I was a guest at a wedding this past weekend and The Berwick provided service and buffet style food. The food was the best I have had at a wedding in my entire life. I had mashed potatoes, cheese tortellini, and marinated chicken. I went for seconds. The bartender staff were professional and efficient. I could not recommended this catering enough. For my wedding, I chose a venue with in house catering. Otherwise, I would be calling The Berwick today to book them.

Such a GREAT place to have your meetings and parties or to have your affair catered. It's been around a long long time and is an iconic landmark. The food is beyond amazing every. single. time. Cannot say enough about the food and the staff are all very good at what they do.

I purchased the sausage and peppers, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese for a retirement gathering at work..... it got RAVE reviews!!! Everyone enjoyed it!!! Everything is homemade and fresh and you could tell. The staff was courteous and professional. I would DEFINITELY recommend The Berwick if you have an event you need catered.....DELICIOUS!!!!

Some rave reviews from my wedding guests: -BEST wedding food I've ever had -The gnocchi was so delicious! I ate my spouses portion and I don't even like gnocchi. But I like this gnocchi! - Wait you can order the gnocchi to go?! we need that at every family holiday. All and all Orlando and his crew blew our reception out of the water. Everything I ate was amazing. Pro Tip: go for the vodka sauce on the gnocchi, it is clearly was a crowd favorite!

We attended a birthday party here. The food was amazing, the waitstaff made sure that our water glasses did not go empty. The linens, chairs and tables were in great shape. The hall was very clean and well lit. Plenty of parking even with another party happening in the building. The parking lot could use some pothole repair and better striping though. All in all, it was a great night.

From the tasting to the set up to the bartenders to the service and everything in between, we could not have received more compliments on the food and service for our special day. Sherry and her staff were so accommodating while we set up for my cousin’s wedding. She maintained professional through several changes and offered suggestions with the set up. The meal was amazing (especially the Mac and cheese). The venue itself, was perfect for the occasion and well maintained. Despite the power outage that didn’t slow things down for our party or the staff, it was an excellent time.

What an amazing place!! We picked up Thanksgiving meals from here and the food was superb!! The portion for two people gave us enough to have leftovers the next day which is so nice!! And the pies were good and just enough! I like that they include whipped topping for the pies! Also the rolls tasted freshly made and the butter was great. The people are so friendly and my family is so thankful to have them this year especially but also every year for the excellent food and great prices!!

They are so fabulous. The food is great and the service is incredible. We had a catering order and then had our credit card stolen so their transaction was blocked. They were so kind with us in working until the new one arrived. They kept our order on the books and never harassed us about the card. UPS screwed up the next day delivery of the new card, so it took until Monday (instead of Friday) to get it. They were so fantastic in reprocessing our order. We will definitely be going with them again!.

Berwick recently catered our family reunion and did an amazing job! The food was outstanding, and the delivery was timely and well thought out. Our event was on the other side of town, and everything was still hot and perfect when it was served. I'd recommend them to anyone look for any type of catering. Tonight we ordered food for pick-up as part of the neighborhood fundraiser. The food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! We had the portobello ravioli, lasagna, tiramisu, and salad. Everything was tasty!! I highly recommend you try this place! Food is fabulous 😀

I can't say enough great things about the team at The Berwick that helped make our wedding day so special. From the moment I spoke to Orlando and Stephanie on the phone, I felt like they were taking care of a member of their own family. They put so much care into our tasting, our quote and contract, and especially the day itself. They made the process so easy to navigate, and their prices are incredible for the quality of the food. On our big day, I was able to rest and relax because I knew the Berwick team was taking care of every little detail. The food was truly delicious, and Rachel, Alex, and Salvador made our reception feel like a fancy restaurant with their amazing service. The food was average. One of the toilets in the ladies bathroom didn't flush. It would have been nice to have a sign posted on the front doors stating to use the side doors of the facility. I stood outside knocking for a nice period of time, and it was humid outside, trying to negotiate with a toddler who kept looking at me. The staff that I associated with was courteous. I would recommend cordless microphones. One of the guests fell over the long cord and a smaller piece of carpet that was covering the cord. I would give this facility another chance.

We were thrilled to have Berwick cater our wedding! They were friendly and professional every step of the way. From our first tasting we were blown away by the way the staff catered to our every need. They were willing to create a menu that worked best for us, and Orlando was so friendly and fun to talk to at our tasting. Due to COVID restrictions we had to make lots of changes along the way, but Berwick was willing to work with us every single time. Everything was gorgeously setup upon arriving at our reception, and the staff was incredibly attentive to all of our guests needs. The food was delicious. Our friends and family still can’t stop talking about it! After our wedding they boxed up all of our leftovers which we were able to enjoy for days after. Yum! Berwick has excellent customer service that is unmatched. We would highly recommend using them for any event, big or small. We were even able to have them cater our Thanksgiving meal two days before our wedding, and once again everything was perfect. They made our planning process so easy and responded quickly any time that we had questions. Thank you Berwick for helping to make our day run so smoothly!

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our selection of The Berwick as the catering company for our wedding. Working with Stephanie, Orlando, and the rest of the staff was phenomenal. They were extremely kind, professional, responsive, and attentive to our needs throughout the entire process. We ordered a small dinner menu for my mother’s 90th birthday dinner. Our original plans for a large dinner had to be canceled due to social distancing for the virus. The dinner was excellent! It was delivered on time and by a very courteous and pleasant driver. Our family of course enjoyed the meal. Mother was pleasantly surprised that we had ordered from Berwick. The family has done a wonderful job expanding and updating their banquet facilities while inside dining was restricted because of the virus. Had a great lunch there on 3/17/21 after a year of my cancellations. cornbeef and cabbage and potatoes hit the spot. Place was full. Will go back in April.

Looks like renovation was done in the last few years. All covid restrictions appear to have been abided by. The food was very delicious. The servers were very courteous and on their job. The room was nice and bright, but the AC could have been turned down a little bit more. Other than that, great atmosphere and room

Our company always buys box lunches or hot catered lunches for special occasions. They are always full of big, delicious food at great prices. We ordered box lunches a couple weeks ago and scheduled them for today. Due to the cold temps, they closed today, but they still went to work just to make our lunches. That is damn good service. My wife and I used them at our wedding 16 years ago. The florist was late and didn’t have time to set up any of the decorations. The workers from Berwick voluntarily jumped right in and set everything up for us. The literally saved my wife from killing someone. How can you beat service like that? I am a lifelong customer for sure. Keep up the great service and quality of food!

We have used Berwick Manor for multiple takeout meals since COVID-19, and the food and service are both excellent. The variety of food options is just as impressive. Everything has been expertly packaged with very detailed instructions on reheating. They make ordering and pick up easy with curbside delivery. The homemade Italian is some of the best in the city and priced at a great value.

So my (now) husband and I had no difficulty picking them to be our wedding caterer. Everyone we worked with was professional and organized, and they helped so much on our wedding day. Food was amazing, staff was very helpful and my catering order was ready on time. I highly recommend the pasta with vodka sauce! Catering prices are reasonable - I was able to keep it at $6/person. The one snag was I didn't know where to go to pick it up, and I didn't see a Berwick representative, so I had to crash the end of someone's event in order to find a person who worked there. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Had a reservation for their special Mother's Day buffet. We arrived early and was seated within 5 minutes! The food was amazing so many choices and so delicious. Moreover the service was also good. My mother was extremely impressed!

First time coming here. We came for a Thanksgiving buffet and I was not disappointed. I was a little nervous to start since I called to make a reservation and upon showing up they didn't have it on file but that wasn't an issue. The food was absolutely amazing, hot, fresh and flavorful. The staff was on point for how many people were there. They all were very engaging and polite. Although I am not accustom to eating out on Thanksgiving, I would definitely do it again at this place!

Fantastic. This was the first time I have been to Berwick. We unfortunately had a death in the family and needed a place to feed 75 of us hungry Italians after the services. Berwick was able to come through. It was an unbelievable buffet. Literally something for everyone and so many selections I coudn't even try half! The best part was it was all delicious. The price was reasonable as well. It's honestly one of the best meals I've had in awhile and most others who attended also were pleased. I just wish they were located on the north end and we would eat there and use them for all of our events. Thanks Susi family for a great event that made a difficult day much easier.

The Berwick's food and service is unbeatable. They are extremely reasonable in their pricing and we found them to be very flexible and easy to work with on all of our wedding reception's details. It is a family owned and operated business and they treat you like family! My fiance (now husband) and I had attended a number of formal events catered by The Berwick previous to hiring them for our wedding and we always walked away raving about the quality of the food served. They specialize in Italian comfort food at its most richest. We had a wide range of dietary requirements for our guests and The Berwick not only were able to meet those requests they even made sure to label all the entrees and sides so our guests knew what they were eating. We received so many compliments on the food from our guests! Stephanie and her staff helped turn over the reception room after the ceremony ( moving chairs and tables etc.) We truly appreciated all of the attention to detail they took in making our wedding reception a truly beautiful and special experience for us and our guests. Everything we asked specifically for was done and even things we didn't ask and didn't think to ask for were taken care of for us and we are truly thankful. If we ever have another catering need in our future married life we will most definitely return to The Berwick for seconds!

Salad bar was basically Just for actual salads but was top notch all fresh with alk the accoutrements one could ask for. I was not impressed with the spaghetti but the manicotti was very good as was the service and the price tag of 23$ for 2.

This is a well kept secret, but the restaurant is open at lunch time and it's one of the best places in the city for old fashioned home made food. Mondays is an all you can eat buffet of revolving dishes that is only $11 per person. The rest of the week there is a menu featuring daily specials and the classic Italian fare that the restaurant is known for. Their fried mushrooms are out of this world. The chicken stuffed with celery dressing is probably my favorite dish....or maybe its the portabella mushroom ravioli....and the Ruben is the biggest I've ever seen outside of New York. Until early this year, grandmother Maria was still occasionally working in the restaurant filling water glasses, passing out bread and even helping in the kitchen. Now her children and grandchildren manage it. Their secrete? They know that the best way to run a business is to offer a quality product and have a personal relationship with the customers who come there for the good food AND the good people who work there and run it.

Facility is under construction and the updating is needed. Building is dated and very divided. Food is fair, but rather reasonably (inexpensive) priced.
