We've been to a handful of events at Fellowship Hall in Media but this was the first one we hosted ourselves and it was the best choice for our son's 2nd birthday party! The food by Cedar Creek Catering was delicious and they were so accommodating with our balloon decor vendor and our setup requests. They even included a bounce house for our son and the kids. If you're looking for a venue for any type of event but especially one where kids will be attending, this is the perfect venue! The adults were still able to enjoy themselves while keeping an eye on the kids playing with the toys we brought to occupy them. Cedar Creek has a wide variety of options on their catering menu so it was super easy to select a menu that catered to all of our guests. We will definitely be having future events at Fellowship Hall as long as we live in the area!

CJ and his team really knocked it out of the park with our New Years Eve menu! We were wanting a bbq style meal for our NYE gathering and we were not disappointed! Short ribs, pork ribs, pulled pork, mac & cheese, garlic potato wedges AND THE JALAPEÑO CORNBREAD —- WOW!! is all I can say! Everything had amazing flavor and our guests couldn’t get enough. Working with the Cedar Creek staff is always so easy. They are friendly and pay full attention to detail. We absolutely love anything and everything we’ve had from Cedar Creek and will be back again soon!

I recently attended a business cocktail event that was hosted by Cedar Creek Catering, and the food was OUTSTANDING! Everything was fresh, the flavor combinations are inspired and delicious. There was something for everyone. I'm gluten sensitive, and they were sure to provide plenty of options for me. The bartenders were courteous and fast! Loved my first experience with Cedar Creek but it definitely won't be my last! I'm looking for reasons to host a party so I can have that amazing food again!

Last Sunday we had my daughter’s bridal shower, After researching caterers I chose Cedar Creek catering, and their Hall in Media, best decision I ever made.My first interaction was with Chrysta, the event coordinator. Starting with that phone call I knew I was in good hands. We had quite a number of phone calls and emails leading up to the big day. Chrysta was always very welcoming and cheerful in all my interactions with her. She made great suggestions, helped us with the food menu and the linens that we used. The hall is very spacious, We had a group of about 25, and the way they set up the room was perfect. Also we were able to use their sound system and use our playlist for music. As for the food , CJ The owner and chef, Prepared an awesome array of food for us. Everything was delicious. We had the Charcuterie and Hummus for appetizers, so yummy! The main course was chicken Marsala, Sweet soy glazed salmon, spinach and onion quiche, Along with a side of Roasted Parmesan potatoes and garlicky green beans. So good, Had so many compliments from my guests, they kept going back to the table for more. Ending was a great dessert tray, cupcakes and cookies, and fresh fruit. Also want to mention our server Rachel, what a special, friendly person. She took care of all of our needs and my guests. In closing I would 100% definitely recommend Cedar Creek catering and if I ever have another event I will choose them. Thank you for making Kelly’s shower perfect!

Cedar Creek Catering is absolutely fabulous!! Everything that was served was exceptional. Nothing ever ran out and the presentation was inviting and wonderful. The wines that Haley selected from Scout and Cellar matched perfectly. Great job. Thank you

In mid-June we hosted a pre-wedding party for out-of-town guests, the night before our daughter's wedding. Fellowship Hall was the perfect venue for this informal party, with roughly 80 people of all ages attending. Guests were staying in Media and could easily walk from their hotel. Cedar Creek was wonderful to work with! The food was delicious - beautifully presented and plentiful. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meal (we decided on buffet, not served). Chrysta helped us plan for party elements that were important to us such as food allergies, gluten-free choices, compostable paper goods, how to time the meal based on toasts and other presentations, and how to set up the room. She sourced a local baker for gluten-free and nut-free desserts - an element we truly appreciated. It was a lovely evening! I definitely recommend Cedar Creek Catering for any event you are planning. Great food, nice choices, and they deliver on what they promise.

CJ, the head chef and owner, is the man and he is passionate about giving you an experience customized to your interest. You can customize your options and have something that reflects your personality. You’ve got to try the pepper jelly! It’s the secret ingredient that brings everything together. Cedar Creek Catering at Fellowship Hall was nothing short of awesome!! We held our sons first birthday party at the hall and were so pleased with the space, the staff, and the food! The space is very large and open which was great for the 30 kids we had there. They provided a bounce house for us, which was a huge hit!! They set up the hall and did the clean up and were extremely accommodating. They customized the menu to our liking which was a huge added bonus! Everyone raves about the food! I would absolutely use Cedar Creek and Fellowship hall again and would recommend to anyone!!

Our company ,Linvilla Orchards, retained the services of Cedar Creek Catering & Events to create a menu ,set up a buffet and man the bar for our employee appreciation event held on May 5th 2022 at Indian Orchards. Chef CJ prepared and supervised the set up for the buffet, the food was a hit with all of our team members. Quality was superior and there was plenty to go around for our 100 attendees. CJ's staff were courteous and professional, everything went according to plan. We have already booked them for a June event. I would highly recommend their services.

I was there for a rehearsal dinner. It was a large group with lots of out of state family. Chef CJ prepared a nice selection of foods for us, all of which were delicious. His charcuterie board selection was excellent. The fruit was so fresh and tasty is was tough to stop eating it. He had sliders of all varieties- burgers, veggies, brisket, pulled pork. Great!! CJ is personable and his staff is friendly and courteous. Everyone enjoyed the food and the evening at his place in Media.

Cedar Creek saved the day! The weather was a washout for our daughter’s First Communion Party but that did not phase CJ and his crew. We called an audible and moved everything inside and it was just as good if not better thanks to Cedar Creek! Highly recommend them for your next event!

Cedar Creek Catering is a hidden jem! My fiancé & I had our rehearsal dinner at Cedar Creek Catering in Media, PA on 6/17/22. Chrysta Argue, their event coordinator is excellent & helped us plan everything from food selection, table cloths, to bar tender. The Chef, CJ, prepared everything to a tee! We had about 50 guests. Our bartender was welcoming & diligent. We had a charcuterie first consisting of cured meats, imported & domestic cheeses, fruit, raw veggies & more. Plus CJ’s famous signature spicy pepper jelly. Delicious! Next we had cheese steak egg rolls that were out of this world, roast beef Au Jus, grilled chicken & other sumptuous food. For dessert we chose red velvet/lemon cupcakes & a fruit bowl. Cedar creek set up & supplied everything. Table cloths, linens, disposable plates & cutlery. The atmosphere at Cedar Creek Catering is attractive & welcoming. Their Chef, CJ, is a well seasoned professional & a very nice guy! I have been to a few events at Cedar Creek & they never disappoint. I would recommend them for any type of event. They are top notch!

Cedar Creek catered a sit-down holiday dinner in our home for 10 guests. We could not have hoped for a better evening. Chrysta helped me with the menu selections and was always cheerful, responsive, and provided great advice on the menu options. CJ and Chrysta are a dream team when it comes to events. I found Cedar Creek by happenstance for my wedding and am so glad I did. Immediately, Chrysta was helpful, personable, creative, and excited to work on making our event unique. She listens so well and is an excellent communicator. As for the food, our tasting was a blast and every single thing that came from CJ’s kitchen was delicious. He is fun, easy to talk to, and imaginative with his food. He clearly has a passion for what he does, and even had great off the top of his head ideas for what to do with our event space on the walkthrough. I was also impressed by his consideration for allergies and other dietary needs. Can’t wait to see how they pull off the event!

Last Saturday we had a wedding couples shower for my daughter and her fiancé. We used Cedar Creek Catering and their hall in Media, PA. I must say, it was the best shower I have ever attended! (totally unbiased 😂) The hall was roomy(covid-safer), bright and cheerful. The food CJ prepared for us was FABULOUS. All our guests raved about the presentation and yumminess of the food! Chrysta and CJ were wonderful to work with as we planned the party. I recommend that you use them for any upcoming event you may be planning.

I had my mom's 60th birthday here at the end of January. CJ and Chrysta were fabulous from beginning to end. The food was spectacular and the venue is a perfect size for all your needs. We fit a mirror Photobooth, 7 tables, a DJ table, gift table, food table and bar table with still so much space for an epic dance party. I can't recommend them enough.

She knew we would be ready for a real sit-down meal after 3 days of nibbling whatever, whenever. Cedar Creek Catering delivered everything hot and ready to eat. I am so glad my husband and I chose Cedar Creek Catering for our wedding! After tons of research, I felt confident Cedar Creek would be the right choice after just one phone call with the owner, CJ. I loved how we were able to do the tasting BEFORE we ever hired him. It allowed us to make a more informed decision on what is arguably the most important aspect of any wedding. We loved all the options we were able to choose from, and CJ was super accommodating. He worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The tasting was a fun experience, and we knew immediately we would book Cedar Creek for our wedding. We were able to make adjustments to fit our specific tastes, which I found so refreshing. CJ worked with us to make sure we had what we wanted/needed within our budget. CJ works closely with several rental companies, so we decided to streamline the process and book the majority of our rentals through him as well. That saved us so much time and a major headache! He was there to answer any of our questions along the way. On our wedding day, CJ and his entire staff were extremely professional and courteous. I got so many compliments on the food, particularly the braised beef short rib, which is something CJ recommended himself. Cedar Creek Catering is a wonderful catering company that provides great food and service. They work with you to make sure your event is exactly what you dreamed it could be. I would definitely recommend Cedar Creek Catering to anyone looking for catering services for any event, especially a wedding!

Food delicious, arrival and departure on time - set up everything as planned and left house in perfect order. CJ, the owner, was in excellent contact with us prior to the event. Though we gave Cedar Creek little lead time (less than 2 weeks) everything happened perfectly at our open house for 60. What a great way to have a party - hiring Cedar Creek Catering!

About 6 weeks prior to my July wedding date, it was cancelled at the venue and we had to start everything from scratch and move to a backyard venue. I reached out to dozens of caterers. I was recommended cedar creek catering from my sister in law who often used them for events for different organizations she was involved in. Cedar creek was by far the most accommodating and imaginative in accomplishing the wedding of my dreams. CJ, the owner and executive chef, helped us with creating a great flow and achieving the “cocktail hour” style wedding we were looking for while also not breaking the bank. And they pretty much took care of everything. I had very little to be concerned about. Chrysta, the event coordinator, went even more above and beyond. She gave great ideas on how to make the best use of space and helped us construct the site from scratch- while also allowing for social distancing and keeping the event “COVID”. She spent hours upon hours leading up to the wedding creating a magical venue. She was so meticulous in every fine detail. Food: we did a combination of passed appetizers and stations. The charcuterie station was beautifully presented and they made it Covid friendly with individually portioned cheeses, meats, and dips with reduced contact. The lamb chops and lobster roll appetizers were outstanding. The cheesesteak spring rolls and crab cakes were phenomenal. And the shrimp cucumber bites were delicious and refreshing. We had a prepared short rib and chicken with roasted potatoes and vegetables-and they were all so delicious. Chicken can be pretty basic and simple- CJ managed to make it unreal and tasty and the short rib was mouthwatering. He also created these amazing and creative flatbreads which were just incredible. People kept going back for seconds and thirds - and we couldn’t decide which was our favorite because it was all so incredible. I wanted a late night meal for everyone so asked CJ to prepare individually wrapped cheesesteaks. BEST decision by far... my husband and I have tons of cheesesteaks snobs and connoisseurs in our family. 4 months later- people still are talking about how that was the best cheesesteak they’ve ever had. I alone ate 5 in one sitting because they were addicting! I still think about calling CJ up to ask him to make some more. Outstanding!!!! Service: They took care of the chefs, servers and attendants. We wanted specific bartenders who we hired separately. But Chrysta did an amazing job coordinating and managing them- as well as managed the remaining vendors (photo/video/flowers/bakery/rentals). I didn’t have to worry about a thing. There were hiccups with some vendors- and she made it so seamless that I didn’t even know any of it happened. The servers were professional (masked) and made sure that every guest was attended to. They did a great job of working all areas and keeping everything so clean. I appreciate them so much and they were all incredibly courteous. Chrysta I can’t say enough about! She made sure that my cake was cut on time, had my toasting flutes ready and on stand by for us, and was so detail oriented. All with a huge smile on her face! CJ checked on us to make sure we ate and prepared my groom and me an incredible table to take a moment to ourselves and to enjoy a beautifully plated meal. At the end of the night they had everything cleaned up and the leftover food Wrapped up for us to enjoy the next day. Also - for my surprise bridal shower, CJ prepared a delicious brunch including bagels, frittatas, chicken piccata (I still dream about it). It was phenomenal. I still to this day am receiving tons of compliments regarding the food and service at my shower and wedding. And it’s all because of CJ, Chrysta, and the amazing group at Cedar Creek! CJ and Chrysta and all of the amazing staff- thank you SO much for all of the time you spent on my wedding. Thank you for being so kind to us, answering my millions of calls and texts, and for taking so much off my plate and creating such an amazing event. You are amazing for events large and small!
