I started seeing Dr. Kordonowy when I was pregnant and worried about how my scoliosis would be throughout the pregnancy. He helped me to stay comfortable throughout my pregnancy and also had to pop several ribs back in haha! I had a very smooth pregnancy as far as my spine is concerned and I believe that was due to Dr. Kordonowy's care. I continued to see him for years after as well and he has always been wonderful! The whole staff is the best!

I was having trouble walking and experiencing intense pain. Dr. Kordonowy came to my rescue. After one adjustment pain was less and then after three adjustments I was so much better. I now see him on a regular basis for adjustments. He and his awesome staff are knowledgeable, kind, and concerned, I would recommend him to anyone needing chiropractic care.

Surgery saving experience. Approx 7 years ago our daughter was to the point thru Orthopedic Dr care of having hip surgery. We had multiple appts and referrals to Wake Med hospital for consultation on the surgery. We decided to get a 3rd opinion and we were referred by a friend to Dr Kordonowy and what an amazing experience it has been. After Dr K started treatments and discovered on X-rays that our teenage daughter had a 6th lumbar which is rare and it was missed by all the Ortho Dr and hospital appts. She is now doing great and avoided an unnecessary surgery thanks to the experience and treatment of Dr K. Currently all of our family continues to see Dr K and his daughter Rachel who has begun her career following in her dads footsteps and she has been amazing as well. Thank you to the entire staff at Kordonowy Chiropractic for your friendship and being amazing to work with and truly caring about people!!

I am the daughter of a retired chiropractor so am very picky about my treatment and will only see someone other than my dad if absolutely necessary. I threw my hip out of alignment during a hike while visiting the area here and knew I would have to go to a chiropractor on short notice. I am very thankful that I found Dr. Kordonowy. He put my neck, back and hips back in alignment with expert ability and I left after my adjustment without pain and feeling like new. His receptionist was also very friendly and was even able to make an appointment for me on the day thst I called. I highly recommend Dr. Kordonowy because I know and appreciate great chiropractic care.

The receptionist I spoke with was nice but refused to disclose whether the staff had been vaccinated. She did say that the staff wore masks though patients are not required to. This wouldn't be worrisome if I did not have a family member undergoing chemotherapy and is immune compromised. Based on other reviews, I suspect Dr. Kordonowsky is more than competent. I am simply not in a position to take risks.

I recently moved to this area and began my search for a Chiropractor after straining my neck. I read numerous reviews and after visiting 2 other local chiropractors, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Kordonowy. My initial phone call was answered by Deb (she could not have been nicer) who understood my situation and was able to schedule me the following day. Upon entering their business, I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and was greeted by Athena with a friendly “Hello” while she addressed me by my name and had all of my new patient paperwork ready. Paperwork completed, I met Deb (very friendly, knowledgeable and professional) who took my blood pressure and assisted me with pre-adjustment muscle relaxation techniques. Just a few mins later I met Dr. Kordonowy, (this place runs like clockwork) who took the time to fully listen to my issue and asked what type of chiropractic care my previous chiropractor used. It was obvious that Dr. Kordonowy is knowledgeable / familiar in many areas of chiropractic care, and will provide the type best suited for your needs. He knew exactly how to fix my problem and proceeded to painlessly correct my neck pain! Having been to numerous chiropractors over the years (I’m over 60), it’s easy to know who has the skill set, demeanor and interpersonal relationship needed to help you. Dr. Kordonowy is that guy! I highly recommend Kordonowy Chiropractic Center and his staff Athena and Deb for your future chiropractic care……

We were Recommended by a friend for our 2m old, he was colic for 2 long and sleepless weeks we suffered our baby was miserable as were we, our first visit with Dr.K was AMAZING and we seen a 360 turn around within the day! I've been going to Dr Kordonowy now for over a year (probably a year and a half) and have seen such amazing improvements in my health. After my first alignment I saw drastic improvements in my comfort levels while at my desk or being active. I have suffered back pain and discomfort my entire life and in the last year I can say that I no longer feel in pain or uncomfortable. I've continued my visits through my pregnancy as well and continue to feel the benefits. The office staff and Dr K are always wonderful, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Kordonowy is simply the best! My mom and I started going there about 14 years ago until we moved away. When I moved back, I went to two different chiropractors in the area and saw no improvement. My lower back pain was so bad that I was unable to sit down and laying down was very painful, but Dr. Kordonowy helped me feel better in no time! Not only is he awesome but his staff is kind and friendly and are always willing to work with my unpredictable and busy schedule when scheduling my appointments. Best chiropractor I've had, and I've used chiropractors in three states over four decades. Recently moved to Asheville, and I went to a chiropractor in Fairview, who wanted 20 visits to solve my neck issue. Not good enough. Dr. Kordonowy solved it in three visits. My M.D. recommended Kordonowy, and I'm glad he did.

Dr. Kordonowy and his team are exceptional!! I've walked in severe pain with a quarter walking stride to walking out in full stride and standing straight up. If you don't have insurance, it's not a problem. They an affordable plan of their own that won't break the bank. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

After struggling with significant neck and shoulder discomfort for about 6 months I underwent an MRI that revealed foraminal stenosis. I investigated several options for treatment including acupuncture, massage and miofascial therapy. No one seemed particularly optimistic about measurable long term improvement. My general practice doctor recommended Dr. Kordonowy as someone who has provided relief for patients with this condition. He emphasized that Dr. Kordonowy would be honest as to whether he could help improve my situation or not. On my first visit he reviewed my MRI results and expressed confidence that he could provide long term relief with chiropractic treatment. I had my first adjustment that day and noticed immediate improvement. Just three weeks later I would consider myself operating at about 90% of normal. I cannot describe what a relief it is to be without the discomfort I had experienced for several months. I have been so impressed with everyone on staff and the professionalism that permeates this facility. I would recommend Dr. Kordonowy to anyone experiencing spine related discomfort.

Best Chiropractor Ever! I went to Dr. K for neck pain and migraines. During one of my visits I mentioned that I am often dizzy. Dr. K immediately knew this was from floating calcium crystals in the inner ear, did a quick procedure and I was cured! I have been to 2 neurologist and an ENT. None of them considered that this could be a problem with my inner ear. I had grown so accustomed to being dizzy for so many years, I never thought relief was possible! Dr. K, Athena and Deb were so excited for me. I should also mention that my neck pain is gone. Dr K and his team have earned my loyalty for life. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Highly recommend.

Dr Kordonowy was one of the first few people I encountered after moving to Asheville in 2013. He, and his staff, were the epitome of what I hoped living in a smaller community would be; kind, welcoming, open, and friendly. Because of an insurance change I was unable to continue seeing him. I took my brother (also a doctor of chiropractic) to see Dr. Kordonowy after a month of neck pain raidiating into his arm. We went to two other chiropractors first with no luck or adjustments for his neck. Finally we went to Dr. Kordonowy and he fixed my brother right up! He is very compassionate and skilled; listened and cared about what my brother was saying and what was going on. Then successfully adjusted his neck and thoracic area. Dr. Leipold (my brother) felt 75% relief right after his adjustment, and is looking forward to seeing him again today.
