I must admit…. Lake City Toyota really seems to care about their customers, even after the deal is closed. I had a unsatisfactory feeling after the deal. The GM got wind of this and contacted me personally to resolve the issue, and I felt he really cared about a certain aspect of my car purchasing experience that I felt uneasy about. The GM and the dealership helped me feel better about my experience and their caring about their customers went farther than I have seen in my years of purchasing cars, which I have purchased dozens of cars. I would recommend to my friends to visit Lake City Toyota to see what they can do for the automobile needs because the truly want you to be a happy customer.

I would be remiss if I didn’t share that I was ready to throw in the towel after my first interaction with a dealer at Toyota of Lake City Way. However, I received a follow up call from another dealer, who listened to my concerns from my earlier interaction, and then connected me with the GM, Chris. I assumed they were just busting out the big guns to assuage me, but after speaking to them I felt both Max and Chris were genuine in their apology and willingness to work with me on a better deal. We had a long day at the dealership and Shay, from financing, hooked us up with tacos from a nearby restaurant (even though we initially told him no because we were trying to be polite lol). Shay’s kindness didn’t stop there - he worked with us to find the right financing and gave us a couple more goodies when I stopped in the next day to sign some additional documents. Not only did they work with us to get a price we were comfortable with, their genuineness and personal connection with customers makes us feel like we’re a part of the family now! Ask for Max, Alex or Shay when you stop in.

I don’t even know where to start. I am beyond happy. 😁 I want to thank Tom, Shae and of course Max for making me feel like I belong. These guys are excellent. They helped me and my wife get 2 brand new cars. A 2022 Toyota Camry and a Toyota Tundra. The process was very smooth and genuine. The filled me in with every detail any purchaser should know. Had a great experience with Mike in the service department. He was great at organizing seamless appointments for my 2022 Tacoma. He even arranged a rental for me so I didn’t have to wait in the lobby / without a car for a day. Definitely grateful to have had a personable, helpful experience! Auto mechanic visits can be stressful, but Mike & his team made things really easy for me, and even offered some tips and advice for getting the most out of my truck. This dealership will give you top dollar for your trade. It's also a beautiful facility with a nice lounge and accommodations for customers. This review is based just on the selling perspective, but the manager Tom and Chris were great to work with. They made the selling transaction very smooth and were very transparent. Absolutely professional. Almost passed up on this dealership because Undui wasn't a great salesman imo. Complete opposite of Tom and Chris. So if you're not having a satisfactory interaction with him, ask to speak with Tom!

Not only did they work with us on purchasing the vehicle but they delivered it to us over 60 miles away! Every person we dealt with was great. This was my first, and probably last visit to Toyota of Lake City. It is the closest dealer to where I live, but I was not happy with the entire encounter. The woman who helped me was polite, but it was surface only. I'm a senior, and my guess is that she is not that comfortable with seniors. She didn't really do anything wrong, but my instincts told felt that she was a bit hostile. More realistically, I find it a bit difficult to stomach an oil of change of almost $150.00, and an inside cabin change of almost an additional $80 or so dollars. With only those two items my billing came in at around $130.00 which seems a bit high to me. There were prompt in their timing however, and I actually left a little before the time that she had allotted. I was hoping to find a dealer that I could trust closer to where I live, but I will probably in the future return to my regular Toyota dealer, although it is a good deal further away. At least I generally feel comfortable there.

6 stars if I could. I am difficult at the best of times, and car buying brings out the absolute worst in me. Everyone I worked with at Toyota of Lake City was absolutely phenomenal, but I wanted to give a shoutout to Nickeem and the general manager Chris. Both were exceptional and very kind. They gave me a fantastic offer on my trade in and were true to their word throughout the entire process all while treating me with the upmost respect. I will also add that I came back today (2 days after purchasing my new vehicle) and I had a crack in my windshield. Chris referred me to a friend of his to repair the damage and upon arrival, the service had been paid for. Again…. 6 stars if I could. Fantastic dealership, with phenomenal employees. I cannot recommend Toyota of Lake City enough. Also - Be sure to say hi to “Queenie” at the front desk…. She’s the best!

Toyota of Lake City gave me the best deal I could find in the greater Seattle area on a new 2022 RAV4 Hybrid SE. Chase Gardner was a pleasure to deal with as the Internet Manager and Assistant Sales Manager, and the entire deal was done via email and phone, including my trade-in value--I highly recommend you ask for him if you're interested in purchasing a new car. Chase kept us updated on an almost daily basis on the status of our incoming vehicle and had all everything ready to go when we showed up at the dealership. CJ, the sales manager, was also very friendly and helpful in sealing the deal. Michelle, the title clerk, was also very helpful and patient in answering and resolving some of my questions about registering the RAV4. Additionally, there was no hard sell on extras or extended warranties, which I appreciated.

I personally worked with a sales rep, named Chingun, who was just a kind, reliable and very communicative salesperson throughout the whole process. He wasn't pushy, in fact the opposite and he was humble enough to admit when he didn't know something or a question and needed help with it. Bought tons of Toyota cars over the years but not buying it here…. They are worse in customer service. They make you feel that you are dumb and they are super smart. Go to Bellevue or Foothills they are much better. Got a reply from them that they need me to call the GM to make sure my review is legit. First need to fix customer service from your end. If someone was that concerned they could have looked that I did an online inquiry for 2023 Sequoia. Want to go back on this….. Got a call from CJ Singh and wow that made a difference. Looks like they do care for negative reviews and want to correct em. Probably will be going there to meet him in person!!!

*EDIT* After speaking with the GM, I no longer feel like my time has been wasted. I've updated my rating to 4 stars. I wouldn't normally write a review for something like this, but this dealership seems to be so focused on maximizing profit that they didn't think it would be a problem to waste the small amount of free time I had in the middle of my 18 hour day. I sent a message through their website inquiring about a car and asked if they could give me a ballpark estimate for what sort of price they were looking for. I understand that the market is strained right now and that certain cars are going to come at different prices above/below MSRP sometimes, but I wanted to know if what they had could work with my budget. I was thinking I could just get an answer to my seemingly straightforward question in the chat, or maybe over a phone call if need be. They declined to give me a ballpark estimate but said that they could go over pricing in person. Given that I had a couple hours free in the middle of my (very long) day, I agreed to come in during my break. After a very long chat with the sales rep, it was finally revealed that the car I had asked about was being quoted to me at a whopping 50% higher price than the MSRP. They were asking for about $20,000 (before additional tax) in completely useless dealer add-on packages above the car's listed price. To be clear, I'm not here complaining about this. Do I think it's price gouging and do I think it's bad business? Yes- but I understand that some players in the game will try to maximize every penny from every customer. The reason I'm writing this review is because they wasted my time. I had one small break in an extremely long day, and instead of simply telling me that they were going to ask for an insanely inflated price in the first place in the chat or over the phone, they decided to let me spend precious time, money and energy coming in person first. The two stars are for Joey, who genuinely seems like a really cool person that I would get along with outside of work.

Edit: The General manager reach out to me to rectify the issue. We came to an agreement. I was not expecting to hear back from them after I left the review below. But they went the extra mile to help me out. I would recommend Toyota of Lake City. If I could give zero stars to this place I would. Spoke on the phone to a service advisor named Dave Wells for a transmission service on a 2014 Toyota Corolla with a CVT transmission. Once I arrived I was told by the service manager that there's no such thing as a transmission service for a CVT unit. Toyota of Kirkland was more than happy to schedule me in for the same exact service. I truly do not understand how can a service advisor not understand that these transmissions can and should be serviced I was baffled with the situation. The unprofessionalism surpassed the lowest levels I have ever experienced. I wish I could get paid for the time I wasted waiting at the service Bay to get an uneducated response. Management, you need to properly train your staff!

Faez immediately went to work on trying to find the perfect car for us! Still haven't received my second key fob when I received the vehicle. 5 years later, I am debating going back to LCT or Edmonds. They seem to do the minimum. My dad was helping me with the purchase, but wasn't able to be there in person, Jackson spoke to him on the phone for countless hours, and was able to make a deal before I ever walked in the door. He was patient, making sure we got the best deal we could. One of the sales managers Karim worked with my dad over phone to trade in my current car. They were very patient and understanding. Kenji on the sales team was fantastic and we couldn't be happier with our new Rav4. If I were to do this process again I'd want to work with Kenji from the start. I came to Lake City after having a horrible experience at another dealership in WA where they were all smiles and friendly until they took my down payment and then changed the delivery estimate from 2 weeks to 2-3 months. I had to escalate to their finance director at the other dealership to get my deposit back and begin the search again. Kenji was a complete 180 from that experience, since the car was coming from the factory he gave me the exact delivery window and was very upfront that it may be a couple days delayed worst case scenario. He texted me to give me updates right up until the day we picked the vehicle up (within the exact window he originally told us). Kenji is a really respectful guy and made the process so much more pleasant. Signing with finance was quick and relatively painless - push for warranties as they do at any dealership in the country so I can't fault them for that whatsoever. The individual who helped us wasn't guilting us or unreasonably pressuring us but rather explaining benefits and cost breakdown and the process was quick and we were out the door. If you're looking at Toyota's in WA I'd definitely recommend Lake City given my experience working with 5+ dealerships and finally landing on one which didn't pull any bait and switches and communicated professionally throughout the process. I came to Lake City because of the ample positive reviews with their sales team so figured I owe a full update to those who are in a similar position.

I just picked up my brand new 4Runner and I could not be happier with the service and product. George Chaker and his General Manager, Chris Pappas, are professional and transparent about every step of the sales process, communicating pros/cons, and balancing getting the customer a great deal, while communicating what the dealer needs to make it work for them. Above all, I feel that Chris values the long-term relationship with me, maintaining trust and integrity, above making a few more dollars. It feels good, it feels genuine, and it's what will keep me, and someday my kids, coming back to Toyota of Lake City. Speaking of kids, my 14 year old daughter came with me, learned a lot, and had a great time although the sales process takes several hours. She's a good judge of character: She really enjoyed our time with Shay Wilson, our finance manager, who explained the paperwork, financing, and the pros/cons of options in a clear and friendly way. I never felt pushed, just informed to make my own best decision. I got a great deal, but more importantly I felt like I was taken care of by good people who I want to keep doing business with for a long time. I have had nothing but good experiences on the service side. Wrt COVID, they take things seriously: Everyone wears masks, the tables were cleaned frequently while we were there, and they maintain excellent social distancing between employees, and with other customers. If you're going to buy a Toyota, go to Toyota of Lake City!

Just bought my third car with Toyota of Lake city and I always have the greatest experience with them. This time my sales person was Max and I would say this, he is very knowledgeable and almost know the inventory of the dealership by head. I mean he literally know every single car on that lot. My finance guy was Barry and he is very intelligent and friendly. He was very patient with us during the finance process and took time to explain all the financing details. Toyota of lake city is the best place to go as a minority because they don’t look down upon you. They treat you with respect like they would with anyone else. Unlike the other Toyota dealership like Magic in Edmonds, where they won’t even talk to me and the salesperson was so unprofessional and rude and the first question he said was what’s your credit score. I kind of think this was rude and is the second time I have been treated like such at Toyota in Edmonds

My experience at this dealership is the best that I have had buying a car. They really took care of me. The process was transparent and they were very straightforward. The manager Chris was a really nice guy and seemed genuinely interested in finding a car that works for me. He didn't try to upsell me at all. The finance guy, Shay was straightforward and honest. Highly recommended!!!!!! Had the best experience from Shivam and Shay. Both are very professional and super friendly. They treat you like family. Before visiting here I went over to Swickard Toyota and over there I got the standard treatment you would expect from a car dealership; I was told not to go to other dealerships and to only trust them AND I AM SO GLAD I DIDNT!! Toyota of Lake City knows how to treat their customers with kindness and respect, and I think everyone deserves the opportunity to work with representatives of this caliber. Came in late in the day and a specific idea what I wanted. They got me into a test drive quickly. They were busy but they checked on me periodically and moved things along at a reasonable pace. The sales rep encouraged me to leave my old car (which they declined for trade-in) parked against a chain link fence surrounding a car lot owned by the dealership. I saw no signs posted that my old car might be towed. When I returned to get my vehicle it had been towed by the city and it was very expensive to retrieve. After some discussions, Alex Lake was able to help me to sell my vehicle to another buyer and to compensate me for the inconvenience.

This dealership left a bad taste in my mouth. At first I felt like some of my comments were used to give me worse financing rate. The salesman asked some questions to seemingly gauge my financial situation. Yes, this is my first time buying a new car. Yes, I arrived by bus because my current car had broken down. After getting closer to a deal, I still didn’t like how much more they wanted to charge above MSRP. After asking for time to think about it for a day he threatened to raise the price up and refused to let me hold onto print outs of vehicles I was interested in. I regret not walking out after that… every other Toyota dealership has been emailing me pdfs just like the ones he took away from me. Why would he do that? It broke my trust with him and left me in the dark about the details of the cars I was interested in moving forward with. The manager eventually came out to explain the MSRP mark-up at least. While I appreciated his explanation, it was hard to get over the number of weird pressures and judgements that had been thrown my way by the salesman. I have taken my business elsewhere and do not recommend this dealership.

I test drove at another Toyota dealer, but as a woman shopping for a truck without my husband I felt condescended to and pushed into a deal I didn’t want by that other salesman. I emailed and called a few other dealers, but everyone I talked to at Lake City was straightforward and quick to respond to inquiries. Ardit made the process easy and so pleasant, I got exactly the truck I wanted with reasonable negotiating, and picking up my new truck was a breeze (thanks to Bari in the finance office, too—he had so many extras to offer at signing but didn’t push me on any of them). If you shop here I definitely recommend Ardit, he was great!

When a supervisor posted on this channel to address the situation, his response talked about material having nothing to do with the original complaint; instead, it talked about how much you want customers to feel safe. While this, in itself, is praiseworthy, it neatly sidesteps the problems brought to you for some sort of solution. It is intuitively obvious to the casual observer that the goal of your response was to say something soothing, while actually you were saying nothing at all. It is not surprising that the intent of both of the would-have-been customers, clearly stated, is to never breathe the air floating in Toyota of Lake City. A bonus would be to never even think of shopping with your sales force. For myself, I was shopping that very day, headed for that very destination. I will keep heading. Someplace else.

I read some of the negative reviews below but I had a wonderful straightforward experience in buying a Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum 2018. I used the Costco service and Nick was the Toyota salesman. Nick was very courteous, friendly, helpful, explained the whole thing and then I suggested the price I can pay, he went and talked to his boss, it was approved and basically that was it. No hassle, no nonsense. The car was supposed to come in about three weeks from the factory. When the car arrived, Nick emailed and also called me. By the way, I had a rental car from Enterprise in Kirkland so I thought that I will have to go to Kirkland first to return the car, then arrange for transportation to Lake City Toyota. But Nick assured me that I can bring to car to Lake City and return it to an Enterprise place close to them. So, when I arrived To Lake City Toyota, Nick followed me in a separate car to the Enterprise center, and after I returned the car he drove me back to the dealership. It saved me quite some time and hassle. So, thank you Nick, you did a great, great job!!! During signing of the financial papers I was offered different warranties and so on, but it is a choice if to buy those or not and I exercised those choices with no problems or unusual pressure. I think overall I had a very good experience.

This is my second truck purchase from Toyota of Lake City. Nick was my salesperson this time and was courteous, professional and well versed in the details of my new truck. The transaction was easy, fair and I was made to feel comfortable during my visits there. I traded my original truck in and they met me with a decent trade value that made the transaction fair for both of us. Paperwork took a bit longer due to my unique situation, but they were able and happy hold the new truck (that they had to source at another dealer) and still get me the special Toyota financing that was time sensitive. Easy and stress free for me, hopefully for them too! For service, I had always had my last truck serviced there (Troy took great care of me) and I will continue to do so with this vehicle as they always got me in on a timely basis and kept it working flawlessly. One suggestion - Might be worth putting in a wash and detail bay for services other than an oil change. Apparently it would go a long way probably for some people on these Yelp reviews. But the free Brown Bear Car Wash tickets are nice!! Thanks guys!

Bought a new 2018 Camry XLE Hybrid yesterday and had a great experience with Nick on the sales team. He provided a great overview of the car and its features without being overwhelming so that I would get the most out of the test drive. There was no time pressure - we drove on the local roads, tested out the acceleration and highway experience, and Nick selected a nice combination of hills and curves so that I could get a good feel for the car. After the test drive I had more questions about all of the car features and interior, and without hesitation Nick spent the additional time to walk me through all of the screens and features of the car. My mechanic recommended a repair that he could not do because it required an alignment afterwards. Took it to the dealership because its very close to where I live. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I had them do a $40 inspection and they came back to me with an estimate of $2100 for the repair which was a rack and pinion. I expect the dealer to be a few hundred dollars more expensive than other shops but this seemed very high. I took my car to a trusted mechanic in Ballard and came out with a total bill of $1200 for the same exact repairs. I assume the work at the dealership is trustworthy and as I stated I had good interactions with the employee's. But almost a grand extra is too much for me.

I went with my friend who has never bought a car before to this dealership and I can’t say enough about our positive experience! Jimmy treated us and asked what we were looking for and what the price range my friend was willing to afford. Never once did we feel pressured to buy anything, nor did he try to upscale the car. We then headed over to finance where Raad helped us and got the best interest rate for my friend. He was also attentive, and didn’t try to oversell us and force a bunch of things on us. Not once did we feel like they were being sneaky, they were informative, polite, personable, and honestly cared about our best interests at heart. All in all, this was a marvelous experience. Our salesman Joey was wonderful. Listened and gave me all the information I was seeking in my preliminary car buying research trip. He is 100% the reason that they have 3 stars and not 1. I would love to be able to work with him at another dealership. Not as pleased with other folks. I was clear we weren't buying and the sales manager could have been worse in his pressing to close the deal. It felt a bit scammy that they gave me a trade in value from KBB for my vehicle based on mileage and condition then took off another $1500 for "reconditioning" my vehicle - the KBB is based on condition and so taking off more for fixing chips in the paint (the only issue they mentioned) is disingenuous and kinda sleezy. Yeah, gives them more 'negotiating' room, but really? But somewhere between sales and service things went poorly. I received an email from their service department warning me that my vehicle was Overdue For Service. Considering I have never taken my car to this dealership but have had regular maintenance performed on schedule with another dealership since I purchased the vehicle (and I know that the information is linked to my VIN as I've had work done while traveling cross country in the past), I was confused. I had not taken my vehicle to their service department. I hadn't asked to be added to their mailing list for service. And when I called service they said they had no idea why I got the email and sales said the same thing. Somewhere in there there's something wonky going on.

Why Seattle you ask, we found the right vehicle at the right price, and I am glad it was with Toyota of Lake City. I was able to negotiate a tentative deal remotely before having to visit the dealership. David in the internet department was a pleasure to work with. He was upfront, honest and very understanding. He was never pushy or making promises just to get me in the door. Once our deal was all but finalized, leaving only vehicle inspections, I was able to send my wife to Seattle to purchase the vehicle. Here's my car ownership history: owned two Toyota sedans for a total of 35 years. Bought each very slightly used with low mileage from private owners. I finally got my first new car in December 2017, a 2018 RAV4, to replace my 2002 Corolla. My hairdresser told me she has clients who are repeat customers of this dealership - and they're people who wouldn't patronize any business that wasn't a good one. Based on that reliable recommendation I started my car search at this dealership. I didn't know what to expect from the experience of buying a new car from a dealer. I'm glad for the tip to go up to Lake City: this place gets high marks from me. I was treated respectfully and fairly, and never felt pushed around. Kudos especially to Maya Goldstein (salesperson), Karim (finance guy), and Tony (paperwork finance guy). Maya efficiently followed up post-sale to take care of some details. All of these folks made my first new car purchase a real pleasure. Oh, and on top of all that, they get extra points for being super friendly to my dog. May 2020 addendum: I'm nearing the end of my RAV4's lease, and want to understand my options for purchasing this car. I called Toyota of Lake City Way for information and spoke with Chase Gardner. I went in earlier this week and was curious to know more about the RAV4. I was greeted by Hunter King who proceeded to answer any and all questions that I had and we also went out for a test drive of a 2015 model. I was very impressed but did not want to rush into a decision and was not pressured in any way to do so. I went back a day later and again Hunter was able to answer additional questions and we were then able to come to an agreement on price. I was most impressed when I went to pick up the car today and Hunter offered to follow me back home in my older car so I would not have to figure out a way to get it home. This was something that he clearly did not need to do but it was good example of a someone doing a little extra and it made a very positive impression. If you are looking to buy a car, I would recommend Hunter and Toyota of Lake City without any reservation.

Despite some paperwork mishaps by the dealership and the usual, seemingly endless offerings of extended warranties, you can expect an overall great experience here. Just stay diligent on checking all the numbers and understanding what your limitations are for add-on warranties as you go through the final paperwork stages with the finance guy. The sales team I worked with here (Chase Gardner and Ivos Clement) were kind and professional all the way through from dealership scoping to driving off the lot with my new car. I worked with Chase the majority of the time and was met with respect and eagerness to meet and exceed my expectations every step of the way. I never felt rushed into a decision and if something was not possible or available, I was provided a polite no and subsequent explanation; never was it belittling or condescending. After visiting other dealerships and initially accepting the fact that I would have to wait months to receive a car to my exact specifications, Chase and his manager tracked down my car that was already built and making its way to the port, made some calls to reserve it and to ensure its arrival to Lake City upon hitting the port that following Monday. During the 3-4 weeks of eager anticipation as they installed my accessories at the port, Chase was extremely diligent in staying responsive via email, while also providing me weekly updates on my car. In the end, I was able to pick up my car a day earlier than scheduled, although they needed some time to detail. In the future, if and when I ever decide to purchase another Toyota vehicle, I will certainly be returning here.

We bought a new 2020 RAV4 from Toyota of Lake City in late January 2020. We used the Costco Auto Program and worked with Salesman Nour and Finance Manager Shay to quickly negotiate the deal. Within two hours of stepping into the store, we left with a brand new crossover! The next morning, we noticed some charges and fees in the finance agreement that we didn’t think were properly explained (e.g. gap insurance, theft engraving, and maintenance cost). In the next couple of days, we had multiple emails and calls with Shay and Nour to try to resolve. Within a week of the car purchase, Shay came to the dealership, on his day off, to meet with us. Shay let us revisit the financing contract. He spent over an hour to clearly explained all finance charges to us. We discussed the charges and fees and we removed some items while keeping others. In total we saved over $1k from the initial deal the week before. We really appreciate that Shay followed up to resolve our concerns. He really came through for us and made things right. We are impressed by his efforts to make sure that customers are happy. We are Toyota customers for life and will be more than happy to work with Shay and recommend any friends and family to Toyota of Lake City.

I had been looking for a "new" used 4x4 for the last few months. This was to be my primary vehicle, so I was really picky. I was on Craigslist daily. Occasionally I would visit a dealer site. I happened to look at Lake City Toyota, saw a Highlander listed that must have just come in. It said call for price, I hate that. I stopped in Memorial Day on my way to the cemetery and talked to Chris the GM. He found the Highlander and I checked it out. It hadn't been prepped or anything, but, I liked it. He made me an offer. A good offer. I drove it and decided that day to take it. Olie, the salesperson, worked with me to make sure this is what I wanted and to make sure things went smooth. There were some cosmetic issues, but, it is a used vehicle. They found one major thing that wold have killed any profit they were going to make and I said to let it go. It's not a safety thing. Shay, in financing, who is great, worked with me on financing and I wound up with a better deal than either of my Credit Unions could do. Olie made sure I knew everything about my vehicle before I drove off the lot. She also got the owners manuals. 5 stars for Chris, Olie and Shay. I will recommend this dealer to others I know.

I mentioned that the van hadn't come with a keyless entry remote, which I thought should come standard. Zach made sure I was able to come in and get the remote programmed free of charge. Almost given up but thank God I decided to give my last shot at Toyota of Lake City and I did my car purchase with them. It was a smooth and STRAIGHT FORWARD transaction with just a tiny hiccup with a document. Overall, it was quick and easy purchase. My sales person was George Chaker. We met the price in between so it was a win-win situation. No sales pressure or all that kind of nonsense talk; I asked the inventory, negotiated the price (online and over the phone) and paid the next day in person. It was all done within 24 hour (*end of the month). George is easy going and an excellent sales person! I would recommend doing business with him when you come there. Toyota of Lake City should be proud to have him part of the team! Not so nice part was the finance dept. It took over an hour and a half to get the document and payment finished and another 40 minutes the next day to finalize it. We did not want any extended warranty so we made it clear from the beginning and saved a lot of time. the experience was pleasant. Pay a visit to the store if you plan to purchase a car. For improvement, invite the kid to the playroom if the adult/s come/s with small kid/s. George could have informed me that there was a kids' playroom by the lounge so that my son would not be bored but I found the room myself. 5 Star for George and 4 Star for Lake City Toyota!

1st off things to keep in mind. I live 4 hours away from this dealership. I've been shopping around for a very particular car for over couple months, all along Oregon and Washington. I wasn't in a hurry to buy a car. I had contacted Lake City early in my research and searching phase. Zach G. was one to get back to me. I basically said I was interested in your car. Please let me know when you can meet me at my price offer which was about $900 below their asking price. After weeks of on and off emailing and texting with Zach, we talked alot about the car's details. He was great in sending me detailed car's inspection paper work. When my other car options faded away, I put my focus on Zach's car in Lake City. He was awesome in his responsiveness with texts and emails. He even replied back to me after hours. This made it very easy for me to pursue this car that was 4 hours away from me. Negotiating through emails was a lot less stressful for me. I was able to research and compare their counter offer without the pressure of being at the dealership, regardless how close/far the dealership was. After tentatively agreeing on the price, I even asked them about some of Lake City's horrific reviews and they assured me I was not going to get tricked. **When we got to Lake City, I saw my car, and met with Zach. We inspected the car and drove it with out issues. As advised. The next best part was next when we had already agreed on the price that we exchanged during emails and text. No hassle in trying to work on the price. That was awesome. What took the longest was getting the paper work and signing it. <><>I did get an unpleasant surprise when Zach informed me that they only one key for the car.<><> This was after they said they had two keys. None the less they didnt fight me on that and they put in writing that, after I buy the key where I lived, and emailed them the receipt, that they would pay me back. 2 weeks later, I got the check and title in the mail. My biggest issue comes after the sale. I was not aware of the title process. I was under the impression that I would have title in hand after buying the car. It came to a shock to me when I was told they would mail the title to me. Keep in mind I lived 4 hrs away. None the less 2 weeks later I got my title. ##I only wish I was better informed on the title process and when it was mailed and to get a tracking number. Little things that made me feel I was taken care of after the purchase. Zach wasn't as responsive as he was before the sale. I get it, he's made his money already, why put more time in my messages. This includes the check for the extra key I had made. I only wish I had information on the delivery of the check. Overall my experience with Lake City was good/decent. I only wish they were closer so I can give them opportunity to service my car when the time comes. I would recommend Zach to anyone trying to buy a car from Lake City, given if he does a better job replying after the sale and to use emails and text, that way you can always refer to them later on. I only say to take your time on the research and to know about the title process.

The experience of buying a car at Toyota of Lake City was fairly painless. I had been in contact with a few other dealerships about the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited, and quite honestly was just about at the end of the search, ready to make a move. Then I saw an ad for the same vehicle at Toyota of Lake City and called salesman Nick Wanta, just to make sure I was getting the best deal I could. Basically, I told Nick what we were ready to do at a dealership closer to us, and gave him the opportunity to see if he could do better. Nick spoke with his sales manager, Karim, and we were quickly able to close a deal that was better than what I almost agreed to with another dealer. Both Nick and Karim were easy to work with, along with the other personnel I dealt with as well. Checking with Toyota of Lake City first might have saved me a lot of time, and a whole lot less grief. It was a good final effort that paid off. Both Nick and Karim were men of their word. A short time after we bought the car, one day, on a Saturday or Sunday, the steering wheel locked and I just couldn’t figure out how to release it, and called Nick for advice. He went through some possibilities, but nothing worked. Nick was ready to drive the 25 miles from the dealership to my home to see what he could do, but after waiting, then trying some things again, the lock released, and I called Nick to let him know. That’s the kind of person Nick is, and it was a pleasure doing business with both Nick, and Karim. Thank you Toyota of Lake City!

I worked with Frank Chung, who told me what they had, what they thought a fair price was, and invited me to make an offer. There were some back and forths, and that's where things can usually go sideways, but on the whole, I got close to where I wanted and I'm sure it was within their range. Regardless of the deal, Frank was professional, stayed with my kids while my wife and I checked out the cars on the floor, and stayed with me throughout the sale and post-sale process. David, their Finance guy was also good to work with, and employed the soft approach to upselling, which probably works to his advantage. Overall great experience (vs. my last buying experience several years ago) and happy with Frank and the Lake City dealership.

Awesome experience at this location. The entire staff, and especially the General Manager (Chris), were both considerate and helpful. My Versa's transmission blew out and I was contemplating between repairs and purchasing a new car. After deciding on the latter, I was assisted in selecting a lease option for a new vehicle at this Toyota location. Never once did I feel sold to in the entire process, and the General Manager gave me a great trade-in value for my Versa, which had some significant external damage aside from the transmission problems. After purchase the staff went out of their way to provide convenience. They drove my new car to my residence, allowing me to drop off my rental car at the rental location. Both my residence and the car-rental location, while close to each other, were quite a distance from the dealership. And the car-rental company did not provide any pick-up option. With a great and caring staff, I would definitely recommend this dealership for your future car purchases.

We went in to look for a Tubdra crewmax, and ultimately were going to leave when we found out they only had an access cab in stock because we were searching for a quad cab truck with a lot more room than the Audi we had... a Tacoma double cab pulled up and our sales associate Joey and one of the sales managers were chatting us up on our way out and convinced us to just take a look at the space in the Tacoma. We ended up pleasantly surprised with out spacious it was and ended up taking it for a test drive. It handed very well (TRD Off-road, short bed) and had enough space to fit our rear facing car seats without compromising all the legroom up front like we experienced in our Audi & currently in our Explorer Sport (I’m 6’ 1”). They found one in our 2nd Choice color Magnetic Grey Metallic (We REALLY wanted cement with the premium tech package which gets you the leather seats) while we were bummed on no cement, we didn’t want to sacrifice losing the tech package and definitely wanted the leather... we left with an AWESOME deal on final price & trade in value for our car! One of our musts was front and rear parking sensors, and a miscommunication from their team confirming the premium tech package contained both ended up not being accurate, as the off-road version only has rear camera and sensors (after our purchase and delivery of the truck) - the dealership offered up front to make it right for us after questioning why we couldn’t get the front sensors to engage when we got it home. They’re installing the front oem sensors for us! We didn’t have to ask, they anticipated and owned it proactively for us. Lastly, we used the Costco auto program for this and if you don’t know about it and have a Costco membership and are in the market for a Toyota, it is a MUST to use! It got us an amazing deal! Thank you Joey for your help and talking us in to checking out the Tacoma. We are very satisfied with it so far!

Drive 1 hour south to meet Jackson and immediately felt that he was my families personal concierge. They honored agreement over phone and did not try and change it. Jackson walked my wife thru features while we waited for finance personal. Finance employee (feel bad I cant remember name) was straight forward without any upsell! I did purchase some extended warranty and protection package for great price and will make vehicle hold value for trade in. Going to drop off vehicle for protection application and they are giving me a complimentary car during process to nullify any inconvenience to my families life. Will try and steal Jackson to buy him lunch while there, that should speak volumes on level of service! Again, I drove 1 hour each way and paid a 10.5 tax rate over my local 8.5 tax rate and have no regret!

Spoke to someone in their parts department yesterday 03/17/2020 afternoon that was vary unhelpful and not willing to work with me to get the wrong part exchanged, he told me that I would have to pay for new parts in full even though as stated before I put my vin number in on the website and got the part designated for my specific vehicle. Last week I was put in a position where I had to unexpectedly buy a new car. I narrowed down my choices and settled on a Rav4. I looked at my options online and first went to a Toyota dealership in North Seattle. Toyota Lake City had the same car, and George Chaker reached out seeing that I was online looking at their Rav4. He assured me he would be there to help me out if I wanted to see the car. He also answered several questions before I arrived, which made me more compelled to go see the car. When I arrived 45 minutes later than I said I would, he was still very friendly, helpful, and patient. We test drove the car and I loved it. I told him what I could pay and what I wanted. George Chaker made the price match the other dealership and remained patient and friendly the entire time, even when I made him go back and change the deal SEVERAL times. I ended up paying a bit more than planned with some warranties, but I do believe Shay, the financial specialist had many good points about these add-ons. Shay also went out of his way to make the purchase successful. All in all, this was a good experience considering I was not at all prepared to buy a car at the time. They made it much easier and low-stress. Thanks Lake City Toyota. (also, this is my second time buying a car here-once 6 years ago and that was also a great purchase).

My wife appreciated Eric's attention to her questions, after having bad luck with other dealerships in the past. My wife and I were out looking for a SUV last Sunday and after stopping in at many different dealers we went to Toyota in Lake City and realized we should have just gone there to begin with. It was the best experience at purchasing a vehicle we have ever had. The sales rep Jackson was the best. Bought a new Rav4 SE Hybrid. Last bought a car in 2004, and this was my first new car. I wanted all the tech bells & whistles, which was pretty pricy and a lot to keep track of. Mark Anthony Hernandez helped me and was quite patient as I dithered about features, lease vs. purchase, financing issues, etc. I'm sure I made him repeat stuff multiple times. He drove us to another lot to see a different color, which meant I didn't have to wait for a color I decided I didn't like. After some no-pressure conversation, I decided to opt of the additional feature package, and then Mark found another vehicle that had even more extras for no more cost. So far a great experience. (Didn't get to see all the available colors, which was too bad, but happy with the dark grey I got!)

I took a friend with me at 7 pm on a Monday night to be sure I didn't buy a car on the spur of the moment. I just wanted to test drive the Rav4. When I called to see if they could help me so late at night, Chaz Jenkins told me to come on down. He greeted me, ready to go, explained everything about the car and took me on a test drive. I received such excellent support in evaluating the car and the options offered to me that my friend knew there was no point trying to stop me from buying it on the spot. Bari Bhurgri took me through a thorough explanation of financing and paperwork, very clear and respectful. No pressure from anyone, fair pricing. I knew I wanted the electric storm blue model and wondered when I might be able to pick it up. When we walked out of Bari's office, there it was, freshly washed and ready to go. Chaz set up my bluetooth, cruise control buffer, and other features on the spot. 9:30 pm. Done deal. Everyone stayed let to let it happen. I had a great experience the whole time and highly recommend Toyota of Lake City, Chaz, and Bari. Followup has been excellent as well, and I love my car.

My salesperson was Nick. He was understanding about the best deals given my criteria. By the time I met him, I had narrowed my options to a gently used Camry Hybrid or a brand new Camry LE. With all of the deals (President's Day, New Grad, Costco Auto Program), it was a better value for me to go with a brand new car. And so I did. I was at the dealership for a total of 6 hours, and Nick was with me UP UNTIL I met with the finance manager to discuss add-ons and sign the contract. I brought my entire posse to ensure they would "OK" the car and test it out as a passenger. In total, I test drove 4 times and Nick was patient. I didn't feel pressured by Nick at all. I mostly felt pressured in the finance manager's office where I was slammed with add-ons like extended warranty, maintenance service, Northwest Package, and the 3M. This was my first time car shopping, let alone car purchasing, so if you could imagine, I was stressed out and pretty vulnerable. I ended up getting the extended warranty and maintenance service, but if I could do it again, I probably wouldn't UNLESS I have adequate private time to fully evaluate the pros/cons with a full summary of what the TOTAL costs would be with/without (instead of a verbalized monthly costs) and I'd ask for a list of all of the services included in each of those add-ons BEFORE I walked out of the finance manager's office. The next day, I went back to the dealership to go over the contract sale because I felt very uneasy once I got home and saw the alarming TOTAL. I did quite a bit of research on the extended warranty program and in general, learned that it's overpriced when sold directly from the dealership and it has a lot of hidden fine print that exclude common fixes. Ultimately, I am keeping because I have a while to decide to cancel for a full refund. Overall, I'd recommend Nick to show you around. However, do a very thorough research about extended warranties, Gap insurance, etc. before you go to buy your car. I'd test drive one day, sleep on it, and come back the next day to complete the purchase.

After getting in touch with the general manager and his team about my windshield. The GM ended up saving me money on a windshield replacement. I got quotes from multiple places and none told me about my windshield has smart technology. The windshield needs to be calibrated with the safety system. Even with the cost of that I still saved money compared to my other quotes.

Preface : Two weekends ago I went to Magic Toyota in Edmonds, and that was a complete nightmare. Lots of lies,deceit and I was less impressed with the staff and management who could not answer any of my questions. I knew MORE about the particular model of vehicle I was interested in then they did. Hello, Educate your staff please?! Strike ONE! We settled on a price before I even came into the dealership ... which is the only reason that got me into the dealership. I don't like having my time wasted. Be a straight shooter , I don't like the games dealerships play. Then they ran my credit, because we already ran the numbers and they were satisfactory. Next, the sales man came back after talking to his desk manager and said, " sorry we can't give you the price we promised. " They wasted 4 hours of my day , and lied to get me into their dealership.) Strike TWO!! They then kept my title and never returned it to me on the lease I was turning in. Strike THREE!!! Toyota of Lake City does NOT operate like this. We had a flawless experience at Toyota of Lake City. I went to turn in my lease on my 2015 Prius and needed to find a better suited car for my needs. I had the privilege of getting to work with Chris P., the GM and sales professional, Tim Park. Chris is absolutely an amazing , hands on GM. Kudos to him for working on the floor, speaking to customers and being available to his staff. Most GM's do not typically are like this. BIG SHOUT OUT to him! Tim and Chris were very patient and kind, making sure they could get me into a car that would fit my budget. Tim is a no pressure type of salesman which is so refreshing ! Financing was easy, fast and a great experience overall. 10 minutes in and out of finance. Pretty awesome! Overall, they have fun courteous staff that were all very helpful to answer whatever questions my boyfriend and I had. If you are undecided to check out this location, definitely make it a point to stop in and see Tim, I cannot reiterate how awesome he is!! She did a great job in assisting with the car buying process. She went over all of the details with care and made sure that there were no errors in any of the forms. We also appreciate her friendly, easy-going attitude. Other dealerships did not treat us the way Evelyn did; other dealerships tried to get us to spend more than what we could afford. We ended up buying a certified pre-owned Yaris. Despite the three hours we spent inside (none of which was spent haggling over price), it was well worth it. The interior of the dealership was clean, brightly lit, and had a very open feel. No other dealership had the same atmosphere as this one. I recently bought a Prius Prime from Jackson. The experience is very good: I have done some researches on the price, and I told them the price we wanted, and he told me this is very low but he will check with his manager. And he got back to me with exactly the price I asked. To be honest, I wasn't expecting the process to be so smooth because I also visited other Toyota dealers, and they just kept explaining to me that they can only do MSRP as this type of car is very popular and they can't lose money, and completely ignoring the researches I did and the prints-out I showed them. Within an hour or so, internet sales specialist Nick Wanta reached out to me and answered all of my questions quickly. On my test drive he was was very knowledgable of all the functions the vehicle had to offer. 2/19/19 Year Update: 4Runner is good - minus a piece of trim. Expensive for any sort of service at Lake City Toyota; and full MSRP cost for parts (lots of other dealerships had same part for ~$15 less on a $55 part...). If you are adept at the internet and resourceful with yelp and your fingers - you could definitely get your Toyota fixed cheaper elsewhere. Service has been fine to deal with for 4 oil changes and the mention above. Wait for the typical oil change/etc usually runs 90-120 minutes. Original: I purchased a 2018 4Runner from Toyota of Lake City and had a good buying experience. If you are upfront - they are willing to do business.
