Been coming here for about 4 months now. Customers service is amazing. They all remember my name. The owner is always getting down making the food. Tables are cleaned frequently. Food is a little pricey but well worth it. They have a daily special. Tuesdays are the days to come. They usually have a half off special with chips and drink. I always go with the TWA or the bomb.

You know how sometimes you can eat at a place too often and it gets old? This is not that place. I frequent here about once a week on Thursdays and it's consistently good, every time. Steak & cheese or hot pastrami are fantastic, but my go to is the Kicker on white with pickles and olives added. I highly recommend it. Staff is great and service is excellent.

Best sub shop in AZ hands down. I travel all over PHX for my job and try all the sub shops, i love subs.... We love the "bomb" sub and the "pico" sub. Price is higher than norm, but thats ok because you get quality meat & quality ingredients, totally makes it worth it. Keep it up Sidewinders, see you again soon!

My wife and I ran into this place a few years back and absolutely loved the experience. The staff was very friendly, owner was welcoming and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. I always get their daily special and have never been disappointed. The bread is rocking, and the ingredients are fresh. Great local sandwich place!!! Had a groupon for this place. The subs were very good and filling. The "bomb" sub was the best one. The atmosphere in there is also kind of sports bar but without the bar. A couple TVs to watch the game on if your there.

Best subs out there. You can not beat the quality of the food. It is a bit pricier than subway, jimmy johns, quiznos or any other shop but you also get lots of food. They do not make small sandwiches here. We come here often and are sad on Sundays when they are closed. If you haven't been you need to try it. The prices are fair and reasonable for what you get. The service is also the best around.

Arrived here with a group of business travel coworkers. Local brought us here for a quick lunch. Was quick and easy to order and pay for our group of 10. We were able to casually eat and return within an hour. My sandwich was toasted, tasted great. The special I ordered was at a very affordable price for the meal. Update: Recently visited again and it's still great. Hot sandwich is served open, which I like.

You have to start a Sidewinder's review with the STAFF! :) The food is absolutely amazing... but its the genuine, and great service that first sets this place apart. I just had the most amazing Hot Pastrami...crafted by skilled hands and presented beautifully. Nothing overdone, and even the amounts of condiments used are carefully taken into consideration. The flavors...were perfect.

I just have to say best subs and service in the Gilbert/Chandler area hands down! My roommate is disabled and they always treat him with so much kindnesd and tespect. Their clean, friendly and always worth going back again and again. Their turkey Pastrami sub is amazing! I love sub sandwiches. This is thee best sub I've ever eaten and that's a fact in my opinion. 😁 God bless this company may they grow and eventually stay open longer. Today I had a really rough day... until I went in to sidewinders. The staff was so nice & friendly that it totally changed my mood. The guy who made my sandwich asked how my day was and he actually cared & listened and responded in a conversational way. It was like I ran into an old friend & the girl at the register had such a pretty smile & was so nice. Finally visited Sidewinder Subs on a Saturday. Family tried three sandwiches, the Italian (great deal), crab and avocado, and the club. Bread was very fresh and soft, meat was really good. Crab had a nice slightly sweet flavor, not too much mayo. Like the finely sliced lettuce on all sandwiches. Would like a stronger vinegar option for the Italian and a giardinara option would be nice, but we have both at home so no problem. Will definitely be back.

But the staff and the owner, Doug, make this restaurant a standout above all the chain and other mom and pop sandwich shops. I've been living off of jimmy johns for the past month and needless to say I was in search for a new sandwich place that delivered. So I decided to give these guys a shot. I ordered the hot pastrami and I was really impressed. The pastrami wasn't greasy, the bread was toasted and a little burned around the edges(which is how I like it) and the ingredients tasted fresh. The customer service was excellent and delivery was earlier than they had told me. I'm sold on these guys. I will definitely order from these guys again.

Almost every Saturday for the last few weeks I've enjoyed a Cold Coors and a Hot Sub! No regrets. By far one of the best subs I've had the pleasure of enjoying. You can eat some many things in a lifetime but Sidewinder Subs is by far the Most Memorable Sub I've eaten. The Chipotle Mayo is so Great on all the subs and the Buffalo Sauce is HOT! My favorite sandwich shop in gilbert! Cant go wrong with The Bomb or Steak and Cheese. Also the gluten free buns are very good. They have Kiltlifter beer on tap for only $3.75. I have yet to find this beer that cheap anywhere else.

Ummm let's see. Amazing! Delicious! Satisfying! These are all appropriate adjectives. I've been there 3 times and I've had a different sub each time. They are all good. Total care was given to each item I've had. Only downside is driving from Higley and Guadalupe. Still worth it. Can't wait to go back

I work for a nonprofit organization that ordered subs from this restaurant for a Teacher Workshop. The subs were so delicious and the teachers really appreciated it. Afterwards, we were so pleased by the response that we contacted Doug Stauffer, the owner, to see if he would be willing to donate subs for a big Water Festival education event that we have in Gilbert. The subs would be for volunteers who came out to teach the students all day. Doug agreed to donate enough subs AND chips to feed the all the volunteers! We had around 50 volunteers that day. This is a great local business that makes great food and supports the local community.

I absolutely LOVE Sidewinder Subs, but everything listed them being open until 4 pm on Christmas Eve. When we got there, the sign on the day showed them closing at 2pm. It was very disheartening, to say the least, especially since we were down from Utah and won't be that way again for at least another 2 years or more.
