The best gluten free sandwich!! As a person with celiacs disease they went above and beyond to change gloves and clean the tables before making my sandwich. The gluten free bread was delicious and separated from the rest. They also will make any request when getting extra toppings.

Cut cold Italian was top notch, fresh, tasty. Bread was fresh and soft but not squishy. Location was dirty, ingredients all over the counter and debris on the floor. Cleanliness took away the 5 star. Food and customer service were excellent.

The food is always good. Staff always looks and acts SUPER stoned. It's kinda awkward walking in to order cause they all don't really know what they're doing. They don't seem to know what "Mike's way" means. I'm not mad about it, just makes going in to order super weird. I'd rather order online and not have the super unwelcoming attitude when I'm ordering my food. 🤷 Ah well. Foods always good though so, it's kinda worth it.

Serious sandwiches only! No turkey based meats and skimping on the vegetables to make a profit. Stop messing around with $5 sandwiches, pay a little more and treat yourself to a real sandwich that's going to satisfy the appetite. Cold cuts are sliced right in front of you, fresh veggies and toppings. There are three different sizes, the mini, regular and giant. Yes they have vegetarian options as well. No, there is no excuse not to go.

The sandwiches were really good, but the store experience wasn’t too great. The manager was very nice and had a great personality, but (some) of the staff was very rude. Blank look, very monotone and asking me to repeat myself several times. It was packed but the line went really fast, even with people ordering hot sandwiches. It was 30 for three regular size sandwiches. I’ll go back but maybe right when it opens.

I'm giving this location 3 stars because it's a great chain restaurant to get lunch at. The meat and cheese gets cut fresh to each sandwhich, and the ingredients come from Boars Head. The sandwhiches are great sizes; there are lots of options, and the prices are decent. That being said, this location has always had trouble with staff, cleanliness, and organization. I've been here many times and waited 40+ minutes because the "computer wasn't printing orders" or only two people were able to work that day. I have witnessed what others have said in terms of cleanliness. Staff are not changing gloves or sanitizing between hot/cold items or from the register to the line. The counter is a mess, and sometimes the lobby is, too. The parking lot is small as it is shared. Avoid peak times as lines are out the doors, and online ordering often gets shut off.

I must admit that I was skeptical of a chain restaurant selling hoagie but Mike's Subs are great. I grew up in NJ and the subs are far superior to the "Italian" sandwich available here in Maine. Mike's subs are awesome!

Food was good. Best sub I have had in a while. My issue was with customer service. I placed my order online and was given a pick up time of 30 minutes. I arrived at the exact time and went in to get my food and had to wait an additional 20 minutes beyond what I was told. Another customer who waited less time than me was given an apology and complimentary coupons for his next visit by the manager when his sandwich was done. The manager gave me an attitude when I asked where I could get the soda that came with my order. Really?! As if all that wasn't bad enough they messed up my order too. Good food like I said but they need to get their sh*t together

First time I've ever been to a Jersey Mike's. One of the best submarine sandwiches I have ever eaten. Fresh sliced in front of you meat and cheese, awesome bread choices and fresh toppings. Also was super excited to try the agave cream soda that they had and man I was not disappointed. If I could give this review more stars it would get more stars. Closest Jersey Mike's to me is an hour and a half away and I will gladly make the drive for another sub.

The subs here are delicious. Fresh cut deli meat and ingredients. However the wait time even when you place an online order is way off. This is the 3rd time my husband and I have had to wait an hr for a sandwich even after the app told us 30 minutes. The accuracy of the app needs vast improvement. Some people don’t have an hr to wait for sandwiches, if we knew that in advance we would have chose a different place

It was very good. This location had just opened so there were a couple of minor issues. The food was very good and the staff was very nice. A very small dining area but takeout should be no problem. Will go back and try another sandwich. I got the steak and cheese.

Love that they're here in Maine. Sandwiches are great. Although so far the service isn't. First time there we ordered online ahead of time. Still waited 25 minutes outside for our food past pick up time. Someone said they were working on it like 3 times. Second time we went it was snappy but they got one of the sandwiches wrong and we discovered it only after we left and arrived at our destination. Hopefully they'll work it out. Food is worth it though.

These subs are not premade! The meat and cheeses are cut right there and are exceedingly fresh. There are bread choices, and a selection of chips as well. The sandwiches are made my way and they are delicious!

Missing free delivery - for a long time, delivery wasn't an added expense, and we used to order at least twice a week at work. Just can't do it anymore. 2.99 delivery fee plus another three or four bucks for "fees"? And a tip for the driver makes a 15 dollar lunch into a 32 dollar lunch. I can't justify the cost. What happened to free delivery? A great sandwich, but you priced me out of buying lunch when I'm at work.

The sandwich itself was pretty good, but behind the counter it was a mess. I was afraid one of the kids working back there was going to slip and fall on all the food on the floor. Be prepared for a hectic environment, quite a few workers behind the counter, but tasty sandwich. The bread was fresh and the filing was the perfect ratio.

The giant Philly steak and cheese was pretty good, plenty for my wife and I to split. The arguing staff (right in front of multiple customers) - was also plenty for me to stomach. First time eating there - might go back, but not sure.

Perhaps the best sub I've had in the Portland metro area, and yet... Like several other reviewers, I had a pretty lousy experience with the wait time, having ordered an hour in advance online, showing up on time, and still having to wait almost a half hour for my order. It looked as though there were at least 3 or 4 others in the same boat, too. The staff all appeared to be working very hard, and were very nice. One very patiently put up with a customer who was high as a kite, taking his mask off while he tried to negotiate for a free sandwich. There just seems to be something wrong with the logistics of how orders are processed and/or they may be understaffed. I think one improvement they could make is an order tracker, like Domino's and some other chains have. That way, people could get a real-time idea of how long it will take for their order, instead of an apparently often inaccurate estimate. They could also have the option of waiting outside or in their vehicle, instead of in a small and crowded interior space. I plan to give them another shot. I think this location has only been open for a few months, so hopefully they are still working out growing pains.

I'm not a fan of chain restaurants in general, but this is my favorite for sandwiches. It's like an elevated Subway sandwich restaurant. They slice the cold cuts fresh, the veggies are always fresh and the bread is delicious.

Our local Jersey Mike’s opened recently and I placed my first order using the app just a few days ago. I recommend going through the app since it’s very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I thought the sandwich was a little pricey but I did get a giant size with extra meat. And then I pick that beast up. This sandwich was a monster. There was a weight that told me I was going to be in serious trouble if I try to eat the whole thing. I tried, and I succeeded, but not very easily. Now I’m basing this review on one sandwich, and I intend to try more, but if the rest of the menu is even half as good then there should be a rating above five stars. Order the giant, and be warned. This thing put me in a food coma and I was able to skip breakfast and lunch the next day.

I love the online ordering. I did takeout on this visit. The store appeared clean and the staff was friendly. The sandwich was tasty however its priced fairly expensive, if there would have been more filings it would be a solid sandwich. I will most likely return and try other sandwiches.

A delightful juxtaposition of New England tastes with the comfort and consistency of a chain. The subs are eminently fresh and thoughtfully assembled; generous amounts of meat, but not overflowing, making them safe to eat on the couch or in the car without making a mess. The lettuce is always fresh and crunchy, and they keep well in the fridge without getting soggy.

I got a giant chipotle steak sandwich. The bread was tasty and held up well. The sandwich fillings were fresh and crispy. It was so filling that I needed a forklift to get into bed after dinner. Definitely going back.

Sandwiches are amazing. Best in Maine! Do not place online order unless you want a sandwich in an hour 20 mins. Go in person. Last online order was lost last week. This week placed an hour before pick up and still had to wait 20 minutes standing in parking lot while all the walk ins can go right in and walk out in 5 mins. Understand new business; however online ordering has glitches. Be prepared to hang out in parking lot for a long time for online ordering. Still a great sandwich and friendly staff!!

I just had my first Jersey Mike's sub from Scarborough ME and I was not disappointed. We picked it up and drove 15 minutes home and it was perfect, no soggy bread or anything like that. Foods OK but not something I’d go out of my way for. My first thought was that the prices were a little high but the regular sandwich is very filling so it’s worth it. Service is slow but that’s not the workers faults. They can only make one cold sandwich at a time which is crazy when there’s 20 people waiting outside. I think they need to add another meat slicer and sandwich area

I've been here multiple times and used in store and mobile ordering and so far every time has been excellent. Food is hot, fresh and tastes good and the customer service is exceptional. It's definitely a place I will regularly grab lunch.

I recently had an experience with Jersey Mike's that I'd like to share. A mixup in ordering produced an order for a store that wasn't open due to ongoing virus problems. But the manager Joe was quick to jump in and rectify the situation, even called me back so the order could be waiting when I arrived. Excellent customer service 👏

Oh man this food was so good it was that sandwich it looks like right there that's steak and cheese sub bomb was it just filled me up and it was delicious like a deli sandwich I think it's in the mayonnaise there's something about the mayonnaise that or there's a taste that you cannot get at home that you get at the restaurant I got a grill I have all the utensils but I will need to know the secret in the mayonnaise which sets the sandwich off or whatever little secret they got I want to know but the food is the bomb it's good go there I recommend them highly
