My boyfriend and I came here for a nice date night dinner in mind. He picked the spot so wasn’t aware of it being fine dining with our attire, but it was the best experience from start to finish.. we instantly fell in love the food is so well thought did I mention delicious!! As well as the presentation it was outstanding! Can’t wait to go back and tell all my family and friends about Gracie’s and how we fell in love. Great job to the entire team who makes this place what it is!

Gracie's was such a fun place to eat. It really felt like a great experience. We did the 5 course chef tasting. By doing this I tried some things I probably would not have ordered. It was all fantastic. We will definitely come again.

Gracie's truly never disappoints. This visit was for a birthday and we were greeted with a beautiful birthday card on the table. The food as always was excellent - highlights for me were the soft-as-clouds gnocchi and the foie gras. I highly recommend the more comprehensive tasting menu; the extra items are well worth it in my opinion. Gracie's does come worth a hefty price tag but honestly I've had a better experience here than plenty of 1 Michelin starred restaurants in a similar price range. I would definitely strongly consider Gracie's for another special occasion dinner in the future.

We enjoyed our dinner here.
Gnocchi was a great starter. Duck was the best thing that we ordered.
Mixed nuts tasted burnt on random pieces.
A bit over priced for what we got, however the service was impeccable.

We had a 5 course tasting menu. The cod was amazing. The service was excellent. I mentioned I needed lactose free and was very happy they could do it. Well worth the price. We had a great evening for our anniversary.
Definitely would recommend and be back

Literally my #1 favorite restaurant. Every dish is a work of art, and they are accommodating for special diets, which is very unique to a restaurant that offers courses and pairings. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. I think about this restaurant all the time, it's such a huge treat to be able to go. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't been able to visit Gracie's. This place is a TREASURE.

November 2022: We had a seven course tasting menu. $440 including the tips. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the tables are well spaced out, with some privacy achieved by partitions/sheer curtains. The service was very attentive. The food was very good, with the exception of desert.
Course 1: scallop crudo - superb, probably my favorite course of the night
Course 2: potato gnocchi - very nice
Course 3: fois gras - nice combination of savory and sweet flavors
Course 4: haddock - I am not a big fan of haddock but it was fine
Course 5: venison - very well done, I enjoyed it a lot
Course 6: three cheese board - interesting cheeses from around New England
Course 7: cream cookies and peaches deserts. The desert was disappointing, there were three different things on the plate, and I did like any of them. Almost everything was left on the plate, this is so unlike me.
Between course 4 and 5 we were served a sober, it was very nice. I wish we had a lemon sorbet at the end as the desert, that would have finished the dinner better than very sweet creamy options.

Had a really amazing night celebrating our courthouse wedding. The food was delicious and the staff made the night feel very special! Will be coming back for every special occasion from now on.

Gracie’s is such an experience! We did the tasting menu on a slower night, and it was perfect! The servers were knowledgeable about the wines being paired, and had just as much enthusiasm about the food coming out as we did. Truly a delightful experience! We would go more, but they’re not open on Mondays & Tuesdays, which is often when we dine out… Look forward to the next special occasion we can share!

5 course tasting menu was spectacular. Every course delicious and complemented each other re different flavors and textures. A really wonderfully crafted tasting menu. Wine list has some good value options and not just special occasion ones which is always appreciated. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Ambiance is stylish but comfortable. A wonderful place to spend an evening.

Incredible meal and service. The food is at another level of sophistication with wonderful combining flavor.

A beautiful anniversary night. We chose to dine with chefs choice seven course tasting menu • First, delicious bubbles for a toast. Second, espresso martinis... yum! I was a fan. Bread was brought to the table first- devoured. The remaining courses are featured with my review. I absolutely loved the scallops... favorite dish I had! The Hudson Valley foie gras was also so flavorful. Ended the meal with an amazing dessert topped with a candle to celebrate.
Overall, I am so glad we chose Gracie’s for our special evening earlier this month. From the hospitality to the unique flavors of the meal, I would 10/10 recommend a visit!

Food was amazing, great drinks and beautiful atmosphere. We had the tasting menu for the night with the wine pairing... amazing! Must try!

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant.
I spent the evening at Gracie’s for a friend’s wedding reception. What a night! The food was incredible, and the staff went above and beyond to create the perfect atmosphere. Well…. almost perfect.
At one point my friend Jake was feeling a little tuckered out so he went to the bar to ask for his favorite drink: a vodka Red Bull. Unfortunately they do not stock Red Bull, and Jake got fussy.
4.98 stars, rounding up to 5.

We deliberately booked a room in Providence just so we could celebrate our wedding anniversary in our favorite restaurant, Gracies. Much has changed, we noticed, and all for the better. There does not seem to be any more banquettes along the window front of the restaurant. Nonetheless, we booked our reservation for our favorite table- a booth for two in an alcove. We decided to order the five course tasting menu- and with wine pairings. Each course was a real treat, and a real display of the kitchen's creative talents.

We had such an amazing anniversary dinner experience. The service was top notch, and they accommodated our vegan food request beautifully. Yes, it’s expensive, but you absolutely get your money’s worth in thoughtfulness and experience. Huge kudos to the whole team!
Tiffany Parker
I had the chefs tasting with wine pairing for a special celebration. The food was exquisite. The wines paired very well with each dish. The service was excellent. It was a truly memorable evening!

I had rented an event room.
The event was perfect.
The communication and planning leading up to the event could've been better though.
In the months leading up to the event, it would often take many business days to receive an email back. The day of the event I was told I would be checked in with often as I was decorating the event room and may have questions. On the day of the event, it took hours for anyone to respond back to me. I was let in to decorate and then was left alone, which was fine.
There were many topics of conversation that became misunderstandings; However it all worked out smoothly in the end! The team worked super hard to ensure the night was beautiful when it came to!

The 7 course tasting menu and wine pairing were amazing! Well worth the cost. The ambiance is romantic and cozy. The perfect spot for a special date night.

There are restaurants and then there’s Gracie’s. If you are looking for a memorable dining experience, with spectacular service and five-star presentation of food this is the special place for your occasion. Thank you Jim and the entire Gracie’s staff for making our anniversary celebration perfect.

Always an amazing experience and perfect meal. They were so kind and thoughtful with a card for our anniversary and champagne toast. They go the extra mile and it shows in their food and service.

5 star experience every time we go to Gracie's! Service is unbeatable, food is great! Everything you want and expect from a fine dining experience! Will always keep coming back!
Mike Donohue
We went with a large group (10 people) and did the tasting menu with the wine pairing. It is not cheap and one of those outing you file under experience and not just dinner. The staff was very good and attentive and while the whole table did the tasting menu, the kitchen was able to accommodate multiple changes (no seafood, vegetarian, pescetarian). All used seasonal ingredients really well. Some dishes were better than others. No dish was an outright flop. The wine pairings were a little disappointing but that may depend on your palette. We had many wines that tended toward the sweet side. Overall, I'm glad I ate here and I'm glad a restaurant of this quality is thriving in Providence but that 7 course menu with wine is a steep cost with gratuity. Go for a very very special occasion but becoming a 'regular' would break my budget.
Robert Green
The 5 course tasting menu was not well curated. Serving bread and butter to start with Japanese inspired fluke followed by Italian orecchiette does not allow for an experience to build upon. The dessert of small cheese cake bites was also disappointing- reminded me of something I’ve purchased in the freezer section at Trader Joes. Not thrilled to have spent nearly $600 for this experience.
Stephanie Janes
We had one of the most enjoyable dining experiences ever at Gracie’s! Someone recommended the restaurant and it did not disappoint. The servers were so friendly and outgoing, the meal was delicious, and we left so happy. We got the three course prix fine and each chose different things so we could taste them. I got the beet salad, char fish, and strawberry cake; my husband got the gnocchi, pasta main, and the honey cake. They also gave us sorbet between appetizers. I would 10000% recommend you come here!
Michael Boyd
Absolutely outstanding food, so many flavors. The staff was remarkable, attentive, and had plenty of knowledge of the food and menu. The atmosphere was exquisite. Very high end. I went during restaurant month and had a whole 3 course meal for under $40 and split it and was a decent amount of food. If you're ever in town check this place out 4 sure.

We had the most amazing anniversary dinner last night at Gracie's. It was our first time visiting Gracie's and will now be our official date night location. On behalf of Chris and I to all the staff that made it such a relaxing evening filled with one of the best meals we have ever had (Top 3!) Thank you and see you again soon!
Nicholas Garza
The only negative I have is we waited a while for our reservation to be fulfilled. I was annoyed enough at this that, at the time, I was thinking this was going to be a bad experience, but the rest of the experience made that fade quickly.
We came here to celebrate anniversary, and Gracie's made that a huge success. Some complimentary celebratory champagne and a table with confetti and a lovely note made for some wonderful extras. The food was amazing, and the prixe fix menu is actually pretty reasonable as far as price goes (especially given the quality). I'd gladly return to try the tasting menu.
Lauren Tellier
My wife and I love Gracie's and she took me to the event " Sucre: a Sticky Sweet Tasting Soiree" which was a 4 course dessert tasting. It was starring 4 great local pastry chefs. It started with a cocktail hour and snacks, which each chef prepared a snack of their own, which were all delicious. Then each chef had a dessert course with a cocktail pairing. The desserts and cocktails were very creative and were things that you would not see on an ordinary menu. Each chef explained their dish and it was fantastic to get to hear about their creation. All in all, it was an amazing experience! Excellent job Gracie's!!

What I liked: the food and wines are very good. I ordered the 9-course tasting with wine pairings and I was impressed by the diversity of plates served to me, none of which were listed on Gracie's other menus. The highlight for me was the peppery "Venison" topped with poached beef bone marrow, served with a broccoli covered in a sticky parmesan butter foundue -- a revelatory sauce. I also enjoyed the multiple seasonal desserts, including the "Banana Cake with Brown Butter Ice Cream" and the "Ginger Cake." Pairings were on-point, and the "Domaine Pierre Gelin Fixin, Côte de Nuits, Bourgogne (2012)" was the highlight of many fantastic wines. Service was good, as you'd expect -- though perhaps not at the same obsequious level as you’d get in similarly-priced venues in Boston or New York. It seems this restaurant serves two masters: a serious dining crowd that is here for dégustations, and a more casual crowd here that will order chicken and potato dishes, brought in because they've "heard Gracie's is good."
What I disliked: the lighting here is too dark. I was here for the food and could barely discern what was on my plate. For the kitchen to come up with such elaborate platings and for diners to not be able to see them is a shame. I can understand the "intimate-lit" atmosphere the restaurant is trying to create, but it is not food-friendly. Also, while most dishes were good-to-great, there was nothing fantastically creative done here, and there were some clear misses. The "Duck-Fat Cornbread" bread selection was plain. The "Yellowtail Tuna Crudo" was a touch too fishy for a raw dish -- I questioned its freshness. Additionally, some bites of the yellowtail dish were too salty, and others not salted at all. Not a favorite. While the "Hudson Valley Foie Gras" dish was competent, I personally dislike foie gras served "en torchon," as it is here -- unless you're doing something very clever (like making foie gras gravy or sauces or foams) I believe it to be a waste to not pan-sear foie gras, but that's personal preference.
Overall: While far from the best tasting I've had this year, I enjoyed it. I doubt I'll be back though. For the same amount of money, COAST in Westerly delivers a superior and more innovative chef-driven dégustation experience.

We had an amazing experience, with the 5-course tasting menu! The atmosphere inside is really nice, and the food was delicious!

Gracie's, what can I say they are the epitome of grace, my wife and I celebrated our 17th year together there, 2yr married + 15 years as samboer (Norwegian). It was an amazing experience, we enjoyed the 7 course chefs tasting menu with the accompanying wine pairing. While it was most definitely an extravagant meal in celebration of our union it was fitting and worth every penny for us. Our service was outstanding from Lex, and Jim. The food was extravagant and luxurious. We stated to the night with a champagne toast, then we went outside of the tasting menu and selected be from the snack and cocktail menu an order of mixed Mediterranean olives and two beverages the, thank you Mr. Narwhal and the heat miser all super tasty and awesome. We then had a course of tuna crudo t justhat was amazing the fish was so fresh, chilled, and refreshing. The next course was a gnocchi dish with st. The
ewed tomatoes and groccli rabe, the dish was great the gnochi melted in our mouths. The third course was a Hudson valley froi gras dish that was a play on peanut butter and jelly... It was amazing 😍. The fourth course was a swordfish with kalevand curry sauce that was so good. I have not had a better piece of swordfish, this was fresh and sweet, yummy. The firth course was a seared duck breast with brussel sprouts and a cherry sauce (maybe a gastric)
Magnifico Juandissimo
First time I’ve ever been was over The Weeknd . It’s a nice little spot they have .The interior was decorated lovely . The staff very knowledgeable and friendly— but not the over your shoulder kind. And the food was down to a science . A bit pricey but that’s to be expected at a place of this caliber . Now as I said the food was excellent, HOWEVER the desert I got was the opera cake because it seemed intriguing on the menu . It was the biggest mistake of the year .the cake itself seemed great but the center has a jello type substance which was not very good and the apricot was bland I ate around the center . we can’t all be perfect . still 5 stars for a great evening

My wife took me for my birthday and we did the 5 course tasting with wine. I had never been and always seen great reviews. I really enjoyed it! The service was great, food was delicious, and atmosphere was awesome. Would go back again for sure!

From A CIA graduate, this restaurant is an Absolute Must. My favorite around. That includes everything here in Boston. Puts Ramsey's and Aquitaine and others alike. Always beautifully constructed plates that make sense and work with the seasons. There's a reason they have been around for so long. Keep up the amazing work. See you soon!
michael rosenblum
Service is wonderful, and the food is well prepared, Beautifully and presented. If you go during restaurant week, the 3 course meal is a great value. Also convenient to the PPAC.
Jennifer Hill
We did the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was delicious and the wines paired nicely with each course. Would highly recommend!
Matthew Bohne
Always a delicious surprise. We have been dining at Gracie's for over 10 years and it was the first meals at Gracie's that encouraged an appreciation for how transformative enjoying great food, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere can be!
Megan Rotkowitz
Such a beautiful place! My company rented out one of the rooms downstairs for team dinner. The bartender was so great and really made my night after my Providence-parking-meltdown. This picture is of butter served on a rock at the table setting. Food was excellent and the service made me feel like royalty!
Michele Bailey, Founding Agent Compass 30A
One of the best meals I’ve had in months. Exceptional service by the bartender. And they serve the butter for the bread on a rock. That’s just kind of crazy cool
Meng Choy
An elegant and classy place to dine. Food is great and there is care in the service. They made the best classic creme brulee in my opinion.
James LaSalle
Absolutely fantastic cuisine! Excellent flavors and presentation. We enjoyed the 5 course chef's tasting. It was full of dishes we would not ordinarily order. Asparagus, duck, gnocchi, black bass were all extra ordinary. We were there for our anniversary and they had a card for us, a champagne toast and the table adorned with stars. Very elegant. Thanks to Gracie's for a wonderful meal!
Darien
Did the 5 course chef's tasting with wine pairing. Amazing.
Steve Fullerton
The service is top notch. Every staff member is there to insure your meal meets all expectations. Then there's the food. Blending traditional with new unique twists. The wine pairings we're thought out and match the chef's offerings very well.
Nora Lyons
Everything was great, chefs tasting was well worth it. My only issue was that the server did not mention the automatic gratuity. I ended up tipping 20% on top of the added gratuity and didn’t realize until later. It is mentioned on the receipt, but I think it should be mentioned by servers when presented with the bill.
Michael Sciarrotta
Wonderful dining experience.
Excellent flavors, presentation
And service. Loved the tasting
Menu paired with wines. Look forward to my next visit to Providence.
Emily London
I rarely write reviews but this one is much deserved! My fiancé proposed to me here and it was the most memorable night. We did the chefs tasting and everything we had was amazing. We loved the ambiance and how attentive the staff were. We try new restaurants and food all the time and this was quite the experience! Thank you for making our engagement unforgettable. We will be back!
Ashley Stetson
I eat out often and go far and wide looking for good restaurants......this is the BEST place I have EVER had a meal! The tastings are a gift from above for anyone who thoroughly appreciates and enjoys food. I cannot say enough from the atmosphere to the amazing service. Gracies is something I always crave and look forward too!
Ziki
Foie Gras was great. The steak and the duck weren't as great. Desserts I would skip.

Very nice restaurant. Gourmet food, excellent wine list. High end

Lex, thank you for such fantastic service. We had a terffic evening enjoying a beautiful presentation of food and cocktails but the service was what made the whole experience unforgettable. We will be coming back to Gracie's for another girls night soon!
Saarah Khan
Absolutely amazing! Everything from the host, to our table, to our server Jim, was excellent. The food is phenomenal and for every course, they changed out the silverware, which is served in a little wooden box. We came for our anniversary and they had our table decorated with stars/ glittery confetti, a little handwritten note, and complimentary champagne. Soo cute!!! Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had!
Erica Bello
Great food and staff. We came on a Saturday night thinking we had a reservation but accidentally made it for Sunday. The staff was very understanding and helped us get a table all while being lovely and accommodating. The food and drinks were also stellar. A wonderful experience all around.
Trevor
My favorite spot in downtown for fine, yet not pretentious, dining. Food is absolutely delicious and the staff is wonderful. Very warm and attentive.
Patrick Dorcena
I wanted to thank the staff at Gracie's. I celebrated my wedding anniversary there and had a magical night. Haillie, Ian, and Jen were phenomenal. I recommend Gracie's to everyone that wants to have an exceptional experience. The wine room was enchanting, something memorable. For sure.
Yves Nau
We drove from Boston to Providence to try Gracie's during restaurant week( which they are extending all month) and we were not disappointed.
Pulled up decided to valet, surprise! Valet is complimentary!
Once seated, the decor is tasteful and modern -- fine dining with a 2020 edge and a good wave of energy.
The 3 course meal was $34.95 each and everything tasted wonderful. Tasty bread, carrot-ginger gazpacho, tender rich gnocchi, fresh beets straight from a local farm, a lemon-lime palate refresher before the main course and then crispy, but moist and fresh, flavorful swordfish.
All that followed by dessert that tasted and looked like they have a world-class baker in their kitchen. Did I mention that the cocktails were crafty -- a la bourbon sweet potato blended so smoothly? YES, a sweet potato bourbon cocktail.
All of that and 5-Star, but not snobby, courteous and timely service. We enjoyed every moment and highly recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE reading this review. We are foodies and go out every Wednesday to a different restaurant, so trust me, we know a good restaurant or two.
Go to Gracie's and enjoy yourself, on us. You're welcome!
Itamar Ronen
Whenever we go to Providence, and it is almost every year, we eat at Gracie's. The creativity, the quality of the ingredients and the resulting dishes, and the beautiful ambience and excellent service keep bringing us back again and again. And so to next year!
P Park
Fantastic food, wine and service. The atmosphere is great. We did the three course prix fixe menu with wine pairing. The third in our party was a vegetarian, otherwise we would have done the chef's choice. The best dining experience we have had in a number of years. Bravo!
Leah Weimann
Great service and beautiful dinner as always. A memorable meal!
robitza zzz
beautiful service, cocktails, food, and wine. easily the best dry aged ribeye i’ve had—by far. they know what they’re doing.
recommend.
Merrill C
Superb service, went for a birthday dinner and the staff at Gracie's made it special! Food was fabulous- foie gras was delicious as was the duck! Great place to celebrate!
Sakoun Phommavongsa
The reviews are true. We came for restaurant week and everything from the food to the service was excellent. The reservation process was smooth and we were seated promptly. The ambience is very cozy and perfect for a special occasion. The server asked us if we were on a time restriction, which I thought was considerate. We told him we weren’t, so they did not rush us at all.
I ordered the russet potato gnocchi, crescent duckling, and creme brûlée. Everything was delicious, but dessert was definitely my favorite. Between each course, we were given various tastings that were also great.
The valet even leaves a pack of cookies in your car! Overall, we had a nice experience and will definitely be back.
Jessica M
Fantastic, personable service. Meals are unique and what a wonderful and unexpected pairing of flavors for each cohesive dish. Loved the foie gras!!!!!!
Valerie Bento
It was a wonderful intimate dinner with my son and his lady! Top notch service. 👌
Eli Sullivan
Incredible contemporary cuisine made from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
Sheryl Ryckebusch
This is a gem of a restaurant! We celebrated our anniversary there last night and did the 7-course tasting menu. It was extraordinary both in flavor profile and presentation. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and truly enhanced the experience. The proverbial icing on the cake was getting in our car from valet parking to find a little bag of 2 cookies. Really a memorable experience — bravo!
Ann-Marie Lefaivre
Wonderful service and delicious food from start to finish! After I made a reservation the staff called me to tell me there is complimentary valet because it's raining out they thought we should know that . Very considerate and appreciated ! We shared the cheese platter, ricotta rigatoni, scallops and blueberry chocolate tart. We also enjoyed all the little small touches... A variety of breads, intermezzo between courses, mint macaroons at the end and chocolate chip cookies in my truck when we retrieved it from valet! Nice work!!!
Christina Cullen
This place is phenomenal. We have had the Chef's 7 course tasting and wine pairing several times and it's never disappointed. We once had a group of 2 vegans, 1 vegetarian with a gluten allergy and 5 regular diet diners and he hit it out of the park for all of us!!
Andrea Michele
I cannot write enough good things about Gracie's. Food is wonderful and not the run of the mill standard. Great service. Great for a romantic dinner or an elegant dinner with friends. It is a but pricey but worth it.
Mike Murphy
Amazing! I thought because the prices were higher and the restaurant so fancy the wait staff would be pretentious. They were real wonderful helpful and funny people who made our first anniversary wonderful. They had a note for us and champagne. They guided is though the fantastic menu and made us feel comfortable. I recommend this for all occasions.
Ali Bormann
I love love love Gracies. They literally never disappoint, the atmosphere is amazing and elegant. The food is out of this world and it’s such a masterpiece of art. The new update since Covid is actually really nice with the separating of tables and not being seated right next to each other. Maybe should invest in this for the future!
Dan Alves
Fine dining with staff committed to the brand. Very good food and the plating is no less than artistic. From seafood to steak, the menu includes a Chef’s choice with multiple course selections. Add the wine pairing and you can partake in a foodie’s heaven. If you have a special day and want to celebrate with real nice dining experience, you can’t go wrong with Gracie’s.
Eric G
Me and my girlfriend celebrated our birthday here and they made us feel very special. From the cool little stars on the table and happy birthday day card, to the champagne toast and birthday candles the experience was top notch. The food was fantastic. We end up getting the 9 course Chef tasting and every dish was like magic in our mouths. You could tell that they put a lot of thought in each dish and the out come was truly mind blowing. Would definitely come back and eat here again.
July V
The service here is impeccable, matching perfectly with the incredible food they create. 7 course Chef’s Tasting blew my mind and the non alcoholic pairings were outrageously delicious. Not enough words to describe the amazing experience I have every time I set foot into Gracie’s. Reservations are a must but EVERYTHING on the menu is a must try.
Dave C
This place is amazing. We did the tasting menu and it was all around fantastic. I've read some negative reviews about the food and how they don't cater to custom orders. This isn't that type of place. Go to a regular mid level restaurant if you want that. If you want amazing food selected and prepared by professionally trained chefs then this is the place. You MUST be open minded about food. You absolutely cannot be a picky eater and get the tasting menu. That's setting yourself up for failure. If you have any allergies or things you absolutely dislike they will cater to that in a limited fashion or recommend a ala carte dish for you. The best part of the experience is not know what's coming. Nothing we had was really exotic or anything. Scallops, duck, and salmon were the proteins. It wasn't cheap but great food isn't. Absolutely worth it though.
Lisa Carter
Grace's is a gem. The bar staff is very friendly and professional. The cocktails were beautifully presented. We enjoyed a buratta and beet salad. Looking forward to going back fir the chefs tasting menu.
Jesse Carr
Gracie's is a place that you need to buy into the idea that the chef is right no matter what. Personally, not a fan particularly given the high end prices of everything on the menu. The quality is very high and for many, its a great experience.
The best example I have of my times at Gracie's was my father asking for salt as none was on the table a few years ago. The response: "The meal has already been properly seasoned sir". He insists that he would like some salt for his main course. The waiter insists that my father won't/can't get it. So he picks up his plate and threatens to hurl it against the wall. That worked and we got some salt for the table. Really shouldn't require so much work to get salt.

The food is GOOD. I had the beet salad, expertly-prepared duck, and a fun dessert. The vibe is fun and classy, but not uppity. Smiles on all of the wait staff and bartenders. We did a large corporate event there, and the reviews were terrific. Bit pricey, but worth a visit.
Ross Price
One of our favorite spots in Providence. You will have a wonderful time if you are okay with spending a bit more money. The staff are unbelievably friendly and considerate, the food reminds me of a great novel. I booked a table for my wife's birthday and they gave us a special table, wrote a card and decorated our table. Would recommend to all my friends.

I had another 5 Star meal last night here. This restaurant is always at the top of their game!
Chef Matt and his team create delightful dishes exploding with flavor. I chose the five course tasting menu and from the amuse bouche to dessert, my palate was very happy! The food is next level. Their Sommelier (Alan) is extremely knowledgeable and pairs incredible wines to complete perfect dishes. The service is always impeccable, yet not stiff. They all have great personalities and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. I always say going here is like going to the theatre and it’s an experience you’ll never forget.
Bertram Malle
I have been here many times, with some good experiences, some not so good. For a restaurant at these prices, consistency in service and food quality should not be an issue, but it has been over the years. Particularly disappointing is the lack of creativity the menu doesn't change enough, so when you go more frequently you pick from very similar options. Wine selections are excellent but very expensive. It's a popular place, and apparently they don't feel the need to change their concept; but for the more adventurous eater there are several better, and more reasonably priced options in town (e.g., birch, Oberlin, Persimmon, Nick's on Broadway, New Rivers, Big King, North).
Andrew Abraham
The wine cellar is a perfect private room for a table of 6-8.
Michael Parsons
Gracies was exceptional. The food came out fast and there were many good options. Worth every penny!
Lee N
Amazing service. Amazing food. Great cocktails and wine selection. Great with gluten free.
Sina Schlegel
we had a wonderful time at Gracie's! the service is excellent even if you take the restaurant week offer: very friendly, helpful and fast. the 3 courses were perfect timed and crazy delicious. We got 3 little things in between, which very great too. the prizes aren't cheap, but it's absolutely worth it! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very nice and the car service is great too :-) I can absolutely recommend this exclusive restaurant.
Ben S
Caveat - Review is only for their chef's tasting menu which my wife and I have done numerous times. Plates are imaginative, service is impeccable, and the overall experience is top-notch. Highly recommend if you have an open mind and a pallet that is ready for adventure. Quite expensive - but worth every penny in my opinion.

Gracie's was spectacular as usual. The last time we visited we had the tasting menu which was an incredible dining experience. This time we each had an appetizer. I had the Baby Green Salad with Bleu Cheese, Red Onion and Potato Crisps. The portion was perfect and the salad was delicious. He had the Gnocchi with Lamb and Peas, the Gnocchi's were tender, the way we like them and the dish came together perfectly. For dinner I had the Vegetable Tasting Entree. Well it was more like three small entrees, all put together beautifuly. You really should give this a try, the dish changes seasonally so there is always a pleasant surprise. There were so many bright, tasty components on the 3 dishes that I could write a paragraph on each so I will keep it short by saying this is the first time that I ever had oats prepared in the savory style and they were delicious! I had a ravioli dish with fresh greens and roasted vegetables and also a pickled cucumber and hummus plate with Feta Cheese and delicate crispy crackers. My husband had what looked like a pan roasted bass or stryper, but to be honest I was so taken with my vegetables that I didn't pay that much attention to his dish. As for the service, the team at Gracie's is outstanding. From the moment you walked through the door you are treated like royalty. The attitude and professionalism of the team combined with the warm friendly but still somewhat private atmosphere is the reason Gracie's is my favorite restaurant to visit in Providence.

When you want a really special superb meal, this is the place to go. It's the perfect setting for special occasions they take great care of you and all of the food is top-notch. I'm never disappointed and having a meal there feels like going on vacation. Only better because you don't have to pack and drag luggage. Enjoy

Had an absolutely delightful evening. We enjoyed the adventure of the 7 course tasting paired with wine and they were happy to make everything gluten free for me. Service was excellent and super friendly. Very comfortable atmosphere, everything is top notch. Can't wait to go back!

As a serious food lover it gets harder and harder to find restaurants that can meet the bar that has been set by previous adventures. Gracie's did superb job jumping over the bar and nailed the landing. We did the tasting menu and loved each of the dishes. The atmosphere is cozy but unpretentious. You can dress however you'd like. We wore jeans and casual shirts after a long day of flying and walking in the rain. Our service was not altered by our more casual outfits. Elizabeth and Rich took excellent care of us and offered welcomed recommendations for the evening and the rest of our trip. Being from the midwest we really wanted only seafood (all amazing) but we were blown away by the wagyu course! This is a must-stop if you are in providence, even for only 1 night.

First time we dined here, a gastronomical treat, dining at its finest. From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends it was a special night out for us. A 6 plus star experience at a 5 star restaurant. We would highly recommend dining at Gracie's. We chose the seven course diner with wine pairing. The quantity of food and wine was perfect, and left us feeling satiated, anymore would have been to much. The food was prepared and paired perfectly. Service was outstanding. Bon appetit!!

Fine dining in down-town Providence and a great atmosphere. This is a place where you can relax with friends or close a business deal. The ambience, great food and service make the time fly by and you'll enjoy every moment.
The menu is by sample courses, a la carte or prix fixe. The menu changes frequently and dishes are Gracie's take on a wide variety of world cuisines. The wine and drinks selection are good picks.
Reasonable pricing for upmarket dining but certainly worth it. No empty tables so worth making a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Atmosphere, service, food was impeccable. Sexy, delicious.. Everything.. I suggest you all visit this place as least once. It's something special❤

Absolute lovely dining experience. Each dish was beautiful. Our dessert, was not as enjoyable.. they pushed to many flavors into one bowl, it all to got lost and muddled. However, everything else was on point.
Tim McMahon
Wonderful ambiance in this upscale eatery. Service was impeccable as was the knowledge of our waitstaff. We had the cheeseboard - a very nice pairing of cheeses, and accouterments. Our entrees were Gracie’s Rigatoni Campanaro with sweet & spicy sausage, plum tomato, green onion, ricotta salata. A truly enjoyable topper to a nice evening at the theater on a brisk fall night.

Let me start by saying my husband and I moved here in 2003 from Boston. His coworker suggested we go to Gracie's when he asked for a good restaurant recommendation. Back then Gracie's was a small, intimate place on Atwell's Ave. We instantly fell in love! For young newlyweds it was a little pricey but we decided it would be our go to place for special occasions. Over the years we've tried other restaurants in the Providence area but none have lived up to the food, service and overall exceptional experience we always had at Gracie's. When the moved to their current location I remember thinking to myself that one day we would host a special celebration there - and we did. My husband's 40th birthday was held in the private room downstairs and the entire planning process and party itself were above and beyond! I never take the time to write such long reviews, but after our dinner last night and 15 years of dinning at Gracie's I had to take the time to sit down and give my praise. Five stars!!! P.S. The cookies left in the car by the valet drivers is a sweet surprise. It's the little things that count. Thank you. :)

Had dinner reservations for gf's bday. Was pleasantly surprised that the waitress remembered, free champagne and glitter all over the table. Wine pairings with the dinner courses were excellent. I felt like a fancy hipster that night. Would eat there again.

Wonderful night out. Great food, drinks and service. Al fresco dining that I hope is here to stay. From the olives and nuts to the mains to desert all was excellent. Definitely will return.

This may be lengthy. My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary there. This was first time there, I read great reviews about this place. There are 2 options as to ordering food, you can order a la cartel or choose a pre fixe meal with 3, 5, 7 or 9 courses. In the pre fixe meal you get about 4 bites, and you can choose what you dont want. We never had a pre fixe meal so we were down for something new, they offer a wine pairing for the meal, we dont drink so we choose a non alcoholic pairing instead. We choose the 5 course meal, it stared with and egg salad type started, it wasn't a course but a pallet cleanser, then a salad with peaches bacon on top of ricotta cheese, then a bowl with gnocchi followed by Vela sweetbreads and our final course was a flourless chocolate cake. The food was absolutely fantastic. With th non alcoholic pairing the different drink were a slanted lemonade, that started a little rough but finished smooth, then a lemonade with red peppers, were delish, the 3rd was a cucumber with tarragon we didn't like it so we put it to the side. One of the servers came by and noticed we didn't like it and offered us a replacement, it was a strawberry lemonade with hibiscus orange peels and lemongrass, wow that was delicious!!!! The staff here is incredible. From the hostess who remembered it was our anniversary to every person in that place worked to help each other, our server was busy so another would drop off our food and explain the dish to us. Yes each dish was about four bites but the time we finished our meal we were satisfied. Not overfill, but very happy. I absolutely reccomend this place, it is pricey but you get what you pay for.

Amazzzzingggggg!
I could go on and on and on... Wow what a hidden gem. I had the 9 course prix fix menu and it was spectacular!!!
Service and food quality are top notch.
They could do much better with the decor and scheme of the restaurant.
The food was so good that it deserves a more chic atmosphere dripping in hints of regality and sophistication. It wasnt bad looking... The food just allows for the ambiance to be cutting edge...
I paid a hefty price tag for the meal with 9 different wine pairings, and i would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
The duck liver with concord grapes was supercalafragalisticexpialadocious!!

Our family of five dined at Los Andes for the first time. What a delight! We had reservations and were seated right away. Christian was our server and after settling with cocktails he guided our choices for apps and entrees. The creviche martini and the Causa Limena ( chilled whipped potato stuffed with avocado cream and topped with shredded chicken) were both excellent ! Two of the fish entrees, a steak dish and a chicken dish were delicious. We were all happy with our food and left with some leftovers too. We were celebrating a birthday. After I told the waiter he returned with a fabulous cake made by the owners mother! It was garnished w strawberries and had the birthday girls name written in chocolate on the plate! The manager spoke with us twice and we happily told him we will definitely return. We were there early evening on a Sunday. The place was packed. Many families dining as well as groups of friends and couples.

One of our favorite places in pvdc. Excellent service, well thought out menu and innovative flavors. The only downside is the high level of noise and our inability (a table of three people) to hear each other without having to shout.
Congratulations on the James Beard Award nominations! Well deserved.

Overall, a subpar experience. I put a lot of faith in the reviews I had read and was expecting a lot from Gracie’s and unfortunately they disappointed.
For starters, reservations are made on OpenTable and we had booked for 9pm. We had to wait 45 minutes to be seated and they seated 5-6 tables before we finally went up and complained that we had been waiting 45 minutes past our reservation time. They then seated us a few minutes later at their supposed “best seat in the house” to correct the faux pax but it seemed they just wanted us near the hostess so they could have 4 people checking on us. Rather than feeling like it was fine dining service it was actually very intrusive and I couldn’t really converse with my friend.
Onto the food, we ordered a 3 course tasting menu with wine pairings and it took so long for each of the courses to come out that they offered us bread 6 times between courses. The second course took so long they needed to refill the wine they had poured to be paired with our second course, much appreciated but it shouldn’t have been necessary. The food itself was underwhelming. The gnocchi tasted like dirt (I’m assuming because of the watercrest), vegetable entree was underwhelming and duck confit did not have crispy skin or the tenderness expected, and the creme brûlée and chocolate cake were uninspired. The whole meal seemed like something I could’ve gotten from the Olive Garden (probably with better portions).
People kept apologizing all night that what kept happening was not their normal standard. I am not a novice in fine dining and it seemed that they simply did not have the fine dining basics down from the wait time to the uninspired plating and dingy silverware. Not somewhere I will be trying again simply due to the price. I believe you should get what you paid for and this was not worth the amount that I paid considering their 5 course tasting menu with wine is $135 per person.

Although nothing on the menu really caught my eye, the execution of every course was simply spectacular alongside superb service.
After throwing in the best complimentary artisan cheese-plate with a set of descriptions too long and fancy for my commoner brain to process, a perfectly-baked eggnog macaron to further satisfy my sweet tooth, and lastly an adorable thank you card offering me free drinks for the next visit... Gracie's had me completely head over heels, and I just wanted to put a ring on it
Simei Carrizales
Everything about this restaurant was amazing. Every plate was just as delicious as the next. The service was spectacular. It is pricey, but I think the price matches the quality of the food and the service. Definitely would recommend for a special occasion or just a really nice date.
Justin Dowlat
Tried the 7 course tasting menu for the first time today and was not disappointed. This included a duck confit ragu that was amazing and probably one of the best prepared venison I've ever had. Would recommend for adventurous eaters the "savory" tasting menu (there is also a "sweet" tasting menu that includes more desserts). Didn't do the wine pairings today.
Aaron Cushing
The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious! The gnocchi is a MUST have. Great place to have a gathering (wedding reception etc.)
Gracie Moses
Coming here for my birthday was the biggest treat. They made me feel like a princess. Greeted my family and I with a toast of champagne. The food and service was one of the best experiences I’ve had at any fine dining restaurant.
Devlen Legrand
This was our fourth visit for the last 16 months, it was restaurant week again & we have the prefix course bout decided to try the 3 courses dessert menu in place of the standard selection. They never failed to surprise me with their creative choice & unique favor. Their valet parking was an add on bonus since we were there for the coldest day of the year -17C without wind chill!
Owen Bligh
The only disappointment is that Google doesn't allow me to give more than 5 stars, because now I am disappointed that previous places I have given 5 stars are put on the same level as Gracie's. Everything was simply AMAZING. The nice touches between courses, the attentive but not overbearing service, the FOOD, and more. We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening.
Brittany Polion
The stars are mostly for the staff. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was decent. I've had better dishes/wine pairings in Providence for far less money. I wouldn't go back.
Jason Colby
Possibly the finest restaurant in the state. Try one of the tasting menus - you will be brought course after course of the most amazing, beautiful food you have ever experienced. The gnocchi are transcendent. (One might not think gnocchi could be transcendent. And yet they are.)
Jim Ranes
Excellent service and haute cuisine! Gracie's is one of our favorite restaurants in Providence! The presentation of the cuisine is simply superb and the quality, freshness and taste each course of food is consistently quite impressive! The value of the Gracie's experience including valet parking, service, ambience and of course the outstanding menu is five star!
Anne Merrill
The parsnip soup is amazing. Also, the candied kumquat that comes with the duckling, yum. If I were going to go there again, I would call and reserve the super cool booth.
Jason Dougherty
We always enjoy Gracie's. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The entire experience is a treat every time.
Logan Roberts
I was on a family vacation in the city and my wife decided to have dinner here. We found that there was a very interesting menu, but what made us stunned was the Long Island Duckling. So flavorful and delicious. For dessert my wife enjoyed the Gracie's Crème Brûlée. Definitely one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten.
Diane Poisson
Family wedding - amazing tastes and pleasing presentation! Waite staff friendly, unobtrusive and efficient! Excellent atmosphere too!
Lori Parent
Business dinner tonight! Ian and Gabriel were great servers. Food timely and just so delicious it was worth the commentary. Every thing we had...charcuterie, monkfish, pork tenderloin, octopus, sweetbreads...perfect.
Atmosphere just right. Twinkling lights, comfortable and elegant at the same time.
Gracie's wind!
Russ Dexter
My wife and I loved the food at Gracie's but found the service out of sync.
The heirloom and cheese appertizer was delicious and the gnocchi interesting with more chard and other goodies than gnocchi.
The duck was cooked to perfection, medium rare, with interesting sauces and my wife loved the Chatham cod that was very fresh and had a wonderful tarpenade. The tarpenade was loaded with strong flavors that brought the cod to a higher level than you'd normally find.
My wife's crime brûlée was warmed nicely with blueberries on top while my blueberry frangipane had mascarpone, ice cream, honey meringue and was wonderful.
The noise level was very reasonable for a Providence restaurant. You could have a conversation without shouting.
They did have problems coordinating everything. They couldn't seat us until 15 minutes after our reservation. Our appertizers came before our drinks so we had them take the drinks back. Scotch doesn't go well with tomatoes. Our dinner took so long to come out that they gave us a free glass of wine to make up for the delay.
Normally, we don't go to restaurants that can't honor their reservations but the food was so good we'll give Gracie's another try.
Nathaniel Gill
Beautiful ambience, delicious wine and foie gras. Always an excellent experience here at Gracie's. The staff even remembered I was gluten free and had substitutes ready for everything for me, best restaurant in Providence.
Lori Willis
When I saw that Gracie's was participating in Restaurant Week and it was so highly rated, I book my reservation and it was WELL WORTH It. The service was amazing, Nicole was wonderful and worked hard to make our experience with a party of 6 over the top. Highly recommend GRACIE's.
stacey katz
Gracie's just catered our daughter's wedding and the food was off-the-charts, amazing!! We are continuing to get emails from guests about it being the most delicious wedding ever, and so very beautiful. There were friends who did not want to leave the appetizers because the charcuterie table was that good! Several guests are serious foodies and quite critical, and they uniformly sang Gracie's praises. When we sat for dinner, the salad came, filled with the most beautiful and delicious edible flowers--it was a work of art. I have seen almost as many photos of that salad, as I've seen of the people at the wedding. And it tasted as good as it looked. The fish and the meat were fantastic and the fresh spring vegetables were heavenly. My only regret was not having enough room to eat the full assortment of the most beautiful and delicious desserts that Gracie's had to offer. From chocolate confections to mini passionfruit madeleines, to baby doughnut holes with the most yummy, surprising fillingsthey alone merit a return trip to Providence. The folks at Gracies are a joy to work with; they were so very helpful throughout the planning, rehearsal and all evening at the actual event. Shout out to Kendal Fitzsimmons and her assistant Andrea, outstanding event planners!
D Hummel
The quality of food and service in this restaurant is beyond compare. The servers are attentive and helpful and enthusiastically provide full details of the food source and how the animals were raised. The cost is not inexpensive but the results were definitely worth it. This was a highlight of our time in Providence. Would definitely return next time we are in town.
Scott Duquette
incredible food, attentive service, wild and eye opening menu. absolutely do the chef's tasting, it's worth the money for the experience. portions are on the small side so take advantage of the free bread that comes around!
Danielsan B
If someone asked, "what restaurant has the best SERVICE in Providence", I'd be hard-pressed to decide between Persimmon and Gracie's. But, if someone asked what restaurant had the best FOOD in Providence, I don't think there would be much of a contest.
It's not that the food is IN ANYsense of the word "bad", it's that it's not memorable. Two nights after dining at Gracie's, friends asked what we had. We struggled (and not because of wine) to recall what it was. It was sufficiently delicate and exotic, came on giant plates, but as we ate, we kept searching for the focus; what's the POINT of the dish? It felt like overly adorning something already making its own point; like decorating your telvision.
Gracie's might be five-stars in my book if the price was 2/3 what it is. You will never hear me use the phrase, "You get your money's worth", but when the bill arrives - regardless of how large or small it is - you either feel justified or slightly robbed. Gracie's left me somewere toward the latter; what I'd described as "wanting".
Given the plethora of FAR more creative restaurants in Providence, I don't think Gracie's is "all that".
Colin Heroux
Remarkable!
This is an excellent choice for a special occasion, or a great dining experience. It is very memorable. From the service, food, drink, and atmosphere, everything is exceptional.
I highly recommend!
Joel Valenti
Wonderful dinner with my girlfriend! Very fine dining with experienced staff and valet parking. Pricey, but if you're looking for an experience then this will certainly be worth it 🙂 …
Brianna Tozier
We do the tasting menu with wine pairings every time and there has been no disappointment. The food is amazing, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.
Mara Porter
The con: menu selection is very limited.
The pro: menu limitation means every dish has been mastered to perfection thus guaranteeing that whatever you choose will be absolutely delightful.
Nice, quiet atmosphere. Come in without a rush. The complimentary sweet treat at the hostess stand was a pleasant surprise.
Avi Ensminger
I love eating here, so far I have only gotten the 3 course pre fixe with non alcoholic coctail pairings (they will do Alcoholic if asked). I plan on doing the 7 course chefs choice soon though! Lovely atmosphere and amazing food.
Dave Dennis
It was a wonderful 60th birthday celebration at Gracie's for my wife. Food, service and ambiance were perfect. The online ratings were right on. It was reminiscent of our first date. Bravo!
