This company is my new obsession. It's rare that I truly find something and write a review about it But, their products are just too beautiful not to share. I purchased a cutting borad for my kitchen that i thought was soo beautiful and of course when it arrived it's even more AWESOME in person. It's so beautifully made and crafted to perfection. It's a must have staple to add to your kitchen. I was so impressed that I reached out to the owners and asked if they could custom make a bench for my New York city apartment. Not having much space but still wanting a little nook for my kids to look out the window while they waited to leave for school in the morning or took off their muddy rain boots. Natalie and Julian Dion, contacted me the same day and said, "of course what are you looking for and how can we make it so your children love it." We went over logistics and soon it arrived just as we discussed. It was such a great feeling receiving a peice of furniture that will stay in our home forever.

Terrific experience with The Carpentry Shop> They built a large custom Trash Enclosure for an odd space. The beauty of it is matched by all the practical features needed - proper hinges and safety latches etc, The time between starting communications with them and delivery was impressively short. Their proximity to my location helped but in all aspects they were very professional and it is a great product.

I purchased 3 total pieces from this family owned business and I absolutely love them all! They were very professional to work with and brought my vision to life. I sent a message to them through their website explaining what I wanted and attaching photos of the area and similar items I was interested in. I received a message within a day and was able to pick out the wood and stains I wanted for my pieces. I ended up designing and purchasing a walnut live edge coat hook with a matching bench underneath with beautiful gold brass hooks and legs. It was so amazing to be part of the process and I am grateful for their partnership. I also ordered a red oak slab as a desk table. We already had a standing desk frame and needed the perfect top to bring the whole look together. Living in NYC it’s hard to find furniture that fits inside your apartment perfectly. Working with Natalie and Julian made that possible. The quality is well worth the price and I can finally throw away my old cheap furniture knowing these pieces will last!! Would definitely recommend.

They do beautiful high end work, and supply a variety of exotic and specialty hardwoods. The most beautiful gigantic slabs I have ever seen. Friendly and knowledgeable family business who deserve to thrive.
