We cannot say enough good things about Nick and the whole crew at ModerNash. From our first visit and consultation all the way through the entire process we were kept updated regularly. Everything was done on schedule and at the price that was quoted. All our questions and changes to original plans were not a problem and everyone was eager to help. Our new kitchen looks fantastic! My honest opinion

After reading Nicks reply I reached out and asked him to send me the emails and the design he said they had made, which he did right away. Because of his sincere reply and honesty I have changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. I do not know why these emails are not in my inbox, all other communications are still there, but things happen. I have to say I feel my wife would have liked the design and likely went with it, also all the questions we had were answered. As I said we appreciated the effort to accommodate us in the timeline available, I do not feel it was a mistake to use your Junior designer. If we have another project in the future we would consider visiting Nick and his company again. I am leaving my original post below for clarity. Have to say I was impressed at the start but that changed to disappointment in the end. At the beginning of the year, we inquired about their kitchen design service. I received a reply from Nick that day with the options, we responded that we wanted to come into their design center, what we had for appliances and what we were looking for. When I did not hear back, I made numerous calls that were never answered (no way to leave a message). I sent a follow up email 2 weeks later and Nick replied that day with an apology, he had missed our email, ok it happens. He informed us appointments were 2 weeks out at that time, unfortunately we were coming into Nashville the following week but would stop by anyways to look around and set up one in the future. Nick then informed us he would have someone available for us when we came into town. When we arrived, our designer was having trouble setting up the system. We were informed, they were new and this would be their first solo session, not a problem. We were not pressed for time, they needed to kick the training wheels off so to speak and we were happy to have an appointment, so a win for everyone. They also had problems with the software again not a problem or their fault, if you have ever used Ikeas program you would totally understand. With all the problems we went over our allotted time, there were several questions that they could not answer. The designer verified our contact information, assured us they would follow up with our questions and we left. Days turned to weeks, to months, I'm not going to force a company to take my money, we would have spent over 16k just in cabinets and hardware alone. I believe we were very open minded with everything that happened. If you look at my other posts, I am big on customer service, in the end, we went elsewhere, spent more but did not have to worry about service or headaches. Pictures on Google are misleading, the new store (only one picture dated Nov 2020) is nothing like their old showroom (numerous pictures of the old design center) and not sure if the kitchens are ones they installed. New location has very little on display (one small room) so do not expect much. Don't know why they changed locations, but great customer service would make up for a small showroom.

I can't say enough good things about the entire ModerNash team! They helped take a bunch of mismatched appliances to create a sleek office kitchen. It was a puzzle, but they kept at it until it was perfect. Their problem-solving, attention to detail, patience and desire to please was much appreciated and we are thrilled with the results!

This store is very clean and the gentleman that was there over the weekend was very friendly. Unfortunately it wasn't cheaper to buy ikea products that they currently had in Stock in there store. They charge a delivery fee for each item. So you end up paying an extra $50 bucks extra. I took the trip to Memphis and saved myself $300. I only had to refill gas once $27. I drove alone so I laid my passenger seat back and was able to fit. The 2 malm night stands(2 boxes) malm 6 drawer dresser(3boxes), The king size malm high bed with 4 storage drawer (2 large thin boxes and 2x drawer storage and the loroy beams and a silver support base. I drive a 2013 jeep patriot. I don't like to waste money, so if you don't care to waste $$, or just buying one item then this store is definitely for you..

My son is a college student in Nashville and was moving to an off campus apartment due to Covid-19. We live in New Jersey and had to find and furnish an apartment quickly. One of the parents recommended ModerNash on the Vanderbilt University's parent facebook page and I couldn't be more pleased. Nick was responsive and wonderful. He helped me pick out our IKEA furniture and kept me informed as to what he could get and where and how soon. It is stressful moving across the country but Nick was attentive and made me feel taken care of. The service they provide was professional as they were there from picking out items to picking up items to delivering and assembling the furniture. They were neat, on time and the whole experience was perfect from beginning to end. I highly recommend them!!! I would definitely use them again and again!

We purchased our kitchen cupboards from Modern Nash. Having never designed anything I was very nervous and cautious on hiring anyone. After one phone call to Nick, we went to meet him for an in-store consultation. We liked his ideas and decided and to go with him. He came to the house to measure the space and within a week he showed us a video with a design that fit our lifestyle perfectly. We loved it! I can’t say enough about Nick and his team Jackson and Tony. The installation process was timely smooth and painless. They were so pleasant and professional to work with. The after sale was the best we have ever encountered. When an accident occurred (many months later) and one of the drawer pulls was bent, Nick replaced it immediately at no cost to us. Who does that? ModernNash that’s who!

Always great service from Nick and the team! I actually enjoy the DIY design, assembly, and install, but I've still found their services to be very valuable getting items from the Memphis store that aren't available ship-to-home from IKEA's website. They get an extra bump up in my book for gracefully navigating all the IKEA stock issues during COVID times. I was surprised to see any poor reviews here, but it looks like most of those either don't place a very high value on their 6+ hours of time it takes to drive to Memphis and back, or they were really reviewing IKEA.

I highly recommend Modern Nash. Nick and the team were great. Very responsive, punctual, friendly, and made sure it was perfect. It was well worth the money to save the time of travel to/from Memphis and not to have to assemble the furniture. I love the pieces and highly recommend working with Modern Nash!

We have been overwhelmingly happy with the service we received from Nick at ModerNash. Everyone knows how frustrating Ikea shopping in general can be, and Nick takes out all the guesswork. He offered suggestions for our space and recommended safety hardware for the cabinets we're building. He let me make multiple adjustments to my order as things came in and out of stock, without charging me for extra shipping or processing costs. The price you pay to ModerNash to get your items from Ikea Memphis works out to about the same amount you'd pay to have it shipped - and it's much faster. All around wonderful business!

We had a terrific experience remodeling a kitchen with ModerNash and will use them again if we are in need of these services. Nick is most professional and courteous and quick to schedule appointments for his free kitchen remodel designs, at your home or in the office. Every step of the process, from the design to the buying of cabinets and then installation went smoothly, and everyone we dealt with was top notch - polite, smart, and skilled. The finished product was beautiful and got the look of a much more expensive new kitchen at probably half the price of some kitchen remodeling companies. I love ModerNash for furniture, as well, and love that they will assemble it for a small charge.

We recently renovated our 80 year old kitchen with ModerNash, and if I could give them 6 stars, I would! Nick was so helpful in the planning and ordering process, and his team installed our kitchen cabinets beautifully. This place rocks! They had my stuff from the Memphis IKEA in a week, charged me less than IKEA would for neighborhood delivery, helped me carry my items to the car, and the salesman was a hoot. Very knowledgeable about IKEA'S offerings. I highly suggest using their service. One downside is that the warehouse was slightly difficult to find because it's in a weird area, tucked behind a few other buildings.

I have worked with ModerNash both for Ikea items that I had delivered, items I had them assemble and now, an Ikea kitchen. THEY ARE WONDERFUL! We moved here from DC and discovered Nick and ModerNash when we found out there was not an Ikea here. He has been a real resource. First for ordering. They delivered and assembled beds and dressers. When we finished our garage, Nick designed the kitchen. I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about them.

If you need furniture for a convention - look no further than ModerNash. It's cheaper for you to purchase IKEA products through them, and have them deliver directly to the convention with furniture assembled then it is to rent from the convention organizers. If it was possible to give ModerNash more than 5 stars I would've. They were, by far, the best company to deal with while preparing for the convention in Nashville. These folks take the headache out of dealing with Ikea. If you have ever driven to Ikea from Nashville to make a purchase, then you know what I'm talking about! No multi-hour car ride, or frustrating calls to associates at Ikea who don't care after you find that your order is damaged or wrong. Did I mention ModerNash can process your return less a restocking fee? Awesome! I had too many leftovers from a recent cabinetry installation. ModerNash took them back and procured items that I ordered wrong. The fee was well worth it. They also took care of a rush order for a cabinet we needed but couldn't find. These folks are gems. As much as I like traveling to Atlanta and fighting the traffic to see the sights and make a visit to IKEA, I value my time and appreciate great customer service. By going to Modernash, I can take my measuring tape, get a feel of how the furniture will fit in my space and look at the catalogs and visit online while there at the very cool showroom. Nick was very helpful in helping me plan a home office makeover, advising me what materials to use (and not use) and how to custom design a space using a mix of kitchen cabinets and storage solutions that quite frankly, one will never get in a predesigned, built massive piece of expensive furniture. I was pleasantly surprised that I could have a custom designed office at a very reasonable budget. Checkout was easy. Highly recommended! Very helpful and Nick really understands what customer service is. They don't offer free meatballs, but I understand there's a good Italian restaurant down the street.

So I called up Modernash and they came to my house and installed my kitchen cabinets. Amazing service! Before I knew ModerNash existed, I designed my IKEA kitchen on my own and with the help of the Kitchen Services team at the Memphis IKEA. But as delivery time drew near, I got more and more nervous about my ability to successfully get all these pieces together, installed, level, and flush. My husband found ModerNash and holy smokes are we glad he did. The team put our kitchen together in a fraction of the time it would have taken us, and it's flawless. What's more, they've cultivated relationships with several IKEA locations and distribution warehouses...so when some of our drawer fronts and panels were continually put on backorder, they were able to source the very last pieces I would have never been able to get on my own. Nick, Josh, and Tony are hands down the greatest team. Do not hesitate making the investment!
