Highly recommend Occasions to handle your wedding catering needs. The food was fantastic, their staff was very on point and ensured the evening went smoothly and Katie and Kristen made the process very easy! We hired Occasions for okie wedding catering for our wedding on 10/22/22 in Morrison, CO, they supplied appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts and handled the bar, set up our centerpieces, cut our cake, brought us champagne & appetizers while we took photos, etc. The planning process was smooth and Katie ensured all of my needs were met. Kristen was our day of contract and was incredible! I would hire them again for any catering needs!

From initial interactions, Occasions Catering was very responsive and easy to work with. It was rare to find the right combination of price and quality amongst the various catering companies in Denver, but Occasions hit the mark. They were able to build a menu around our culinary desires that was equal parts delicious, as well as gourmet. We opted to have Occasions provide wait staff and bartending services for our wedding reception and I can safely say that all our guests were well fed and had plenty of delicious cocktails. Occasions was very up-front and honest with prices and fulfilled every one of our contract’s stipulations. Katie was a pleasure to work with and was there with us every step of the way, which was very important with all the moving parts we were juggling while planning from afar. I would recommend Occasions as a caterer to anyone wishing to impress, enjoy, and indulge at their wedding reception. Five stars!

The team at Occasions were great to work with for our wedding. They curated a menu for our big day that matched exactly what we wanted. We were able to do our tasting, where we not only tasted our menu items, but also saw what the place settings would look like and the options that there were. It was a great experience. On the day of, the catering team was timely and professional. The food turned out incredible and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Our guests even commented on how good the food was. It was delicious and presented so well. Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable and tasty catering company, look no further!

Occasions did such a great job for our wedding! They had the most beautiful displays for our cocktail hour and our family style dinner was absolutely delicious. They were also so helpful in getting our dessert served and displayed despite us using an outside vendor (I'm from Vermont - we had to have cider donuts!). Everyone was so helpful along the way helping us craft our menu and giving suggestions specific to our particular style and (something I really didn't think of) venue. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Most weddings I go to, the food is just something to get through. The food from Occasions, however, was not just “good food for a wedding,” but great food for anywhere. We had guests rave about the chili-rubbed flank steak, and the wild mushroom lasagna was a delicious and filling entree for the vegetarians in the house. Jay, the event captain, and his staff were attentive and friendly—they made sure everyone, but especially the bride and groom, had everything they needed. We really enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend.

Occasions catered our daughter's wedding at Windy Point Campground on Lake Dillon. We wanted a meal that took into consideration allergies/gluten-free/dairy-free/vegetarian/etc. Katie Quinn worked with them to develop a meal that covered all the bases. They were even able to provide compostable tableware for the environmentalists! Everything was perfect. The food was absolutely fabulous! The staff was amazing and were quick to solve our problem when the decorations blew off the tables before the ceremony. We could not be more pleased with the service we received from Occasions!!! We absolutely loved working with Occasions Catering! With COVID we had to push our original date and Occasions made it much less stressful to have to replan everything. They were so accommodating to different dietary restrictions for our guests, worked very efficiently day of, and the staff was so incredibly kind. My now-husband and I hired Occasions for our wedding. Katie, our event designer, is a total rockstar. Out of all the caterers we interviewed, Occasions by far was the best at taking our weird requests (a menu that reflected our international travels and fit our music festival theme) and turning it into a delicious menu that satisfied all of our guests, even those with special dietary needs. Plus, Katie is just incredibly cool, calm and collected, and helped us weather the crazy Covid chaos (rescheduling, ever-changing restrictions, etc) even though we had to downsize from our original plan and move out our wedding by a full year. We always felt like we were in great hands and everyone we interacted with at Occasions was helpful, responsive, and easy to work with.

Simply put, Occasions Catering completely blew all our guests away for our Wedding. We knew how fantastic they were to work with, but to hear our guests rave about our cocktail hour and dinner food selections, made our heart sing! Victoria from the beginning was super responsive and flexible. Due to us being from out of town, she allowed our whole family to taste and allowed my husband and I to do a second tasting to ensure we were happy with our wedding menu selections. They are the perfect vendor for any theme, and they knocked our theme, Colorado Elegant out of the park. Make sure to get the elk sausage carving station and bacon wrapped dates for your cocktail hour, they were the biggest hits! Also, our guests and us could not have been any more impressed with their staff and operations. Everything was served on time and with the utmost professional manner. If you want a caterer who delivers, Occasions is that vendor for you!

We recently worked with Occasions Catering for our company holiday party. Katie was my coordinator and she was fantastic! Super responsive, creative and detail-oriented. She was flexible to our various requests and always responded very promptly. The crew night-of, did a great job seamlessly transitioning between stages of passed and stationed hors d'oeuvres and apps to desserts. Everyone loved the food - the mac and cheese bar was a crowd favorite! I would certainly recommend Occasions and would love to work with Katie and team again!

Occasions couldn't have been a more perfect caterer for our wedding. Katie was our contact throughout the planning process, which was quite a roller coaster during COVID-19. Katie and the team at Occasions were there for us every step of the way, which can not be said for some of our other originally-planned vendors. They were flexible & willing to work with us when we had to change our venue, alter our timeline, and reduce our guest count. They sent a service staff of all team leaders for our wedding reception, which made for amazing, above-and-beyond service. And the FOOD! The passed hors d'oeuvres, salads, and entree selections were all so delicious and memorable. Chef D and her team prepared us a truly excellent wedding day meal. Occasions was everything we could have asked for and more. We can't thank them enough for providing us the meal of our dreams on our special day.

Our venue had a select list of catering vendors. We went with Occasions and couldn’t be happier! They really listed to what we wanted from the very beginning. They also rolled with the punches with us while we navigating our wedding planning during a pandemic. We ended up moving our dinner to our backyard and Occassions was AMAZING! The way they set up the area, the decor of the serving areas, the staff, etc. everything was wonderful! The food was FANTASTIC! We had so many compliments on the food from our guests! We had Katie as our event coordinator and she was fantastic! And Becky was our team captain that night and again, was fantastic!

My husband and I had Occasions cater our wedding earlier this summer. We simply cannot recommend them highly enough! I had a vision of a fully vegetarian wedding that was primarily composed of Italian cuisine. I wanted it to feel fresh and filling and leave no on complaining about the fact that there was no meat. In addition, I wanted it to be somewhat accessible to vegan and gluten-free guests. Every other caterer we tasted with produced a boring and predictable combination of carbs and grease and cheese, and it all felt heavy but not satisfying. Occasions BLEW US AWAY. Our menu was everything I wanted and more, and we got so, so, so many compliments on the food on the day of! It was original, fresh, healthy, tasty, hearty… everything. Over 20 people told me how delicious it was and not a single one complained about the lack of meat. My hubby and I ate leftovers throughout the entire next day because we couldn’t get enough. If you are looking for a Denver caterer for your big event, I highly recommend talking to Occasions—you won’t regret it!

Guests continue to tell us that our food was phenomenal, and our wedding was four months ago. Occasions was an excellent partner for our catering needs and the quality was well worth the price tag. What I loved most about Occasions is that they worked with us to design a wedding menu that we envisioned to complement with our big day. In fact, we did an autumnal barbeque spread of sorts! From our appetizers to dinner, every dish was absolute perfection and paired so well. The team at Occasions was incredible responsive, collaborative and professional as well, which provided us with peace of mind. All in all, when you can make 130 guests from San Diego & Chicago (many of which are foodies!), happy, you are definitely doing something right! Wish I could relive our dinner all over again. Cannot recommend Occasions enough!

Extremely responsive during the planning process, prompt and professional staff on the day of the event, and of course- phenomenal food (seriously, to an impressive standard). Wow, the best ever is right! Occasions did an incredible job at my wedding on 8/19 at the Denver Botanic Gardens (York St) and I am so happy I chose them! They did a fantastic job! Lynn, who I coordinated with regarding all things catering, went above and beyond to incorporate mine and my husband’s southern roots and traditions. Personally, I do not like salads, but I know most people do, so I sent Lynn a very specific recipe for a baked brussel sprout leaves salad which the chefs nailed! I’m so thankful I took her advice and added some passed hors d'oeuvres for all our guests last minute. I can’t say enough great things about the team at Occasions Catering! They are full of creative suggestions too if needed. The only thing I would have done differently is ordered our wedding cake from a company who specializes solely on cakes, everything else was absolutely perfect and delicious!

We used Occasions for our Wedding and they were great every step of the way. From tasting and planning all the way to the event. The food was delicious and all of our guests made a point of letting us know how good the food was. We had a few vegetarian guests and Occasions was able to accommodate them easily as well and they too raved about how good their meals were. The only thing I would knock them on is that they were slow in bringing out the kids meals. Most of the kids ended up eating adult plates because it took so long to get to them. All in all it was a very good experience with Occasions and I would highly recommend them.

We had a hard time finding a caterer, largely due to the fact that we didn’t have a lot of time for tastings. The food at our tasting was good, in combination with a beautiful delivery. The food and service on our wedding day wound up exceeding our expectations. Becky was stuck on I-70 behind mudslides and was unable to attend the wedding (leave it to Colorado). Andrew took lead of the evening and did a fantastic job! He was incredibly attentive and checked in personally with my husband and I several times. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests! We have no regrets in our choice and would absolutely recommend them.

We can't thank Lynn and Occasions enough for their personal attention, caring manner and professionalism for our son's wedding! We all agreed there is not one thing we would have changed or done differently! The "venues" were perfect and all the touches they provided worked beautifully! The catering team could not have been nicer or more efficient and made sure that we were all fed and that everyone got what they needed without delay! We received feedback from friends from LA and Chicago, among others, that they had never had better food at a wedding or any catered event, for that matter! Used for our wedding on 7/30/16. Let me start by saying their food and chefs are really good. We had to go through the experience of booking with Gourmet and them being acquired by Occasions a couple months before the wedding, which was a littler scary but the tasting and the pastry chef coming with the company seemed to make the transition easier. Day of, as the bride and groom we felt ignored by their staff, outside of the first couple interactions. I had to have family members get us refills and didn't even have a drink for the first toast. Our wedding cake was not what we had requested and looked horrible, they did end up refunding that. They dropped the ball on communication with our planner for the cake cutting utensils too which led to a very awkward moment. The worst part is beer wasn't served to our guests during our cocktail hour and we had to return two almost full kegs the next day which ended up a big waste of money. We confirmed this with several guests and family members, yet the caterer was defensive and pretty much lied in her response about this issue. Overall, the food is amazing. Service I felt like they just never wanted to deal with us from the start and we were being "faked smiled at" with half service to get through an overload of work that sadly was dumped on the workers from the buyout of Gourmet. When you are planning a special day like a wedding it sucks to be leaving and hear your bride talking about her wedding cake being ugly and feeling ignored. Things happen but Occasions definitely isn't worth the risk if you ask us and I think they bit off more than they can chew currently.

After reaching out to several catering companies to cater our wedding reception, my wife and I were most impressed with Occasions' responsiveness and willingness to work within our budget and be extremely flexible and friendly throughout the entire process. From organizing our table and linen rentals, to crafting a DELICIOUS menu of hors d'oeuvres, to helping with any and everything we needed the day of the reception Occasions was top notch! The taco bar at our wedding was the best! Delicious food and no detail unaccounted for! The staff was phenomenal and always made sure we were taken care of - we actually got to eat at our wedding! I worked with this company during a wedding in Denver and let me tell you- not only was the food incredibly delicious ( STILL NOT OVER THE VANILLA BEAN VINAIGRETTE ON THE BEST SALAD I'VE EVER TASTED), but working with them was an absolute pleasure. As the photographer, we spend the day chasing the couple and end up starving with only a few minutes to eat during the reception. I've had negative experiences with catering companies in the past and have sometimes not been given food at all. The chef came out and handed me a plate piled with food right as my couple was eating their dinner, telling me she knew I had to get back to work. I can't say how much that meant or how thoughtful it was. All I know is- companies led by empathetic, caring people are the ones I want to work for. When looking for a caterer for our wedding we had two priorities - 1. Friendly staff that actually care about our event 2. Amazing food - not boring wedding food. Occasions was the last (out of 6 caterers) that we met with. After meeting with Lynn, discussing my vision and wants and wishes and tasting all the food we signed the contract right there!!! Lynn was amazing! She is s former interior designer so she "knows" how to set up and work an event. The food was outstanding!! For our wedding we had : appetizers passed - shrimp and grits spoon (a huge hit!!!) - tomato soup and grilled cheese shooter - mini monte cristo. We had a wonderful salad and for dinner we had the herb mashed potatoes, grilled veg, the best Mac and cheese in the world!!!!!, peppercorn filet and lemon herb stuffed chicken. We got so many compliments from guests how amazing the food was. We're still having guests and family talk about the food!! The staff was extremely efficient and on top of everything! I will recommend them to everyone!

Since we first ran into you guys at a Villa Parker tasting event, we were really impressed by the food quality and the professionalism of your staff. Our wedding was no exception - that pork was absolutely out of this world (and made some really great leftovers I'd like to report), and the salad really hit the spot. I hate to say it, but we had nearly 50 unexpected guests at our last event. I called Occasions to see if and how they might be able to help. I was blown away by the result. Their catering staff came right on time, while behind the scenes a manager and the chef created another entrée and raced it across town to save our luncheon. These guys are awesome. They catered a birthday party for my daughter in City Park (Denver). ...I found out about them when I attended a party at the Boat House in Washington Park (also, Denver). That party was a kosher wedding reception. If they could pull that off, we knew they would be perfect for our special event-- a picnic in the park. We ordered food for 40 adults and 10 kids and we were blown away with the portions. We had tons of great food to take home and sent many guests packing with extra love. I recommend these guys!

Wow. There are no words. Jeremy Bronson at Occasions is the man behind the magic, and he is amazing. He had us at hello, and the goat-cheese chive potatoes and macaroni and cheese bar sealed the deal. Jeremy and his staff are exceptional; they made us our own special plates of passed cocktail snacks and dinner fare so that my now-husband and I could be sure to eat during the reception. Not only was the food beyond compare (and people just can't stop talking about the macaroni and cheese with pernod!), Jeremy and his staff really care about you and your day. They listen to your vision and plan their plating and presentation around that. For example, we had a lot of rustic decor and sunflowers, so Occasions used birch or aspen risers and re-used our sunflower sprays from the ceremony on the stations to echo that detail. More than that, Jeremy actually saved the day. There was a snafu with one of our other vendors two weeks before the wedding and, at the final walk through, it looked like there was no way to fix the problem. All of the sudden, Jeremy piped up that he had been texting with a good friend of his, who was available the day of the wedding. Jeremy put us in touch with his friend - and we had a new vendor lined up that afternoon. He helped us avert a potential catastrophe, and I am so grateful for his kindness, emotional intelligence, and ability to problem solve on the fly. Occasions is unparalleled - the food is delicious; the staff is excellent and kind; and the company (and Jeremy in particular!) goes out of its way to make you feel special, important, and loved. So look no more - Occasions is the best choice out there!
