I came to cellular gallery for a craked screen solution, while waiting for the repair I engaged in conversation with Michael , told him I recently lost family members and I suspected I lost their pictures by accident because they were not in the cloud and I wont be able to retake those pictures, I ended up leaving the phone while I ran other errands, when I got back my phone had a good screen and ALL my lost pictures were in the gallery. Outstanding service! Brought my Samsung Note 9 in yesterday morning around 11am to have both the screen and back replaced. Michael gave me a fair quote and stated that it would be ready by 2pm the same day. Came in and all was ready. We swapped in the sim and memory, tested and away I went. YES! The best kept secret of Santa Monica and its phone repair options. Have you ever googled something and just gone to the closest place available? Me: guilty Maybe an even better questions is, have you ever pulled up and judged a book by its cover? Yup, me: guilty again (... Could a electronic shop really be as good as all of its >400 5 star reviews? YES, yes it can! Just WOW. Michael and his team are dynamic, kind, quick working and conscientious. i dropped by phone the 4th of July and they quickly responded to a repair with technical expertise. Michael was charming while I waited, and when the new protective cover was a bit glitchy he made an order to have another screen more to my liking quickly and efficiently. I am sure much like most of you, I have way too much time dedicated to my day-job and not enough time for other miscellaneous tasks like this. Cellular Gallery made my repair easy and a great experience. He has been in this location and business for a long time and has grown with the electronic (and city) evolutions. I found this place on Yelp a little less than a year ago. I called them for a quote on fixing the backside of an iPhone X. They had the most reasonable price out of all the places I called. I went in there immediately. A very friendly/ funny guy named Mike helped me out. They didn’t overcharge me and fixed that in less than 2 hours and for less than half the price I got offered at other repair stores. Then yesterday I dropped my phone and suddenly my screen went white and green, even tho it didn’t crack. I just walked in right away as I had a good experience here already. They fixed my phone in 30 mins again for a very decent price. This is going to be my go to place always. They always have a solution to any issue and they are always honest.

When they realized it was a lost cause, Michael hunted down another iPhone 11 Pro and stayed after hours to copy all my data over exactly as it was on my old phone. I had a charging problem in my Sprint uninsured mobile device and was expecting a costly and long process of repair at the company's repair center. I decided it's time to go privately and after research found this wonderful repair shop. The front guy, Mike, was very nice and inviting and was quickly figuring my problem. In no time he offered me a much more affordable repair that costs about less than a third price compare to Sprint repair and lasts only about 2 hours (unlike 2-3 business days over there). I loved the welcoming and friendly attitude and got my phone back to me totally fixed! I'm so happy with this store and will always relay on them with my mobile stuff! I used this place to switch to a different mobile cell provider. They knew all of the tips-and-tricks to *quickly* discontinue service with my old cell provider (and keep my old number) and then set me up with new service, which saved me a lot of money, not to mention time and hassle. I only wish I had discovered them earlier when my old phone needed to be repaired. They are a local small business that truly appreciates their customers. While I was there, the mail delivery guy dropped off their mail and even knew the name of the owners dog (and the dog also clearly knew the mailman!). Also while I was there, another (apparently familiar) customer came in to introduce a friend to this business and spoke glowingly of the owner, who, by the way, personally provides the service of which I and others speak (the owner's name is Michael). Try getting that level of service at *any* of the big cell retailers (or at the well-known "Genius Bar"). In addition, their prices are beyond reasonable. So glad I discovered them. Highly recommended!

A few months later, there was an issue with one corner of the screen and I brought it back. While fixing it, the technician ran into a problem and they ended up having to replace the screen one more time. By far the best experience I've ever had getting my phone repaired. After spending an entire week going back and forth between sprint and Apple and not getting a single thing done I came to cellular gallery from word of mouth. My friend recommended I stop by and have the owner Michael check my phone. After a few minutes he was able to work his magic and not only diagnose my phone but get it back to working condition when sprint and Apple stated that my phone was not "fixable" and therefore I would need an upgrade. Even while waiting for my phone to be repaired I saw him turn away business because he's an honest man and told the customer it would be cheaper for them to go through their insurance. In a stale industry that can make you feel like your chasing your own tail, all to keep you from actually understating the devices of which you cherish or check the monthly bill to discover bogus monthly activation jelly bean fees... cellular gallery represents everything that is good about an independent small business. I have my doctorate in psychology. I’m no tech expert but I grew up with the iPhone (got the first generation at the age of 22. Recently, after months of frustration with Verizon wireless - hours of waiting on the phone - hidden charges - old lines deactivated but still being charged monthly. I had enough. I was switching to T-Mobile which was offering a lower monthly bill, better customer service, and the ability to set up a checking account at 4% APY if your a customer - which was very attractive since BofA was defrauding me relentlessly. So I called T-Mobile and my new iPhone came after I made the switch. I went to cellular gallery after having some trouble understanding how to change the data and iCloud information to the new phone. My friends, my neighbors, people of Santa Monica. This was the best choice I have sever made. I seriously have no idea where I would be without Mike’s guidance. The main reason I was there was to repair a crack on my phone. T-mobile was offering to but the phone back for $900, which was 200 more than Verizon, and they wouldn’t have any new iPhones ready till late December. Mike fixed the crack, and gave me a decent deal - although I didn’t realize the extra charge was for what ultimately became a guided tour towards not getting screwed. At no charge, mike offered to transfer the data to my new phone. He instructed me to download all the apps after the transfer, and then bring the phone back to send it to T-Mobile (although you have to be vigilant about getting that return address). At this point I decided mike was a trustworthy fella so I brought my old iPad in that had several cracks. He fixed it for less than $100. When I brought it home the top had not adhered properly so I brought it back and mike fixed it and was very apologetic. Mike is now sending my old phone back to T-Mobile and guiding me on what to do so I don’t get screwed (otherwise I could get a bill for a $900 phone that was supposed to be working). This ladies and gentlemen is why we must support small business. If I had gone to T-mobile they would have been dismissive and inattentive. They don’t care if I leave with bad direction. Mike however had a stake in you/us our neighbors being satisfied with his service. Mike showed resilience, patience, dignity, integrity and honesty. Never again will I engage in a cellular issue without first consulting mike. He’ll give you a fair deal, he explain things to you to avoid pitfalls in the future, and he’ll leave you with a reassuring smile - and this is the kind of humanity that we need right now. Thanks for your inspiration dear sir. I am in gratitude indebted to your kindness and extraordinary wisdom and craftsmanship. THEY BROUGHT MY CELLPHONE BACK TO LIFE!!! This is the place to get your phone fixed. I have an LG Aristo 3. It was draining power way too fast and taking forever to charge. Then it would not charge at all. I called Cellular Gallery and talked to Michael and described the problem and he said to bring it in and we'll look at it. This is after l took it to 2 Metro PCS stores and they said it was obsolete and couldn't be fixed. WRONG! Michael opened up my phone and showed me that moisture had gotten inside indicated by a red dot and caused a short somewhere. A lot of work needed to be done so I left it at the store to be fixed. I called Michael around 3pm and he said it was charging but wanted me to call him back at 6:30pm. I called him back and he said it was perfect. What a relief. I asked him how much would it be and he said it would be 1 to 2 million. HA HA HA!! I said I'll call my friend Donald Trump; I'm sure he could cover that. The price for the work was VERY reasonable. The owner @ Cellular Gallery was very generous and gave me $10 off kindness trumps discounted mediocre Staples. Even though it costed $89 it was worth not having to run around and waste time.. They fixed it in minutes the waiting was for the dead phone to charge. Enough time for a run to DK Donuts 2 doors away for Ube donuts. If you need any repairs, replacement phones etc this has to be your go to one stop shop. He generously gifted a cell phone case for my friend. Michael at Cellular Gallery is a great guy and a real straight shooter. I had an iPhone 7 that I had unwittingly taken (in my backpocket) swimming in the ocean for about 15 minutes. I dried it out, turned it on - it worked mostly except for the display being dim on one side, managed to make a backup of it, then it died completely. When I returned home from my trip, I brought it here. Michael and his team spent a lot of time checking it out to see if they could fix it - thankfully they didn't charge me anything for the diagnostic. Unfortunately the circuits were damaged beyond repair, but I really appreciate the help and honesty they provided - I didn't have to pay for repairs that wouldn't have worked. These guys really care about their customers and offer prompt, attentive service. Moral of the story - 1) don't take your "waterproof" iPhone swimming, 2) back it up to icloud and 3) for honest repairs go to Cellular Gallery!

You ever go to a place that you never thought you would but now it's become one of your favorite places? This is one of those places for me. The day before Thanksgiving it was raining and my phone had gotten soaked and was unable to charge and the battery was draining fast. Since my phone was old I figured it was time to look at getting a new phone. I went to Verizon (which is where I would always go), and was told that it would take about six weeks to receive my new phone since I guess it was backordered because of everyone ordering for the holidays. There is no way I could wait that long. So I just googled where was the nearest cell phone repair place that was open the day after Thanksgiving. That's when I came across Cellular Gallery. Upon coming in there I was greeted by Michael. This guy is beyond awesome. Rather than just trying to take my money, he gave me suggestions on how I might be able to get Verizon to replace my current one. Not the best thing to do if you're a business just trying to make money. But he treats his customers like family and wants your business for long term and not just out to make a quick buck. I have gone back multiple times for different reasons, whether it's a new battery, or a new port because I had damaged it and everytime they went above and beyond to make you satisfied and want you leaving happy. Even if you just want to get some input on what's the best suggestion, he'll be more than happy to help you even if it doesn't make him any money. From now on I will only go to Cellular Gallery for all of my cellular needs. Michael made the best out of a bad situation. A++
