Decent car wash that dries the car fairly well. Free vacuuming however I found that the only nozzle they had was one that was fairly wide so if you’re looking to get into the little nooks and crannies between the seats in the console or a little tight areas this won’t work well for you. Suction is excellent however. Some of the other car washes in town do you have different size vacuum nozzles. I also found that when I was trying to vacuum my trunk area the hose for the vacuum barely reached to the back of the car so I ended up going through the front of the car on the SUV to the rear to get to some of the spots. Service was decent. Before the car wash they used a pressure washer to spray some of the front of the car and the sides but didn’t spend much time doing that and then the car went promptly through the wash so I don’t think it really helped all that much.

We just moved to this area and I came across Thomas Car wash. While I typically like a full service wash, 95% of time time I only need an exterior wash. So, I gave Thomas's a try. Boy was I pleased. The wash was excellent, the drying system was better than I expected and my car came out clean Then I found out that for a very low monthly cost, I could get unlimited washes for both of our cars. Sign me up! Now, my cars are clean ALL the time with a no hassle excellent car wash that's fast and efficient.

I used to live in this area so I stopped here coincidentally. I really liked it, but when I moved I tried other places out by me. None of them were as good, or they charged a ton to use the vacuums, and 1 even almost scratched up my car. That was 5 years ago and I still drive 20 minutes to go here instead of anywhere else by me. I get the middle wash option ($15) and I seem to get a good clean each time. They have plenty of free vacuums and even when it's busy I've never had trouble getting into 1. I also love that they have an area with a pressure washer to clean floor mats, and I've even used it for the plastic part of my kid's booster seat. Definitely recommend.

I paid for the 20$ wash and was very disappointed my car still had loose dirt on it was hoping for a much better outcome but was disappointed in the quality of this facility. 75% clean may be better to adjust the pricing to reflect the quality now.

Best car wash in town!!! Sunday evening was a busy time here. But the staff handled it well and got everyone in and out. My only complaint is the big huge red balls they have to guide you in the right track are way to close. I seen a F150 have a hard time getting around the curve. The lady in front of actually put her car in reverse and almost hit me to move out of his way. But other than that the car wash washes my car great every time. Theres different levels of washes you can get. I got the $15 wash which includes the works and a self serve vacuum when finished. Theres also a machine for washing floor mats for free. Every vaccum I've ever used words great. There could be a bit more suction but for free I will take it. My car hasnt looked better from any car wash in town.

So much fun at a car wash. I am 24 and this is my first time seeing anything like this. The automatic wash is never going to get the gunk built up on your car , BUT it is worth the sight and also enjoyment for kids.

Does a decent job the chain that pulls the car thru the wash needs to be slowed down for a better wash especially for $18. Bugs still on the front of car, dirt still on the rear fenders. The colors inside the wash are good for kids.

Great unlimited wash with a sticker on the windshield, and you drive up, and it recognizes your tag and wash plan. It's a little out of the way, but I really like the facility, large # of vacuums, and the setup to clean my winter mats. Does a great job keeping my vehicle clean.

I LOVE this place & come here every week with my monthly $35 ez-pass.😊 Each employee that I have ever encountered has been kind, courteous, friendly and hardworking. There is always someone around making sure things are working properly, processes are moving smoothly and keeping the place clean. 4 stars. If they supplied microfiber towels and had mini air compressors at each vac station, (even if just for the monthly members) such as Cheetah Wash does for everyone. I would give them 10 stars. Those air compressors really make a difference.

I love this place. Encourage you to take monthly plan and avoid wait time on counters. The wash process is fast and smooth and also you get free vacuum ( though free vacuum are available at almost all washes). The staffs are helpful if you need any assistance.

The Audi dealer said I can use a car wash like this every day and not hurt my convertible top. I pay $20 per month for all the above basic washes I want, normally $10 per wash. Really nice to slide through the payment gate with little interference. My wife and I only use one of several Thomas Car washes. I don't work there and don't know anyone who does.

Employees have been very nice, car wash does an excellent job. I do the "Works" wash for $25/mo and it's worth every penny! I never have any dirt spots left on my car, and the blowers do a great job drying the car. (There is always some residual water from the mirrors and trunk area, so bring a microfiber if you worry about water spots) For the price and service, I couldn't be happier :)

Consistent as usual. Car always leaves squeaky clean, and vacuums are strong and plentiful. Attendants are always helpful and trash is regularly emptied. Love the Thomas family washes. I can remember going to the one on Bardstown Rd as a small child back in the 80's. It was always a treat to watch the car be washed from inside and see the fast hand towel drying outside.

Auto came out clean, wheels were particularly dirty from brake dust. Back of car was given extra spray before car entered the wash tunnel. Nice vacuum area to finish the job. Good value for the money.

First time at this car wash today. Don't trust car washes with my new camaro but friends talked me into going. Did a great job cleaning the car. They sprayed the car down before going in which helps with the dirt and bugs. Free vacuums and mat cleaners. Will definitely be back.

I enjoy the service I receive at the car wash! I get a good shine on my truck and wheels each time I pull away. What I appreciate most is being able to use the Quick Pass at the Buechel location, add a nominal amount, and get a full service wash! Fortunately, I live centrally between the two locations, so I don't have to travel out of my way for either service! And the customer service I've received at both locations has been quality. I'm very appreciative!

Thomas Car Wash is a great place to get your vehicle clean. The workers are helpful. What is even better is that the vacuum is free. It's conveniently located at the corner of Hurstbourne Lane and Taylorsville Road.

This was my favorite car wash at one time, but there's some misleading info that I wonder about. Why is $5 Car Wash advertised all around the building BUT, that's NOT the price that's offered when you get ready to pay. Now yes, I will pay because I like the guys and girls that work there, they're friendly. All in all, it's a convenient location for a quick wash. Keep up the good work y'all.

The guys that work there are always smiling and extremely nice. When I pull up they ask every single time how I am doing. Not once have I gone there and nobody waved and aknowlaged me. They always make me feel at home. I go 2 times a week. The place is always clean, the garbage bags are always being changed. I just love pulling out of the car wash parking lot because I am confident that my car is looking GOOD!! My wheels are always shining nicely when I leave this place. I tell people about how great this place is all of the time. What's funny is when I tell people about it, a lot of them already go here because they are as happy with their car wash as I am. By far the best Car Wash I have ever used. I always get the best wash package they offer. And I never thought it would be possible for a machine to do. But it washes, waxes, shines tires and dries the car off just as well as if I did it myself. And that's saying something. I've owned my own body shop for years and I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to cars. Not only does it do it just as well. It does it in about 60 seconds! After I realized how well it did. I started going once a week or more. The I noticed I was spending around $80 a month to have my car washed! 😰 So I looked at their monthly plans the next time I was there. And for the top of the line unlimited package that I liked. Ends up paying for its self after TWO car wash's!! So as long as I make it there twice a month it pays for its self. And the rest of my washe's for the month are free! It can't be beat. And free vacuums and free floor mat cleaners. I had never seen or used a floor mat clean before. So I tried it the other day. And I'll be damned. That thing is awesome too! The whole facility is also extremely well kept. I don't think I've seen any dirt or litter/garbage anywhere. Overall, it's just a really nice experience. And as funny as it sounds. I look forward to the car wash every week! It's my little break away from everything else that's going on In life. It's my therapy! Lol

I think this is one of the most forward thinking families in the local car wash industry. I have visited other car wash companies in other large cities and Thomas is by far the best priced in the region. I have seen prices for the monthly unlimited washes for as much as $69 and that doesn't include free vacuuming. The workers, I have found to be are very friendly and helpful to any concerns I may have. Alex Thomas has always been a call away if there is a problem or even to share a new addition to the Thomas family. Great service, product and great people to know and trust with your second most valued purchase of that being your vehicle.

This is my favorite car wash. Attendants pressure wash your front end and rims before you enter the car wash which makes a big difference. At other car washes I have to use the big prep station myself if I want my front end to get completely clean. The vacuums work great.

For all the bad reviews you might think about this place it's all from Regal Car Wash. Thomas Car Wash took over and it is an amazing experience. They are always happy and friendly. Also if there's any other Uber drivers best place ( monthly pass ) in town to have your car done and you can claim it on your taxes.

This is a very nice place to wash your vehicle they offer free vacuuming and complimentary Mat cleaning stations for both rubber/carpet mats. I've had a good experience here Everytime. The only thing I think that could be improved is some of the vacuum hoses need fixed and vacuum's as well. For the washing some of the prep employees don't even pre spray your vehicle that's a most that needs to be done!

Every year during periods of ice and snow the city puts down corrosive chemicals to make the roads safer to drive on. Unfortunately those chemicals get on every part of your car and can cause lots of problems. Needed quick, inexpensive car wash to get them off both the body and undercarriage. This place did just fine. Free vacuums are a good bonus.

Super cheap if you look through the menu for the cheapest option. Only one experience with the more expensive washes and it didn't seem worth the price difference unless shined tires are super important to you. Kept up well, works quickly, and the vacs work pretty good, and are free as advertised.

I like the car wash convenience.i use it regularly but there are a couple of things that could be better. Not sure what changed but blower doesn't remove as much water off the car as it used to. Blue water left on car. I always have to towel off. The shine that goes on the tires must go on pretty heavy because by the time I get to my next destination it is all over the area by the tires. The wax on the winshield gets foggy when it's rainy. A little more space between cars when it's busy would be great too. Someone actually put their brakes on in the car wash ahead of me. Thanks if any of these can be corrected. Still the best car wash in town 🙂

I find it amazing that they have car washing understood so well that they can charge double the amount between the wash that sprays off pollen or dust and the wash that will also eliminate bugs and bird poop. Overall it seems fine. I didn't pay the extra amount. Wiped down one area myself afterwards. Vacuum area makes it a bit more worth it. 👍

I think this is the cleanest my car has been from a machine wash. Even my mother mentioned how clean it looks. I think its because they pressure wash the dirt off before you go through the auto wash. This could help keep the washer rags cleaner and prevent scratches. I haven't seen anyone else do that. Its good.

Great car wash in the east end! Affordable prices, free vacuums, and free carpet cleaner. One suggestion to make it even better would be to have a mirror at the entrance of the car wash so drivers could see where to align their wheels on the railing.

I have been reading some of these reviews and was disappointed in most of them. HOWEVER, these bad reviews were all related to the previous owners NOT the new owners. If you look at the History of Thomas Car Wash you will know the superb service you get at both locations. So, please before you decide to just take the bad reviews to heart try the wash now that is under new ownership. I have known this family for years and you will not find anyone more proud of their work and their name.

Not sure why everyone is specifically praising the staff, every time I have been here lately the young guys who pre-wash cars don't even look at my car, do only about 1/4 of the pre-wash, then literary turn their backs to me and start texting, with the wand still in their hands! The wash itself is great though and I really like the self service vacuum at the end.

It is hit and miss with them. When they do a good job it is great, but then there are the times they do horrible. Plus they advertise "7 days a week" but they close for every holiday that the banks do. Gets irritating when I conduct business on these holidays and can't get my vehicle washed when I need to wash it.

Best place in Louisville for self service car wash. They prep your windows before you go through the automatic car wash and they give you unlimited time to vacuum your car. They even have a automatic car mat machine that cleans your mats that is included in the price.

So I have a full size SUV and a Full size Sedan. I would give this place 5 stars for my sedan and about 3 stars for my SUV. So I want to note that it depends on your car. It might just be my Highlander, but I have tried every wash from cheap to expensive and it never cleans the back hatch well. It either leaves massive amounts of soap, or doesnt clean at all. Other than that it makes my black SUV look great. Alas that is like saying it does great on 75% of the car. On the other hand my sedan always looks great. I love the vaccuum and also the floor mat cleaning inside where you pay. If you have not used the floor mat cleaning take some time and go do it. Your shoes are the dirtiest thing you put in your car everyday. I use them about once a month on each car, and I have not had any reason to switch. I have asked about the back of my SUV before and they have offered to rerun it through. I did and didnt have the heart to go back and tell them it still did it. SO usually I have low expectations for that part of my car, but nothing a little meguiars can fix. I like the local feel. All around a great business.

This is asolutely my favorite place to wash my cars! The vacuums are always powerful, the car wash has rainbow foam, and fun lights, so the kids always have a blast. The staff are always smiling and helpful. The monthly pass is a steal! Pro-tip: The Taylorsville/Hurstbourne location is far superior to the Bashford manor location. It's not even close.

I had just visited another car was and needed something better, here I found a $5.00 drive thru wash, with 2 techs walking around pre spraying tough spots, plus they do not lock you out of the vacuum bins if something gets pulled out of your car, this speaks volumes about their character... :)

Only complaint is that as soon as you drive out the bottom of your car is dirty again. The tire-shine application is too heavy and it gets thrown off the wheels onto the side of the car. Really bad on a white or light colored car. It is not from the wet pavement as you drive out but it is from the tire-shine.

Thomas Car Wash is a adult on Hurstbourne it's been out there for years it's been in the highest point of the Louisville metropolitan area for years I wanted High Point doesn't exist anymore but the names and all is good they now over in buechel there's a Thomas Car Wash over there and I guess you would call it the old-fashioned Hands-On service and all the employees are covid-19 follow the rules to Nice Car Wash it's been there for years is a hand on car wash the other ones are pretty much automatic I mean it's an automatic when you go to the car go through but there's a lot of things on it
