I went to K&R to have a custom vanity built for my bathroom remodel. From start to finish, Fred was a pleasure to work with. He is extremely professional, communicative, timely and absolutely helpful overall. This is a family business, and clearly they apply expert craftsmanship to the work they do. I received my cabinet installed exactly when anticipated, and this was performed courteously and professionally. The quality/construction is excellent. LOVE IT. A special customization of a drawer was necessary in order to accommodate the under-sink plumbing, and it worked out beautifully. I would not question going to K&R again for a future project- Thank you!

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT FRED, HIS FATHER AND THE K&R FAMILY. Fred and his father created a custom vanity for our very small powder room sink during the height of COVID-19. The vanity is amazing and the work is true craftsmanship. He delivered the completed project early and slightly under the price quoted. K&R is a multi-generational, true custom cabinetry company (very few true custom cabinetry companies in NJ, most redo prefabricated work) and they are 100 percent dedicated to excellent customer service, fair pricing, and professionalism. After having an amazing experience with Fred and the team during our custom vanity project, we knew we would be back for the kitchen. Fred, his father and team turned our horrifying 1980's style 10 x 10 kitchen (with some original appliances) into the beautiful, sophisticated, sleek, functional and modern 20 x 20 kitchen of our dreams early and under budget. He is amazing with design and reworked several major structural issues - one with a plumbing stack that could not be moved and others with insulation and electrical issues. We have a huge island about 8ft x 4ft, cabinetry wrapping around the perimeter of the kitchen, pullout drawers and storage for our cooking and baking needs, custom compartments (wine storage) and custom cabinet spaces to fit the very unusual dimensions of our kitchen space. He did a complete gut renovation of most of our first floor. We now have a gorgeous modern flooring, recessed & pendant lighting and up-to-date electrical and plumbing. He helped us find amazing quartz countertops. We even had a flood in our garage leading up to the kitchen remodel and he helped us out. Fred has exceptional attention to detail - he's on or under target with price, honest and trustworthy. Some of the services (tile, electrical and plumbing) he subcontracts out to great vendors. I didn't even realize that one of the contractors I used happens to be the same one he uses! The demolition, drywall, tile work, electrical work, flooring and plumbing went exceptionally well because Fred knows how to pick the right people. We have recommended Fred and K&R to everyone we know. We will definitely be working with Fred & K&R on future projects.

Initially went to K&R for a full re-design/install of a gutted kitchen, but ended up using them for my Laundry room and Master Bath. During our first meeting with Fred, he listened to all of our needs and used visuals for inspiration. During our second meeting, he provided us with 3D imaging of the design which perfectly aligned with what we were looking for. Throughout the process we never felt pressured , and anything we wanted changed in the design, even after the finalized specs were signed off, Fred made sure to modify right away. When it came time for installation , K&R was timely, and the team got the entire Kitchen, Master Bath, and Laundry done in 2 days. Even after the job was done, when I had an issue with a cabinet door a few months later, Fred and Team handled the warranty process swiftly and replaced the door. Thank you Fred and Team for making a stressful process run smooth!

Fred and his family at K&R are truly masters of their trade. We recently used them to design our kitchen and were so impressed by their design that we ended up having them design our bathroom vanities and laundry room. K&R did a great job renovating our kitchen (during COVID!). Fred and his father love what they do and care deeply about keeping the customer happy. We encountered no "surprises". They are always very responsive and will walk you through any questions (at any time). They are very good about coordinating all the trades that have to come thru your home during a kitchen reno (plumber, electrician, drywall, etc). The electrician they use also cares about his work and will take the time to make sure everything is clean and to code. He went out of his way to help us with several requests. We went out to several others for pricing on this full kitchen gut and Fred + Family made us feel the most comfortable for the right price. I would definitely recommend.

The K and R master carpenters were experienced professionals who are efficient, communicative, and provided my family with a quality product. Everything went as planned and there were no surprises or hidden costs. The K and R team came out for the initial estimate and shortly after their visit they provided pricing and a payment schedule. Our installation was planned for 2 months out. The day came and they arrived with all of the materials and their crew. In 3 days they transformed my kitchen dramatically by refacing the existing boxes and replacing doors and drawers. They even went the extra mile and installed soft close hinges and chunky crown moulding! They were hard workers who were respectful of my home and family. I would 100% recommend K and R carpentry for cabinet refacing!

Can I just say that I never write reviews but the K&R cabinetry family is really the BEST! As new home owners it really is hard when you don't know anything about going through a renovation but Fred and team really made everything painless and a joy to watch unfold. They are with you every step of the way and will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Believe me I bothered them a lot we with all my questions. And when they give you the timeline they really stick to it. If you are looking for a new kitchen don't hesitate, all I can say is that they really treat you like family.
