We met Dan somewhat serendipitously as we were considering several different home projects. Ultimately, we contracted Dan to build us a new deck for the summer. We couldn’t be happier with the results; the deck is everything we hoped it would be and more thanks to Dan’s exceptional craftsmanship and attention-to-detail. In fact, several of Dan’s suggestions has our deck looking BETTER than the model ones in the decking catalogue. Leading up to and during the project, Dan was an excellent communicator. Additionally, Dan was always punctual arriving with a warm smile and a great attitude. And, when there were some product order and delivery issues (not because of Dan), he was easily able to adjust on the fly so things stayed on schedule for the project’s completion. I cannot imagine working with a carpenter who is more skilled, thorough, reliable, and honest than Dan. No doubt, we will work with him again for future home improvement projects when the time comes. Do yourself a favor and contract Dan.

Dan created built-in bookcases for us. He is responsible, always on time, met the deadline, collaborates well, and is a wonderful craftsman. He took into careful consideration the period details of our 1899 Victorian, and crafted a sturdy, useful piece of furniture that fit into and did justice to the craftsmanship of that period. Highly recommended.

Dan was great. He was very easy to work with and did a great job. He was patient with us as we worked through a design for our built-in shelving. He was prompt and open in his communications. He started and finished the work on time and for the amount he estimated. Plus he’s a very nice guy and we really like him! (Not a requirement but a real plus!)

Daniel from Brackenfern Woodworking and Carpentry was very professional and prompt in returning our emails. We had our fireplace mantle and surrounding fireplace upgraded with a new mantle and shelving. Daniel took our vision and ideas and came up with a beautiful design with and exceptional end result that we were very happy with. Our living room takes on a whole new look now. He pays special attention to details, uses only high quality materials and communicates well with any design decisions before moving forward. Daniel designed and installed trim that covered a run of electrical wiring on an opening between 2 rooms. The results are beautiful, you would never guess that the trim is anything but decorative.
