The service at Tasca is excellent and Jose is a top notch Service Advisor. I was there for regular maintenance (oil change, tire rotation etc.) and Jose priced it out before the work began. When it was determined I needed rear brake pads, he brought to the service area to show me. That has never happened to me before and greatly impressed me. Jose also gave me periodic updates as to the progress of the work. When the work was completed, he told me the tech was taking it for a drive and suggested I pay so I would be free to go when the tech returned which I thought that was smart idea. The tech detected a slight adjustment was needed and Jose informed me of that. Jose is outstanding in his field and gives superb customer service. He deserves 10 stars!

Prompt response to calls and emails. Extremely flexible and sensitive to customers schedule. Clean waiting area and complementary refreshments while you wait. Beautiful modern showroom. Staff greets you and gives space to look around… no high pressure sales which is amazing. They are around when you’re ready and are on the ball with answers and options. You won’t spend hours here, they value your time. The staff is so respectful that I won’t shop anywhere else for a vehicle. It’s the perfect balance at Tasca.

Had a problem with 2018 grand Cherokee. TASCA ordered the replacement parts and they came in quicker than we expected. Brought the vehicle in for check engine, tpms, ambient temperature, 4x4 stopped working, radiator pressure check and automatic start wasn't working. After speaking with the representative and mechanics everything is straightened out now and the vehicle is performing to specification again. Some photos are before the work, others are after the work, the challenger was given as a rental.

I am here to write about my satisfaction with this dealership. I was in a 3 year least on my 2015 Dodge Charger that I got from Elmwood Dodge as I have gotten the past 5 cars from them. I was over my miles a little bit and went into Elmwood to see what my options were. The only options that they had were at a payment higher than I could afford with at least $5,000 down. Feeling discouraged, I explored other options and that is when I was contacted by someone at Grieco.
After explaining my situation, I was asked to come in and see if they could do anything for me just to help get me out of my current lease. After stopping into Grieco one night, I was approached by Joe DonFrancesco who talked with me for a little bit to get some information from me about the current status of my lease and what I was hoping to get out of it. Joe just wanted to understand all points of view and he got his manager Steve Mello involved. Between the two of them, they treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable and at ease with them being that it was my first time in their dealership.
Steve and Joe were able to find me a 2018 Charger Indigo Blue, which was the color I wanted with my previous Charger but they didn't have any available at the time and this was the only 1 in New England so I kind of lucked out. Steve and Joe kept working and grinding the numbers for me to get me to a payment that I believe I could afford and with only putting down a little bit of money which I can understand and was happy to do in order to get the car that I truly wanted.
All in all, Joe and Steve were great throughout the entire process. Even after Joe and Steve did their job, the gentleman that I did my paperwork with, Anthony, was exceptional as well and had everything ready for me to sign so I could take my wife out to a nice dinner in my beautiful new car! The entire process took 2 days.
******Update June 2018******
Please read through your entire lease agreement or have them prepare and sign something in front of you that states that if they purchase your car to re-sell it that they will be responsible for the disposition fee and any excess mileage fee. I was told by the sales people and the financing representative that if they purchased my car (which they did and sold within 5 days after I bought my car from them), then I would not have to worry about the disposition or excess mileage fees. However, to my surprise, I received a final bill from Chrysler and they are charging me both of these.

I shopped several dealerships before I finally stopped into Tasca. I was personally greeted by the General Manager, Steve Lawrence. He introduced me to Steve Vitale. Steve took his time answering all my questions and test driving the new 2020 Gladiator. I was blown away by not only the performance, ride and looks but the outstanding knowledge Steve had about the Gladiator. It was an easy choice for me to choose to purchase my Gladiator from Steve. I meet with Jeff Ciaro and gave me a very reasonable offer on my trade. I now had to talk to someone in Finance, I was sure this was going to be a horror show. I have never had a good experience with other dealerships. I sat with Ron Traver and he treated me outstanding and was able to provide me with a great finance rate and did not try to pressure me into buying additional items.
My overall experience was amazing and i was truly Satisfied. I was able to walk in and drive away with my brand new 2020 Jeep Gladiator within 2 hours from start to finish. I am sure they would have gotten me out quicker but I took a lot of time looking. I can't wait to visit them next week and add some modifications. There performance shop is installing 35 inch Toyo tires, new 20" XD rims and a Mopar 2" lift kit. Dennis Gomes from the Performance shop showed me all the options he had for the new Gladiator. I am sure I will be doing even more mods once Dennis completes these. A great thanks to the entire Tasca team, I look forward buying my ride from Tasca

I want to mention that when they were originally Greico, I had refused to come back to this location. Everything was awful, the customer services, the managers, the actual service.. everything was awful. After finding out that they changed to Tasca according to a representative via email. She also mentioned that the staff and management had changed as well. That being said, I decided to come back in as my Jeep lease was up.
I honestly had such a pleasant experience. Christina Santiago who was my sales representative was very helpful, sweet and answered all questions. Stephen, her general manager was awesome as well! Very straightforward, honest and very helpful throughout my replacement of my lease. We filled out the paperwork the following morning and I wasn’t there all day as you usually are with any car related purchase. Even with new precautions and regulations, everything went smoothly and safe.
We ended up leasing a new Jeep Grand Cherokee and we are more than happy with the service provided. We will definitely be returning customers. I am recommending them for any car purchases moving forward.

Only issue I have is that my windshield wiper fluid, break fluid and steering wheel fluid were not checked I guess because they were all at or below minimum. I only found out because I needed to add windshield wiper fluid the next day when the light came on and noticed all of the other ones mentioned were super low too. I just figured those issues would have been addressed at a service. Otherwise, everything was great

I cannot say enough good things about my last experience with the service department at Tasca. I had previously been going somewhere else, and booked my inspection/oil change here because of their availability on Saturdays. Their online service appointment booking system was super easy and convenient to use as well. It’s always a gamble going to bigger dealerships/service centers because you never know what you’re going to get from the people who work there or what you’ll get charged before leaving. I’m glad I gave them a chance, because the customer service was outstanding and the oil change was cheaper than the other shop I was using. I was welcomed, treated with respect, and not left ignored in the waiting room. I was even given some tips and suggestions, and wasn’t charged for something I thought I needed but wasn’t going to get (which I thought was very cool and polite - some places will take you for every dime you’ve got and charge for every minor thing wrong). I witnessed several customers in person and over the phone giving the women at the service desk a hard time, and instead of being frustrated or getting angry back, they handled it gracefully and professionally. My car was handled with care and I was happy to see it parked, washed, and ready to go on schedule. I will be using them for any repairs and routine checkups my beloved Fiat needs in the future, and if you’re in need of service I suggest you call them up and pay them a visit too.

Yesterday was my first time going to this Tasca dealership. I came in to receive an oil change, tire rotation and to have my car looked at to make sure everything is running smooth. I was first greeted by Joel. It’s so refreshing being acknowledged when you first walk into any business because it starts your experience off right. He explained the process to me, got me signed in and let me know it will take between 1-2 hours for my car to be looked at. Honesty to me goes a long way because I have been stuck at a dealership for 3+ hours getting my cars oil changed. While I was waiting the manager, Greg introduces himself to me and asked me if I was all set and was being helped. He was so accommodating and made sure Joel was updating me throughout my service. Greg checked on me every so often and took time to let me know that after looking throughly at my Jeep everything is running fine and if I have any further issues in the future, to bring my Jeep down and he will get it looked at. Joel and Greg made this process so seamless and I appreciate it. I will be back to service my Jeep and will tell other family and friends about my experience as well. Thank you!!

When we picked it up, the steering wheel was not centered. Went back and they fixed it immediately. So positive that they made it right, negative that we had to take some extra time to go back and wait for it to be fixed.

Not my first time purchasing from Tasca but we are just as satisfied as the first time! Attempted to exit a lease a few months ago but from a financial standpoint it wasn’t feasible, The same salesman we met with back in November called in January to invite us back to re-evaluate our standing. We had a small budget window accompanied by a long list of ‘wants’ in the next lease so we didn’t make it easy for the dealership :) after realizing the vehicle we wanted wasn’t going to work in the budget the salesman and the manager provided a transparent explanation as to why; and also worked to meet our wants/needs of a vehicle while staying near our desired payment. After a second test drive we found the perfect fit! Of course there was the “back-and-forth” you get in any car buying experience (you want a great deal but they also have to make a profit). The salesman was persistent doing everything he could to satisfy us and it was noticed. At the end of it all we truly felt our satisfaction was their priority and we love the new 2019 Cherokee! I went into the dealership fully prepared to make a deal if it worked for what I was looking for, but also ready to walk away if matters weren't to my liking. I met Anthony right after walking in. After a very poor experience with Grieco, the previous owners, I was extremely hesitant about going back there to deal with my almost-up lease. Steve L., the General Manager, was terrific. He sat down with my husband and me for the entire time, laid out multiple options for us, and made us feel very comfortable by telling us the truth. I just traded in my Mojito Wrangler for a Hybrid. My salesman David was extremely helpful and did not pressure me. The service at the dealership was great. I am now evaluating the Hybrid to see if it lives up to the name. In the first two weeks, not enough data to evaluate. Lets hope more charging stations pop up around Rhode Island and Mass.... The Jeep will fully charge in 2 hours at the proper station, at home you are looking at overnight - typical of all hybrid model cars.

I would ask that you become more stern with your younger employees about distance especially with one another. The Governor has mandated social distancing. 3. young people are really aggravating me that they think they are above this virus and the rest of us should not have to deal with them.. if they cant do the right thing perhaps they should not be with the public?

There was lots of confusion in terms what I'd be charged for and what was going to be done on my car. Initially, was told that If I got repairs done at the dealer then they'd waive the cost of diagnostic. I set up my appointment and the next day when I show up for the diagnostic, the woman who greets me says the diagnostic fee of $137 cannot be waived. That it would be diagnostic plus repairs. I told her I was told otherwise the day prior, but she insisted that what she was telling me was correct. I leave my car and I'm told that they will call me to let me know what came up and they wouldn't do anything to my car without me agreeing to it first. Next thing I know, after noon time I get a phone call that my car was ready for pick up. I was so confused and asked if anything had even been done to it. She said that the gas cap had been changed and that the car was ready for pick up. I told her I never got a call to let me know what was found in the diagnostic but we'd discuss it when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. I get there and I'm not even explained if anything is wrong with my car, I'm I'm just brought to a desk to pay my bill and told to have a nice day. I asked the young woman what had been done to the car and she hesitantly looked at the bill and just read what was on there. No one took their time to explain to me what was done and I was disregarded. I don't think I will return to Tasca as my experience was not a good one. First and last time there.

Be aware! Registration issues!
It took over 2 months for the registration transfer to be completed. Tasca takes cars in, hurried up to get them ready too show, but stalls on the buy out. This delays them receiving the title, which delays being able to complete the registration. The dealership NEVER notified us the registration wasn't complete. We notified them. Once they were made aware a rental car was issued because it was passed time to use a 20 day temp plate. VERY FRUSTRATING! Took numerous calls and drop in visits before it was resolved. After talking to several people, discovered this is a common issue! Lesson learned: ask if the title is free and clear.

Jonathan Gamacho did a great job handling my service visit. He explained in detail all they did to complete the repairs needed to keep my jeep on the road.Fortunately a majority of repairs were covered by the lifetime warranty on my powertrain etc. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.This is my second visit since Tasca has taken over and it shows. I also appreciate that I had a rental for two days for free !!. I didn't give Tasca four stars because I think they could do more in their waiting room. I didn't see any place to charge a phone. I would also be nice to have access to a vending machine , especially if you're going to be there awhile. Maybe it's because they try to get you in and out so quickly, it might not be necessary. Keep up the good work !

That is the best word I can think of to describe the professionalism, attention to detail, customer service, and technical service my son has received from Brent Mattson and the team at Grieco Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram. They say everything happens in 3's but for us, it happened in 4's in only 17 days. And from one situation to another, the excellent service has been coordinated by Brent, our Service Advisor - he scheduled the service, arranged loaner cars, forwards claims to our extended warranty provider, initiated "road side" service when our truck got 2 flats on the same day (but an hour apart), he communicated the details of the repairs to all parties involved. Brent is a great asset to the Grieco Service Department and we feel very fortunate to be apart of his team. After the traditional long stay in the dealership, I was pleased with the outcome by my sales person Ian. He was knowledgeable of the vehicle i leased and did a great job as the go between. As for Cory the sales manager, he was not going to have me walk out with a deal that he i felt was fair to both sides. after going back and forth I felt I received a deal that was satisfying to me.

GREAT experience at Tasca Johnston recently. My wife and I were looking to lease a 3rd row SUV for our growing family. We narrowed it down to the Durango and the Chevy Traverse. Once we narrowed it down, I emailed several dealerships accross RI and MA to get their best deals on the Traverse and the Durango. With an infant and a toddler at home we insisted on getting lots of details over email before coming into the showrooms as we needed a babysitter to go and test drive vehicles. What I found out is that standard car dealership procedure to withold information until they have you in their showroom. Young families dont have time to go in person to multiple dealerships. I was very dissappointed to get emails back from almost every dealership that they would not give me the info I needed without actually Coming in.
Tasca was different from the start. Sarah, who must be in charge of all emails, immediately responded to my email (on a Sunday), found a Durango that met my specifications, AND emailed me back with ALL of the details I was asking for. Other dealerships take notice! This kind of honesty and tranparency is what today’s consumer is looking for. Why would I spend my time going to a place that cant even be up front with me? What are you hiding where you cant tell me one detail about the potential deal? Tasca was confident that they had the vehicle I was looking for and they were confident wnough in their offer to put it in an email for me.
With this info, I was ready to come in. Sarah put me in touch with Dave who I primarily worked with to get the deal done. Dave was relaxed, up front, hard working, knowledgable, and very focused on customer service. He was very busy the whole time but he did a great job of staying engaged with me while multi tasking. This is not easy. Everyone wants to feel like they are the only customer but the reality is, Tasca is a popular dealership with many customers. Even though they were busy, Dave Stayed locked in to make sure I was getting the information I needed.
We ended up getting an upgraded trim package on a 2018 Durango compared to the model was originally quoted over email for roughly the same lease deal. They were also able to beat any deal on the Traverse. The lesser trim package version was at another Tasca dealership so I think they were motivated move the vehicle on their lot. Worked out for all involved! The truck is beautiful and our family will enjoy it for years. Dave, and the sales managers I worked with worked very hard to get me the same deal on the nicer truck. I am on vacation currently so I dont have all of the sales managers names. I will update this review when I have them because everyone I dealt with at Tasca was a pleasure to deal with!
I would definitely recommend Tasca to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. They are a big time dealership with a clear focus on customer service and transparency.

I had called to make an appointment for a recall on my vehicle and inquired if the part was available which I was assured. I get to the appointment and guess what? Part was not available. Had to come back a week later and had the work done. Part for recall never required access to my center console which I opened when I got home and someone's expired credit card was laying on top inside the console. Why access my console? What else was accessed? Stay the course and do the work without rummaging through my car. For that and the past screw up I'm knocking off 2 stars.

One minor complaint: I traded in my car, and left my garage door opener and EZPass in the old car, so I had to trek out there an extra time to pick them up. They take trade-ins every day, and I am sure this is a regular occurrence, so they could provide a checklist for commonly forgotten items in trade-in cars.

I walked into Metro to get a number on a Grand Cherokee. I had been to two other dealerships but Metro had called me that morning and said they'd guarantee beating any other dealer's price. I told them I'd prefer to talk numbers over the phone as I didn't want to sit in the dealership for 2 hours, but they insisted I come in and they'd be my last stop. They also said they had the vehicle I wanted on the lot. More on that later.
I went in and got hooked up with Dave Duarte. When I told Dave what I was looking for vehicle-wise and price-wise, he went to do some digging. He came back with some bad news. They didn't have the car I wanted on the lot like I was told. They had white with black interior, but it was much more expensive than I wanted to consider. Dave took me out for a test drive anyway, told me everything he knew about the vehicle, and insisted he wanted an opportunity to work the numbers. I was skeptical but agreed.
I was very direct in stating what I needed to have to make it work. Dave took the numbers to the "man behind the desk" and came back with a weak offer. We went back and forth a few times without successfully striking a deal. I typically don't like to do this, but I could tell Dave was in my corner and wanted to make this work for me. Instead of the situation feeling like it was me vs. Dave and the guy behind the desk, it felt like was me and Dave vs. the guy behind the desk.
Eventually, Joe, another sales manager, jumped in on the sale to help it along. I shot down a couple of more deals but they wouldn't give up. Finally, I put my final offer on the table and sent them back with the numbers. We all agreed that if this offer didn't work, I was walking. Dave and Joe came back, repeated the final offer we went in with, and extended a hand for congratulations. We had struck a bargain of a deal.
I'll say again that I don't like going back and forth and if I feel like we're running in circles I have no problem walking. Nobody likes the process of buying a car for this very reason. While at Metro, I truly felt that Dave was in my corner and wanted to live up to the reason I came into the dealership in the first place. No, they didn't have the exact car I wanted as they said they did...but they made up for it and got me into an even better vehicle at a price that I'm not sure any other dealership would beat. They also gave me an extremely fair price for my trade in.
The process of paperwork wasn't fun, but Dave explained everything in black and white. No fine print, no gimmicks, just the facts. He sent my new car up to be detailed and drove it to the gas station himself to fill it up. Once it was time to "deliver" the car, we both got in and he walked me through every bell and whistle it offered. He knows his product more than any other salesman I've spoken to in the last few weeks. After wrapping up, Dave told me to be safe and have fun. I drove away in my new Grand Cherokee that night with a big smile on my face. I'd recommend Dave, Joe, and all of the guys at Metro. They work for you.

As most can attest, the process of shopping, comparing, test driving and finally deciding on a vehicle, new or used, can be quite the intimidating endeavor. Especially in my particular state - still owing a hefty loan payoff on my current vehicle. My recent experience at Tasca Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & Ram in Johnston was hands down the most rewarding and delightful experience I’ve ever encountered in purchasing a vehicle.
Recently, my current job required hours of overtime... with no time to commit to my much needed search for a new car. Luckily, my father offered to assist me in the process. Upon arriving at Tasca, my father experienced what he described (several times) as the “red carpet treatment” - shocked that although he was shopping for a used car within a budget - the salesman, Dave Veracruz, treated him no differently than a customer with a hefty wallet. Pulling the requested car up directly in front of the entrance, exiting the vehicle and opening every door, trunk and hood for careful inspection. Sharing extensive knowledge of the vehicles features and history before taking a test drive. My father was so blown away - by the car, by Dave, by the entire experience - he called me immediately to share the news. “This is it - you’re going to love it!”
An hour later... I arrived to experience the same “red carpet treatment”. I was immediately sold. Dave was incredibly professional, a wealth of knowledge, courteous, patient and most importantly - honest. A rare trait when shopping for a new or used vehicle. He never pushed or pressured me into the numerous other options available on the lot. He was supportive of my needs and never missed a beat. He promised me - this vehicle was a “gem”. I had shopped at a few different Jeep locations in Rhode Island but Deven was very relatable and straightforward and was determined to beat any offer I got elsewhere. The initial reason for my return was because of a commercial I had seen on TV where they were offering 150% KBB trade in value for any vehicle over $5000. It seemed too good to be true but, in keeping with the changes made here, they were true to their word and after a bit of easy going negotiation we had a deal. My how things have changed.
Change was evident from when I first entered the door starting with the change in music selection, the personality of the salesman and the professionalism of the General Sales Manager. It was like I was in another dealership all together where the customer was treated with respect. My how things have changed. We were there all day and we shouldn't have been. We test drove 2 different vehicles the Compass and Patriot which took a bit I understand that but once we agreed on a price for the Patriot it should take 2 and half hours to get into see the finance person. Then I was trading in a truck that was over 10 years old and they said they needed the title, in R.I. you don't need a title after 10 years old, I had the title anyway it was at home but they want $51.50 for a title search we gave them the money and they said it would be returned when we gave them the title. I gave them the title the next day. It has been over a week and still no refund of the $51.50. It should only take 2 days tops for a refund.

I went down on Tuesday to look at a 2014 Dodge Challenger and was greeting by a helpful young man named Deven Young. After taking the Challenger for a test drive and talking numbers with Deven I decided to leave and think things over a bit. I went back down Saturday to talk to them more about the car and was greeted by Marcio Monteiro. I took the car out for another test drive and decided to see if we could work out a deal for the car. Marcio was very helpful and very friendly. Never once did I feel the pressure that normally comes from car salesmen. He worked with me and answered all my questions without being overbearing or pushy. It felt like dealing with a friend and he worked to make the deal happen to get me what I wanted and for the price I could afford. I was then passed on to Mo Sabir in the finance department and yet once again. Really friendly and helpful. All in all I had a great experience at Metro Dodge. Everyone there from the internet sales on down was very friendly and very helpful to me. They worked on my Doge. it's ok I will go back. they did not do anything wrong or poorly, but as far as service goes I like Balise Toyota of Warwick to the point if I buy ar new car I will get a toyota or lexus just so I can get my service at Balise. So to sum it up they don't suck, the coffee is ok the WiFi works, the lounge could be updated, but is ok. the pricing is a bit on the high side, I think. They use book-Job hours to charge for each thing that they do and that can get pricey. I hope this review helps.
