Brought phone in with cracked screen, he replaced it but when I got it back, the touch screen wasn’t working properly and the was a gap in between my replaced screen and the housing of the phone so I could literally push the screen in and out. He did fix it again which was nice but complained at how I was pointing out the flaws of his service. Overall, the phone works better than it did however the customer support was terrible and I would recommend finding another, more reliable/nicer person to fix your phone

I went to Mike a few months ago to get a screen replacement for my iPhone X. For context, I'd dropped the iPhone at my laundromat a few weeks prior and wasn't in a position to get a new phone, but the cracked screen was hindering my use of the phone. After doing some research online, I saw that iPhone Doc was nearby, with a volume of good reviews and reasonable prices. I got my phone fixed speedily. After a few months, the sensor stopped working. Well, THAT was quick! From the time I dropped my phone off, to when I started writing this review, 15 minutes has passed. Very professional. Very efficient. Very safe, curbside drop off/pick up. The price for screen repair was less than any place I’ve been, and it usually takes over an hour to repair my screen. He sanitized my phone right in front of me before handing it off. Excellent service, everyone in the city goes to Mike! I got my iPhone fixed in less than 10 minutes. The screen was pretty messed up after my kid dropped it in the bathroom. For anyone who wants their iPhone repaired at fair prices, I highly recommend the iPhone Doc. I was actually too busy to go to their office & was discouraged after visiting Apple 2 times for them to tell me to make an appointment. I set up a drive up repair thing with the iPhone Doc. He arrived before the appointment time which was ok, I was at the corner store getting a coffee anyway. I gave him my phone, and received it back repaired in 10 mins while sitting on my stoop in the meantime. As I said before, I highly recommend these guys. They will be my go-to from now on!

Mike is awesome. My phone was a hideous spider web of cracks after falling from my bike while riding to work. I couldn't bear to touch or look at it except when absolutely necessary. Fortunately my wife had met with Mike last summer when we had 2 kids' phones with cracked screens. She sent me his card and within minutes I was on his web site scheduling an appointment for the next day to meet up at a nearby coffee shop. I mistyped my email address in the form so Mike called me a few minutes later to confirm when the confirmation email bounced. The next day he was early and waiting for me at the appointed time. I appreciated that same day appointments are an option - he was able to see me within 90 minutes at a location close to me, and replaced my cracked screen within 10 minutes. I also really appreciate the straightforward, transparent service - he thoroughly assessed the damage before cracking it open, replaced the screen, then allowed me to examine/test the new screen before resealing the phone. He also graciously straightened out a dented portion of the phone's aluminum frame to help avoid future damage in the same spot. Came across iphonedoc on google while searching for a repair store that was close to my location. I was ecstatic when I realized that Mike would be able to meet with me at a cafe in close proximity to my home. This was super convenient and because I am familiar with the location it took away any apprehension of meeting a stranger to fix my phone. The best part about this service was how quick and painless this process was! By the time I made my coffee and pastry order, Mike was 90 percent done with my phone! Will certainly use again!

I shattered my screen on the subway steps one evening, and found out about iPhone Doc NYC through Refinery 29 (good review there). The same night I was able to book an appointment online for 8:00am the next morning at a coffee shop on my way to work. I got an email confirmation that night and a text from Mike the next morning letting me what table he was waiting for me at the coffee shop. He was early! The screen replacement took 11 minutes. He was quiet and efficient. I was amazed just watching him. I eventually started chatting with him, and he was really friendly and interesting. After he fixed my phone, I paid him conveniently through Venmo and then bought myself a coffee. Before he left he stopped by my table and gave me his wi-fi code (since the coffee shop has limited wi-fi access). It is small things like that, that elevate iPhone Doc's customer service. In less than 12 hours, I went from having an almost unusable phone to a brand new one. This is one of the most convenient, caring customer service experiences I have ever had.
