We came in for scheduled maintenance. The appointment process was easy and they Maya and the team took great care of us. We have been going to the dealership for maintenance ever since we got our RDX. We are very satisfied with our service and the free car wash after our service is a great touch. We waited for our service and walked to IHOP for breakfast. There is also Starbucks near by. But they do have some coffee, hot cocoa, tea and bottled water for customers. And the binary restroom facilities are clean.

Went in to have a rear brake light replaced. Not only was the light replaced, *at no charge,* but my car was vacuumed and washed. Have to ship it in 2 days and was saved a great deal of hassle. Much impressed and very thankful!

I was due for a full service on my RDX and the Acura team was able to get me in the same week. Everyone greeted us and were very helpful from beginning til end. We were able to use a loaner car while we waited for our vehicle to be serviced and Mya was just extremely helpful and very thorough. I could not have asked for a more patient and friendlier salesman! Milton at Acura of Honolulu was the sweetest! He really did his BEST to meet the needs and wants that I had in getting me into my brand spanking NEW 2020 Acura RDX! Closest thing to my DREAM Car! I really wanted the A-spec but that was clearly out of my range.
Staff there was super friendly as well, some of the guys even sat and watched the Lakers win this years Basketball Championship Game! Although she was a bit tired from the 6.5 hours that we spent there, I was glad that their facility was super clean, there was coffee, water, vending machines AND LOVELY AC which made the wait a little more bearable for myself and my Mom.
Unfortunately, my car needed to go back in the next day because it was having a little technical issue and they had no problem getting my car in early the next morning and putting me in another awesome loaner while they worked on my car.
No doubt, I would highly recommend going here! Hands down, this really was a great experience!

This is my second time servicing my MDX. Both times was quick and easy. I was immediately greeted by name upon arrival. My loaner car was pulled up to the front and ready to go. Frank was so helpful. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. He even installed my car seat base in the loaner car. SO HELPFUL! They even washed and vacuumed my car which was so nice because She needed a cleaning! The new service area has complementary water and coffee and the restrooms are so nice, spacious and clean WITH a changing table! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Paul F. and Joe F always take care of me. They make sure my car is okay as well as my family. Because of them, my sister is looking at purchasing the RDX. They keep me posted on the progress of my car and help me get a loaner car when available. The service of taking your patrons to their next destination and pick up back to the dealership is a wonderful one. This past service, I had to bring my car in ASAP (after work) since it was in "driving condition". Paul took it, wrote up the service order and the next day, had my car worked on and completed before lunch. This included the complimentary wash and vacuum. I didn't have an appointment. Thank you so much for taking care of me. If I ever move to the mainland, it will be hard to beat the kind of service and love that I receive at Honolulu Acura.

Brought my car in for a recall & safety check to Acura of Honolulu. They also provide a complimentary wash & vacuum. I was able to wait in the comfortable lounge where there was free bottled water, snacks & a cool coffee machine! It even made lattes! One thing I would recommend is having charging stations for cell phones. Overall I have to say that Larry & his team provided excellent & friendly service and I will definitely be back!

Great service, got a new tire due to a nail. Only issue I had... all 4 tires were different tire pressure. I had to go and add some air or let air out. Took me about 20 mins to do all 4 tires. Other than that, the service at Acura is awesome.

Its my first time at Acura as I was taking in my moms car. I must say Customer Service was on point at this place. Very quick with service as my moms passenger side rear had a nail inside. It took about 45 mins and they washed the car and vacuumed inside.

Things are done too on-line that the consumer has to be on top of it. I had scheduled my maintence servicing through Thomas Miyagi, Jr., but Service didn't have the appt. but they took me anyway since the wiper blades were to be replaced at n/c. I had requested printed copies of the two 400 page manuals through Thomas via e-mail, but I forgot about it, and they didn't have any record of it. The courtesy drop off and pick up was really a nice time to talk to other Acura owners and the driver.

My SO, and myself had a truly amazing experience with this company. I would recommend the team at Acura of Honolulu to anyone. Our sales consultant Bob (Robert Sarae) was amazing.
We were greeted warmly when we walked up, but not in a pushy sort of greet. Just an honest "Hello, how are you folks tonight". That honest, straight forward and considerate attitude really won us over.
I do not like being pressured to buy and am one of the most indecisive people you will ever meet. I also despise car shopping, and car salesmen. I can honestly say whole heartily Bob was the first one I really liked. He asked what we were looking for, and we were honest. We had no idea. We just wanted to prepare for a future and expand on space from my 2dr coupe. We knew we wanted leather seats, we knew we wanted white or silver, had to have a backup camera, and we knew we wanted something with trunk space.
Great start, right? Well Bob took it in stride.
He asked us more questions, like what had we looked at. What did we wanted out a vehicle (what was important vs what we were willing to wiggle with)? He asked if we preferred to lease or finance. This is where Bob really became a game changer for us. We had always financed. He took the time to explain leasing, and financing in great detail BEFORE we looked at vehicles. He explained the major benefits of BOTH, and the draw backs. He didn't try to pressure us into one deal or the other. He let us make the right decision for us.
We took a couple of cars out to test drive, each time he took the time to show ALL the features that were important to US. He took the time to explain how Acura's difference in drive train and steering due to their unique design. He didn't try to sell the car, he just pointed out what it had that we wanted in it. He let the car do the talking.
After we were finished driving, He found the best way to get rid of the car loan, and vehicle we currently had with saving me the most equity. Because I’m indecisive, after the first round of numbers I still wasn't convinced leasing a new car was for us. Bob never pushed us or made me feel bad for wanting to leave after his HOURS of work with us.
After coming back the following day and looking at yet a different vehicle Bob was never impatient or rude that we had changed our minds. He showed us the new car type and went over its features and during the test drive explained everything we needed all over again for us.
He even went over what running numbers on the same vehicle used vs new would look like, and how our payments would differ. Not once did he push us one way or the other simply added in his two sense on what the options were. He probably spent a total of 6-8 hours with us for the process between the two days. Not ever making us feel unwanted, or that we were using up too much of his time. He made us feel welcome, and comfortable the entire time.
While we completed the paperwork, He worked with finance to find us the best deals honoring me being a student, but also military appreciation! He explained everything in detail and took the time to go through each paper with us instead of just trying to get signatures.
BJ helped us through signing the paperwork and working out the financing and she does a fantastic job of explaining everything and answering all your questions about the contracts, and legality terms. I appreciated that she came out and greeted us before the process started, and it never felt like we were being shuffled from person to person.
After Bob stayed to help us set our phones, and key fobs, driver settings, and my navigation system. He took the time to explain in further detail features of the vehicle that weren't previously mentioned and ask if we had any questions. Because they didn't have a detail person available there on a Sunday. He offered for us to bring in the vehicle anytime the following week, and he would have it taken care of.
Bob and BJ you set a pretty epic standard for car sales. Thank you so much for all your help, and education through the process. We couldn't be happier.

I have had Frank Oros as my Acura service rep for many years. He and the Acura team have always taken great care of me and my car. I recently had to tow my car there when it died at work. They determined it was a corrosive battery connection. They recharged my battery, cleaned the cable, completed my safety inspection, washed my car, had their shuttle pick me up from work and I was back in my car in the afternoon. I wanted to share my recent experience at Acura of Honolulu and the purchase of my new 2018 ILX....
I previously owned an Acura Integra for six years that I purchased in 1989 as well as my 2011 TSX for over seven years and loved both cars! I decided to purchase another Acura because I have always had a great experience whenever I brought my car in for service and I never had any major issues during the time I owned both cars.
I want to share that Jacob Pokipala has been the most awesome service advisor!! He has gone above and beyond his job to help me with my loaners, fix my car and keep me happy while going through this experience. He communicates with me, returns my calls right away and follows up when needed to keep me in the loop. He has been pleasant, entertaining and calm throughout my gas tank ordeal and I feel so blessed to have been working with him! If he wasn't the person he is, I might not have made it successfully through this recall, which is an Acura error. I received EXCELLENT customer service from Jacob and he provided me constant reassurance that the car would be fixed asap. I am so grateful that Shane Yuen referred me to Jacob as my service advisor and I will always remember his kindness and patience while trying to help me get me beautiful new car back on the road! Jacob is a gem, top service advisor and amazing human being! Acura should feel blessed to have such a great employee who backs their organization up 100% and works hard to keep their customers happy and satisfied everyday.

We went in to check out the 2017 MDX and left with not only a great car but a great experience. Huey greeted us and answered all the questions we had, which was a lot, and was never pushy like a typical salesman usually is. He pointed out all the major features during the test drive and was really knowledgable about the car. While we worked the numbers and negotiated on the final price, again no push or pressure was involved, just straight talk and him going back and forth with his manager. Quick and convenient service. They informed me they would be giving me a quick complimentary wash and vacuum before the service, but when they were finished, I had to go and ask for it to be done. They give me the that complimentary service every time I go, but then they said they only give it to Acura vehicles specifically? Then why did you tell me I would be getting it before we started the servicing?
Anyway, I love their new service department, and the employees are courteous and helpful.

My service rep gave an overview of what to expect and a time frame for the service job. My car got a free wash and vacuum. The loaner was great (RDX) and was called after about 4 hours that my car was ready to be picked up. Best service treatment ever received!

From beginning to end, the salesperson, finance guy, and manager was approachable, very helpful, patient and not pushy. As potential customers, they made us feel welcomed and was willing to work with us. We went in to "window shop" and test drive, as we had put a deposit down for a car at a different dealership and was awaiting the order to arrive. Because of the Acura salesperson's persistence with numerous phone calls to follow up with our initial inquiry over a month prior, we decided to at least test drive and go check it out. We found it to be pretty cool that Mr. Kauwe continued to check in with us and our interest and his kind and caring attitude caused us to come in to check it out.
Well, we drove our first time new Acura home that afternoon and when people ask us, all we can say is, we had such a positive and pleasant experience buying a new car!!! The car is great, but the buying experience at the dealership was awesome!!! When and if we are needing anything in the future, we hope to contact Mr. Kauwe at Acura!

After much research, I begun my quest to buy a used Ford Edge and ended up at the lot of Acura of Honolulu to check one out. My daughter & I were greeted by a very polite, non-aggressive salesman. He picked up on what our needs would be in a car and gently suggested the Acura SUV. I had never experienced an Acura in my 40+ years of driving. We took a test drive and I was sold!! Jared did an excellent job in the entire process and without this salesman, I would have not found this great car for my family. In the financing department at Acura of HNL, Ben was also topnotch, and was I pleasantly surprised when Ben called to notify me that he had gotten an even better rate! Now that's due diligence. Two friends who had previous experience with Acura of Honolulu recommended I visit with Colin Sato. My wife and I met with Colin on a Saturday morning. He spent the next two hours listening to our desires and expectations, and fully explaining the design features and model options of the Acura TLX. We took test drives in two models and he further explained and showed us many features. We were very impressed with his level of knowledge of the product. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. It made it very easy to make a decision on which model to consider for purchase. We didn't purchase our car that day, we had intended to visit the Lexus and Audi dealers to check out their offerings. We decided later that evening that we had learned enough earlier that day about the TLX and we lost interest in checking out other cars. The entire purchase experience, start to finish, was exceptional. I highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing an Acura to meet with Colin. He is very friendly, courteous and professional. DON’T BUY ACURA: New Acura tranny is no good. It has many problems and Acura Manufacture won’t fix them or replace the tranny. They are very dangerous to drive because they cause the car to speed up suddenly. I also got in a car accident last night and emailed Acura Client Relations but they have not responded even though I told them that I use this car to transport my little children.
Acura told me that they don’t fix my tranny problems because these problems are characteristics of my model. So I asked to explain the problems of my tranny and put it in writing for me but Acura Client Relations said that they will not put anything in writing. I asked to transfer my warranty to another Auto shop that is not Acura so I can have a second opinion and they said that is not an option. I told them that is not fair for me because if I bring it to another Acura dealership, they still have to get approval from Acura Manufactory and I will end up getting the same answer and they said that that how it is and there is nothing that they can do to help.
