What a great family owned company! Ryan designed, built, and installed the most beautiful bookcases in my family room. He is such a nice, talented guy. I strongly recommend him for any carpentry needs.

After searching long and hard and in vain for a long, low media console to go under my flat screen TV, I decided to have one custom made. Ryan made me a beautiful freestanding, walnut media cabinet just like a photo I found online. It's gorgeous. Ryan is friendly and easy to work with. He does excellent work and gets it done when he says he'll get it done. I think his prices for the quality of work he does are excellent. He provides advice and direction throughout the design and construction process -- providing a detailed computer design before the project begins, delivering stain samples during construction, helping me find a vendor for the type of door pulls I wanted, and staying in communication throughout the project. I highly recommend him!

I could not be more impressed with how professional and skilled Ryan is! We hired him to install custom built-ins on either side of our fireplace and they turned out amazing!! He gave us the option to paint them ourselves to save on time and money and I am so happy that he did! Most contractors wouldn't give you this option. Being able to do the paint work ourselves we have been able to enjoy our new home project sooner than we would have had we needed custom painters to come in, it also doesn’t hurt that we saved a little money going this route! Ryan was able to complete our total instal in a day and a half. We were so shocked (in the best way) by how quickly and efficiently he worked. We could not be happier with how everything turned out and I will be recommending him to anyone and everyone I know who needs any kind of home improvement! I highly recommend reaching out to him regardless of the scope of your project! I have a feeling we may be reaching out to him for future home improvement projects for years to come!

We cannot recommend Ryan enough. We contacted three contractors to bid our office project, and we are so glad we chose Cherrywood. Ryan was very reasonably priced, had excellent follow through during construction, and completed the job ahead of schedule. He took our vague ideas, offered sound advice and solutions, and communicated an extraordinary attention to detail throughout the design and building phases. Our office built-ins are solid, attractive, and exactly what we needed.

I was in a bit of a pickle, in that I had a sliding drawer cabinet with bent slide tracks. Our cabinets are custom, but the original installer had retired a few years ago. The first person I contacted made several attempts, but was unable to make it right like before. Luckily my next attempt was with Ryan. I get that it's a pandemic, but I was a bit skeptical that Ryan was going to properly diagnose and solve the problem without coming in person. I shared pictures and sent him measurements via text. When Ryan came to the door, he was ready, and his solution worked perfectly unlike my previous handyman. I will definitely consider Ryan for any similar projects I may have in the future, large or small.

Ryan helped us when our wall-mounted over-the-range behemoth of a microwave died. We decided to get a modest modern microwave for over the stove, and therefore needed a custom shelf solution where the large mounted old microwave had been. Ryan discussed the project using photos on the phone prior to arriving, and then he was done in about 5 hours, doing the disassembly and, construction, and painting all himself. We are very happy with the solution. I'll add a picture when I can. Will definitely call on Ryan again when more cabinetry/custom shelving issues arise. Thanks!

Ryan worked miracles with a really odd-shaped room I wanted outfitted as a closet. After looking at retail closet installers, I wasn't happy with the quality of the materials, so I thought I would see if I could afford something custom. I am so glad I contacted him. His rate was comparable to some of the fake wood for which I might have had to settle. Now I have a fantastic walk-in closet made of real wood. It's just beautiful. He does what he says he will do and when. He has restored my faith in contractors.

I have used Ryans services to create a walk in closet, out of a spare bedroom, via long distance phone calls, texts, emails... etc! He performed all the work in his shop, then drove all the pieces to my home, and assembled it just like a puzzle!!! Even long distance, his support and knowledge and was AMAZING! I've also used his services on smaller projects, in which I sent him plans/pictures... and the final results were MORE beautiful than anything that would have been store bought! 💖 You get what you pay for!!! Hard to express how pleased we are with Ryan and the entertainment center he built for us! We visited every retail store that we could think of in search of something that was capable of holding a large amount of dvds. No luck! We then went to "custom" furniture/cabinetmakers for designs and estimates as well as having several of them visit the home to provide details/designs. No one totally listened to what we wanted. Then we found Ryan! Worked with us to build what we wanted -- style, wood, stain, no pulls, dimensions, floor clearance and more. Provided computer drawings in advance, completed and delivered when promised with excellent quality. Great to work with.
