service which is always refreshing. Other chiropractic offices were unable to give me a price without a consultation which was frustrating. Additionally, other offices were very pushy wanting me to consider monthly chiropractic care. I've lost count of how many times I've had to explain that I do not want to take on any extra monthly expenses. One office kept insisting that they will work with your budget and what you can afford, and I kept repeating that I do not have a budget for monthly chiropractic at all because I don't want to take on any monthly expenses at all... I'm not sure why that's so hard to understand, but nevertheless... it was very refreshing that I didn't have to explain that even once at One Love Chiropractic. I paid money for a service, simple and transparent, and I received excellent service from a friendly and welcoming staff!

Dr. Derek has been my healing savior after a fall down the stairs and a broken vertebra. After orthopedic evaluation, and MRIs, my fracture was missed. Dr. Derek localized my pain, took different x/rays, directed me to get another MRI, which revealed the real problem. He treated me CAREFULLY, DELICATELY at first, as he was afraid to hurt me further. As time passed and healing occurred over months, he gradually did more for me as I could tolerate treatment. I would not be pain free and enjoying my life as I am without his intuition, knowledge, caring and expertise. Dr Derek and Jenny are amazing!! I can’t recommend One Love for prenatal, postnatal and infant chiropractic care enough. My one month old had persistent congestion in one eye that warm compresses and milk weren’t helping. The morning after her first adjustment her eye was completely clear and free of green gunk. Dr Derek’s work was a component of my prenatal self care routine that I believe helped things go smoothly for my unmedicated natural birth and continue to help us feel our best! WOW!!! Dr. Derek and Jenny are fabulous! I can’t put into words how amazing our experience with them has been! My son(Luca) spent 2 weeks in the NICU due to pneumonia caused by Meconium aspiration. His respiratory doctor in the NICU told us about Dr. Derek as did friends and family. Our first visit I was EXTREMELY hesitant and on edge about my 3 month old being adjusted, but the second Dr. Derek walked into the room my son lit up and was smiling and never once seemed uncomfortable. Dr. Derek explained every step and every move he made. After my sons 1st adjustment he slept almost 4 hours straight (very rare) and then slept all through that night only waking up once for his meal.( extremely rare for him). I myself struggled from FULL body pain due to serving in the military and working EMS. I have visited multiple chiropractors and have never received the treatment or relief Dr. Derek offers. Now our WHOLE family sees Dr. Derek twice a week. Myself, my fiancé, Luca and Luca’s Grandparents! We have turned it into a family outing of sorts!:) I highly recommend Dr. Derek. Jenny is phenomenal as well! She even held and cared for Luca during our adjustment when no one else could hold him! If I could give 10 stars I would!

When our daughter was 2.5 months old, we noticed that she almost always looked to the right and avoided looking to the left. She could hold her head up high and strong when looking to the right, but her head drooped when she moved it to the left. Dr. Derek and his family are amazing people to begin with. They sincerely care for you and your family. I have learned so much from Dr. Derek and his wife Casey. I met them as neighbors and they were just as sweet as could be, well I had been in an accident about 5years ago that has left me with severe neck and upper back pain, on top of already having pain I became pregnant in Jan 2015 that started causing horrible sciatica pain, so I was talking to Dr. Derek about this and he suggested I come see him. I decided this way a great time to make sure my body was ready for a healthy delivery and it was by far one of the best decisions I made. All my head aches started diminishing and after the 3rd or so visit my sciatica pain that had been causing my whole body to lock up at work started becoming fewer and fewer everyday after the 5th or so visit it had diminished completely, I noticed 3 weeks had gone by I hadn't locked up at work once. Not only did all this uncomfortable pain go away but I started remembering things better and more clearly. I just felt better all over physically, and mentally! I love the environment and the vibe of everyone at One Love. Its so comfortable I always have a hot tea and banana while waiting to see the Doc who greets me with a hug. This is how our Chiropractic story began… A friend wanted me to come with her to a talk her chiropractor was doing on positive thinking. She thought it really aligned with the way I think already. We also had an appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist the next week to discuss putting tubes in my son’s ears. My friend obviously had another plan for me to attend that night and it was to meet Dr. Derek. I will be eternally grateful to her for this, because that night changed our lives. My son Parker had ear infections for six months straight starting at the age of 1 and was given seven antibiotics to “cure” them. Every time we went for an appointment at the pediatrician, it was the only recommendation given. I know what overuse of antibiotics can do and it was heartbreaking to fill those prescriptions. We saw no relief, he was still in pain and nighttime was pure misery for him and our entire family. We saw no change and Parker continued to have fevers, a runny nose, ear pain, limited vocabulary and side effects from all the antibiotics. Overall, he was irritable most of the time and started to have equilibrium problems and bumped into everything. He was very unhappy and our delightful child was in a state of chaos. After two visits of seeing Dr. Derek, Parker already started to see relief and so did mom and dad. We were given many options to help him get well including adjustments, introducing supplements, decreasing dairy and many others. Parker’s body was healing itself with the guidance of optimal care. He started sleeping through the night again, stopped bumping into things, his vocabulary increased tremendously and all of his “sick” symptoms were gone. He was back to being our delightful child. He has gotten regular monthly adjustments from Dr. Derek for the past four years and has been ear infection free. He is a miracle to us every day and continues to be healthy and happy thanks to Dr. Derek. From the moment I met Dr. Derek, I knew we were in the right place. For the last year or so, One Love has been such a place of positive change and healing in my own life. Dr. Derek Kasten is a masterful Chiropractor and a wonderful healer. When I first started receiving care at One Love, I had been suffering from chronic migraines and horrible back pain for as long as I could remember. We are believers. Let me tell you my story. Before kids and long before marriage I started experiencing a popping in my sternum. At first the pop felt great while practicing yoga or when I needed to open up my chest. A quick pop was ahhh-mazing. Time went by. Marriage happened and then babies were born. I was blessed with the opportunity to breastfeed and stay at home with both of my babies. But breastfeeding was difficult. That pop that had once felt great felt now like a knife jabbing into my chest. It caused alot of issues for me. I dreaded breastfeeding..and becoming engorged was dreadful, not only was I prone to getting mastitis but my sternum would burn and an achy pain would set in. I had sought out help for my pain but the available solutions just never seemed to help. Until I experienced my first adjustment at One Love Chiropractic with Dr. Derek Kasten. He analyzed the issue and found that my spine was out of whack, causing my ribs to pop and found that my sternum was also affected because of misalignment and subluxation (call him and ask what THAT is). And I kid you not, after one adjustment Derek was able to give me the relief I have been searching for the past 3 years. You need to go see him! He also takes care of our kiddos! He's amazing. I started coming here about 6 months ago. Dr. D has been super knowledgeable and helpful working with my very erratic schedule. He has helped me to create a treatment plan that will help my symptoms and fits my schedule. In the first appointment he does an assessment of posture and your complaints. There is also always organic fruit and tea in the office which helps to further add to the warm ambiance. He also incorporates his chiropractic practice into a greater whole health living with suggestions about eating and overall stress. Oh and if you have children there's an area dedicated to them with toys and books.

Our daughter saw Dr.Derek after four days of intense ear pain and fever. The office was comfortable and the staff warm and welcoming. I can not thank Dr Derek Kasten and Jerianne enough for the progress they have helped me accomplish. After attending 11 different facilities and over 30 physicians, I was getting nowhere but spending money on irrelevant diagnoses. I was suffering from a series of serious and complex neurological problems that affected my sight, balance, memory (forgetting how to spell my name), speech, walking and more. I was in the military and did a very high ops tempo job, doing fast rope, sky diving, scuba, multiple combat deployments and more. Some of these problems I had since 2004, but were mostly ignored by military and VA docs. 2014 I started a rapid decline. I could not work, sleep in a bed, read, driving was sometimes not possible, bending over, using my neck or left arm was near impossible without severe neurological consequences. I had some friends get me in the right direction and I consulted Dr Derek. We had a detailed discussions of my issues. Instead of figuring out the complex, we started simple to fix the complex. I am impressed with his knowledge of the neurological system and how even simple things can cause acute complications. I started in May, now November I can sleep in a bed and longer than 4 hours, drive without using an arm sling, walk better, think better, I could go on for pages. Also at a much less cost than l spent with all the other professionals I saw. I went from being an athletic beast to almost bedridden, to getting back living again and enjoying life. Very kind, and takes time with patients, but I have a hard time because the appt time is usually 45 minutes because they are usually backed up. I have been coming for about 40 visits or so now and only had about 3 visits where I got in at my appt time to see Dr. Kasten. I love the way I feel and that he takes time with me, but it is give and take. Average wait time is 25 minutes. If you want a doctor like that make sure you clear 45 minutes to an hour out of your day for your appointment.
