Impressed at all levels of care. I have worked with many chiropractors over the last 30 years and Dr Monitto is at top of list. He puts allot of time into evaluation before adjustment and educates patient pre and post adjustment to make good choices with emphasis on recovery vs quick relief. I would say comprehensive and professional are fitting descriptions of my experience with Dr Monitto!

Dr. Monitto is very passionate about what he does. I came into his office with severe forward head posture and after 6 weeks the results are almost unbelievable. Been going to chiropractors for over 30 years. Have 3 herniated discs caused earlier in life. Met & made lifetime frieds with a few Dr's Dr.Monnitto is by far the best I've ever come across. Looked for Hammer Therapy in the US & only 2 does it in the states. I went to Dr Monitto for 1 session & I've been pain free from my lower & mid back for over 4 days now! Also took 2 of my son's & they felt immense relief of different areas where they had discomforts. Ask for the Y-strap neck adjustment, most will feel an instant decompression of the spine!! After being hit by a car while riding my bicycle; I needed chiropractic. It’s hard to explain chiropractic; but Monitto does it with such simplicity. As a bodyworker myself; I find certain therapies to be intrinsic and Dr. Monitto has an approach that feels classic and timeless all together. His adjustments and routines are unlink other chiropractors’ I’ve encountered and I find his ability to bring the body back to a balanced state of homeostasis quite fascinating since he focuses on forward head posture, cervical decompression (with the y-strap) and lower lumbar correction amongst the many other techniques he has. He was able to take me same day, as an out of towner knowing I would not be a consistent patient. I was in such severe pain I was happy for any relief. Dr Monitto was amazing! I have been going to chiropractors since 1983. Dr. Paul Monitto is the best Chiropractor I have ever been to. He is very thorough. The first visit he took X-rays and explained my issues, comparing my out of alinement back to a known good back. Then he explained how he was going to adjust my back to fix my problems. He also gave me exercises to do between visits. Since I started working with Dr. Monitto my back has not felt this good in 20 years. He also does a Y-STRAP Adjustment. Make sure you ask him about it. The Y-STRAP adjustment is AWESOME!!!!!!

I woke up on a Monday and noticed I must have slept wrong and had immense neck/shoulder pain. I thought it would go away and by Sunday I couldn’t take it anymore. I called multiple offices and Dr. Monitto answered and informed me he was open (I felt bad it was closing time but he still made time for a new patient!). He performed the Y-strap treatment and other adjustments after a detailed review of some X-rays and my range of motion. After Sunday I was feeling a lot better and he had instructed me to return Tuesday to do any final adjustments that may be needed. Again we did the Y-strap and other adjustments and I feel WAY better. So glad he was available to see me and fit me in on such short notices!

I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate Dr. Monitto. He has succeeded in relieving pain where others have not. I had some chronic issues was struggling from an accident before his help - closest thing to a miracle worker! He’s great with scheduling as well. Highly recommend Dr. Monitto! I was on a trip and passing through Asheville when I woke up one morning with extreme back pain that got worse throughout the day and I was having difficulty standing up straight and walking. We gave Dr. Monitto’s office a call (office staff very friendly and helpful) and they were able to get me in right away! Dr. Monitto was very friendly, efficient and explained all that he was doing in a way that I could understand. Left with my back feeling much better and Dr. Monitto also identified/addressed some other issues with my posture/alignment that I wasn’t even aware of. Wouldn’t have been able to continue on my trip without Dr. Monitto’s services and their flexibility to get me in quickly! I’ve been to many chiropractors, and I feel I’ve found a good fit with Dr. Monitto. His practice is comfortable, and as a practitioner he is knowledgeable and confident, but from a place of experience and not arrogance. This was important to me in building trust for the Y-strap adjustment which I was nervous about, and have now received three times. I expected immediate relief and ‘side effects’ but I have been surprised at how the longer term effects have played out since these adjustments. Immediately after the first, I experience a rush of various hormones and endorphins, I felt my jaw become sore from releasing tension, and I even felt my nasal airways open, which as an allergy sufferer was fantastic. I followed his advice and drank a ton of water to flush out the now released toxins, and after that day I could see how had I not done this I could’ve experienced a headache or nausea. More importantly, since the adjustments began I have felt my posture improve, my balance and pain in extremities improve, I feel stronger and more awake and less burdened by pain overall. This has allowed me to get back into productive habits like walking and stretching with greater frequency. I was nervous about the adjustment, but after feeling it I think how has my neck not been decompressed like this for 25 Years? For those who are much older than me, I’m sure this feeling and the relief will be that much greater. Happy to have found Dr. Monitto.

I would get comments that I looked like I was limping. I just assumed one of my legs was longer than the other. I also have scoliosis so I wasn't sure if anything could be done. So I finally got the courage to go try a chiropractor. I found Monitto Chiropractic because it was close to my work. Dr. Monitto found that just my hips were out of alignment and my legs were actually the same length. He also found I had forward head posture. A month ago I hobbled into Monitto Chiropractic. I couldn't stand up straight (I had a pinched somethingorother). A friend recommend Dr. Monitto to me. After about a week I could start moving easier and without excruciating pain. I was given instructions on making some environmental changes and doing regular physical therapy at home. Paul did x-rays on my husband's back in 2001 found out that he had a ruptured disc in his neck wouldn't touch him as far as an adjustment before those X-rays and then, of course , had to wait!! Dr. Monitto was an absolute lifesaver! My wife and I were visiting the Asheville area to check it out as we are considering a move, and our second evening there, I threw my back out pretty badly. Dr. Monitt's office was just down the street from where we were staying and so I gave him a call the next morning. He got me in quickly and adjusted/tweaked what he could to get me at least able to get around a small bit, and then had a follow up the next day once the swelling was down a bit to finish the job and get me back right. I had hurt my hip flexor during a bike ride and was in a lot of pain, to the point where I couldn't bear weight on my leg. Dr. Monitto got me in within a couple hours of calling and treated me on the 4th of July. He worked with me for 90 minutes, applying his vast knowledge of chiropractic, muscle release technique, and cold laser to begin opening up my hip. By the next morning, my hip was much improved, and another session the following day put me on the path to recovery. Dr. Monitto is thoughtful, experienced, strategic, informative, and kind. And his therapy dog J.R. is so sweet! I just wish I lived in Asheville full-time; he would be my go-to chiropractor. Highly recommended.

I never took chiropractic very seriously until my doctor suggested that I see a chiropractor to help with restless leg syndrome and recommended Dr. Paul Monitto. Magic. After only a few visits the symptoms reduced and eventually disappeared. Equally successful treatments for lower back pain caused by my hunched shoulders and “forward head carry”. I have know paul and been under his care for the past 8 years. Awesome experience! I’ve been coming since Sept of 2020 and originally came for correction of my Forward Head Posture with the Y Strap. After 12 weeks my FHP was reduced from 60mm to 40mm. Another 12 weeks brought an additional 20mm reduction! I’ve also gotten more range of motion in both shoulders, turned my lats back ON, reduced my hip rotation and found more strength over all. All of this in an incredibly fun environment. I mean, you gotta see the tables y’all!! And the staff is excellent and personable. We laugh every week we go in and come out feeing on top of the world. Dr Monitto was truly amazing and great with patient care and concern. I study my doctor before they study me. I was surprised at the level of professionalism and high desire to correct me!! I’m suffering with scoliosis for 20+ years and I’ve worked with over half dozen chiropractors hoping I found the right one. When I found Dr Monitto, I emailed him directly and immediately he requested I send to him my records. He promised to fix me so I flew from Tampa Bay, FL to Charlotte, NC, rented a car and drove to see Dr Monitto in Asheville praying his Y-strap adjustment will be the missing piece of the puzzle to correct me. In one visit I received remarkable results; my arms and legs are almost even in length, my hips and shoulders are near even in height, and I feel like a teenager all over again. The Y-strap adjustment made a huge difference and was well worth my trip up from Florida!! I will be returning to Dr Monitto as he recommended until I’m as good as I can be without surgery. My greatest fear of surgery on the spine is no longer a concern nor topic. I’m feel comforted and could not have asked for a better experience nor outcome. I will be bragging about this to everyone that’s how happy I am to not feel the aches and pains I’ve felt every second of every minute of everyday over 20years. I’ve since left the Asheville area, but during my time there Dr. Monitto learned my body and “fixed” me. Even though I’m unable to be his patient due to relocation, when I recently developed new aches and pains, I left him a message asking for help. He kindly called me back after hours. Based on his professional expertise and his understanding of my body dynamics, he walked me through stretches and exercises to practice, which corrected the condition. Dr Monitto and Lisa were perfect! I called and spoke to both of them. They came up with a plan and I made the 8 hr trip from Maryland. This place is one of the few that do the y strap spinal decompression. The ystrap combined with the years of experience from dr Monitto is unbeatable. They actually care about fixing your issues instead of the average chiropractor that temporarily relieves pain. I came in with low back and tailbone pain and left pain free. Would definitely recommend this place. The x-rays gave me a peace of mind to actually see the issues I had. the average chiropractor doesn't take x-rays and can not know for sure the issues that one has. Will definitely be back! I spent four days getting adjusted and was wealth worth it

My family has been going to Dr. Monitto for about 6 years now! I started going when i was pregnant with our daughter: if it wasn’t for him I would have never been able to walk while pregnant! Also, after I gave birth- we brought our 1 week old daughter in for her first adjustment: and she is now almost five and still comes once a month with me for her adjustment. Our daughter adores Dr. Monitto. To her and to us : he is family! He has kept her line, and has helped her grow into a healthy little girl.
