Our waitress Morgan saved the evening! Went for the first time on a Sunday for dinner. Based on the website, I was expecting a restaurant and lounge vibe. Upon entering, I was met with a 5 star hole in the wall bar vibe. Stopped at the desk at the main entrance unsure if it was self seating or not. One of the employees walked by and said nothing. I approached the bar to ask about the protocol. The bartender essential shrugged and gave the impression of I'm just here. Then proceeded to say sit where you want. We chose to sit on the lower level. They were playing smooth 90s/early 2000s R&B. 4 songs passed with no menus or service. As we started thinking about leaving, our server Morgan came to the table. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, provided honest opinions, and very attentive! We tried their wings with the house sauce and lamb which I highly recommend! Also tried their fried rice with honey glazed salmon which wasn't as impressive. Had an opportunity to meet the owner who was also very friendly and service oriented. With the exception of the beginning of the night and bathrooms, it was a 5 star experience!

This is an all around 5 for party-lounge-luxury. The food menu is exceptional every single dish I’ve tried is delicious. The drinks are wonderful. Service is unmatched! They are quick and courteous. They have indoor and outdoor seating great spots for photo ops. Again another one of those great Baltimore gems that people don’t realize exist.

Nice restaurant with urban sophistication. The servers were attentive and friendly except for the upstairs bar lounge bartender. She was very slow and had an attitude. The food and drinks were good. The music upstairs dance area was extremely loud - enough to damage your hearing. The downstairs restaurant was much more pleasant with music, seating, and light ambiance.

Where to begin. Overall just an OK experience which was brought up to OK by the owner Tony who checked in on us and took constructive feedback very well. We ordered drinks and they were both good and just the right amount of strength for a dinner date. We ordered the Old Bay wings fried crispy. The texture and freshness out of the fryer were great. A little too much Old Bay in them for my Wife and I but as the owner said we cook hi blood pressure style on the wings :-). I called them drinking wings. When you drink you don't mind the salt and the bartender loves you more. It makes sense since above the restaurant is the club portion of the establishment. The decor is really cool and nice and the music although loud wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed bobbing my head while enjoying my dinner date. They did their best to keep the social distancing numbers at Bay, but people wanted in. They did leave every other table open which was good. My Wife's Salmon and grits were not good. The cheesy sauce was the best part. Without it the grits were bland and tasteless. The salmon was overcooked and hard. Tony was a gracious host and listened to the feedback and removed my Wife's meal off of the bill because he saw she did not enjoy and he offered us additional drinks. The lamb chops had a nice flavor were tougher than I expected. They may have cooked them well instead of medium like Tony said they should have. I didn't request well now was I asked so I guess they took it upon themselves to cook it that way. The flavor was good though. The fried rice was interesting, it had a hint of sweetness which I wasn't expecting. I think it could have been cooked in the wok a little longer for a little more crispy texture but I liked it. The sweet potato casserole I ordered was creamy and I liked the addition of the nuts for texture. It could have used more all spice in it to add bit more flavor. It is a very busy spot on a Saturday night. I don't think we will be going back just because it wasn't our cup of tea but I really liked the owner and his customer service so I wouldn't tell anyone else don't go. We didn't go upstairs to see the lounge part but he described it as very nice amd offered us a tour. By this point it was getting late and we were tired from a long long day of service.

There was a big mix up with waiting for a table. We were a party of 5, the hostess entered 6 . The hostess also entered that we requested the upstairs area for hookah, which was incorrect. None of our party even smoke! This all made our wait time an hour and half! I asked to speak to the manager and she cleared things up, got us seated. The owner even came over to apologize which we appreciated! Their wings are addictive so I'll always return for that reason alone.

When I tell y’all they put their foot in them Nior wings!! And the fried rice w/ shrimp, so flavorful. I went to supervise a teenage dinner party but next time I’m coming to enjoy the lounge upstairs with hookah

Noir has good food, music, and service! Ambience - Noir is definitely for the trendy, brunch loving, millennial. Grown and sexy, but a fun vibe! But it doesn’t stop there… My mom is 64 tomorrow and I took her for her birthday, and she had an amazing time. There was a good mix of music too! Everything from Anita Baker to Roddy Ricch. I feel like anybody can catch a vibe here and enjoy themselves. Service - Tia was just 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 we love her. Her personality was amazing! She was upbeat, made great recommendations, and was just an overall sweetheart. She really made the experience better. Definitely requesting her section next time I go. Food - flavorful! We did the bottomless mimosas, chicken and waffles, and the shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious! I’m talking about no salt and pepper, no extra anything needed. Overall… Go! LOL. You’re def to have a good time and enjoy some great food and drinks! Please please please be sure to ask for Tia!

Pretty good food and nice staff during the pandemic. We dined outside and the staff wore masks the whole time. I told them it was for my friends bday and they brought out the sparklers! The baked mac and cheese was delicious, the strawberry crunch cake left me wanting more, the honey salmon and rice was great as well. My friend said her crab cakes were really good too, but the garlic parmesan fries were very plain and unflavorful. Overall a great experience and I'd go back!

Awesome awesome awesome. Great food, seasoned to perfection, great customer service, great location, great atmosphere :the low lights was a plus, my family and I loved the ambience. And to top it all off its BLACK OWNED. Cant get no better. I definitely will be returning!

Noir surprised me!!! Small, quaint and full of neighborhoods life. It looks just as the pictures. This place is full of young adults whos looking for a good time, good environment and plenty of dancing. The ambiance is welcoming. The music choice is perfect for the Rap/Hip Hop/R&B head. BONUS: They offer Hooka & Food. As far as food, I've ONLY tried the steak eggs rolls from the new menu and they were delicious. Kitchen closes at 11pm.

The railway leading upstairs is really dark the service for drinks an food is really slow the young lady who waited on us was really nice but she was new an it was a little overwhelming for her but she was sweet the security were nice the music from the club took over our private event room an if you come in with a group you shouldn't have to pay together an everything had to be on one credit card

Excellent venue to visit! Courteous staff, hospitable and caring owners, great ambiance, good food and drinks! Chill adult crowd with great music! Check them out! The honey glazed salmon was awesome! The Caribbean drink and gummy bear martini was excellent...I was done after 2.. lol

Ambiance is nice and modern. Took lots of pictures. Recommend the wings, lamb chops, sweet potato casserole, shrimp and rice. Also recommend any drinks. The bar doesn't skimp on the alcohol. Service is excellent! We felt very well taken care of for Fathers Day.

As I Arrived At This Restaurant It Was Beautiful In & Outside This Was First Time & I Was Not Disappointed My Friend & I Came Here For The First Time Our Appetizer Was The Cream Of Crab Soup , It Had Depth Of Flavor I Never Expected. I Couldn't Stop Eating. For My Entree I Had The LAMB CHOPS & Rice. I Never Eat Peas But The Rice Was Soo Good I Didnt Pick It Out Like I Usually Do. 🤤🤤👏🏽 My COMPLIMENTS TO THE DAMN CHEF ..(UMM RAISE PLEASE) THE FOODGASUM I NEVER EXPECTED. The Mac & Cheese Was So Flavorful & Cheesy It Melts In Your Mouth. The Sweet Potato Fries Are Amazing. That Touch Of Powder Sugar At The End Was Lovely. I celebrated my birthday at Noir Restaurant & Lounge and I haven't had so much fun in years. Its very nice inside, its comfortable and the atmosphere was so enjoyable. The entertainment was great, the music was on point and the food was delicious. I was so very happy with the customer service as the ladies were so nice and attentive as well as the owner. It was so nice for him to greet and communicate with guest as that being something I dont always see in places. My overall experience was phenomenal and I will definitely be returning!

Understand that this place has 2 levels, the first floor which I've been to twice. Not yet on the second floor where the dance floor is. However the food is good and the vibe is nice. Noir has an chic urban atmosphere.

My husband and I traveled from Howard County to visit the restaurant for dinner and was not disappointed. Everything from the environment, music, drinks and food was perfect! I really appreciate how the owner of the restaurant comes around to check on all of the guests and even engages in conversation. We talked to the owner for a few minutes about all the restaurant has to offer and how it initially got started. He even gave us a little history about the area. In addition to the wonderful owner and great food & drinks, the service was on point! We were immediately greeted by the staff, checked on frequently for drink orders and provided updates on food status. My husband and I will certainly be visiting the restaurant on a regular basis. We are always happy to support to great establishment!

The food here is delicious! The staff was friendly and very attentive. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. We had Father’s Day brunch here and my family and I couldn’t even finish it all. Great environment! The food was good I just couldn't get with how they cut my shrimp up in my shrimp fried rice. Its like they gave me 5-6 shrimp and cut each shrimp up in 3-4 pcs. Same with the shrimp and grits.

Went for brunch. The food was delicious I had chicken and waffles my guest had shrimp and grits. We had bottomless mimosas. Customer service OUTSTANDING. Nice atmosphere. I recommend this spot. I will be paying them another visit soon. O by the way did I mentioned it is BLACK OWNED AND OPERATED.

I just stop in to see what Noir was about around 6pm , on a Saturday, had a funny order inside once I inter the lounge, but it was very nice inside and outside the lounge had Good food, good drinks and hostess was very nice . It’s a good place to come and have good food ,drinks and to chill.

I've been wanting to go to to this place and it exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious! My friend raved about his shrimp and grits, my wings were oh so good!. The service was fast! And don't get me started on the decor! The downstairs faces already nice. But What they're doing to the addition upstairs is out of this world! Definitely going to be the place to be! The owner was also very visible and hospitable answered all our questions and helped us get connected to other events hosted there.

I recently hosted my birthday dinner at Noir. Service was phenomenal! Atmosphere was bomb. There were about 12 of us & most of us loved our food. One of my guests had concern about a particular entree however the owner & chef quickly remedied the issue with a replacement meal. We were also able to sample new recipes. Thank you Tia, Corey, & Tony! A visit or two to Noir is recommended.

I was here for the 1st time last week for an open mic. I didn't know what to expect from the restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was beautiful. Well decorated, the lighting was flattering and it was very clean. I ordered Old Bay wings and wine, my friends got wings and mixed drinks. The wings didn't really taste like old bay but they were still delicious. They were crispy and flavorful. The server was attentive and kind, even though the place was packed. I will certainly be coming back.

My first time at Noir and I loved it. My friends wanted to take me out for my birthday and chose this lounge. When I walked up the owner Cory was very friendly, attentive and quick to get me seated. He recommended a few menu items and cocktails for me. Understandably, there are some service challenges during this pandemic but Tia N. did her best to make sure we were taken care of. The lambchops were delicious. My friends devoured the Noir wings and the sliders. We enjoyed the hookah and i was able to smoke a cigar. This restaurant definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

Karaoke night is definitely fun and it was nice being around people before the new variant ie back in the house for me. Anywho the service is a little lacking and the payment system is set up weirdly. No separate checks unless you're sitting separately from friends. Then it would seem like that section is together when it could be strangers sitting with you because of available seating. It's a bit on the pricey side. I heard there is a separate section for private parties. I haven't seen it but that's a nice addition, I think.

Noir the atmosphere is classy and relaxed. The drinks were good and strong. The food was delicious and hot. I ordered the lamb chops tender and juicy.The hostess/waiter was very pleasant and nice. The establishment did not have adequate amount of change. Overall experience was great!

It is a nice place to have a SMALL gathering or you and a few friends go to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Due to the size of this place the table and chairs are really close and leave little room for movement.The food was great!

The food was ok. Great service and ambiance. It would have been fine but a mouse decided to join us for dinner. A cook came out from the kitchen with a container and caught the it. That was enough for me. Manager seemed unbothered so I won't be back!

Nice, happy, great vibe. Owner is welcoming and service staff is prompt friendly and attentive. I had the lamb chops-delicious, great taste and the meat was very tender, falling off the bone. My wife had the salmon, which was freash and expertly prepared. We also had asparagus, well prepared...not too soft and not too hard - just the right consistency and delicious . I also had my favorite treat, sweet potato fries...very tasty. Good bar service good prices .

My fiance and I went there for a date night, we just pulled off, the food was delicious, they played great music, food didn't take long at all Nena (the hostess at the bar) was great I loved her, she took care of us and made great drinks. Next time I go back, I will call to see if she works that day or go on another Monday night! I like this place, even one of the owners checked on us!

Really glad we came here. Food and service was amazing. Steak egg rolls were so good I had to take an order Togo. They give you a nice pour of wine. The price point is low for the quality of product you receive in both food and alcohol. Owner came over to introduce himself was a really cool experience. If you are in the Baltimore area this place is 100 percent worth checking out.

Short and brief. I was there Monday evening for dinner with my guess we split a Ceasars salad we stopped after a few bites it was drenched and tasted sweet. For my entrees I had ribeye steak my guess had the salmon my steak was a little over for MR and overly seasoned. I asked to have the salmon instead it was was cooked perfectly but again tasted to sweet but it didn't stop me from finishing. The broccoli and asparagus was cooked perfectly. We then moved to the bar my guess had the noir house drink made by the lovely G.M. we then indulge in the night life upstairs and joining in on the karaoke the dj was awesome. Show started at 8 but they spent the first hour and a half finding ways to get more money. It was nice (except the bathroom) . Wings were great. Egg rolls were not. Drinks could have been better. The comedians/show was poorly put together but I won't hold that against the venue. I would be willing to go back for a second chance.

My sister and I came here earlier today for brunch. Amazing atmosphere, great mimosas, and absolutely delicious food. We split the shrimp & grits and chicken & waffles. Great flavor, good portions! We’ll definitely be coming back.

It was really nice. Small, but nice. The food was great. I went for an open-mic night and the hostess was great and kept the evening flowing and everyone entertained. The poets, comedians, singers, rappers, entrepreneurs and DJ were on point. Shout out to the waitress who was handling the tables.

Definitely wasn't a good first impression being as though it appeared to be a more upscale restaurant. Ambiance is nice, music overhead played commercials 🥴. We were told because there was a private party alot of food options may not be available, food was a lil bland. Ordered cream of crab, very salty,mac and cheese was overcooked and bland, and they didn't have ranch dressing for the wings. Wings were flavorable though. I'll visit again because I feel maybe this night just wasn't a good one for service 😕. It was a Tuesday night.

This was my first time visiting the establishment. I went on a Tuesday. The had a nice taco Tuesday special, the tacos were good. I ordered a drink and they didn't have the alcohol needed to make the drink. However, the bartender (Kelly) was really nice, so I wasn't too bothered. The space is very, VERY small but the décor is nice. And the bathroom is HORRIBLY DISGUSTING.! The stall doors were practically falling off the hinges. The smell was horrible, it smelled like old water, paint and undone construction. It was so bad, I couldn't even use it. I don't think I will be going back any time soon. At least not until the do something with the bathroom.

Food and drinks were very good however the music was so loud the waitress couldn't hear me so she bought me the wrong drink. Very nice place Parking is a little scarce. Street parking and I believe there's a lot in the back but I was not sure how to access it so I parked in the neighboring businesses lot.

Came here on a Friday night and got dinner and a show. The food and drinks were great. The shrimp cocktail, honey salmon, lamb lollipops, and the mac and cheese were my favorites. The mini crabcakes were a little too salty and we were disappointed that they ran out of the cheese steak eggrolls. Also, don't miss their signature noir cocktail, I was tipsy after 1! After 9ish the lights get dimmed and music gets turned up which we didn't mind it set a nice r&b ambiance that turned into a twerk fest.

Nov 16, 2019 on The top floor of Noir was rented by my friend for her 40th. It was nice but small. The charge for the rental of the space was outrageous especially since it didn't include food and beverages; cash bar I understood. The bartender managing the cash bar had a nice pour. I tipped her each time. I would never rent unless it included to feed my friends and family.

What a secret gem. The waitress and bartender were all smiles and pleasant. The drinks and food are not priced for peasants, which I like! The food is presented stylishly, the cocktails are well done! However, I would recommend adding a flavour to the cream in shrimp and grits. It just tasted only like heavy cream. Perhaps a tomato base or cajun base. I do plan to return!

A friend and I decided to try out Noir for Sunday Brunch and to our surprise it was more than we bargain for. The atmosphere was relaxing, waitress was attentive and fast, the FOOD was delicious and presentation was great. I’m always skeptical with black owned restaurants because of past experiences but these brothers have poured their heart and soul into their establishment. They definitely have gain a regular. 😊

ONE BAD VISIT TO NOIR! I've came here on multiple occasions and the food and service were equally Great, so I returned often introducing family and friends to this place. On this Thursday, the server was bad (lightskin leopard mask, not worth the 20% grat. she put on our tab and there were multiple issues with the food ...burnt waffles, and issues with all 3 orders of wings! Don't lose business due to low quality employees

Visit for yourself, your experience may differ ! I went there for the first and last time with my husband on 10/18/2020. The website talks a good talk but the ambiance once you get there is not the same. When we walked in, no one was there to seat us so we are just at the door standing looking around for atleast 3-5 mins. Then someone came to tell us hold on, then shortly seat us at a table that was wiped as we were walking to the table. We sat for a while then the same guy that sat us came and told us someone will be with us, we waited for a while then a very rude waitress came, no smile, no customer service, just dry..... My husband liked his drink , I didn’t like mine it had a weird after taste. Almost everything I tried to order was not available on a very small menu. No steak egg rolls, no chicken and waffles, no lamb chops —- at this point after driving 30 mins to get there I was ready to gooooo ! I got wings and mac and cheese and my husband got jumbo shrimp. The prices are reasonable and the food was very good by the way. However I will not go back. I was expecting a very good experience but it wasn’t. As everyone else mentioned the bathroom was bad

Went out to have a late dinner with my husband. Heard great things about the place. Black own, great food and pleasant staff. There was a dj playing early 90 R&B , and hip hop. He switched the tunes to more update music off and on. The crowd of people was civilized, dress appropriately while Enjoying the atmosphere. Cute date night location. A block down from the senator theater on York rd. Owner greeted everyone with a strong handshake. While everyone enjoyed their meals. Prices was reasonable. My glass of wine had a generous amount. Food portion was medium size. But the lambchops and salmons were delicious. The decor was beautiful. And arrive early to guaranteed a great seat. Space is small but cozy. It you celebrating try to call ahead or arrive early.

I finally had the pleasure of going to this restaurant, and I had an awesome time. The atmosphere, food, and staff were all great. I went for a birthday celebration, and I will be going back!! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mr. Brown, and he showed us other areas of the building that are being renovated for GROWN FOLKS to come and enjoy. I definitely recommend putting Noir on your "gotta check it out" list.

The place is small but quaint and cute! The owner was down to earth and nice. The reason for the 3 stars is because the food was a 3 out of 10 to me. Very bland not very seasoned for a soul food place. It's overly hyped up and its very basic to say the least. I wouldn't recommend the food but the drinks and the vibe was awesome. I would return but no food for me thanks!!

NOIR is a Baltimore Black Owned Lounge with Hookah and a great vibe! There’s plenty of parking, inside and outdoor seating. The strawberry crunch cake dessert was amazing, but service was very, very slow. Overall, I would still visit again.

I really enjoyed my dining experience at Noir. The food was good and tasted fresh, not prepared hours before I got there. The wait staff was very friendly and engaging, but not as sharp and professional as they need to be in a top class restaurant. They failed to have 2 of the drinks I requested so I settled on my 3rd choice, a glass of ordinary chardonnay. It was Karaoke night....and the music hat so loud it was difficult to talk to my dining companion. One of the owners sat and talked with us. Corey was engaging and a plus for the evening. Please do not refer to this as a Black establishment...as an older white man I was made to feel welcomed and valued. I hope others experience both the warmth of the personnel, the ambiance of the environment, and the deliciousness of the food. This is a welcomed addition to the Baltimore dining scene. Thank you. I was there this past Friday night finally. I had heard about this place and been following on IG, so I was happy to find time to go check it out. First, I loved the decor and ambiance. That was on point but I hate to say that is wear it ended. The space is small and tight. Hard to move around without saying "excuse me" a handful of times. The staff seemed a little unorganized and somewhat slow in my opinion. I asked if one of the tv's could turn to the MLB playoffs instead of some old movies on cable and they turned to a NBA preseason game of no consequence....said they couldn't find the game. The food presentation had a lot left to be desired....not at all like they show on IG. My wife had the Shrimp n Grits...shrimp was submerged in lumpy cheese grits that she had to fish around to find. I had the Steak Egg Rolls which looked nothing like the pics which show a nice presentation with a dipping sauce (no dipping sauce for me). They gave me ketchup in the little plastic to-go cups instead of in a ramekin. Overall it feels like corners were cut. This place could be so much better if they paid more attention to detail and stepped up the service side.

The front of the restaurant/lounge area was nice. The waitresses were okay. I feel like I could've gotten better customer service but it wasnt horrible. What WAS horrible was the bathroom! They put all this money into the front and the bathroom looks like it stepped right out of a horror film. Very disappointed by that. Otherwise, overall decent place to go to I guess.

Sunday brunch 11a-3pm..we arrived 11:45a and had to bang on the window to let us in. The door was still locked. The server mention something about the manager wasnt there. She was hesitant about letting us in even though they was suppose to be open at 11am. The feel of not being prepared was in the air. My friends wanted to leave but I said lets give it a chance. Anyway, first impression means alot and the decor definitively did pass. We sat down and order. She took our food order before drinks then we waited about 10mins for our drinks. 1 person order shrimp and grits..no grits. Some body ordered blueberry waffles..no blueberry, Somebdy wanted sugarfree syrup..no sugarfree syrup, 3 people ordered chicken and waffle..guess they was short on chicken too cause every body only received 2 pieces of chicken instead of 3. We was served 2 people at a time. Some ate while the others didnt. I was finish before the last person even received her food. The best thing that represent NOIR is the food. The steak was cook to prefection!, the waffle melts in your mouth. I certainly can say the food is so delicious, just the right portions and the presentation is awesome. The food was so good that all the negativity that went wrong went out the window. I will probably return later in weeks to come to experience their day/evening menu and crowd. I was kind of skeptical at first but the over all was nice. I Love giving my money to black own establishments. Just hate going to black own establishments thats not on point, because one never know who they will be serving that day. It was Tuesday night and I was extremely tired. I left out to drive on York Rd to find food. I pass Noir quite often, but never stopped in. I was greeted by the wonderful owner and his recommendation of the Noir- signature drink. I ordered the Alfredo to go and OMG sit was delicious. My wife and I came from out of town for date night/day and heard of their brunches in the area. We decided on this place. We should’ve went to the OTHER place because we were the second couple and the only couples for about 35 minutes which we placed our order soon as we sat down. While waiting for awhile we noticed people that came in after us was getting their meals. We opted to get the so called bottomless mimosas while waiting. ....Food finally comes out and the food was pretty good. I had steak and eggs and my wife had chicken and waffles. At the end of eating we were told they need our tables for other guests. Our plates wasn’t even clear yet. So we asked the host what do you mean so we can have a clear understanding and she explained again. We didn’t understand how do you put paying customers out as soon as they finished eating? We had also ordered food to go and while waiting we were having drinks. It’s $20 per person bottomless mimosas but you have to leave before your done drinking. We try to support our Black Owned businesses but it’s hard when things like this come up.. Oh and our waitress was not pleasant at all. Seem like she didn’t want to answer any questions at all. We had patronize other restaurants the day before and did not feel rushed , pushed out or over charged. After spending $134 for 2 people you want to feel like it was definitely worth it. I didn’t get that feeling.

Food pricey for what you get, had the Alfredo which is usually the least expensive thing on a menu and Alfredo without protein $18 with chicken $23 which was more than my wife's Lamb chops.
