Hands down the best and easiest car buying experience - ever! We purchased our second GLC300 coupe from MB of Scarborough on 12/17/21. We worked with Tom McCoubrey & Mike Ferraro and everything from the initial contact to the closing couldn't have possibly been easier.
We had done our homework and already knew that the price of the car was more than fair, even though they're very hard to find right now. We also knew exactly what we were looking for for a trade in value on our 2018 and what we should get for an APR on the new financing based on our credit. They not only met but beat both on the first go.
We were educated about the service plan and additional warranties but never once felt pressured to buy anything extra. It was presented in a way that made it obvious what made sense to purchase and what didn't.
HUGE kudos to the way you guys do business. It would certainly be tough to go anywhere else now and I can't thank you enough.

I went in knowing exactly what I was purchasing. Had found the car in the website asked that it be ready for me. Service was nothing special. Asked a handful of questions and got vague answers. specific safety questions from the insurance company couldn’t be answered with certainty which means I could have missed on a few discounts . Also asked specific service questions and answers seems vague and unknown. Sales associate was adamant that I give her a 5 star rating on this survey asking / reminding me several times through out our conversations and text and phone call- please note I am giving her a 5 star simply because she must receive an incentive for it which is why I assume she was so fixed on me not giving her anything other than 5 stars. The Finance person was about as cold a person as you could meet. He seems annoyed I didn’t want to exceed my 50k budget. Apparently 50k isn’t a large enough purchase to earn a friendly smile or a stitch of small talk. Or maybe that’s is just the vibe here as I also overhead the sales person sitting next to mine being unfriendly on the phone w his customer. All and all it was just a blah experience. Sales associate was responsive when I asked a few questions over Email and was kind to my kids. I think I’ve had a better experience purchasing a car 1/2 the price. My fingers are really crossed the service department is top notch.

ORIGINAL REVIEW 10/12/22:
First time bringing my 2018 c300 in for service and quite disappointed! First of all, when I scheduled my service weeks in advance, I asked for a loaner car and was told “no problem”. Brought in for the scheduled A service, which is oil change, tire rotation and check things out for wear. Arrived at 7am. When I asked for loaner, they said they didn’t have any. They called me an Uber to get home. I was bummed I didn’t have loaner but it was cool they took care of Uber for me. Later that morning I got a text saying that the car was looked at and it needed a battery. I approved the service via the link on my phone.
Here’s where the frustration began. I tried to call to confirm they received my response and to find out when it would be ready. It me 3 times to get someone. Finally, I talked to a receptionist that confirmed they got the response and should be ready the next morning.
Next morning I called to see if ready. Could not reach anyone. I kept calling. I texted my “service advisor” Multiple times with no response. I just wanted to get the ETA for when I could get my car. Called and left voicemails for my advisor. No reply. All day I called and could not reach anyone who knew anything about my car.
At 4:30pm, I Finally got a receptionist in sales on the phone. Was put on hold for 20 minutes.
She confirmed that my car would be ready at 5pm.
I arrived at 5:30pm. Tried to check out but my “paperwork” wasn’t printed out. Waited in a chair for 10 minutes for front desk person to find my advisor. Advisor appeared. I Paid, got my car and left.
Communication needs a lot of improvement. Simple courtesy calls go a long way. I hope next time is smoother. I prepaid my maintenance so I have to return. Hoping this was just a fluke.

Can’t get a phone call back when you have an issue with service. Exceptional job when your being sold the vehicle but if you have a problem and brought it in couldn’t find anything wrong. Took a video of the issue and requested a call back and nothing. Asked for service manager no call back and than put to voicemail. Customer service seriously lacking.
Edit: Had to return for an issue with my tire . Brandi gave exceptional customer service and took care of me and my vehicle on last minute notice and in a precise timing. Extremely grateful

I had a flat tire in the middle of the highway with my 19 month old in the car. I called the Scarborough Mercedes’ dealership and David in parts was able to get the tire ordered and I was able to get it replaced the following day. David went the extra mile to look up the type of tire it was by searching the exact car I purchased from the dealership it was purchased from. Without his help, I am not sure what I would have done since the other dealership in the state was unwilling to get the tire done that quickly. The experience was excellent from start to finish!!

Mercedes Benz of Scarborough went above and beyond - like they usually do! I was stranded with a blown tire 🛞 on the interstate and Mercedes roadside assist was not available. The team at MBS sent a service representative Justin, to switch my tire and followed me to the dealership. They put on a new tire - AND ran a service check on my fluids, washed my car and took 5 star care of me. I highly recommend this team - I am never disappointed with their customer service.

Another service completed at 35000 miles. Also had emissions campaign completed. The work was completed when I was told it would be. Scott and the team did well updating me as work progressed. Also pointing out some items the may require attention in the near future.
Service appointment to have airbag recall done. Happy to see measures being taken to protect customers and employees. Was told approximately 1 1/2 hours completed on time. Always happy with prime motors service department.

My family had an extra vehicle we did not need anymore in southern Maine. Instead of shipping it back to Florida we decided to take it to Mercedes Benz Scarborough to see if they were interested in purchasing it. We connected with Spencer Roe in sales and explained our situation to him. Spencer greeted us warmly, was extremely courteous, professional and most importantly got right down to business on helping us unload the car. Within 20 minutes we got a great offer, the paperwork was completed and we were on our way. It was a lot easier to make an appointment and obtain service with Mercedes Benz of Scarborough than the prior owner. They were rapid in diagnosing the problem and had to wait for parts to come in. I was kept informed of the status and was notified when the parts came in. Their repairs were made within two days of the parts arriving. The overall time was from July 8 until August 3 when we picked up the vehicle. The vehicle is a Mercedes sprinter based RV with a diesel engine.

It seems as though since the change in ownership, that loaners are hard to get. My husband and I have always found it helpful to slide into a loaner for the day, this also helps in advertising for the company. Mohamed managed to find one for me on my last visit in. This was relieving as It is hard to put your busy life on hold and not have transportation for several hours… please make loaners more accessible again!

Great service. For over 2 years Mohammed has taken care of my cars and sees that I understand the work needed and performed. I appreciate the loaner. I live 85 miles north and It would have been a long day in the lobby. Everyone at the counter is respectful and kind. My only gripe is when I bought my car I was sold by the sales team a dent and ding package. It covers very little and I will be seeking a refund.

Nick is an unusually competent and accommodating service manager. I've owned Mercedes-Benz automobiles since 1975 and have experienced service from dealerships across the country; Nick is unique and ends up being the face of Mercedes Benz corporation for us, like all the other service agents in the Mercedes-Benz dealer network are for all the other customers. Bad service can and does ruin the experience of owning one of these machines. Hopefully Prime Motor Cars realizes his value - he is the main reason we bought our C Class from Prime a year ago, and the only reason we bring our cars to Prime Motor Cars for service. Always explains any issues, always willing to listen and try to meet our schedule. Can't say enough about how helpful Nick has been, and besides all that he's a nice guy.

I needed a little adjustment to the hood of our RV and called for an appointment. Upon arrival I had asked if possible to get an inspection sticker do e while here. I had noticed is was overdue by a month. The brought the RV into the shop, and checked about the sticker getting done . Moments later the Service manager came and said they would take it in as soon as possible. There was a slight delay, due to all tech’s were already busy. They got the job done in short time, and I on my way again. I find the personal are friendly and thoughtful to the customers needs. It has been a pleasure working with them and will only take our RV there for any work on the Mercedes vehicle. They are top notch.

I was visiting family in Maine from North Carolina and my check engine light came on in my Mercedes CLS550. This happened on a Friday afternoon and I was needing to driving back home to NC that Sunday. The service center was fully booked through the weekend, but Adam made sure I was taken care of! I brought my car in on that Friday and it was fixed by Saturday morning without interruption to my travel plans. Adam and the technician who worked on my car had the repairs done that Friday evening by staying late to ensure I was cared for! Adam called and shared the good news relieving the stress of car issues and a 13 hour drive ahead of me. I appreciate the care for my situation and service I received. The technician who did the repairs ensured I made it the drive back to NC safely. Adam called today to make sure I got home to NC and to follow up on the repairs. The quality, service, and accommodation demonstrates the care for customers, reliability, and drive to exceed expectations! Thank you Adam, the technician, and Prime Motor Cars. You all went above and beyond and if I lived in Maine I would always have my car serviced with you and would want to purchase my next vehicle from your dealership because of my experience.

Our appointment was for our Airstream Interstate camper. The problem was a restricted hot water system with very low flow. Primary suspect was the H/W mixing valve was clogged (this turned out to be true). However, the required part was not available (on back-order from Airstream), so they weren't able to complete that repair. I drove 105 miles each way to bring the camper there and had to stay overnight, so I was quite disappointed about that. Knowing the part wasn't available, I wish they would have rescheduled the appointment for when they'd be sure to be able to complete the repair.
The other work was to complete the Mercedes emissions factory recall, and they did a very good job with that (as far as I can tell). I hadn't been aware of that, and Scott explained the whole thing to me when we made the service appointment. I was very happy with how they handled that. Plus we got a software update that improved some of the dash display features, and a nice clean freshly washed vehicle.

Nicholas was flawless in handling a difficult situation. My house guest’s GLC300 warning light came on. It was Saturday and she lives in FL. When she called for an appointment, the receptionist relayed the info she had; no appointment today or next week and no loaner. I’m a customer so I called back and she suggested I talk to Nicolas. He was understaffed and would have squared her in on Saturday. We agreed on 10 AM Monday. We brought the vehicle in together. Nicholas made contact and within a short time completed the service.

I had received a call Tuesday morning from Prime, the gal asked me for the VIN to make sure they had the correct part. Yes, we have it here in stock. See you tomorrow.
Sam asked if I was waiting and I said yes. No mention of a loaner during any of my conversations with Prime. Off he went.
I sat in the waiting area over 3 hours with not a peep from Sam. I finally went up to Reception and inquired about my car. She went to find Sam. Another 20 min went by nothing. Sam came out to speak to a couple that had recently arrived. He did not acknowledge me so I went over to him when he was walking away. I inqiired about my car. He said he would find out. A few minutes later he motioned me into his office.
He turned the screen toward me and started to explain what the technician found. I looked at him and asked if strut had been replaced. No, it hasn't. We need to order the part. I let him know, again, the gal called me and the part was here for my car. He asked who called me. I didn't get her name, maybe someone in Parts Dept. As for the work that needs to be done, I had this list from my mechanic that went over the entire vehicle when I purchased it a few weeks prior. Hence, why I made the appt.
Lack of communication, miscommunication. Yes it happens. But now at the 4 hour mark, my car had been sitting right outside the window where I was waiting. How long? Who knows. Then to be charged $171.00 plus tax for a list of what was needed and a car wash. I was not impressed.

Adam in service is great to deal with! They ended up having to keep my car for two weeks because of an unexpected repair and a part that had to come from germany. They would’ve gotten a higher score but I DID NOT like being informed via email as to all that my vehicle needed and then that was how i was supposed to pick what I wanted to do without speaking to someone.
I have no problem with technology. But when the work would’ve totaled up to $11,000.00 in repairs (estimated) I really think I should be speaking with a person who can answer questions.
On the upside the work was done in a very timely manner which is greatly appreciated due to it being a work vehicle.

I am nearly four years slow in publishing this review. I am from upstate NY which is a long distance from the Scarborough, Maine dealership. While heading out on a vacation, I ruined both the tire and the wheel on my Metris. I called the dealership on the phone from my hotel and they got me in early the next day for repairs as I was running the spare. The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, the service staff treated myself and my wife with the utmost respect and there was a great selection of coffee and snacks. I highly recommend this dealership and would be pursuing my next trade-in with these folks if I lived several hundred miles closer to the dealership. I respect them greatly as the fact I was a stranger and had not dealt with them did not matter in terms of the fairness and care with the way my issue was dealt with.

A little miffed to say the least when I had to get an engine vent valve replaced in a vehicle with just 60k miles. A part typically wearing out in Mercedes vehicles, that should have been redesigned 10-20 years ago!
And while it took a little longer than expected my Prime Motor service advisor set me up with a loaner vehicle, warned me that it might take longer than expected and Really Came Through going to bat for me to get a cost reduction on the part itself.
My vehicle is a 2016 Metris, which if you do not know is the largest-small size work van available. I carry nearly 1200lbs of tools and supplies daily for my property management/caretaker/handyman business. As such, I can not afford to be without my vehicle.
In short I am thankful for the attention, the service, and the professionalism I receive at my Scarborough Prime Motors Mercedes - Benz, almost as much as I appreciate what my little-big Metris van does for me.
If anyone cares to know I wish held out for (during purchase) for dual side doors in my cargo version, and I could really use the blind spot sensors. So far the only gripe I have with this amazing van (besides the above mentioned part) is I wish it had larger wheels and beefier springs, but I must say, even fully loaded it handles the highway Great at full speed. Just know that it comes aligned empty, so if your like me and you carry a load, get an alignment ASAP or like me you’ll burn through the first couple set of tires before it dawns on you.

On our first day of vacation in Kennebunkport we experienced issues with our newer Metris van. We were coming up from Connecticut after a 3.5 hour drive so having vehicle issues in the last hour of the trip was certainly unnerving. Once in the area we called up around 2pm and we brought the van in around 3pm. Was out and back on road 430ish. Luckily the van was ok and we found out our oil change was overfill with oil which lead to our engine issues. So it was not a Mercedes mechanical issue or damage etc. Cant say enough about how appreciative we are that Primes staff, believe the primary contact representatives name was Scott, accommodated us and seemed to do all they could to get us back on the road again. If we lived in the area they would most certainly be the only place we have our Mercedes brought to in the future. In February of 2016, I bought a used 2003 Mercedes 240 C Class from Jerry Lynde at Prime Motors Mercedes. He was great and I thought I got this vehicle at a very fair price. Then in November 2016, I brought in my Mercedes for transmission problems and sadly expected to learn that my vehicle was either beyond repair or that the repair bill would be astronomical. At first, I received an initial assessment from Prime that confirmed these fears, and I went on my way ready to write this off as an unfortunate life experience. Then a few days later, I received a surprising phone call from Prime Motors Service Manager, Brandi Lawler expressing great concern with my plight and asking me to bring my vehicle back in to reassess this situation. Over the next week or so Brandi had my Mercedes transmission taken apart and reassessed. She discovered that my vehicle needed less major repair, which she had done for me at no cost. During this time, she also provided me a new Mercedes as a free loaner that was much more valuable than my car. She even apologized to me when Prime needed a few more days for this repair. I cannot excuse the behavior of the 3 employees who treated me poorly that caused my 1 star review HOWEVER, the service manager, Brandi, gave me 5 star treatment and gave my car the service it should have had the first time around. She really was wonderful and apologized several times for what I had to go through just to get this annual maintenance done on my Smart Car. So, I will leave my old review but tell you that if you need something done for your Smart Car, ask for Brandi, as she will treat you with kindness and respect.

I feel I need to preface this by saying I own a SMART CAR, not a standard Mercedes. The reason this is important, is that apparently, if you own or are looking to own a Mercedes, this is the place to go. If you own a Smart Car, stay away from here, because they will treat you as second rate for your ENTIRE experience.
I was told several times that I would receive calls about information I had inquired about regarding the annual maintenance done for my battery assurance program on the Smart Car and several times, I had to call them back because my inquiry was not responded to. I was told a call would be made to me to arrange a time to return my vehicle and instead, my husband was woken up by the car being dropped off. The inspection they did has NO paperwork and the message on my dashboard still shows that annual maintenance is required on the vehicle.
I didn't originally feel it was worth my time to write a bad review, but it seems that nothing but horrible customer service has been dealt to me, simply because I am not a rich Mercedes owner. My car is a Smart car and I do not have any option of where I can take it for the annual maintenance, as Smart requires that only an AUTHORIZED DEALER can handle this, and there are no locations in New Hampshire, where I live.
I really don't think my level of frustration is going to come across in this review, as I am a customer service representative myself and the level of service I have received here is appalling to me. EVERY TIME I CALL they act as if it is a waste of their time to have to speak with me. If one person was able to answer my question the FIRST time I called, I would not need to keep calling them back!
At this point, the annual maintenance they just did needs to be fixed so it's no longer showing on my car that it wasn't done- and I need paperwork showing what they even did- and I can't even bring myself to call them because I'm so angry that I don't know how to get my point across without yelling.
If you have a Smart Car, go somewhere else. You'll just be an inconvenience to them here.

We thought we were out of luck when our Roadtrek RV (built on a Mercedes Sprinter) broke down - the place we were initially towed to couldn’t help us, and the nearby Mercedes dealer wouldn’t take us. Then we were towed to Prime and I’m so glad we were! Not only did they fix everything in less than 24 hours, it was all covered under warranty and Tony also noticed that there was a recall for our airbags so he had those replaced as well. AND they gave our van a wash, so it was fixed and sparkling when we came to pick it up! Tony made sure to call us early enough to prevent us from having to book another night at the hotel which was so appreciated. Any time we’re in New England and need service we will happily go to Prime.

I've purchased a lot of cars and, where I work, I've helped others as well. Buying a used Mercedes at Prime was the best car shopping experience I have had. Almost all of the negotiating was done online or over the phone as I refuse to enter a dealership unless I have a pretty good idea of the price of the car, the value of my trade in, and how things will go. My total time at the dealership purchasing this car was under an hour.
Art was nothing less then excellent in the delivery of this car. He asked for pictures of my trade so that he could have it desktop valued, he was aware that I knew the value of my trade in and we specifically discussed what I expected to get for my car. He also respected that I would not come to the dealership or get into painful negotiations over the last $1,000 on the table.
The car is wonderful and, along with the dealership, has met all my expectations.

Last week I became the proud owner of a 2014 CPO E250 BlueTec sedan. It is gorgeous and a dream to drive. It was the fourth CPO Mercedes I've bought from Prime since the mid-1990s. My experience with all the cars, this dealer, and its service department has been exemplary but this recent experience was particularly nice. My original plan that day was to get a "check engine" light sorted out before my warranty expired. Since it was a last minute appointment, I did not arrange a loaner and had time to wander through the Prime "playground" while my car was serviced. Eventually, I began to talk with Sandy in the Sales Department. Several test drives followed. She offered no pressure and answered my questions with understandable information and asked others that helped me think about the next car I might like to buy someday. Well, that day arrived in a matter of minutes after she suggested that I try out one more option, which proved to be irresistible. Sandy and the entire sales team deftly guided me through an on-the-spot purchase process, which included a generous trade-in allowance for my well-used vehicle and attractive financing options. I drove my new car home the same day. Two days later, I came back with the title and accessories related to my previous car and asked Sandy if I could schedule a tutorial with her to help me understand all of the new technology and unfamiliar features on my new car. We switched from owning a BMW two years ago when we leased our first Mercedes at Prime Motor Cars. The difference in service and professionalism at Prime Motor Cars, as well as the outstanding performance of our Mercedes vehicle, caused us to continue leasing with Prime Motor Cars at the end of our lease. In fact, we switched from the C-class to the E-class Mercedes, and continue to be impressed by features on our new car that are absolute, pure luxury!!
Our salesperson, Roger Gamblin, was courteous and professional. We felt we were his only customer, taking the time to answer our many questions and concerns. Prior to our appointment with him, he gathered information about our family's needs and "must-haves," and remembered details we had given him two years prior about our preferences and needs. He had a car he felt would best meet our budget and requirements when we met for our appointment. He was absolutely correct in his selection for us, and we are thrilled with our new vehicle. The whole process was relaxed, no pressure, and enjoyable. In fact, our 10 year old daughter felt like royalty, being asked her opinion and given hot chocolate and snacks. :-)
Beyond the performance of our car and the professionalism provided, the people at Prime are REAL people. We needed service on our first lease and had difficulty with our schedule due to my mother in law becoming ill and subsequently dying. Our salesperson, Roger Gamblin, sent us a loaner vehicle while our car was being serviced and the driver presented from Roger flowers, chocolates and a card signed by several at the dealership expressing their condolences regarding our recent loss. We were so touched by this human gesture of kindness and compassion.
With all of the above in mind, we will continue to be loyal customers to Prime Motor Cars.

This is a costly, complicated machine! I did my part to learn all I can about the systems, and when several annoying defects seemed unsolvable, the dynamic duo of advisor Tony and technician Mitchell patiently and thoroughly solved the problems. In fact, Mitchell regularly takes the time to give me any practice/education I need on how to get the most out of the vehicle. Now I could sit here & tell you about all the things that they did right & the things they did well -OR- I could simplify it by telling you about the things they didn’t do well. If we were going with the latter of the two options, I would tell you that there isn’t any area of my experience with them that was unenjoyable.
I don’t believe that a rating should be based on the answers you (as a customer) receive. The fact of the matter is that there are some things that are just simply beyond their control. Hell, I got a few answers that I didn’t care for, but if you consider the human aspect of my dealings with them, I would have to say that I was quite pleased with my experience. They are so knowledgeable & professional that they put many other establishments to shame. As I said, a rating shouldn’t be determined on the answers you receive, it should be based on the level of professionalism that you receive.
I had an EXTREMELY poor experience with the dealership (NOT Prime Mercedes) that I purchased my E350 from, but when I showed up to Prime Mercedes in Scarborough, I was immediately greeted with an out of this world warm welcome. I hear all the time how one business or another treated their customers “like family”, but I’ve never experienced that. With the people here at Prime Mercedes, I felt so welcomed that it was damn near disappointing when my business with them drew to an end.
Tom (in service) is a young guy who takes his job seriously & who’s good at what he does. He welcomes you & walks you through every step of the plan that they have with your vehicle. He treated me like family, better than the best waiter that you’ve ever had at your favorite restaurant. Simply said; Tom (in service) cares about you as a person & he wants for your experience with them (there at Prime Mercedes) to be the best that you’ve ever had. He’s kind, professional & knowledgeable. You can tell that he wants you to be comfortable with leaving your car with them & when you’re done speaking with him, you know that he is someone that you can trust & count on. WAKE UP Prime Mercedes & give this guy a promotion. He deserves it...!!!
Brandi Lawler (Service Director) is so good at her job that I wonder why she even bothered to speak with me at all. I say this because when you get to be as knowledgeable & professional as she is, it’s time to move up the ladder. I had an issue with the vehicle I purchased (from a different dealership) where the rims on my E350 weren’t the AMG rims that they advertised as what was coming with my vehicle as part of the “sport package”. Within about 3 minutes, she was able to figure out that the original owners of my vehicle had swapped them out for the rims that are currently on it, a few years back. Even the dealership where I purchased the car from couldn’t tell me why the AMG rims weren’t on it or when they got swapped out. That in itself, was mind-blowingly impressive. In my opinion, Brandi is like a work of art: You can tell that she has worked hard on perfecting her professional obligations to the point that she’s made a career out of what she does for the service team there at Prime Mercedes in Scarborough. Somebody needs to thank her for being so AWESOME & she definitely needs to be recognized for what an asset she truly is.

I've been to multiple dealerships searching for the right car for nearly half a year. I finally found the right one here at Prime and had a great experience with Sandy purchasing it. The thing that puts Prime Mercedes OVER the 5 star mark is that they still continue to put as much care and attention to you and your car after you have paid the deposit. I've had my car for a year now, 13,000 miles in. I went in for an oil change at 10K and Mohammed gave me a tour of the facility to let me see where my car would be serviced. On a different occasion I asked for security locks on my tires and Sandy personally came to my office to pick up my car and drop it off after the installation. I am floored by how well they treat me here every time I visit, and how much each associate cares. 10/10, would be a Prime Mercedes customer for life.

I had problems with vibration in the vehicle dealer Road balanced all the tires still had a vibration and can’t explain it? Dealer did recall in missions control update fuel economy went down to miles to the gallon. Mileage came back up after two tanks but to burn off is still more frequent.

I brought my daughter's 2008 Smart Car in for maintenance and though it was a longer drive to Prime, it was the nearest Smart service center for her. The service advisors, Katie who I had on 6/14 for initial visit and then Muhammad on 6/16 were very professional and informative with what work needed to be done, as well as pointing out other issues and the service advisors were attentative and accommodating. The technician was also very helpful with explaining what the car needed.

A trio of warning messages required a visit to our MB dealer in Saco, Maine. Rodent and other problems required a week in the shop and substitute transportation. Pretty grim outlook until Mohammed, the Service Manager, outlined the plan of attack and unknown causes that would be apparent only after some extensive disassembly. He was very helpful by providing updates and findings as problems were exposed as well as assuring us that, barring the unforeseen, we would not have to postpone our long road trip. He delivered. I contacted Prime motors, pricing a used mercedes and talked to Courtney. I almost didn’t even call on that car because I live in Texas and figured that shipping would cost too much. Courtney was soo darn nice and personable though that we talked several times by phone. He told me of a new 350 convertible they needed to get rid of. November with snow on the ground, they needed to move it. Long story short I actually not only bought my car from them but a brand new one. Bizarre because I was not looking for a new car, never saw it or even met Courtney in person. They checked out great through the BBB and Courtney couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful. My E350 convertible is all I expected it to be and then some. I have received several follow up calls and Courtney has talked me through everything on the phone that he would have done in person.
As you can imagine, I tried to buy from our local dealership but they couldn’t come close to Prime Motors price. I would definitely recommend Prime Motors to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, new or used.

I really really wanted to give this place 5 stats because it's a MB dealer. Being an MB owner comes with perks for being treated above and beyond when you visit for service. My experience wasn't the case really as I visited for a routine 40,000 mile service.
A part we needed wasn't ordered correctly so it wasn't installed and I wasn't going to stick around 4 days to get the right part in. The lady who was my contact wasn't on top of calling me back with updates or answers to questions I had...and She couldn't even remember who I was after I left and returned 5hrs later.
When they were done with my service and had washed the van (standard practice), the inside passenger side was all wet. The person washing the van had left the window down. Once it was noticed he put the window up but DIDN'T wipe or clean down the inside mess he made.
The needed service on the van was done right and to my liking thought. So for reliable service I'd say bring it in. But if you're looking for that little extra customer care be careful.

I am from from out of town and my E500 was leaking fluid from the rear end. I stopped in here to get it diagnosed after trying to get it diagnosed with the local independent Mercedes mechanic shop, (which was a disappointing and waste of my time experience). EVERYONE I came into contact with at Prime Motor Car was just WONDERFUL !! Karin was able to get my car looked at while I waited. The assigned tech, Chip, took me back to the lift and went over the problem with me. Elizabeth and Brian were more then professional in getting my car in and fixed after the parts needed came in. I needed to buy a van for my new business, but didn't know which one would be the best fit. I stopped by Prime and spoke with Roger, who I now know to be southern Maine's foremost expert on Sprinters. He let my partner and I take one out, and after the test drive, his follow-ups were professional, pressure-free, and infrequent. In other words, exactly what we wanted.
We bought our first Sprinter on Friday, June 20th, 2014. I ran into the dealership with less than no time to complete the purchase, and Roger sped my end of the paperwork through so I could travel to Ogunquit to perform a wedding ceremony. Just want to thank Prime Sprinter for the great sales service I received from Roger Gamblin. I started looking for a very particular Sprinter in late April, and found it at Prime. One month ago I took delivery of a new Mercedes E350 wagon to replace my 2002 E320 wagon that had 180,000 miles on it. It was running perfectly and I drove it to Minnesota to give to my daughter. The E350 with its advanced safety and driving aids is a dream to drive. It is does, however require some learning to be able to take advantage of all its features. I want to credit Sandy Tholl in sales for gently insisting I spend some time with her to get fully briefed on this fabulous car’s capabilities. After my initial instruction my wife and I drove it to western New York state. Because we were still in the break in period when you should avoid driving at the same speed we drove everything from super highways to country roads. (Set your GPS to the shortest possible route and you will see the countryside!) The vehicle is a joy to drive with or without the “Distronic” cruise control and its safety features. The latter is alleviates fatigue and increases the safety of operation, but the car is also a joy to drive with it off when you want to be in full charge of the drive. A final word, buying a car from Sandy and her colleagues was a pleasure, no pressure, no hurry, except a gentle reminder to come back for another hour or so of instruction and answering questions after we had driven the car on the trip mentioned above. We benefitted greatly from that.
