Also, the other dealerships I checked didn't seam to care about helping me. Josh and Jerry were amazing. They helped me find my new car and were so pleasant to work with. The entire team here was! Ian was our salesman and he really went above and beyond. With limited inventory, he ran all over looking for the exact vehicle we were looking for. He listened, made sure we were informed, and was never pushy. Once we decided we wanted to make a deal, we were introduced to Derrick in finance. He was great as well and very personable. He explained all of the details of what we were purchasing and went over extra options without being pushy. My husband and I felt very at ease with the whole car buying process.

I would like to give an excellent review to Kevin Berry at McCarty Honda. Approximately 5 months ago we started researching and reaching out nationwide for a midsized car. We decided on a Honda Accord for thier reliability, fuel economy and also because they were to the top midsized car for 2022 according to Car & Driver. I have also owned and still own several Honda's. From the initial contact with Kevin 5 months ago until the day of the sale his promptness (even on days off), extensive knowledge of Honda's, customer service and professionalism was above and beyond excellent. He was not a typical pushy salesman in any way. He was a very personable and wanted to sell us the vehicle we would love. We could of bought a white or black Accord months but was set on Lunar Silver Metalic that was worth the wait. He promptly sent us updates of the build status the whole time. Lastly, he was a man of his word and honored the price of the car which was the lowest price I could find nationwide without any hidden fees or packages. The expectations we had walking in the door at McLarty Honda were already high. I usually buy cars from folks I know from Heber Springs. They take care of me so well, I typically won’t try anyone new. My daughter was insisting that we go there. So we did. We were fortunate enough to get paired up Ed. Ed made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable during the whole process. He listened, asked questions and guided us through our experience. His demeanor was inviting, his attention to our needs was reassuring and his ability to confidently navigate our journey was clearly evident. After making the necessary decisions, we were introduced to the finance manager, Mr. Derrick Anderson. What a treat. His care for us went far beyond signing documents and relaying the customary information about our purchase options. He shared personal experiences and allowed to do the same. After discussing opportunities on coverage after the sale, he reached out to a someone that could make our experience even better. This gentleman, whose name I can’t recall, insisted on lowering our interest rate so that we could afford the highest level of coverage they offer. It was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. My daughter’s happiness is very important to me. McLarty Honda delivered to us absolutely way more than even imagined. I have been looking for that same car for over a month, but Mclarty honda had the best price all over the country. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Clean tidy efficient professional. Although three months ago the estimated cost for a scheduled maintenance activity was 1/3 more now. Maybe inflation? Air and cabin filter replacement cost should be parts only if already there getting other maintenance done. Don’t sell me on tire balance or alignment if the 2 year old tires on the car clearly show No abnormal wear.

I live in CT, but have been calling dealerships all over the country looking for a deal on the new Honda Civic. I spoke with Darrell Taylor and ultimately the price isn't worth me making the trip out, but it was much better from what I've been hearing elsewhere. Darrell was also SO much nicer than some of the other scumbag rude dealers I've spoken with. If you live in the area and need a car, give these guys a shot.

My only two disappointments with my experience at McLarty was that the vehicles originally come with a 100 year, 100,000 mile warranty. It wasn't until I was about to pay for the vehicle that I found out that, after the first owner trades the vehicle in, that warranty drops to 5 years or 60,000 miles. So I had to purchase an extended warranty, which wasn't cheap for people who are financing. Luckily, I wasn't. Secondly, there weren't any floormats for my vehicle. I asked if they could take the floormats out of another vehicle, and none of the cars like mine had floormats. In my humble opinion, this is a necessary item. On the upside, I did get the best price of the dealerships I searched with KBB used cars for sale, and I wasn't price-gouged. I also got a Carfax report for free. The salesperson went out of his way to pick me up at my house and drive me to the dealership. So, good customer service and if you're in the market for a fair priced vehicle, I do endorse this dealership. And no, I don't work there or have any other affiliation with this company. Btw, ask for Daryll. He'll get you the best price he can.

For about 3 months now, my wife and I have been praying for "the perfect car". In between that time frame we let 3 or 4 cars, that were great cars, slip away. My experience with McLarty Honda has been top notch from the moment I walked through the door. Right now, everyone is not only marking their vehicles up but they are also adding insanely expensive "dealer packages." Not only did this not happen to me, but I got my vehicle for lower then the MSRP. Mr. Ed Jacobs went above and beyond to get me the best deal. I got a quote from two other Honda dealers and one was $3,600 more, and the other was $5, 400 more because of the "add-ons." This is one of the many reasons I continue to get my vehicles at McLarty. I had a trade that Mr. Will Shirnes got me the best possible value for. He worked very hard to negotiate numbers and ended up getting me top dollar. Mr. Zach Jones was very knowledgeable on the interest rates and explained how to get the best interest rate for my vehicle. Mr. Jonathan Frazier was extremely helpful in finance. He not only got me an incredible deal on GAP insurance and a vehicle contract, but he also was able to get me an even better interest rate. I walked into McLarty knowing I was getting a great deal, but I left McLarty getting an INCREDIBLE deal. All four of these men were extremely helpful and worked hard to get me the vehicle I wanted. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, whether it be a new honda or a used vehicle, I highly recommend going to see Mr. Ed. You won't be disappointed.

I bought a 2018 Honda Civic new and that salesman at Mclarty Honda did give me a tour of the features and answered all questions but that was 2018. The customer service at intake is excellent; however, scheduling over the phone and getting out in a reasonable time can be frustrating. The last two times I booked LOF for vehicles I’ve waited over 3 hours, and I had to initiate updates and completion times. Granted, the second time there was additional work my vehicle was due for, and I approved it, but was not given the information I needed to anticipate the delay. My recommendation is to have a room/space for services that may make the wait more pleasant (for instance pedicure/manicure or massage chair, a cafe, a walking path, a play area for parents….something to pass the time that is not just sitting for multiple hours).

I first looked at pictures and videos on the dealership website and my daughter, Erica, actually shopped for the car for me on the lot. I have nothing negative to say about McLarty Honda. Believe me, I checked around on pricing for our new CR-V and McLarty beat everyone I checked with. The whole experience was awesome. Scott, our salesman, was very prompt, knowledgeable, and just made us feel very comfortable with such a big purchase. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for a relaxing experience. Great experience start to finish! **Unfortunatly the day after purchase the car I bought had issues. I called the service team and brought in today, Monday Oct 5. Initially I was made to feel like my problem didn’t exist after my hour ride to the dealership. Finally the issue replicated itself. I was told Honda couldn’t fix it and it would be sent to Toyota but I’d have to take it home until Thursday or Friday when they had time. My car however wouldn’t start again and so my car was towed to the Toyota dealership and my 8 month old and I were shuttled there, I was then told that Toyota would get me a loaner vehicle. When I got to McLarty Toyota nobody knew I was being sent and nobody had a car for me but instead told me to go to enterprise and deal with it myself. Thankfully McKenzie the extremely accommodating shuttler was the most helpful person I came across today from either McLarty dealership. I was upset after getting to Enterprise and finding out I was 13th in line and had a wait time of an hour and a half to get a car. All day long I felt like I was shoved off on the next person and not taken as a valued customer. McKenzie reached out to her manager and they finally set me up with a car so that I could be on time to go get my 3 year old from school. When I did get a car it only had about 1/4 of a tank of gas in it and having lived an hour and a half away I hate that I am having to spend so much on gas to fix a problem that should have been resolved before I even bought this vehicle. I did receive a call at the end of the day that my car is ready and already fixed which is more than I expected after today. I felt valued as a customer at the beginning and the end of my experience with McLarty but the in between has me feeling indifferent and I’m not sure if I would recommend them with the same enthusiasm as I did in my original post.

Edit: While my original experience was very unpleasant and extremely inconvenient. Today I received a phone call from a Mr Cates, who genuinely apologized and did his due diligence to make this experience better. I intend on giving McClarty another opportunity to ensure their service was simply having an off day. I gave one star simply as a reflection of how the service department was when we went, it took over 2 hours for an oil change, then I was charged not just for an oil change but for a tire rotation when I had not asked for it. My appointment was scheduled for 1:00 and we didn't get out of there until after 3:00. I had my husband walk around the parking lot and we could see that my vehicle was parked and they knew that we were waiting in-house. They tried to make up for it by providing a car wash, but the car wash was very lousy. Again this is only a reflection of the service department the rest of McClarty has been excellent in the past. But I will not be going back for my oil changes at McClarty.

He took my car to the back and when he come back he says “I have some good news and bad news for you”. Bad news you have an faulty oil Pan, and the good news is “we can fix it today”. Me being lost on how did this happen and I haven’t had my car for 6 months. At this point it on whomever I purchase the car from. Ethan contacted McClarty and told me would have to leave my car with them because it can’t be driven. He stayed on McClarty tail until they paid for the part to be fixed. Not the best experience. Took a used car 5 miles away to go get it inspected by a mechanic and I didn’t have enough gas to get back to the dealership. I had to have someone help me go get gas. They said they were sorry and forgot to fill it up more, but something that could have been avoided. Also, they almost sold me the wrong car when I was filling out the paperwork so we had to start over. And then I spent over 2 hours waiting to go to financing which they were just really busy they said. But it seemed like nothing was going right throughout the process. Nice people but a few mistakes that I think could have been avoided.

I had talked/texted or actually visited three different Honda dealerships. My proposed deal was to trade my 2013 Fit and 2018 Colorado truck for straight across for a 2021 CRV EX. They would get my two vehicle, I would get the CRV and walk out with no car payment. Oh, and I wanted some extras put on the Honda as well. And still be able to do an even deal. I talked to Madison on the phone. We set up a time for me to bring the truck in for appraisal. I took a lot of pictures of the Fit, but did not bring it on. And they agreed to my terms. With the extras I had requested. Madison was engaging, but not pushy. Fact is, no one was pushy. They simply listened and then worked to do the best they could to make me a happy return customer. The integrity of the McClarty dealerships going back to Hope AR with Tom and Frank McClarty when they sold my mom a LTD Ford station wagon 50 years ago continues in these new dealerships as well. I highly recommend this dealership - I highly recommend Madison. I already am a return Honda customer, but McClarty Honda won a return customer as well

Very good place to buy a vehicle. Easy process. No pressure. They will finance it through whoever you want. There are two things I don't like. #1 The detail done on the vehicle is not good #2 Every vehicle I have bought here has had the front door windows tinted by a third party. The front door windows, on the vehicle I just bought, were down in the showroom. I asked if they tinted, and I was told YES. They are not tinted.

After checking out multiple dealerships, I can say without a doubt McLarty Honda goes above and beyond all the rest. Jonathan Frazier gave me his undivided attention without being pushy or impatient, ever. I felt confident in my decision to purchase my Civic after learning so much about why Honda’s are leaders of the auto industry. Not only did he educate me on the pros and cons of multiple makes (which I researched on my own to make sure his info was worthy), he really took the time to meet me where I wanted to be with my offer and seal the deal, doing whatever it took to make sure I walked out feeling amazing and not just ‘eh’ with my purchase. I don’t know anything about these free carwashes though... he may have failed to mention a very important perk. Regardless, I highly recommend him if you want a very laid back car shopping experience.
