Some really good subs. Awesome creations slapped between some really good bread. I’d totally recommend this place. Especially if you’ve got the munchies. Had the jerk chicken sub - super flavorful and filling. Service was very friendly. The iced teas on tap were good. 10/10!

Cheba hut creates an outstanding atmosphere and the workers put time and care into their efforts because they clearly enjoy their job. The atmosphere is very reflective of laid back 420 friendly sub sandwiches with each being named after traditionally iconic strains, such as the ak 47 or Acapulco gold. The sandwiches themselves are slightly lighter on the portions of add-ons and the bread is tasty. I ate an 8 inch sub across two sittings but I typically eat a little lighter than average. The feel and atmosphere is similar to that of Dave's cosmic subs if you are familiar with the brand. Lots of paraphernalia, jokes, and art adorn the walls. Bathrooms were well maintained. Seating space is a little light but befitting of a downtown restaurant more minded on takeout. I would recommend this to anyone on a light budget over subway any day.

Some of the greatest subs I have ever eaten in my life! Five stars for the food, one star for the music. The music is so loud you can't talk or think while eating. Next time I will just get the sub to go and enjoy it in peace. I suggest everyone do the same!

It's a cute place, great for casual hangout! It was not crowded at all when we went and ordered 2 sandwiches and they still messed up our order. But the sandwiches were very tasty!

By far my favorite place for a sandwich in the Denver area. The staff here is always friendly and the service is quick. They have three different kinds of Kool-Aid which brings back childhood memories. Who wouldn't want to go to a place that has Kool-Aid. The sandwiches are amazing but i wouldn't recommend the 12" blunt size sandwich unless your really hungry. I can't say enough good things about this place. . If your in the mood for a sandwich visit Cheeba Hut! You won't be disappointed.

Visiting Denver for the first time, I was putting in work trying to find a spot open late that one that had food I wouldn't regret eating (Taco Bell is my best example here). I was so pleasantly surprised when I found this place! For those who understand the reference, this is the Pita Pit of your college years but for sandwiches. I was in total heaven - the line was long, but so, so worth it. We started out with with the Loaded Not'Chos, which didn't look appetizing, but tasted ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Melted cheddar cheese, jalapeño, black olive & hot sauce on a bed of nacho cheese Doritos w/ ranch drizzled on top? Come. On. My dude and I decided to get two subs and split them between us - highly recommend this "strategy". We ordered the Buffalo Chicken and the All The Pig, Baby. Both were SO good! The Buffalo chicken had an amazing flavor of chicken, jalapeños, bell peppers, olives, and other yummy ingredients --> think highly up-leveled Subway, and the All The Pig, Baby was the favorite, though it was a close tie. It had smoked ham, genoa salami, prosciutto, pepperoni, bacon, giardiniera pepper, cheddar, lettuce, etc. and was absolutely what we needed to finish the night strong! Highly recommend this place - fast, efficient, delicious, and a great value! We were left full and very satisfied!

Midwest is best and Cheba’s Midwest Sammy is the BEST Sammy I’ve ever had, really hit the spot after a long day of travel. If you want to treat yourself don’t hesitate to get a cookie, I could tell it was fresh and it melted in my mouth.

By far THE BEST PLACE TO EAT AND DRINK I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Wanna feel like you’re on a 90s sitcom where you see the characters hang out at the same spot? This is the place. People talk about world class service but cheba provides family class service. From the best bartenders (Sam, Clover, Hannah, Chloe) in town to the warm fresh sandwiches and nachos. I have NEVER been disappointed. Come here to feel at home. 🥰

Cap Hill location is my go to, but this one is just as great. Bartender was super nice and amazing, food good as always.... Get the Kali mist, no jalapeno, add olive and green pepper. Little less spice and twice as nice ;)

I got the power plant sandwich with jalapeno hummus and it was so delicious. My husband recommended this place after he visited one in Arizona and it was definitely worth a trip also a goo ball was like a more sinful Rice krispie treat that was amazing I'd eat six if I could. Even If you're not vegetarian I definitely recommend the power plant sandwich

Only 3 guys back there making these Sammies. Working as fast as the oven roller will allow them. I came in during a crazy rush at 10:45 and waited patiently for my pick up. Told me it would be 20-30 but it was only 12. They all had a happy demeanor even tho there were 20+ in line and 10 or so orders waiting and a hand full of door dash orders, customers were being impatient but that didn’t stop their flow! Tldr; cheeba crew is awesome even under immense pressure

I was really stoked to try this place. But wasnt anything to write home about. First the guy who took our order was rude af. There was barely any meat on the sandwich and didnt get any sauce on it so it was dry sandwich. The pretzel bites were tasty with their honey mustard. French onion had good flavor.

Cheebahut is easily the second best sandwich shop in CO. First if want to have a beer or cocktail with your sandwich. White widow is always my favorite but tried the Barry white this time as well. How can you go wrong with cream cheese, jalepenos and aju? If you don't know about goo balls, get to knowin! Like a rice crispie but with cocopuffs and peanut butter! 🤤

I walked into this place expecting sandwich Nirvana and was somewhat let down. The AK47 was good but somewhat bland. The portions are good and service was above par. The back bar gives it a strong 4 star. They have a great selection of local craft beers. It's worth a try and I will be back to try a different sandwich.

This is the best place in Denver to eat if you're looking for good vibes, awesome drinks, great people and excellent music. I guess I didn't mention the food? The munchies and sandwiches are a 10/10. I had to order a to-go sandwich for later after I ate lunch because it was so good, I decided I'd have it for dinner too! All of the staff were on it and I haven't felt more "at home" anywhere. This is a can't-miss experience for anybody looking for an excellent experience in Denver.

Excellent sandwiches. I strongly recommend opting for the garlic bread. Also, trust these guys on how the sandwich is made. Order it without modification. The house dressing is where it is at. They’re open late and the staff is tops.

Loved the names of the different subs😄 The album themed table holders and how friendly & helpful the staff were. Please don't be fooled into thinking the smallest bun isn't filling. We all kept ordering the medim to large buns and it is more food than you imagined. Very very delicious too! When hot or when cold. Try their chocolate chip cookies too!

Sandwiches are always amazing everytime we visit from Texas!! We were there 2 days ago (on my son's birthday) and the awesome cashier in the front (purple hair) noticed my autistic 3 year old was overstimulated and having sensory issues due to the louder music, she turned it down and offered to lower it more, really stuck with me. Her and everyone else was super friendly. Ordered a dirty hippie there too and it was amazing!! Y'all are awesome!!!

5/5 for sub creativity. The branding and sub possibilities of this place are great. The subs themselves were flavorful and something that might hit the spot on your late night ventures. This place is campy casual and eclectic. The sandwiches are tasty and big enough to share and the beer on tap is decent craft beer. A block away from the DCPA, it's great for a quick pre or post theatre snack or dinner.

Sub par at beast...it took almost 15 minutes to get my order made during lunch time. Definitely more of a chill vibe, get it when you get it. All good any other time, except for lunch time, on a weekday. Won't be back when I have only 30 minutes for lunch.

VEGAN REVIEW: I haven’t had the best luck at every location with this chain, but this particular location was AMAZING. Its a great place for stopping on the way to the airport or if just want a great sandwich. I got the Magic Mushroom on wheat with no cheese to make it vegan and it was delicious. Nice authentic Denver culture style and Ambiance in this restaurant. It was great to visit something that was not commercial in generic. This place gives you the feel of Denver Colorado and the young crowd that is making this town Innovative place. The sub was expertly made and tasty. I have the Cali sub. I suggest you try the same. The cool thing about the menu is they have three sizes of sandwiches. It allows you just the right amount of food to satiate your appetite. I ordered the 4-inch nug during the time between lunch and dinner to hold me over for dinner. I highly recommend this place to get a feel for the young and hip Alt of Denver.

This place will always have a great rating, mostly for each store having a unique menu (nothing too crazy just a couple variations here and there). The first time was during a college visit which alternative ambience is what caught my eye. Upon entering the place you definitely realize it's nothing like Subway. And that's good, this place is great and the food matches it well. Counters riddled with band stickers and posters wallpapered throughout the place. The sandwiches are always hot and flavored well, and recommend this staple for anyone that stops by.

One of the best sandwich shops in Denver, Snarf's might be right around the corner, but I say pick this one instead. Of course the sandwiches are named after weed titles/stoner references. A must stop sub shop! Lunch rush can be a bit busy so try and go around 11am or 1pm and the wait isn't as bad. Hands down my favorite sub is the white widow with buffalo sauce and add jalapenos. It won't disappoint! Staff is always polite and upbeat making for a pleasant experience!

Great place with what I came to realize quickly has a vibe all it's own. The entire restaurant was alive with sound and motion that could seem a bit overwhelming anywhere else but added to the fantastic positive experience that we enjoyed. Anyone with the munchies, full on hunger or just chillaxin with friends this place should be high on the list of kind spots that don't harshen your buzz. The first time will blow your mind because there is so much to take in but a few moments of sandwich overload at the choice they offer and light hearted humor that has been cleverly woven like a tapestry of absurdity that simply sets the tone for an exceptionally groovy time. Have passed by this place so many times, decided to finally pop in with the fam and give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Everything is named after a cannabis item. My husband ordered a blunt sized Jamaican Red which was spicy and delicious. My sons ordered the G13 and the Pacific Blue, and I went with the Kali Mist. They were all so good and I love the toasted bread they use for their subs. Got classic glass Pepsi's and enjoyed the city view from their roll up front window. Absolutely phenomenal food, Kool Aid and staff! The store was incredibly spotless, the staff was friendly and worked at a great pace. They have a lot of posters everywhere talking about social distancing and a majority of the guests were abiding by their policy. It brought me comfort to know I could accidentally drop a flavor piece onto the table, pick it up off the table and still enjoy it because after every table and chair use, one of the staff would come a sanitize the area very thoroughly. They offer clean cups for refills too which makes this experience even better. Sometimes people don't know they're sick and this restaurant is going above and beyond with their cleanliness practices. I got the "5-0 All The Pig" and a rice crispies treat with a ice cold Blue Kool Aid! I highly recommend this trio :)

The subs are good. This locations is big with lots of tables. There is NO PARKING for this location. There are some parking meters in front but they are always full. Only paid parking lots that cost an arm and a leg just to get a sub. The restrooms were clean. There are a lot of employees. I would revisit.

Cheba Hut is usually great every time I go but I picked up a takeout meatball sub here and it was truly awful. Even Subway could do better. All the veggie fillings were crunchy and cold while the bread was completely soggy with bland red gravy. Textures contrasting in the exact wrong way. Fortunately I will not wreck your star rating like you wrecked the sub I was looking forward to after a 14hr work day due to the fact that every other visit has been good.

I have been going to Cheba Hut for many years and was excited that this new location opened close to where I work. Unfortunately, my first experience was disappointing. I only have 30 mins for lunch and it takes me about 5 mins to walk there. I called my order ahead so that I would not have to wait so long for my order once I got there. Understandably it was not done right when I got there, but it was not busy (maybe 2-3 other people inside). Even so I waited 25 minutes for my order without anyone calling my name. I finally asked about my order and it was sitting out on the counter already done. Needless to say I was frustrated, late getting back to work and had a lukewarm sandwich to boot. The staff, however was friendly and apologetic. Overall, disappointing but I will still try this location again.

The first time I got the white widow I got mushrooms on my sandwhich which I specified I didnt want. Cheba Hut is new to the area, so it was about time that we tried it, the hubby and I. Before we entered, we said that if we didn't like the interior, we would leave. We walked in, decided to stay. The interior was large, and comfortable, with high ceilings. It was clean, with a solid cement(?) type floor. There were tables, booths, and high tops, on which you could sit at, and enjoy your food. There is a tv above the bar area, and there is loud music playing in the background. The parking lot is small, so you might have to park on the street. We decided on the AK-47, otherwise the French Dip. We went for the Pinner, or the 8" sandwich, so we could split. We ordered an additional side of au jus, and split a small bag of chips. When you order, you are given a number. You take your drink cup to the fountain, and serve yourself. This area was clean, which I was grateful for. Many fountain areas in local restaurants are sticky, and just plain gross. At those sticky fountains, I want to get my drink, and then run to the bathroom to clean up. Again, this was not the case here. Yes! We decided on a booth, which was comfortable and clean. Within 5 minutes, our food was brought to us, by a pleasant employee. We proceeded to try our toasted sandwich, which I LOVE toasted sandwiches, and decided it was good. The meat was cooked, and the au jus was not salty, like many can be. While eating, another employee came by and asked if everything was ok, if we needed anything. We were good. This restaurant definitely is targeting the "younger" crowd. By this I mean, there were many signs and such that target Colorado's legalization of marijuana. There were signs on the walls that referred to "Reefer Madness," and others. If this makes you uncomfortable, then Cheba Hut, or at least this location, are not for you. There is a large outdoor patio, which will be a nice place to enjoy your meal, when it's warmer out, in the Colorado sunshine. Overall, a good experience, friendly staff, and decent prices.

Good subs, their shtick is that everything is marijuana related. Their subs sizes: nug, pinner, blunt. Their subs ex: AK-47, Kali Kush, White Widow. Good food, if busy long wait, grab a drink at the bar if you can.

I love kitchy places and Cheba Hut fits the bill. Clever naming convention for subs, all of which are freshly prepared and delicious. They have great combinations and I had a really hard time deciding what to order. I opted for a special, the spicy poo with roast beef, turkey, provolone and spicy chipotle sauce which had a kick! Almost got the goo ball, a rice krispie treat with peanut butter but it was kind of hard, so i got a brownie which was chocolate and awesome. A great place for late night munchies and the perfect place to stop after the Great American Beer Festival!

Marijuana "Stoner" themed sub shop. The room is intentionally grungy, but it's clean. The subs are the best sandwich downtown and the price is fair. It can get crowded when the pot tours come for lunch, but it's worth a try.

DoorDash forgot to pick up pretty much our entire order and ChebaHut went above and beyond to make it right! We ordered $90 worth of food and DoorDash dropped off 2 sandwiches without an explanation.
