I found iPhone repair bar shop on yelp, and it was a huge blessing. They did an excellent job repairing my Apple Watch screen. Also helped with preventive protection with a screen protector and clear case. I highly recommend this shop if you need any Apple repairs. Vess was very professional and timely in the repairs. I will come back for any future repairs, with reasonable prices. Great shop by UCLA.

Came to LA for one day, knowing nowhere and had very limited time. Was so anxious to have broken my computer screen. Saw this store with 600 reviews while maintaining 5 stars. Got the computer fixed in 30 mins super fast super friendly customer service loved it! The Repair Bar has been the best repair shop I’ve been to on the west side of town. Found them on Yelp, and with such great reviews, I decided to try it out. Great and reasonable prices for UCLA students and Westwood residents. Got my iPhone XR fixed as it was completely unresponsive as the screen was messed up. Vess and Zory fixed the issue of the touch crack screen on my iPhone XR not working in 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

This place is awesome! I came to fix my ipad 5th generation which had been soaked in my backpack that had a drink explode in it. They fixed the liquid damage and as a student who needs the notes and info saved on the device, they were able to save my data at no extra cost. Worth the money and great at communication. Found this shop since it was close to my apartment. They were extremely helpful with fixing my iPhone screen. The repair was affordable and looks great. I have to especially them for staying open 15 minutes past closing to get my phone repaired in the same day. The entire repair took less than 45 minutes. With great prices and this crazy fast turnaround, I will definitely come back, and recommend this store to my friends for future repairs.

Found Repair Bar on Google. My iPhone 8 Plus was completely destroyed ( broken front glass and back glass). Called them for an appointment and the job was done fast and cost effectively. IPhone 12 Pro Max was smashed (front and back) and not responding to touch - Apple said the phone was unrepairable. Brought it here and was taken care of with no problem! Took not even 2 hours from when I handed it off with no appointment and Ves even stayed after hours to get my phone to me - could not recommend more!! Cheaper, faster, and better quality than Apple with the same repair warranty. Hopefully won’t be dropping my phone again but if I do (or if I have any friends), absolutely coming here! 11/10 recommend. :)

I found repair bar on google and decided to go based on the excellent reviews and the convenient location in Westwood. Vess was very helpful in replacing my iPhone 7 battery and fixing the charging port. All of this was done within 30 minutes. I am very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend. They also do data recovery so I will be coming back if I’m need.

My iPhone enter a boot loop after I came out of the shower one day. After performing a hard reset, it entered recovery mode. So I connected my iPhone to my laptop and tried to update it via iTunes. It failed with an error 14 after multiple tries. I ended up scheduling an appointment with Apple’s Genius Bar. They tried to update the iPhone via iTunes which failed again and then they told me there was nothing I could do but restore the iPhone and lose all my data. Since I never backed up my iPhone and really didn’t want to lose all the photos and videos I’ve taken over the years, I looked for alternative options. None of the online remedies helped so I decided to call a few repair shops in my area. Of the few repair shops I spoke to, some couldn’t fix the issue, couldn’t guarantee data retention, or didn’t even want to discuss the problem over the phone. When I called Repair Bar, I spoke to Vess who asked me a number of questions regarding what happened and suggested I come in. I agreed primarily because of how thorough and professional Vess was over the phone. I ended up 30 minutes late to the appointment but Vess waited for me even though our appointment was already 30 minutes past their usual closing time. He asked me some questions before accepting the phone for repair. I went home and on the same day around 8:30 PM, Vess called and said he found a short and could fix the issue by tomorrow. I was very happy to hear this! I come in the next day and Vess explained to me that the repair was done and we could try updating the iPhone and initiate data recovery. He warned me ahead of time that some times the data recovery fails but offered me steps to take in that case. We talked while the data recovery took place, and when it was done, we tried to log into iPhone and it worked! The iPhone was working again and all my photos and videos were saved! Afterwards he found another issue with the Face ID mechanism, tried to fix it but couldn’t, but did not charge me for his time which I was grateful for especially since it was way past their normal closing time again. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome especially after receiving no help from Apple’s Genius Bar. I’m glad that I found Vess and his repair shop and that he was able to save my photos and videos which can’t be replaced. Vess was entirely professional and courteous throughout our interactions. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for iPhone repairs.

Reached out to RepairBar while in LA on a business trip for help installing a new battery for my MacBook Pro (2018 model). Battery had begun deteriorating over the past 3-4 months and indicated it needed service. As I live in a small town in Southern Utah, no local repair facilities could manage it. The RepairBar staff were courteous and professional in confirming my appointment. Showed up and was warmly greeted in the reception, whereafter the technician (the owner, Vess) quickly reviewed my laptop and confirmed the battery needed replacement. He estimated one hour to do so, but actually completed, reassembled, and tested the battery in ~ 45 mins. The price quoted was very fair, especially when compared to what Apple would have charged me. You typically pay after the service, but I had to give a down payment because I wanted to keep my laptop until the new ordered part was delivered. Very quick service. 25 lb dumbbell accidentally dropped on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Screen wasn't seriously damaged, but screen keeps constantly turning black. Only really able to turn on the phone with a hard reset and it got really annoying and stressful when the screen was just black for over 5 mins. Service at Repair Bar was very quick (less than 30 mins) and I got a pretty high quality tempered glass screen protector for about ($20) and a high quality screen replacement as well.

My iPhone XR wasn’t working due to liquid damage. The screen was constantly flickering, and it would shut down for no reason. I decided to find a repair bar to fix my phone. I immediately googled possible repair places that had good reviews, and I was able to find this place. When I called here, Vess answered right away. VESS SAVED THE DAY. I went swimming in the ocean with my iphone 12pro, since it was waterproof, but I forgot my screen was cracked and my phone died hours later. I went to the Apple Store to see if they could help recover my data and they gave me the # to the only place they work with and was quoted $1500-$9000 dollars for my data recovery. I called a bunch of other places and was quoted 4-6 weeks turn around and $1500 to fix. I finally got ahold of Vess and he said $60 for diagnostics, and he could do it right then. He got all my data recovered hours later for $300 and he deducted the $60 I already paid for diagnostics, and the data went directly to my icloud. He also got my phone fixed for no extra charge HOURS LATER. I HIGHLY recommend Vess. I will never go anywhere else. THANK YOU VESS!!

This place was heaven sent! After given the runaround at Apple and Best Buy and pressured to buy the latest iPhone model. I’m so happy stumbled upon this place. Right away they were able diagnose and solve the problem accurately. iPhone and Best Buy literally diagnosed my phone as not turning on whereas they knew it was a charger malfunction situation with the port and just like that my phone was back on. Vess did a great job repairing my wife’s iPhone XR . The screen was badly damaged in a bike accident . Dropped it off this morning and picked up this afternoon . Vess also fixed my iPhone X which was damaged last year . Vess makes a point to use the very best LCD or OLED screens , which makes it a little more expensive than the cheap repair shops around, but when it comes time to trade in or upgrade your phone retains its value . Incredible customer service (didn't have an appointment and was still helped out), and within a couple hours my phone was working as if it was brand new! My 2015 Macbook Pro screen was completely black from the display being loose for so long. Other stores suggested I wipe the memory for a huge pricetag and to ditch the machine. When I called this store they suggested I bring it in first to take a look. That day, they were able to replace my display with a spare part, and while it did cost me, my machine is better than new, and I have all of my computer memory still in tact. I suspect the other places would have charged me for the memory retrieval and then offered to take the computer off my hands. I had the best outcome I could have asked for. They couldn't have been more professional, efficient, and helpful. Since I'm pretty clumsy, I know I will be back here again.

It’s a husband/wife ownership team and they are awesome. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their work is excellent. They just replaced a component in my Macbook Pro’s motherboard that was causing a sudden black screen display. The diagnosis and repair took about an hour. I just sat and waited. I am very happy with the service I received. They also replace batteries for all Apple devices and perform diagnostic and device cleaning services. Please check them out if you have the need and do not have the expertise to do your own repairs (like me).

I cracked the screen of my macbook pro and Vess got it fixed with a brand new one in no time, which was truly a lifesaver since I can't get anything done without it. Not only did he fix it, he also offered free cleaning of the motherboard (or whatever that thing underneath the keyboard is called) since it had gotten dusty over the years. Had a great experience with Vess. My macbook pro fritzed and would not boot up. This was incredibly frustrating because all my clients' projects were stored in the internal hard drive and we had no backup. I had a tough night thinking of how to break the news to my clients. I found this place online and was on their doorstep even before they opened. Vess was very friendly and explained the potential options...after a short wait, he was able to fix the issue (a faulty hard drive cable) on the same day. Crisis averted. Through the whole process his business was very courteous, friendly and accessible. My laptop's hard drive collapsed out of nowhere one day (it was a good eight years old), and I was terrified I was going to lose all of my work and personal documents, downloaded materials, and everything else I had saved. (My external backup drive wasn't working, either.) I brought the laptop in to Repair Bar, and the team there worked diligently for a whole week to retrieve my data. Since the repairs wouldn't be ready until after business hours on a Saturday, the owner offered to take time from his Sunday afternoon and meet me at the shop to give me the computer. About 95% of my data was recovered, and things are - thankfully - back to normal. Great service, knowledgeable and communicative staff, and fair prices should make this your go-to place for repairs!

Long story short: they're fast and generous, but they also gave me a Macbook screen that is not a genuine Apple part that has some really annoying problems. For the ~$100 discount relative to the Apple store (on a $600 purchase) I wish I'd just taken my Macbook to an Apple store. Original review: Replaced my 2015 MacBook screen (Retina display) in 30 mins flat... a bit cheaper than Apple and way faster (they wanted to ship it out and take a week). Looks brand new Edit (2/1/19): the screen started bugging out within a week after the repair. It seems like a loose cable or something because changing the tilt of my screen fixes the problem. I called them and it seems like they’ll fix it for free depending on the reason for the problem. Will update the review accordingly. Edit (2/1/20): because I returned to them after 90 days (I think I got to them at around the 95th day), they said they were no longer able to replace the screen they gave me to the people they bought it from. They tried to repair the screen for free, but couldn't fix the problem. If I returned to them again, they might have been able to fix it, but I did not want the hassle. As a result, for the last year, I've had to periodically rub or press on the back of my screen to get it to work. On the one hand, the guy working there was really nice and generous with me. On the other hand, they gave me a part that doesn't work properly. Additionally, I was under the impression that for how much I paid (around $600), they would use a genuine macbook screen to fix my laptop. But when I went to a real Apple store last year to see if they could fix it, the guy at the Apple store said they noticed it wasn't an original Apple screen and that non-authorized dealers are not allowed to buy genuine Apple screens. I didn't feel like they were upfront with me about not using a genuine Apple part for the repair.

I found Repair Bar online and desided to give them a try.My iphone 7 had a cracked screen and lcd and was not responsive to touch. They gave me a free diagnostic and quoted me 20-30 min to finish the repair. Apple store appontmenrs were book and I had to wait to see the ginius guys in 2 days and they quoted me 1-2 hour repair time. Did not wonted to wait and thats why I went to repair bar near Ross. My broken iphone was ready in about 25 min and looking like new. Very happy with the service and I defenetly well be back in case I need a repair my Apple products. This review is hot off the presses. Two weeks ago my iPad died. Battery drained. Wouldn't charge. I had about an hour's worth of video with my late, great aunt on that iPad that wasn't backed up. It would've been a terrible loss. I took it to the Apple Store in Beverly Center. The Applebot did not try to plug it in or do any diagnostic. He simply told me that he could "feel a bump", meaning the battery had expanded and the iPad was dead. Data could not be retrieved. Sorry. To Yelp! I found many listings for businesses that claim to do iPad repairs. Contacted four of them. 3 said, "Sorry, we don't do iPads." The 4th said, "Of course, bring it in." I walked into the Repair Bar, a tiny storefront on Westwood Blvd just south of Wilshire and met the owner, Vess. I told him that all I really cared about was extracting the data. He was confident that was doable. I paid the $40 looksee fee (which is credited to any repair). A few days later, I was back to pick up my newly resurrected iPad. (The one that Apple Store had declared dead on arrival.) Vess told me it wasn't the battery or the charging port, but some little bit of circuitry on the motherboard. (If it's not one thing, it's a motherboard.) He also checked out the adapter and charging cable. Cable OK, but adapter had fluctuating voltage which is damaging to the electronics. He replaced the adapter for $25 (would be $60 or so from Apple). The total repair came to $180. I would have paid $300 for the data extraction alone to get back those precious videos of Aunt Lou. But for less than $200 I have a refurbished iPad back with all the data intact, plus a new adapter. Vess founded Repair Bar 10 years ago and has succeeded because he takes pride in the work and takes care of his customers. He provides an excellent service at a very fair price. Repair Bar fixes all things Apple: iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, etc. I'm confident saying that if your Apple product has given up the ghost and all appears lost, don't despair. Bring it to Vess at Repair Bar. I'm bringing him my "dead" MacBook Air next.

My hard drive broke on a new lenovo laptop so I walked into this place to get it fixed. The guy working there was extremely friendly and gave me a great price on a solid state drive with installation, and even set me up with windows. It looks like macs and iphones are their main thing, they have a lot of specialty iphone cases and screens that you can purchase and have them install, that I don't think I've seen anywhere else, kind of made me wish I had an iphone. I think they give a student discount too. Moral of the story, this is a small accommodating business that's just looking to please the customer rather than make a profit, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for computer repairs or trying to bling out their phone.
