After building and purchasing a 2022 BMW X7 M50i, Bert Smith BMW was great! You need to know that the salesman, CAMERON, was exceptionally great and so friendly! Cameron is the one that made it a great experience..his first impression demeanor is what grabbed our attention! He was not pushy and REALLY knows his products, unlike most other salesmen at other dealers that we spoke to!! Gio, the Genius, who goes over all of the functions and capabilities of the car, was great too. Very patient and you didn't feel rushed. So, go buy a BMW from Cameron!!

Mike Ford made the process of buying a new car very easy for me with my busy schedule. I had requested to be contacted via text, which often times I feel people ignore, and still email and call. I am a texter, and at my job it’s the only way I can communicate unless after hours. I was almost ready to pull the trigger and he reached out via text as requested and answered questions/sent pics. By the time I got there to test drive the vehicle after work I already knew which one I was interested in. He was not pushy. They gave me a great deal on my trade in. I get a video from my technician while my car is in the garage on the lift, which is probably my favorite part because instead of just telling me what my car needs, they are showing me. Great experience all around! I wouldn’t take my BMW anywhere else.

Everyone was very nice but this being a high-end store should of done a much better job. Picked up my new car on a Saturday, got home and realized I had no registration. Sent message to my salesperson on Monday sent it to me via text several hours later. Then finally sent it via an email three hours later. I requested to have my windows tinted before hand which never happened. When they received my car, they rushed me in and out as quickly as possible. The detail department did a lousy job. All my windows on the inside had streaks, like they used a dirty rag or towel. Found greasy fingerprints on the dashboard. Unfortunately, I did not spot these issues until the next day. All in all, for a high-end store only three stars. Love the car though.

The mechanics are really good at determining exactly what needs to be repaired. My service advisor, Mirnes, is great at explaining the repair that is needed, itemizing the cost, and answering any questions I have. And if I need a loaner vehicle, Bert Smith BMW provides one to me (at no charge). After the work is completed, my BMW is returned to me washed and vacuumed! Great job guys.

Clean & nice location with friendly employees. Shocked that the service bay pull in is so small. My Buick dealership in Indianapolis I went to, was much more efficient and staffed. Great experience in the collision department! I believe his name was Austin. I had to retrieve some belongings out of my brand new...now totaled 230i. The trunk couldn't be opened because the battery was dead so he physically had to open it by crawling through the back seat with broken glass everywhere and pulling the release lever. Great guy, excellent customer service! I didn't have any cash on me or else I would have tipped him for going literally .... "above and beyond"

Came here late February to look at some Beemers not sure what I wanted and was greeted by Cameron Brown. One of the best sales guys I’ve met; straight to the point no bs. He showed me a few options and we test drove. He took me on some roads to avoid the rush hour so I could feel out the car and he just made the experience so great. I decided against purchasing the vehicle cause it just wasn’t the right one but he will definitely keep you in mind and work until he finds the right vehicle for you. He works hard for that sale without being pushy which is so great and highly appreciated. I love that they send me a video of what is wrong with my car before they called to discuss the price. The only reason why I gave them four stars, was because their price was on the high end. I know the service advisor was trying to help and get me additional discounts. I would go back again and hope next time, they will be a lot more reasonable.

I purchased my new car there. I was very happy and satisfied with my experience there. The sales person who took care of me was Mike Ford who took a great care of me and made sure I had no questions and that I felt comfortable with the car I was purchasing and with the whole process. I feel I was really cared and helped, not just "being sold a car."
My sales completed very late. Mike and the finance person stayed until after their business hours to help me. Right before I drove off, Mike told me to come back the next day, so he could wax my car. How nice of them!!! They could have totally just said, "Congratulations on your new car! Thank you for your business!!" and sent me off! They really care about their customers.
Also apparently, they give people a BMW cap and leather key chains after a purchase, but when I bought it, they ran out and didn’t have them. A few weeks later, they sent them to me and I just received them today! :D

Marc Youngsma, the service manager for BMW's, was extremely helpful and professional. He carefully and expertly explained the computer printout of what services were scheduled according to the car maintenance manual.
At no time did I feel pressured. I had some things done and put off others for another time. He quickly scheduled the shuttle service to take me home and promptly had the shuttle pick me up when the car was finished. i would highly recommend Bert Smith BMW and I will personally ask for Marc to handle any future maintenance or repairs. I started bringing my 10 years old BMW 328 in 2020 and I always had the best experience. In 2021, we decided to buy a new car. After doing some research, we decided it was going to be either the Mercedes C64 AMG or the BMW M340i. We went first to a Mercedes dealership and we didn't like the way they treated us. After that, we went to Bert Smith and the experience was amazing. Since the very first moment, Matt Cerro, our salesperson, made the process so easy for us! After almost two years, we have broght the car twice for service and the experience was always excellent. I also brought it to repair the damage caused by a road hazard I unfortunately hit a couple of months ago. They were extremely helpful. Juan Aviles, my service advisor, gave me a loaner during the process and dealt with my insurance company, calling them several times to make sure the process was as fast as possible and keeping me informed at all times. You can schedule your service appointment on-line and they can even bring you home after you drop your car and pick you up later when it is ready or even loan you a car at no charge. Honestly, I couldn't be more satisfied with Bert Smith BMW and I would totally recommend it if you own a BMW. Five stars service.

Great experience both times and will be coming back to get another car once this shortage is behind the auto industry. Intended on also leasing a new X3 M40i but I am not willing to pay the lease payments on a new car at these rates. Bert Smith is also one of the dealers who will not charge their customer above MSRP and as a repeat customer, I appreciate that.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a previously enjoyed BMW i8 coupe from Bert Smith BMW, 3800 34th ST N, Saint Petersburg FL, 33174. This BMW retail center is 2.3 hours and 120 miles away, not the nearest by far.
No doubt, many BMW shoppers’ author high praises for their selling dealer due to their exuberance for the car purchased. Not so here. I worked at two different BMW retail centers for more than eleven years as a Sales Person, a Business Manager, a Client Advisor with F&I authority and finally a Director of Information Technology. The Bert Smith team I encountered performed in an exemplary manner in my experience. I could leave my review at that; but the following underscores that they went above and beyond.
After visiting two other nearer BMW dealers, I located a preowned BMW i8 that had the options I wanted on Bert Smith 's web site. Using its CHAT feature, Melinda Rubino personally called me to set up a visit after the weekend; and, also arraigned with her manager to send a CARFAX report to me for my due diligence. To her credit, she pulled the recently arrived i8 from its preparation, had it washed and waiting for my arrival Monday noon. About two hours later, Melinda took my offer to Greg Sarantis, Pre-Owned Manager.
Greg found me in the showroom to advise that he had also just learned of a possible issue with the recently arrived i8 that I had found too. We agreed to wait till Wednesday while he would resolve that issue. I was cool with that; since, my credit union had misplaced my financing pre-authorization submitted Saturday.
Melinda called me the next day. Greg had correctly decided to withdraw from sale the i8 Melinda had shown me. "WOW" she said, we have another that just arrived, and Greg is sending its CARFAX to me. Her cell photos, my due diligence and a very realistic asking price from Greg led me to accept the offer without countering with a lower offer. I forwarded my credit union pre-authorization for financing Tuesday. I agreed to pick up the i8 Saturday so it could be inspected, serviced and qualified for its CPO status. They also needed time to order in a set of tires for a 2015 BMW i8 with a mere 8,343 miles on it. Impressive.
Melinda showed me the substitute i8 on Saturday then introduced me to Dino Actipis, Business Manager. Dino and Melinda convinced me to apply for financing from BMW Financial Services (BMWFS). They had never done business with my credit union at the other end of the State of Florida and preferred to wait for their payment. Not wanting to delay delivery another four days, I reluctantly agreed to apply to BMWFS. Reluctant since 15 months-earlier another BMW dealer was not able to obtain BMWFS leasing for me. I waited only a few minutes before hearing Melinda's rushed footsteps approaching. My brain assessed that she was excited about an approval. It was! Dino expeditiously completed the paperwork to complete my purchase while Melinda affixed my tag to the i8.
The last step was an introduction to the i8's very complex controls by Jazer Segura, BMW Genius. He showed me that the prior owners' digital profiles had been erased. I began to comprehend the power of BMW's iDrive controller and various displays that change when different driving modes are selected. Thanks to Jazer, I felt knowledgeable enough to drive the i8 for 120 miles and 2.3 hours to get home. In that drive, I discovered a i8 feature not explained. The i8 has such low drag at speed that even the Florida "Love Bugs" can't hit this car at speed.
Melinda graciously handled every sales person's nightmare: close a sale then lose the item sold and start all over again. Worse yet, the buyer was informed and analytical. Greg was honest, helpful, reasonable with his pricing. Dino obtained BMWFS financing that another BMW Business Manager had failed at. Jazer cut thru the car's complexity to help me appreciate the sheer logic in its design.
Melinda, Greg, Dino and Jazer worked together as a seamless team to ensure I am exceptionally pleased with Bert Smith BMW and the hybrid BMW i8 that is pure fun.

I was hesitant to try to negotiate and buy a car from that far away but the more I talked to Keith the more comfortable I was. I was looking for a brand new model ... only demo models at the dealers ... and while the other dealers wanted me to order one (8-12 weeks), Mike Ford found my exact spec car already on its way to port. It landed on time and was at the dealership within 5 days, overall less than 3 weeks. Mike went out if his way to get me the car I wanted. Overall, Jayson (Service Manager) and Mark Y. (Service Tech) did a great job. I took my car in for a "rattle" between the steering wheel and drivers side door. Someone named Bobby was trying to charge me $238 for a diagnosis of a missing part that may have caused a rattle in the passenger door. I let Bobby know I am not paying that because it isn't what I brought the car in for so he misdiagnosed my issue. This is even after seeing the tech write up stating my issue was on the driver side of the door and the diagnosis was coming from the passenger side. I began to question the customer service aspect of Bert Smith BMW. I requested to drive the car with a mechanic to illustrate the issue. Jayson rode with me, we identified where the issue was coming from and he took care of the rattle (lane departure mechanism in the steering column had come loose). I will return here but be very meticulous explaining what/where my issue is happening.

This was an out of state purchase (500 miles away) on a classic older BMW. Bert Smith BMW, handled it magnificently. My sales Rep was attentive over the phone, even on his day off and followed up on every question or action. It is always tricky buying an older classic, but the folks here were straight with information, answers and actions. When I arrived to pick up the car, they knew I had 500 miles of driving to get home and were ready for me. All the paper work had been done in advance, they were attentive teaching me about the car and got me on the road. The day before I was to pick it up, they called to tell me they had discovered an issue in the final inspection and they would repair if I could delay my pick up. I did and they fixed it.
All in all, it was a trustworthy, pleasant, thorough and attentive experience.
I am thrilled with the new classic toy and it is all I had hoped for.

I almost exclusively take my car for service to BMW. I have had experience with several other BMW centers (2 in North Carolina) and Bert Smith is always the best. Drew helped me this time and was great to work with. Right now, people need to have a little patience because they are busy and (I think maybe) understaffed but they were pretty up front that it was going to be a several hours so I was prepared. The cost was as quoted so no extra surprises and no pressure to do services that I didn’t want to do at that time.

This VERY disheartening. I purchased a 2018 BMW X6 from this dealership almost a month ago. I LOVE the vehicle. Took it for a test drive and fell in love with it even more. When I and decided to clean the vehicle I realized just how filthy it I expressed the service light had come on on the vehicle AND the brakes were squeaking. Roger advised me he would speak again with the manager and someone would follow up. Now here we are almost a month later. No one had contacted me. I sent a text to Roger and his response was the vehicle is certified and could not be if the brakes were bad. I as a consumer have no IDEA what that means. Keep in mind he did not address the 10.1.2021 service they vehicle needs. Here I am with a $60K vehicle (I could have purchased a NEW vehicle) that has squeaking brakes and needs service less than 3 months after purchasing.

I recently purchased a 2021 X5 from Braman BMW down in West Palm Beach. I have been in St. Pete for a couple of months completing my hospital rotations, and noticed my tire pressure going down so I went ahead and took it into this dealership. They noticed that my run flat had a patch on the back tire causing it to lose pressure. I contacted the dealership I purchased the car from, and they said they didn't sell me a defective tire and were not helpful or willing to fix the problem they missed when selling me the car. I ended up going back to Bert Smith because I had no choice but to get the tire replaced, and was able to work with Natalie. I cannot say enough good things about her or about this dealership. I had nothing but bad experiences when purchasing my car, and I wish I could do it again because I would happily purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Natalie took care of finding my tire and making sure I could get it replaced that week, and also reached out and figured out how she could get the tire covered, as it should have never been patched and I shouldn't be responsible for someone else's oversight. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Without the help of the amazing people who work here like Natalie, I would have had to cover this tire myself. It's refreshing being able to come somewhere where the customers come first, and the people are honest and helpful. Will be back!

At Bert Smith BMW, my experience was all positive. From the concierge-like management of my experience with Cameron, my salesman, to the very creative accounting and number manipulation by Tony, one of the sales managers. I was ready to walk from the deal because the warranty on the pre-owned X3 was going to be too short and the cost of an extended warranty was prohibitive, even with a $250 deductible. Tony was able to work the numbers and find a warranty with a $100 deductible - the result being a very favorable number that I could live with. Cameron was extremely patient trying to teach his underachieving pupil how to use the new bells and whistles and never seemed frustrated by my ineptitude while I was drowning in it!
The negatives that always accompany the purchasing a car were kept to a minimum. My idiosyncracies were treated with kind respect and the whole process was about as positive as one could hope for.

I cannot speak highly enough of everyone at Bert Smith BMW. I recently had a situation that resulted in my initial BMW, a 2010 528i, being totaled. Prior to that, I had the car serviced at Bert Smith, and everyone was uniformly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My prior experiences with them were enough that when the 528i was totaled, I immediately car shopped with them, and ultimately purchase a new 330i from Bert Smith. The differences in technology from 2010 to 2022 models is impressive.
I have to enthusiastically endorse, and thank Matthew J. Cerro. He exhibited supreme patience, friendliness, and extensive knowledge in the hours I spent with him in purchasing the new 330i. The car fits my needs and desires perfectly. I then met with the “Genius” Connor W. Coleman, who took an hour to explain the nuances of the car. To be perfectly honest, I went from a 2004 to a 2010 to a2022 model car in the span of three years, and the differences are not to be believed. Nevertheless, Connor was a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and friendly “genius” who helped remove some of the mystery from the car. I’m sure I only use a fraction of what features are available. Nevertheless, I am pleased with my purchase.

I had a very satisfactory experience at Bert Smith BMW today. I went in at 9:45 am to have the oil changed and some scheduled service done on my 2011 528i and left at 3:45 pm behind the wheel of a beautiful 2018 530i. In between I received nothing but friendly, efficient service and lots of welcome help with my decision to upgrade. Beginning with the polite young man who greeted me with a bottle of water and a granola bar as soon as I walked inside the Service Area, to Evan, my very helpful contact person who met me with a warm smile, to Dan, the ever patient salesman who worked diligently with me to come up with a deal we could both live with; one which provided me an excellent 4 year warranty and service coverage package on an automobile far too beautiful and exotically smart to be of this earth, to Dino, the extremely knowledgeable finance officer who helped qualify me for, and then receive instant approval of, a 72 mo, 1.9%, simple interest, BMW factory loan; one which will save me several thousands of dollars in interest charges over the next six years. Each and everyone person was polite and eager to help me along on my buying journey. There were several other employees who assisted me today as well; many coming up with useful ideas to speed the process and others repeatedly and doggedly crunching numbers for us without complaint. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to catch all of their names but they were, to a person, professional at their jobs. The personnel I dealt with today, people like Jeff, the gentleman who provided me with a loaner at the last minute and without any advance notice (a loaner I never actually needed as it turned out), was friendly and quick to help and he, like everyone else I interacted with today, did his job smoothly and quickly. I'm extremely pleased with the way I was treated by the always friendly employees at this dealership and I'm certainly happy with the outcome of our negotiations; I believe they were as well. It's hard to ask for more than that in any business transaction. My experience today with so many able professionals easily allows me to recommend Bert Smith BMW to anyone who's serious about finding a great car and striking a fair deal. While I have had a couple issues with this service department, they have also done a couple things to restore my faith in them. I do have issues with their policy of not providing service loaners while warranty work is being performed unless you have been there more than 3 times, but my service rep Doug has been helpful and even had my vehicle delivered to me when there were not any shuttle drivers available to pick me up once my service was complete. If their scheduling lady returned calls to set up appointments and they provided loaners for warranty work, like every other German dealership, this would easily be a 4 star if not 5.

I was traveling to St. Pete from Atlanta and noticed my 430i was leaking copious amounts of coolant on a Friday, the day I planned to return home.
I found Bert Smith through Google called and Phil Cole quickly helped me out with no appointment. I brought my car in at 8:30 am and left Bert Smith at 11:00 am. Unexpectedly, just prior to a 600 mile holiday trip, my BMW began misfiring. Despite a very full pre-Christmas schedule backlog, Phil in the Service Department managed to work my car in for a quick diagnosis and repair. The service was excellent and charges were within expectations, and in fact the mechanic who was excellent, went above and beyond expectations. The diagnosis was fair and honest when it could have been the opposite. Having confidence that the word of a service department can be relied upon as being accurate and only what is needed, is so very important. I was visiting out of state and my X7 emergency call system was malfunctioning which then threw off the navigation. I called up the dealership and they appeared to know about the common problem with some battery. I thought I needed a new one, but to my surprise, my service manager (Nate) had it tested and informed me that it was still ok. Since the battery was going on 8 years old, I still opted to have it replaced, but the fact that Bert Smith had been super honest, impressed me. And, Nate even made arrangements for a loaner car. The swap out was done by the next morning, when I needed my car, and I was told how many months before I required routine service.

First, let me start by saying that before making my purchase in Feb 2019, I was considering a vehicle from a Tampa based Mercedes dealer. In that dealer I faced a very high pressure system that literally offered me the worst possible deal on a very high end vehicle. I asked them for some concessions and they told me there was nothing they could do. I have been servicing my vehicles with Bert Smith (prior BMW and Porsche) for last 5 years. I called in and was greeted by Roger upon my arrival. Over the course of the next 2 weeks he let me test drive multiple vehicles and didn't make me feel like I needed to decide anything immediately. After deciding on a vehicle I requested a certain color and certain specs that were not available. He advised that he would either find that vehicle or order me the exact car from Germany. Within 3 days my car arrived exactly how I wanted and not only did he give me a deal that was beyond my expectations. He has a client for life. I had a hold in my tire, after hours, which required a tow. BMW Roadside service arranged and paid for a tow to the nearest dealership and a Lyft ride to my home! I might have known of this service when I bought the car but it was invaluable when you are stranded! Came in with a 2008 BMW 328i for a recall (blower motor wiring burned up and caused it to stop working). Service was done within the day and FREE (recall!), but took longer than they estimated it would over the phone (which is understandable because they had to rewire the harness in there as well).
The staff were very friendly, and I even had a conversation with them about different parts for a while. They were all wearing masks and practicing social distancing, which is a big plus in my book. Staff were very knowledgeable, even the desk personnel.
The complimentary inspection is nice. As a car person myself, I wouldn't be using the dealership to fix the issues they listed, but it was a great way to learn for free everything that should be done for the car.

We ordered and purchased a 2021 BMW X7 We worked with.Roger Pedersen. He is a congenial, knowledgeable salesperson and assisted in the final build of our X7. I would question the values they apply to trade-ins. They were, by far, the lowest and claimed it is their "White-Book" value placed on our 2015 X5. There was NO flexibility on this. We the X7 arrived, Roger contacted us and scheduled delivery/pickup. When Roger showed us our new X7, I was surprised at the lack of prep work done on the vehicle. There was dirt on the rear seats and a smudge on the headliner from a greasy finger. The windshield was not cleaned thoroughly. I asked Roger if he looked at the car before I got there and he said no. To his credit, he took the car back into detailing to remove the greasy smudge. I brushed off the dirt on the seats. It was indicated to me that the new guy did the prep work upon delivery from BMW.
The next day, I noticed a series of micro chips on the windshield. I informed Roger of this and he assured me that BMW delivery made no record of this and that his dealer prep person had not noticed this. That is probably because the windshield was not thoroughly cleaned. I went ahead and did a thorough cleaning of the windshield. A number of the perceived micro-chips did wash away. However, there are still a few chips evident. In my opinion from the delivery to the dealership. Roger did state afterwards that they have a windshield guy who comes in once a week if I'd like to schedule time with him. Val from Finance was very nice and helpful. Odd, I never did meet the Sales Manager.

Because of that outstanding service I received at Bert Smith when I purchased a BMW SUV, I took my wife's BMW car in for regular service (Oil Change) and a security alarm sensor problem. My overall experience with Bert Smith BMW was excellent. My salesman Roger Pedersen was great. When he greeted me on the lot, I told him I was not going to buy a car immediately. That didn't phase Roger at all. He still worked with me answering my questions and letting me drive a few cars to find the model that was best for me. He took the time to write up an estimate on two different cars to let me decide what deal worked for me. As it turned out the deal he wrote up and the offer he gave me on a trade-in was too good to pass up. To be honest, I hate buying cars from dealerships. That said, after all the paperwork was signed, and I took delivery of my new/used car, I was very, pleasantly surprised.
After the test drive, I realized I loved the vehicle. I also realized I needed to separate my emotions from the business of buying the vehicle.
I did research. I used a lifeline and called a trusted friend. I asked many questions.
All my questions were answered.
I honestly feel that my salesperson, Roger, was straight with me. I also dealt with Steve, and I feel he was straight with me. I made them an offer, and they not only met it, they went beyond what I asked.
I’m a retired lawman. I was trained by local, state, and federal agencies to interrogate, interview, and detect when people are yanking my chain. The staff at this dealership, they were definitely trying hard to sell me this vehicle. That’s their job. But, they were up front with me. Last but not least, the finance person, Val, was outstanding. She helped me understand my financing and warranty options. She took the time to answer ALL my questions. She got me what I know is a great deal on the warranties I wanted. She did not push anything. She presented the products, and I made the choices.

I have had some good experiences with car dealers in the past, but my recent purchase is among the very best. Salesman Mike Ford is AWESOME. I was treated very poorly at a BMW dealership in Palm Harbor, therefore I had a more careful approach with Bert Smith. I contacted JT over the phone and told him what I was looking for. He was excellent and patience with my several questions about their product. He even ran some other scenarios to see what would benefit me more financially. I had my heart set in one particular vehicle and they happened to have one, older than I expected, but still nice.
The service department went above and beyond answering my questions about the vehicle to include all services done since it was brand new. The service advisor actually walked to where they keep the hard file to show me the records. The vehicle was serviced in another dealer before they got it on a trade.
Not only I’m happy with my purchase, I’ll definitely use their service department and hopefully acquire future cars from them as well.
As a business owner, I learned that Google reviews are very important when someone is looking for a service or to buy something.
I do get bad reviews from my car wash, but I try to address and remediate every single one of them.
Making a mistake is part of being in business, but most important is how they handle their issues.

I walked into the dealer knowing I was going to lease a new car but not knowing what I really wanted. I was still shopping around to just about every car brand from Toyota to Mercedes. I was looking for a better deal by getting one of the few 2017s they had left on the lot but I didn't really LOVE any of them. Jenny went out of her way to search the Southeast USA to find me the specific car I wanted to be shipped here. We found 1 that matched all criteria but it ended up being sold before we could get it. Having owned Porsches, Mercedes-Benzes, Audis and VW's (I'm a German car enthusiast) in the past, I recently purchased a gently-owned 2018 BMW. Wanting to continue the relationship the previous owner had with Bert Smith BMW, I scheduled an appointment to have the oil/filter changed and to have the car inspected to make sure that all is well.
The appointment was easy to make, the time I requested was available and the attendant was waiting when I arrived. I was assigned a personal service advisor (Natalie) who couldn't have been nicer, more efficient or more informative.
After the promised hour and a half, they washed my car, Natalie gave me a printout of everything they checked and when an item might need to be replaced in the future and walked me to my car. It was a very professional and personal visit.
BMWs are not inexpensive to maintain, but, Bert Smith BMW's level of professionalism and competitive prices are worth owning such a car.

This is my first experience with this particular location. My rating is based on interactions with several other BMW dealerships in the USA - which have been 5 stars +. I recently moved to St Pete and I had a real issue and Bert Smith was the closest location. I arrived on time and was promised a loaner ahead of time. Once I arrived there was no loaner. The service person said he called and left a message letting me know there was no loaner available; somehow they had an an incorrect number on file. I ended up staying since I was there already and got a Nissan Sentra as a loaner from Enterprise. I was told I could get a BMW loaner if one showed back up. My repair was to take anywhere from 1 day to 1 week. On day two I got a call saying the car would be done the following day; I heard nothing so I called and was told it would definitely be done the next day - they were waiting on a spry to compete the job. Next day no call so I called and left two voice mails, no call back; one was direct call and the other was put through by the receptionist. The next day I waited until late in the day and no call back as yet so I called again. I eventually had to have the receptionist page the gentleman twice. He said he never got my messages and really did not apologize for anything. He said he was still waiting on parts and had no loners in as yet. My issue was the lack of follow up. I eventually got my car. Upon driving I noticed a weird alert and called the service area again and left a voice message. As I am writing this review I still have no follow up call. I will call - again or just drive over since I am not sure if it's important or not. Note: this takes time out of my work.

The hubby and I had an excellent car buying experience at Bert Smith. Corey Biller was our Sales Client Advisor - he was very informative, unpretentious and low pressure. The day of our visit, we could not come to terms with the sales price and we were luke warm on the selection (external and internal color, and car options for the model we liked). After we left, Corey remained in contact with us via phone and email. We later informed him of our color and options preference; he located the car that matched our desire and it had a few extras as well. Over the phone we negotiated our price and Corey handled it from there. It was one of the smoothest car buying experiences I've had. He was very professional, attentive, courteous and informative. John answered our questions and was willing to go the extra step to show us any BMW SUV we had an interest. He did not try to steer us but let the car, our desire with his added information make the sale. We are extremely happy and satisfied with the X3 SUV we purchased and equally satisfied with our experience with John Grima being the salesperson. I purchased my car from Fields BMW in Winter Park because I was able to get a great deal on a used 328i loaded with 17,000 miles on it. It was a certified BMW with the maintenance warranty. 5 weeks after purchasing my car I noticed these very small cracks on both headlights coming from the inside of the headlight. Since I live in St Pete and work in Tampa, I went to Reeves who gave me the run around, lied and flat out tried to make me pay for something that is covered under warranty. Even after the service manager from Fields called Reeves to say they will pay for it, they still wouldn't just replace the headlights. When I contacted Joe from Fields, he said go to Bert Smith. Bert Smith made one call to BMW and called me back saying it is covered under warranty and they ordered the new headlights. They gave me another BMW as a loner car and treated me like I purchased a 7 series instead of a 2 year old 328i i purchased from another dealer. Mirnes, my service adviser treated me great and the ladies upfront were polite, welcoming and pleasant. My sister is purchasing a car next month and she will be buying her car at Bert Smith and when I trade my car in, I'll be coming to Bert Smith. I just hope I can keep Mirnes as my service adviser who was amazing. Thank you guys for all your help and I will see you soon... By the way Mirnes said since he had my car he changed the oil and topped off all the fluids... Why would I go anywhere else when I got treated so great at Bert Smith BMW. Thanks guys...

Went in last Friday to look at the used cars and found a beautiful BMW 328i in mint condition. Our salesman John Grima was really patient, as I wasn't sure if I was ready to choose that particular car. He let us drive it a second time and never pressured us at all. He even recommended we check out the financing through them. We were already pre-approved by our Credit Union with a really low rate, but the finance manager Larry found us a loan with a finance rate that is a half a point less. That made us really happy! The customer service is top notch and everyone was really friendly. I most definitely recommend Bert Smith and John Grima and am happy to be a customer!

I told him I was looking for a 740i and although there was nothing that met my requirements on the lot, he said he would look for me. In about a week he turned up with exactly what I was looking for, but Brian never pushed the sale on me and let me decide if the vehicle was right for me.

I spent many months trying to find just the right BMW. When I found it at Bert Smith and made an inquiry the response was not only fast but reasonable. Alan, my salesman made many special provisions to accommodate my purchase. He allowed me to all but complete the entire process online. The only thing my wife and I had to do at the dealership was sign the final paperwork (which did not magically change when I got there) and drive away! I live and work on the other side of the state so he and his team stayed late so we did not need to waste the weekend or miss a day of work.
