Run, not walk to try this place! You can feel the love cooked into everything they have! I love their pulled pork, potato salad and if you haven’t tried their sweet cornbread, you don’t know what you’re missing!!!

Good barbecue at reasonable prices. Their pork barbecue is a favorite of mine and their cole slaw is good too. They have daily specials. You can eat in or take out. Also they serve pulled pork tacos and sweet potato fries which are excellent.

We ordered by phone a variety for a small gathering to accommodate several eating styles. Our order was easily ready in 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and efficient. The pig themed dining room is understated, diner style, and was very clean the day we visited. The brisket is pulled, not slab cut Texas style. The chicken is also finely shredded. This style is excellent for sandwiches and small children. Yes, the meat is on the dry side— you choose from 3 sauces (mild, sweet, spicy) to apply to each one’s taste. We’ll go back again when the little grandkids are here. 8 oz of a side is smaller than we imagined. If you have more than 2-3 people, get the 16 oz of every side. Sautéed green beans are sweetened: not my favorite, a southern country taste. Our party loved the mac & cheese and left none for tomorrow. Baked beans were fine, pretty much what we expected. The cole slaw is creamy instead of vinegary, which we appreciated. The food is nice quality at a fair price; the service is efficient and friendly. Maybe not an amazing culinary experience, but great for a neighborhood carry out meal.

I've been eating here ever since they opened when they offered their delicious food to those who couldn't experience it via catering. Now that they've expanded I can say that the quality remains very high and the food is just as if not morendelicious, but now I have a nice place to sit down and enjoy my meal as they have expanded to the building next door. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for? Best BBQ in town hands down.

Booked this caterer for our wedding back in 2017 and forgot to write a review. Every process with Pig-Nic was 10/10. From the tasting, budgeting and options, up to the wedding and clean up were phenomenal. Were incredibly friendly and worked so well without a single hitch from beginning to end. Just as good as the 10/10 service was the 10/10 food. Don't skip out on the grilled chicken which is a must and all the sides were classics that tasted homemade. Highly recommend.

Decent food … my only thing is they make you pay for condiments and water ….that’s rediculous….this should be apart of their overhead. I’m super big on bbq food I’ve eaten food from Tennessee, California, Texas, all the southern states really. The food is good but compared to other places decent at best. The sweet tea was the best part of the meal. The potato salad had an overwhelming taste of mustard that took away from everything else. Great place! My brother and I went in to a nice warm welcome. The inside is very clean. Food was very affordable overall. I got the barbecue sandwhich and was very surprised at how much pork was on there. Fries arent that great tho. Just saying, but the bbq is amazing !!!!!! Go just go! Guy working the front was really friendly answered any questions I had without hesitation. I travel all over the USA for work let me tell you it's one ofmy top 5 pulled pork sandwiches I have had. What's Out There

The taste of the Food here is pretty average and basic to an advanced foodies palate. nothing to write home about. The bbq sauce taste like something you could get from the grocery store like Sweet Baby Rays. But the inside is comfortable and decent if you want to dine in very nice atmosphere.

I go to Mission BBQ a lot. I love the military atmosphere, but my friend brought in a Hogzilla from this place and I had to try it. This place does not disappoint. The restaurant is clean, bathrooms were nice, had subtle little unique accents. Over all a nice place to be. My only critique is that the customer service is slightly less than satisfying. I asked if they were out of anything (which usually isn't uncommon at a highly rated BBQ joint) and one of the associates seemed to take offense. They were prepping for a 1500+ person event the next day so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. To make a long story short. Get a Hogzilla and prepare for a food baby.

The people are very easy to work with. I planned a birthday party for my supervisor and 25+ co-workers in February. I constantly worried over making sure I had enough food for everyone with my limited budget. They literally sat down with me and went over all of my options of how I could set my menu up to serve everyone. EVERYTHING turned out better than I expected and everyone was happy with the buffet menu. I need to call them now for another event!

Wait a minute, The Pig Shop? The name on this page is Mobile Pig-Nic Catering so what's with this Pig Shop thing? The Pig Shop adjoins the Mobile Pig-Nic Catering space in the same freestanding building. If you've ever been fortunate enough to attend a function catered by Mobile Pig-Nic Catering you know they really produce some pretty amazing BBQ and other items. We consumers are fortunate that about a year ago they opened the Pig Shop which is a sit-down and takeout restaurant where customers can enjoy the business's amazing culinary delights every day. The business has a small private parking lot but if needed there is a good deal more parking available on the unpaved side of the building which also is home to a pretty large number of smokers and grills as well as some of their catering vehicles. The smallish concrete building is rather unassuming. Upon entering the Pig Shop you will find a very clean, modern space adorned with various pig and barbecue themed items. Overall, it's an attractive and comfortable space with tables and chairs for customer dining in the front portion of the room and an order counter backed with menu boards in the rear. To the left there is a common wall with a door shared with the catering side of the business, all the food is prepared on the catering side. There is a hallway leading behind the order counter to access the restrooms. A drink cooler with bottled drinks is to the right. Service is always fast and friendly, all the employees I've encountered have been very pleasant. If you don't want to commit to ordering an item they are willing to give you a sample to taste to help you make up your mind. The Pig Shop menu has all your standard barbecue eatery items. Pork and chicken (pulled) bbq, ribs, brisket, grilled chicken, etc... The grilled chicken is some of the best I've ever had, it's what keeps me coming back. I really love the pork bbq too, it's amazing especially when you top it off with a little of their creamy coleslaw. Brisket? It's pretty amazing too, so tender juicy and delicious. I only tried the ribs once and found them dry and not very flavorful but that's really my only complaint with my PIg Shop experiences. They have plenty of side items as well and you can purchase items a la carte or in combination packages or family packs. The mac & cheese is out of this world, just crazy delicious. I also love the green beans and the coleslaw is pretty tasty as well. I don't care for the baked beans, much too sweet for me, but my neighbor says it's the best he's ever had so your mileage may vary. For a good value try the "paks." The Pig Pak is bbq pork, buns and sauces and three large sides for $25. A Chicken Pak (grilled) is $27 while a Ribs Pak or Brisket Pak are both $30. These meals will comfortably feed a family of four so they are a pretty good value already but on Monday - Thursday they are discounted by $5 after 5PM so the value is really there. One thing that stands out at The PIg Shop is their signature sandwich, the Hogzilla. It's a large bun piled high with bbq, brisket, bacon, Swiss cheese, tangy bbq sauce and pickles. It's expensive at $8.50 without any sides but it's huge and something you really need to experience because it's just an amazing tasting sandwich, heaven on a bun.

I came in this afternoon after lunch time and wqs interested in the chopped pork bbq. I was concerned if it might be too spicy for me. Due to radiation in my head and neck & mouth years ago for my cancer I cannot eat spicy foods. The young man was very kind who assisted me. He actually brought me a litrle to try & also a little bit of brisket. I was pleasantly surprised how delicious they both were. A nice smokey taste & very tender brisket. If you do want to add spice they offer 3 or 4 different bbq sauces. Just wanted to say thank you again to the young man who helped me today to make the right decision. And also I got the BBQ plate I got the collard greens & mac & cheese which were also delicious & a nice slice of bread that tasted like that sweet hawaiian bread. Where do we begin... From the time that we've met Mike, it was a pleasant and professional experience all the way. We have ordered BBQ, brisket, ribs and chicken, plus sides for our July 4th party, and everything was out of this world! Not to mention, he included buns, plates, utensils, napkins, etc so we didn't have to worry about one thing. Our guests kept coming back for "seconds", so it was a good thing that we have ordered extras of everything. Thank you so much Mike and the team, you guys are amazing! Quite possibly the best barbecue I have had in the 7 cities thus far ...... I have eaten at many spots and nothing comes to my first time with the family at the PIG SHOP. OMG they enjoyed themselves and deserve 5 stars just based off the fact that they have Tabasco sauce at the table and the correct barbecue sauce that should have pulled pork... the meats are very tender and very well seasoned and the service was awesome the girl at the front counter on this Sunday very courteous as well as the gentleman at the counter Friday.... look it was so good had to bring the family 2 days later... I'm hooked on this place. 4/14/19
