First time we stopped by a couple weeks ago it was so cold. Walter came out to the parking lot to help us, at the time we were in search of work vans and none were available. Went back New Years Eve ISO of personal vehicle. Walter was extremely helpful, friendly, and just made our experience a great one! Sitting and talking with Walter while filling out paperwork we also found out that he knows my husbands father. Talk about a small world. Fast, friendly service. Would definitely do business with again. Would definitely recommend!!

I can’t say a enough about the experience we had with Alan Spencer. Alan stepped us through the purchasing process making it a truly enjoyable experience. I usually hate talking to car sales representatives, but Alan was different in his approach and made it fun. We had experience with Alan when my daughter purchased her first car through an actual dealership. Again Alan made that an easy enjoyable process for our daughter as a first time buyer. This is one of the main reasons we decided to use Hatchett for the purchase of our new truck. Our daughters boyfriend is now in the process of looking for a new or used truck and guess what Alan again is working hard to try to find something that will both fit his needs and his budget. I went to Hatchett Buick GMC not knowing if I would like the mid size Buick or not. I test drove the Envision and was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the seats and the smooth drive it had. Did test drive others to compare anything available but it is slim pickens out there, if on a budget. Would not consider used, after an issue I have had, so it was very tough. Highly recommend Hatchett. Thank you to the sales and finance employees for a nice experience.

I just purchased a 2023 AT4 from Hatchett and the purchase was one of the least stressful vehicle purchases I have ever made. My Salesman, Alan Spencer was super good to work with. He definitely was a no pressure salesman. I purchased a truck that Hatchett had previously ordered, but wasn't in yet. Even with the craziness of the industry, the truck still came in very close to the date they had originally estimated.

The lady who I scheduled appointment with was very friendly and cordial. The service advisor, Parker Burke, was very professional and kept me advised as to service and what was needed. The only downfall was it took one month to schedule a service appointment. This is not the fault of the two previously mentioned associates, but of the company not having the correct number of needed mechanics. The mechanic that did the repair did an excellent repair and cleaned up after his or her self.

Parker was so friendly and knowledgeable! He let me know that I have different tires on my vehicle and to keep an eye on them but they would more than likely get me to next winter. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Hatchett Buick GMC. The salesman, Travis McCrary, was fantastic. He was not a high pressure salesman. His communication was timely in letting me know when the truck I was looking for was available. He also did his research and showed us the answers to our questions. He showed us the answers and that lent more credibility to what he was telling us. Travis was transparent on pricing and showing us how he was getting his numbers during the negotiation on the price of the vehicle. The sales team were great on reaching a fair price on my trade in and did not try to nickle and dime me. Hatchett was trusting with the test drive with how long we could test drive the vehicle and where we could go on the test drive. The dealership was quick to offer to remedy the issues identified with the purchased vehicle at no additional cost. The finance department was fantastic. He offered, but did not push any services on us. The finance department was very flexible with the terms of payment. Honestly, everything about the buying experience at Hatchett exceeded my expectations. If you're looking to purchase a vehicle, I highly recommend Travis McCrary and Hatchett Buick GMC.

Walt was good to work with. Really extended an extra courtesy to my wife for her test drive which I appreciate. Think that’s what sold her. Did have a miscommunication with Walt about a tow package which was disappointing but still like the car. Last I really felt taken advantage of by the dealership offer on our trade vehicle. There was a negative Carfax on the vehicle and the trade offer was insultingly low. Wife liked the car - dealer knew it so I caved and took the offer and fumed on the way home. It’s a very nice new car though for my wife.

i felt like i was the ideal customer. didn't quarrel on price, knew exactly which car i wanted, no trade in, and i was ready to go. only problem is, i was remote - buying a car for my mom who lives there. I feel hatchet hasnt adapted to the remote and electronic world. it should have been done in a day but we used snail mail and otherwise took too much time. it felt slow for an easy transaction. maybe i am a rare case. the bitter pill at the end is hatchet refunded the tax to directly to my loan which means now i am out that much ($5k) but now in cash when i register and pay the tax. that botch increased my out of pocket when i had already put $25k down. and, without notice - they just told me it happened. i think that extra down wouldnt have been possibel for some customers but i just rolled with it because i wanted to be done just seemed harder than it needed to be, to me. i have driven off the lot with a new car before, same day. this took a week or more

Bought a 2016 Buick Enclave but so far a flat tire and when the tire was taken off to put donut on to get us home a screw that was on the brake rotor fell off and now we had problems with a dead battery and removal of the key from the ignition. Nothing like just buying a used vehicle and having these issues. After reading about the issues with batteries I would have thought this went through inspections before selling it?

By far the best car transaction we have ever had. We drove up to KS from OK to buy a car at another dealership. They turned out to be shady, so we stopped in at Hatchett to see what they had. Walter is what all car sales people should aspire to be. Very up front and straight to the point sales guy. No games, no let me talk to my manager, none of the usual things that you have to deal with with most car deals. Richard in Finance was also a pleasure to deal with. Same as with Walter, very upfront with our options and didn't pressure us with the usual BS that you encounter in that office. My experience has been great in the past and last Wednesday was no exception, I didn't have an appointment but it was the day of the big snowstorm, I called to see if I could get in and was told to bring it on in since they had a number of cancellations. I drove right in and was met at the truck and drive out in about 40 minutes. The waiting room is pleasant and has a few areas options to work, kids to play or just watch TV.

I am leaving a 4 star review because Carlos the mechanic, who fixed the problem not the one who caused it, and Parker the Service Associate who helped me were great but the problem I had was a mechanic who I wont name might need a little more situational awareness now don't get me wrong he probably knows more about cars than I do but double checking something when you are done with the job doesn't just apply to mechanics food for thought I hope the person who worked on my car first knows I am not mad just upset and hoping he starts double checking his work and being a little more cognizant. Greeted and car immediately taken in for the oil change. They readily agreed to check the tire pressures and make sure I had plenty of windshield washer fluid. The wait time was about what they told me to expect and the car was in great shape, including having been washed. The tire pressures were appropriate and the oil life setting had been changed back to 100%. Could not have asked for more.

I came in for a tire repair and as I was being checked in, I started to fall. My service advisor, Tyree Johnson, quickly held on to me and prevented me from falling. He then assisted me to the waiting area, making sure I did not fall. My tire was fixed quickly and Tyree came and walked me to the car. Excellent is not a high enough rating for the assistance I received. I have been a customer of Hatchett Buick GMC for about two years and have always received excellent service.

Since buying the car I have bought a cargo area sunshade which Mike handled for via text making the process simple and easy. Worked out the details with him and he let me know when it arrived. We also had to patiently wait for the title to come through due to a delay with the credit union we financed through. Mike was on top of that and let me know the moment it became available so I could come by and get it. Mike has called several times just randomly out of the blue to keep in touch and see how things are going and to invite me to stop by and say hello when I am in for service. We took in to have Transmission, Power Steering, Brake, Coolant that all needing to be flushed only, which was recomenned on a previous service. All but Coolant was done do to a found water pump leak. And Highside fitting. At a price of $714.96 for pump, $316.17 for fitting. With just 215 miles driven since last service, and no sign of any leaking or over heating registered on dash gage. I think this amount is a bit high, and we will be getting second opinon. All other service were good. Thank you

I am sorry that I can not give the service dept. a higher rating. When I scheduled the service, I specifically indicated I needed the 15,000 mile service as required by the manufacturer. The vehicle had 14,968 miles. I did not ask for the additional $123.00 items recommended by the Service Advisor, i.e.: Engine oil conditioner Additive (MOA); BG 44K Fuel Conditioner Additive; Crankcase Oil Cleaning Service; Cabin Air Filter Replacement. I refused the 1st. 3 items but did allow the Cabin Air Filter replacement even though it is not required by the manufacturer until 22,500 miles, Another problem is the excessive time it took to perform the service. I was on time for my appointment and refused the Car Wash service and it still took TWO Hours.

I was not happy having to return for a 4th visit, then to find out the noise issue was leaves, how did they get in the ac plastic motor. It is parked in a garage and this dealership was the only one to have that area apart for the airbag repair. And then I was charged a fee for the tech to fix. The service writer was very polite and went above with delaying his lunch and personally washing my car & listening for the noises after job was completed. I did respond to a tech survey and was offered an oil change & deluxe car wash if I would return. I just get really frustrated when it takes more than the 2 visits that I expected to have to get things right again when I had no issues when I had taken my car in the first time for the recall. Thanks It was not organized 12-9-16 at the check in when I came to pick up my car. I had to walk 3 places and it took 5 minutes and then went to cashier and she tried to charge me for the service. It was free due to previous visit issues. But I did get a coupon for the promised car wash, but I will have to go back. It is frustrating to not get all things needed done on the same visit (but this was due to weather). It took several phone calls to get it arranged so I knew how to take in and get a date scheduled. I am not sure how likely I am to return for service to my Pontiac.

Cato was very pleasant and knowledgable to work with. However the technician's diagnosis for my car concerned us. He said we needed pressure hose for power steering and power steering pump which I do question if we actually needed the pump. He also said that our tires are wearing uneven and need aligned. We had bought new tires a month before and had them aligned and when Cato questioned him about the need for alignment, he said he just assumed they needed aligned because they were new. So you can see why we question his diagnosis!! Our acadia has 58,000 miles on it and should not need a power steering pump unless it was deffective when installed!

They went the extra mile! I was and am very pleased! Update: Hatchett Buick found my vehicle in another state, and when I got it, it had extra tinting on the side windows. After driving it for awhile and getting some "night time" driving in, the tinting became a real issue for me. I had the Police Department check it for "legality", and they said the side window tinting was way too dark to be legal in the state of Kansas. I called Hatchett Buick, and they set up an appointment for me immediately to have the tinting removed at no cost to me. Once again, they went above and beyond. If I could, I would change my star rating to a "5".

My wife has a GMC Terrain and when we moved back to the Wichita area from the Baltimore/DC area, we took it there for a regular maintenance check and haven't gone anywhere since! The service manager I deal with is Eric who is great. He always calls ME to give me updates on repairs vs. me having to hound them for status updates. Their shops is pristine and all the staff are professional. I haven't dealt with their Sales Dept. yet but when my wife and I are ready to trade in our Terrain, we'll be coming here!
