The staff are super friendly. Dr Maggio sits down and talks with you. He listens to concerns then addresses them. There is more to your visit than lay on the table and get adjusted. Dr. Maggio is professional, caring, kind, and thorough. At my intake appointment, he patiently reviewed my history, listened to my concerns, did a preliminary evaluation, discussed the plan forward, asked what I wanted from treatment, and made me laugh. He asked for consent to treat my neck instead of surprising me with adjustments to that area. He was conscientious, respectful, knowledgeable, and very skilled during the chiropractic treatment. For my issues, I also got some additional modalities (electric stim and ice), and when I left, my back and neck pain were much improved, all after the first visit. I look forward to completing my course of care and highly recommend him and his organized, helpful staff to anyone needing chiropractic treatment. You are literally in the best of hands with Dr. Maggio.

Dr. Maggio's care keeps that pain in abeyance and keeps me moving and active so I can enjoy my everyday activities and keeping up my modest orchard and oversize garden. My friend recommended Dr. Maggio to me and I went hoping against hope he could return my serve to me. Reader, I won gold. I’m not kidding. My team took first and I served and hit as I used to before the pain in my shoulder. I felt great relief after even the first session.

I found Downtown Chiropractic by way of referral and am so glad that I did! Between poor posture from being at home all day (due to COVID) and being pregnant, I developed lower back pain as well as shoulder and hip pain from sleeping on my sides. I can honestly say that I was a bit worried to get an adjustment being pregnant especially since the previous places I have been treated at unfortunately left me feeling worse, I almost gave up altogether. I read about the benefits of chiropractic care while pregnant and am so glad that not only I gave it a try, but trusted the recommendation for this place. Dr. Maggio is skilled, patient, and kind. He truly is the best chiropractor I’ve had the experience of working with here in Albuquerque. Even during the covid pandemic, they showed compassion and careful attention to each client. They make sure that safety is their #1 priority. I've been suffering from back and hip pain for awhile now. I'm in the process of testing for Albuquerque PD. I was worried that I would have troubles with the physical abilities testing since it's very difficult for me to run. I wasn't sure how much a chiropractor could help me, but I needed some pain relief fast as my testing date was approaching. I had 3 treatment sessions with Dr. Maggio before my testing. He did an amazing job getting me ready. He doesn't just crack you and send you on your way. He does a deep evaluation of your problems and gives you the best treatment options that suite your needs. He did an adjustment on my hips which was a huge relief. The best part is when he put me on this special table that helped with the mobility of my hips, which really lossened them up and helped with the lower back pain. Not to mention he has the awesome water message chair. Kind of hard to explain but it's worth making an appointment just for that. I've also been having a lot of pain in my forearm as well. Dr. Maggio treated it with ART (Active Release Technique) which is highly effective. Just after two treatments, most of my pain was gone. With ART you will notice results just after one session. I also wanted to mention that his staff is very friendly and his office is very nice. I very grateful I found Dr. Maggio. With his help I'm able to continue the testing process for APD. While I have a ways to go until my problem is completely fixed (my pelvis is literally twisted and tilted) with Dr. Maggio's help I'm confident that I will be better soon. Thanks Doc.
