I know you think you have had excellent BBQ before. I'm sure you believe that. But never have you ever had BBQ like Big Bull's. This meat is smoked to perfection, but still tender and juicy. Your pick of sauces: sweet or hot, mustard base or ketchup. And as amazing as the meat is, the sides are their own champions! Green beans, Mac n cheese, slaw, dressing, rice and potato salad, every Bite tasted better than the last. The owner and staff are fast, friendly, and very welcoming. We will be back, many times I am sure.

My first eating here I ordered the two fried pork chop dinner and 2 turkey dinner… Sides included rice with your choice of two sides. My sides were potato salad baked beans Mac & cheese cabbage and dressing. Everything was on point! I will definitely order again. My only small complaint is whoever made the rice today made the rice mushy and they were stuck together. Either use parboiled rice or a rice cooker. I couldn’t really enjoy the rice with everything else. But still the food was great :) definitely will be back!! $20 a meal is worth here.

I wanted ribs sooo bad. I really wanted an order of rib tips (Chicago style) so I searched several places but because of the weather I headed home. I took a different route and seen this establishment and decided to stop not knowing what I would be getting. I must say this was more than I expected the ribs were Phenomenal 😋😋 and guess what THERE WERE TIPS in there or ends as some call them. I was not expecting this they were tender, juicy and full of flavor. Great job I’ll be back

Great spot. The portions are good. The Greens were absolutely phenomenal! The Tayta salad was a bit salty, and like the yams, a bit soupy. The meat portions "sounded small. 3 bones, 2 bones etc... but once in hand you see there's ALOT of meat to be had. Comparitively overall it is a great spot, small but powerful 8/10.

I went to Sam's Club on Fashion Drive, saw the food truck parked out front and decided to finally buy something, having known about it for some time, just never got a chance to get to the actual restaurant. The beef brisket sandwich was ABSOLUTELY delicious, juicy and flavorful! The tomato-based sauce was really tasty too. The cashier and cook were genuinely nice (a really nice change!) I will be going to the brick-and-mortar restaurant in the near future and be on the look out for the food truck as well! Great job all around!!

First time eating here was today. I ordered 3pc St. Louis Rib plate w/mac n cheese & yams, 2 Chicken burger plates, a side of fried green tomatoes. I must say I was not disappointed!! The owner was nice enough to try to give extra sauce for free when I forgot to add to my order before I paid but I was delighted to pay so I ordered a extra side of potato salad. l didn’t like the potato salad but my daughter killed it so its probably just my taste buds. Everything else was spot on with an awesome smokey flavor and those yams!!! Those yams make you wanna slap your mama. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Customer service was a 10!

Delicious as usual. I eat here anytime I'm remotely close to South Carolina. This time I brought another coworker and she loved everything. The food here is amazing and the recipes are consistent. I have been looking for some great BBQ since I moved to South Carolina and I just found it! I got a BBQ stuffed baked potato and shared it and several sides with my sister for lunch and it was AMAZING! The BBQ is amazing, the potato was HUGE, the Cole slaw was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, the Mac and cheese was perfect, the green beans were cooked with bacon and also fantastic. I got the peach cobbler and banana pudding to go and had much later and it was amazing!

We were driving though Columbia SC and decided to stop here with our kids for dinner. This was hands down the best food and customer service we have ever experienced. First of all you won’t get better BBQ, the macaroni is home made, fried okra was spot on. The baked beans, and the sipping tea, I could just keep talking about it. I mean man, this place was a hitter! I left so stuffed and feeling like I was family. If you ever are anywhere near this place, do yourself a big favor and stop in. You will not regret it!

Everything from the service to the food was absolutely amazing!!! It was worth every bit of calories/the 3 pounds I put on. Lbvs. I throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food!!! I cannot stress the fact that the food is amazing!!! This place blessed my natural man and my spirit(the food is made with a lot of "LOVE".) Not everyone has the God given ability to cook with love and it be consistent at all times and in every dish. This place gets a 10 out of 10 because the food and the people are beyond amazing. Big Bulls is a dive in all the BEST ways!!! All that's missing is the broken screen door! lol! Not much to look at, but the food and the service are second to none!! I'm addicted to the Pulled Pork Sandwich. If they could run an IV of the Gold Sauce into me I'd be a happy camper. (Hint: Try all the sauces mixed together on your protein of choice... thank me later.). The ribs are fall off the bone tender, smoky and full of flavor. There are so many other items on the menu I need to try and I can't wait!!! I HIGHLY recommend Big Bull's Bang'n BBQ and Southern Comfort Food. Wear elastic waist pants!

This place is hands down one of the BEST BBQ spots. The owners are very friendly. They greet every guest and all of the food including the cakes are homemade. One of the employees opens the door for you as you leave. While I was there I was able to sample another homemade cake AND it was so moist and flavorful. The sides are AMAZING. The BBQ was well seasoned and cook to perfection.

I make the 45min drive from Rock Hill to Columbia at least once or twice a month to Big Bull's Bang'n BBQ & each time we go the food is on point. I highly recommend this place if you love great BBQ.

Gather around everyone and listen to the tale I have to tell about this BBQ restaurant. To be fair to this story the last time I was here was on mother's day and it was sunday after church. We ordered and was told it would be an hour plus wait and after an hour and a half I vowed then that if this wasn't the best BBQ I'd ever had then the negative review I would give would be astonishing. Well ladies and gentlemen I'm here to tell you!...that this was the best BBQ I have ever had I'm my life! Not some of the best but the best. I got ribs, brisket and smoked chicken. I also got Mac and cheese and collards and corn bread. The owner hooked up the sauce and it was amazing and let me tell you something...I hate cornbread and I devoured it all. I left nothing behind except bones. Do I recommend this place? What do you think?

This place is a real diamond in the rough and deserves a ton of foot traffic. It is off the beaten path, and there is some construction on that road (at the time of our visit) but persevere! You may just have one of the best home cooked meals of your life!

Came upon this place a couple of years ago by accident. Was completely blown away by the flavor and quality of the food. The wife and I came all the way from Charlotte today JUST to get our fix. I have to say, this is our favorite bbq joint on the east coast. Nothing on the menu will disappoint. Thank you Dante for another wonderful meal. Oh yea, dont forget the peach cobbler for dessert!

I've traveled this road everyday for 2 years and just saw this spot one day on my way to work when traffic was backed up. Placed an online order 2 days later and the food was AMAZING! I'm a huge BBQ feen and have always gone to one particular spot my entire life. But now I think I've found a new one! My order was hot and ready when i arrived. I was in and out. Food is seasoned to complete satisfaction, you get a hefty portion for the price. I will definitely be returning! A+++

The place doesn't look like much but I was there for the food. The owner was nice but direct that it was busy and it would be a while. The wait of 25 minutes or so was worth it. The brisket and pulled pork was very good. I had leftovers for breakfast. If I am ever in South Carolina I will stop here again.

Be prepared to be amazed! Fresh and deliciousness is what they are all about! They have this signature white sauce that will make you slap a hog! If you are in a rush I advise you calling advance as everything is freshly made and you can really notice the difference. Their peach cobbler is one of the best I've tried outside of home.

First I wanna say omg why does their cornbread taste like that??!!! It was the best.I could have ate an entire pan! Upon entering we were greeted with smiles. The owner was very helpful with our selections and his wife was helpful as well and quick to check on all the guests. We had the ribs, brisket, oxtails and a turkey leg. Sides were green beans and macaroni and cheese and of course some slices of cornbread. Y'all gotta check this place out. Everything was amazing and REAL FOOD HOT AND DELICIOUS. Great customer service! Bull was very attentive to our needs and offered us patio seating (due to pandemic) without hesitation and set up tables, chairs, and an umbrella. I ordered the turkey wing dinner through door dash. The turkey wings, green beans, and corn bread were really good. However the collard greens were so salty I couldn’t eat them & the rice and gravy just wasn’t good so I couldn’t eat that either. I have had their food in the past with no complaints, so hopefully it will be better the next time.

Quaint place with music playing to put you in the mood. Didn't know what to expect. One of the workers at the Sheraton hotel recommended this place and we took a chance to try and it paid off beautifully. Greeted by a young guy. Mama Bull came after and she was able to guide us nicely to what we were in the mood to eat. All the food exceeded our expectations. We took a rack of baby back, a rack of St Louis ribs, sweet corn, fried okra, cornbread which was so moist. My cuz thought it was the best cornbread he ever had. Top all that with the sweet tea and we were all in food heaven. Later on Big Bull himself came by and he was very conversational and what a nice guy. We left a cemetery of rib bones and chicken bones. It was really delicious BBQ. If you are in the Columbia area, this is a.must stop for delicious food. We left extremely satisfied.

First time ordering from Big Bull's. We ordered a family meal of 2lb brisket with the sweet honey sauce and two sides which we picked rice and the mac & cheese. We also added the potato salad. This food is excellent! Really love the charred ends of the meat and that sweet honey sauce which is a mustard sauce was amazing also. Great meal all around, we will definitely be calling this place our go-to headquarters for tasty BBQ.

I really don't see how anyone could leave a bad review on this bbq spot. We broke down and had to get towed. I wanted bbq and the tow truck driver named Chris recommended this location. Everything was wonderful. I got a slab of baby back ribs,collard greens which was too die for the yams was very tasty as well. My daughter had the baked turkey wings and rice. All I know is I stay in Atlanta and I will drive this 2 1/2 hour drive just for the food so good. Please don't let the few bad reviews keep you away. I owe that tow truck driver Chris a big thank you. Everybody can't cook good soul food but this place has it going on. 😋

The food is wonderful however it seems they have raised the prices there used to a St. Louis ribs meal usually cost me about 18$ came with ribs two sides and a drink but now you all have a build your platter which makes it difficult ordering now since that raises the price I appreciated my 18$ meal but to go from that to 28$ almost thirty for what I used to get for 18 yes a whole 10 is a bit much please bring back pre-priced lunches it made your wonderful food affordable

First visit for me and my daughter and we weren't disappointed. Decided on smoked turkey leg/baked beans while she got pulled pork and fries. Food was on point. PERIOD! My only regret is not getting the BBQ sauce when he asked. I tasted the sauce off my daughter's sandwich and almost drove back to get some for myself. You'll have to wait a minute for food, but damn well worth it. Great job!

If you hungry & you KNOW you want to get full off somn good!!! I had been wanting to try this place for a while. There is usually a line out the door! To my surprise 😱 I was passing by what I thought was closed! The menu is big. I ordered the Turkey(Wing) & dressing bowl $7.49 & a lime cake $5.49 (its 1 huge slice the size of my face!) Well folks! That turkey bowl did something to my soul! 😲 The cake, I would prefer it to be more moist & needs more lime. The icing needed cream cheese or a bit more. I had hoped it tasted more homemade. I know a woman in Hopkins that makes the best in town! I thought food was a little over priced but it what I tasted was very good. The place was clean and if its ever slow a nice date spot. Otherwise its small and should invest in expanding to accommodate all the people that pass the place because the lines out the door or there's no parking space. If you have time or the opportunity as I did and about $20 person Try them! 😃😀

We decided to place a takeout order and to try 3 of their side options this past weekend, since we've enjoyed other things on their menu previously. Their customer service is always on point, and they cook everything fresh as it is ordered. On this visit I’m not sure if it was an off day or not, but the side favors was not very good. The collar greens had too much sugar in them, the Mac and cheese was kind of dry and burnt, and they stuffing didn't have hardly any seasoning. But because I've had their BBQ meats before I feel like they're a solid 4 star establishment, with some room for improvement. I really appreciated that it was a black owned family business, and their staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. They do have a small private parking lot so if they’re busy than parking can become challenging. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to everyone.

I had an order on yesterday/12/19/2021 that was not right. I went back in and I did not really have a complaint because they were super busy. The young girls that helped me were sweet as pie and I support teaching them at a early age to learn new craft and be sufficient. The young lady I think was the mother and she was very nice, very profession and went above and beyond to make sure it was correct. I love the food there and I am not a bread person but the cornbread is truly the best I have ever had. I think that sometimes we are so hard an black own businesses that we look for any issues to complain about. My food was wonderful and the staff were working hard. To the young lady that helped me I am grateful and will pray continued blessings over your business. It was a great experience after one slight issue was corrected.

This place has good BBQ that's for sure. I come here often my girl friend and I and I've noticed that the service is usually great beside when the woman works. Everyone explains the changes and menu so forth. When the woman is working she's not very friendly especially to other women. I've sat in the car and watch her be extra nice to the male customers but she's usually pretty dry with the women and not helpful.

Let me just begin by saying I don't eat land meat. But the smell oh my goodness.. We rode by this spot and the smell traveled in our car with us to our destination 4 miles down the road. I said to my friend we are stopping there on our way back to get my brother and sister in law something. We got them 2 pull pork sandwiches. The meat was pulled so high they each had enough to make another sandwich from their initial sandwich. My friend got a slab of ribs. They say they were very tender. My other brother came and ate a piece of rib cold straight out of the fridge and he said " wow I can imagine with a little heat what this would taste like It's tender and good cold". The hash they weren't to impressed with. It was soupy and very garlicky. Keep in mind we are from GA so it's just not what they are use to is what I will say. I would definitely recommend this place. If you haven't go see him. if you have continue seeing him. Oh and that hot bar b que sauce will definitely grab your attention they say🤣 Thanks "T"

I went here the other day and omg the food was better than expected! I had the smoked turkey leg with the bangn sauce i believe (spicyyyy) and their homemade skins! Can’t wait until they’re open again to try more items. The only “issue” i had was the amount of sauce given on the side. I thought the sauce cup would be bigger but i know next time to ask for two of them

I had a great experience with my food. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Because they forgot to include one minor item from my order, which I was charged for, but didn’t receive. By the time I got home it was too late to go back. It was a big order, so it happens sometimes. Now, the food is awesome! Full of flavor, great sauces, and great portions that’ll give you the “itis” after you try to finish it all. Love their banana pudding and their chicken. They use Pepperidge Farm cookies! That’s how you make some bangin’ banana pudding! Haven’t had the brisket yet. Do you have to wait long? Yes! However, if you want something really good, you should be willing to wait. If you give me cold, nasty food after waiting, then I’ll be unhappy. That’s not the case with Bulls BBQ. Be patient and enjoy it!

Great experience, we put a order for pickup at 545pm I got a call around 540pm saying my order was ready. When I arrived gave a call and waited a bit then decided to go inside to geab the food. I was notified that they were not happy on how the porkchop looked so they re cooked it. I was very impressed by the attention to detail and setting the standard high for their food. I would and will go back with out hesitation.

Everything was amazing! I never leave reviews unless they're either awful or absolutely amazing. Big Bulls is definitely the latter. I literally finished my last bite and said "I need to leave a review." Every bite felt like something my mom would make when I was growing up. You can definitely tell the food is homemade just because everything is perfectly seasoned. I could go on and on, but my husband is looking at pictures and talking about the choices he'll make next time.

I drive by this location every day and decided to give it a try. I have only tried the brisket sandwich both times and it is sooo delicious! They advertise their establishment as it not being fast food and that’s 100% accurate. If you’re in a hurry, this may not be for you but if you plan accordingly it’s worth it. The first time I tried it I went in and ordered, and took no more than 30 minutes for them to deliver my food to me in my vehicle. The second time I ordered online and it seemed like the options for sauces were somewhat different than when I ordered in the restaurant. I don’t remember ordering any differently but the first sandwich I received was more like pulled brisket (which I prefer over slices) and the second sandwich had 2 slices (which is what the pictures depict when ordering). Either way, they were both so flavorful, not super fatty, and the meat was so tender. If you’re in the mood for some BBQ, I would definitely give this place a try.

This time my chicken was dry, my brisket was VERY greasy and fatty, and my cobbler was over cooked. I usually love the food here. My husband liked his turkey wings. And tipped well 😉 . I always come here. Especially since I moved out of town when I visit I come here. I like when the boys work the front end. Their customer service is on point. BUT the old woman there with the curly hair has poor service skills. She needs to keep her person feelings at home or turn on her listening ears at work. I would hate to stop coming here because of bad energy. I spend to much money here to deal with passive aggressiveness. Why blk businesses always drop the ball with service?

The food was really good. I ordered ahead and went to pick it up. I had the brisket and baby back ribs baked beans and Mac and cheese. My friends brisket and sides. They put the sauce on the side I will definitely do that next time the sauce was a little overpowering. The brisket was so tender the ribs were so good. I was a fan of the baked beans, but that's because I don't like green peppers. The cornbread was to live for it was simply amazing. I recommended going here.

OH.MY.GOD. The real wood smoked meat, the original sauce, the crisp fry...I made one big mistake. Ordered just one big chicken piece and onion rings. So delicious—I should have ordered two! Friendly staff, too. Order online (amazing low prices for this crafted wood BBQ) and pick up about 40 min later, this ain’t a boring franchise meal sitting under a heat lamp all day. Worth however far you need to drive to get there!

The food is succulent, filling, decadent... Feel free to fill in the blanks with every synonym for delicious. I'd been waiting to taste their food for like 2 months and when I finally did it was worth the wait. I had the brisket and baby back ribs with a biscuit and beans and a cherry lemonade...... The ribs were so soft and the brisket was so flavorful... The beans were sweet but not overpoweringly so... I can't wait to go back. If you ever have a chance to go there DO SO!!!! The food will not disappoint.

the wings are so good and smokey. I only wish I could drown them with blue cheese because my mouth is on fire. spicy is spicy 🥵. I am in love already the ribs are smokey and just falls off the bone no cartilage or anything but delicious. not the biggest fan of the wafers in the banana pudding but still delicious and legit the smallest issue haha

This is one of my favorite restaurants when I visit Columbia! I was exhausted yesterday from work and driving over 5 hours for a quick weekend getaway. Mrs. Bull answered the phone when I called to place a call in order. When I say she is so sweet, she is. We had a brief conversation while I placed my order. Ordered some BBQ on our way back from a long camping trip and may have found my new favorite BBQ spot. Got the pulled pork sandwich with vinegar sauce and damn was it good. Pork cooked perfectly and what ever they put in that vinegar sauce is pure magic. Can't wait to try their other items!

My husband and I (TT) have been coming to Big Bull's since last year and they never dissapoint. Straight foward people with amazing food. Our favorite is the baby back rib plate with the baked beans and mac and cheese with two smoked thighs. When I tell you tender, I mean tender do you hear me!! That man know he can cook his behind off. We try to go every weekend if not every other weekend. Once we eat, we are knocked out for hours. I love the fact that he is training his children early to wok the front and help bring out orders. Very pleasant over the phone and in person. If you haven't had the 7secs or the bussin sauce then you're missing out! Best bbq spot hands down so dont argue with me lol. Keep it up yall, you forever have a customer.

Someone referred me to this place And I decided to give it a try.I ordered smoked chicken macaroni and cheese collard greens, Peach cobbler And a side of chicken wings for my son. I waited a little over an hour in the parking lot for my food. I get home and the chicken was way overcooked. Not juicy at all. For a first time, I was not impressed at all. People came and left but I was still waiting to get my food, and the best thing I ate was the mac n cheese and the peach cobbler. Sorry, but I drove across town to spend over 20 bucks for cobbler and Mac n cheese 😕. Won't be able to go back again. But the guys in there are very customer-friendly.

The food here used to be so good. Now everything just tastes like a bucket of salt. Dont get me wrong, I appreciate food seasoned well but this is too much. The mac and cheese has way more cheese than anything. Just wasnt tasty at all. Threw most of it away. Dissapointed. Edit: Initially I had this as a one star. Then I had a change of heart. We should be building each other up not bringing each other down. So what if I wasn't satisfied with this particular meal. There are countless times when I was very well pleased. So often we are so quick to focus on the one time something went wrong instead of praising for all the times it was right. Be the change you want to see. Lets change the narrative. I gave this place a 5 star rating, because in comparison to other places their food is really good. I enjoyed the seasoning of the brisket and the sides are good. I no longer reside in Columbia, but will stop at this place when passing by. The price is not bad to me, because I think the price point is the same as most BBQ places. They give a good bit for $16 in my opinion.

My husband and I live near Savannah Georgia. We went out of town for the weekend and Google restaurant in the area. The name of the restaurant stood out so we drove to the location tonight. The owners and staff were friendly and professional but most of all the food was great. I even have leftovers for tomorrow because it was too much food to eat. We will definitely go back. It was worth the money. When people take there time to cook, serve and provide great food and customer service it's worth every cent. Keep up the good work.

A friend just recently turned me on to this restaurant and omg.. I can honestly say I've already had their food three times in the past two weeks!! They have a large, very diverse menu of good food..I had been looking for good good ribs and I have definitely found them.. I've yet to get anything that I didn't like from this place. I definitely wish they were open more throughout the week, but I'd definitely recommend any day❤

Listen y'all! We had a long trip back today and decided to doordash some food so that we could unpack and eat. We decided to try a new restaurant, Big Bull's Bang'n BBQ. And when I tell y'all they did not disappoint with the food!!! If y'all are looking for some good southern food or amazing bbq you've got to try it! The vinegar sauce had a little kick at the end that's delicious! The fried okra is the best I've had in Columbia since moving here. And the spuds!! They're HUGE! Almost two meals alone. And the pulled pork is just cooked perfectly. If I could give more stars I would!

Big Bull's BBQ is SLAPPIN'. This is was our first visit and certainly wont be the last. I'd have to say that they have the best corn bread that I have ever put my lips on. My husband and I got a variety of different meats and sides to share. The food portions are LARGE. I could only get through half of mine by the time I got full and fell into a food coma. The owner was very kind and working his tail off to get everyone's orders out as quick as possible. He was running orders out to everyone's vehicles. Its important to note that a Saturday night is crazy busy! It would be fantastic to see them grow into a larger building with more parking.10/10 would eat again.

When my Maine family comes to visit I usually get some good ol' southern BBQ for them to try. Big Bull's did NOT disappoint. We ordered ribs, pulled pork, brisket, okra, mac and cheese...a lot! To say it was delicious doesn't do it justice, it was incredible, amazing, delectable, I could go on! We were so full from everything they didn't get to try the banana pudding....I almost feel guilty about that as I enjoy it this morning. I don't know what y'all do with this recipe but Jesus surely blessed it. May he continue to bless you all and your business! I will definitely be back, as much as possible!

My family and I stopped here in December and I have to tell you how great it was. The brisket, ribs, and chicken were just so tender and packed with flavor. The staff was amazing too, they were a nice couple that make fantastic food, not to mention how good the sides and sweet tea was as well. We will definitely stop here again!! We had a great experience at Big Bull's today. The owners were friendly, helpful, welcoming and the food was fantastic. Easily the best brisket and pulled pork I ever tasted and the sides were delicious as well. I also had the most decadent slice of chocolate cake I ever had before... so moist and full of chocolate goodness (thanks Mama Bull)! We will be back soon and start working our way through the menu. There are so many options it's hard to decide what to try next (I jest, it will be the ribs for me without a doubt)! The Seven Seconds sauce is lovely.

Got the baked potato with pulled chicken and it was GOOD. Best baked potato I've had from a restaurant. Put McAlisters to shame. Not the biggest fan of the egg rolls but thet did have a nice smoky flavor. The only downside is the parking lot is a bit tight. But will definitely return to try out other menu items.

I have lived near this restaurant for 3 years and never went in. It’s a small place and I didn’t pay it much attention. Today my boyfriend took me for the first time and this is the best place everrrrrrrr. I ordered the sausage, wings, Mac n cheese, baked beans and the red velvet cake. I love soul food and I could never find a good place in Columbia. So much flavor and the red velvet cake taste was so unexpected it was so moist, it’s definitely homemade. I did pay $58 for two people to eat with dessert but after tasting the food I am not at all surprised by the price. I really hope they move to a bigger location to have more space for all their customers. Parking was hard and the restaurant was very small and crowded. I’ll definitely be back every chance I can. I was quite impressed today. I ordered the pulled pork over rice and got Mac n' cheese and rice n' gravy as my 2 sides. Along with a roll. The roll was standard fare, slightly sweet. It worked well in balancing the mac n' cheese and pulled pork. Mac n' cheese was well-seasoned with a fair bit of black pepper. The gravy was impressive, but it was more of a topper (the sides come in these styrofoam cups). More gravy would have been great, but it was a side. Pork was great, hints of smoke with good texture: tender, but not mush. I got the Bang'n sauce- a nice complement to the pork and had a nice heat to it. Not overbearing, but wimpy either. Decor is very basic. This is clearly a Mom n' Pop joint and that's cool. Wooden tables, metal trays, picnic wrapper on the trays, etc. It took a bit to get my food, but it was fairly busy. Parking lot was packed. People just kind of make space to park.

I first ordered the baby back ribs a few weeks ago with mac & cheese and fried okra. The sides were on point. The ribs however weren’t cooked long enough, leaving the meat tough. The sauce on the ribs was really good. Even though the ribs weren’t the best I had, the meal was over all good enough for me to try them out again. With my newest order I got the brisket and I hit the jackpot! It was so tender and so good. Excited about this most recent experience, I came on fully expecting to leave a 4 star review. However, at closer inspection of the other reviews, particularly the more critical reviews and the owners child like response to those reviews made me second guess that 4 star rating. The owner may even reply to this review with a crying laughing emoji or the rolling head laughing emoji if I’m lucky. These types of responses just ooze arrogance. Your food may be ok and you may have a list of great reviews. But, you still have to address these criticisms seriously and professionally, especially when you’re doing it publicly online. People are reading these low reviews and judging your business by them. I sure have and I won’t be back due to your reaction to those bad reviews.

I grew up with a parent from Southern Texas, so I pride myself in knowing some good red meat dishes. Big Bull's is GOOD! The burger was SO GOOD that I felt sad because I knew I would never taste a burger so good again... and I live part away across the country. As far as brisket goes, it was decent. I have had some better smoked and tender slices elsewhere, but it's worth trying a time or two.
