We had a fantastic experience purchasing a car at Luther Buick. This was the least stressful car purchase I’ve had. We worked with Evan, who was helpful, friendly, and made sure we left with the car we needed. The dealership went out of their way to work with us on our trade in, and was upfront and honest with costs. From start to finish the entire process took just four hours. We noticed a few chips in the windshield when we got home, and they are even fixing those for free as part of the purchase. I would definitely purchase from Luther again in the future!

On May 10th of 2022, your dealership sold me a 2014 Chevy that kept trowing a misfire engine code the day i bought it. Your Sales Manager, last name Wiest, cleared the code and said it was due to water on the coil. I had an out of town business trip that I took the truck on and by the time I returned to Fargo, I had already put on enough mileage that expired my limited warranty. Come to find out it was the MAF sensor and the #4 plug and wire which ended up costing me outta pocket to the tune of about $400.00. In the future, the only salesman I would allow to sell me a car in the future would be Thane Solberg as I know he would not allow for this to happen. I hope that now IA m posting to GOOGLE that I was given the runaround after returning from my business trip and getting nothing accomplished through your dealship, that maybe you will stand behind my warranty and at a minimum reimburse the money out of pocket and also fix this issue for good. If you get into the truck over 3500 RPM's, it continues to throw codes..... please contact me as your dealership has my contact information from my purchase of the vehicle. As stated, I hope you will fix the issue, or my next NEW vehicle purchase will be from a better reputable dealership! I also didn't receive my service vouchers nor my car wash card.

Luther was great to drive through in shop with the cold temperatures we didn't have to get out of our vehicle to see the prices and know what vehicles were in my price range. One of very few major car lots in the FM area that does so. I don't want to jump in and out of my care to scan a QR code to see the price of the car. Quick processing of paperwork by Tony. I highly recommend Luther Family GMC if you are in the market for a new or used car. Everyone is very helpful, very polite, a salesperson will be with you within a minute of walking in the door. The showroom is big and bright, very clean, with a nice waiting area for when you are having your vehicle serviced.
Our salesperson was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, gave us all the information we needed. We were very happy with our experience at Luther Family GMC, and will definitely go back there if we purchase another vehicle in the future.

Salesperson was pleasant, but I don't think he was very experienced. He seemed rather nervous. I had made an appointment for 1 pm Monday to pick up my suv. The suv was not cleaned. (The appointment set up on Thursday.) I was very disappointed in that. I left 2 messages for finance and never got a call back. I wanted to know what I needed to bring with me. I live 2 hours away. I didn't even get asked how much money I was going to put down for my purchase. I feel I was entitled to a return phone call and a clean suv. I did get 200.00 taken off the price. They did offer to deliver the suv cleaned the next day, but I didn't feel confident that they would be able to get that done. In short, I don't think I will go back there to purchase a vehicle. I will say everyone was pleasant and courteous. The building was clean and nice.

Besides the warranty waiting game paul was very nice. The only problem was when I got the car back one of the left driver air vents wasn't even clipped back in properly. Along with that the dash wasn't even fully placed back in with 2 clips not fully pushed in. Then I found another clip on the front dash passenger side that was completely bent out of place and near breaking off entirely.

I was originally told my recall repair would take 20-30 minutes. After an hour I had to text and ask. Oddly enough it was just getting finished. I have a feeling it had been done in the time allotted but the communication had failed in letting me know when it was done.

Big thanks to Evan the salesman, but also all the staff that took care of us there. We would like to note, that the Yukon we bought new , came from the factory, with paint blemishes. That should`ve been fixed or buffed before sending to the dealership. GMC needs to up their quality control on inspecting every vehicle that gets sent out to dealerships. I took my vehicle in for an oil/filter change and the 30,000 mile checkup. I was promptly greeted by a young lady and she directed me to the young man at the service desk. I got checked in, and also asked if I should have a transmission flush done on my car. The tech checked my transmission fluid and I was told it was good for now. The tech said to have it done at 60,000 miles. I chose to wait for my car. I had a snack and read my book. My appointment was done within an hour. Such pleasant staff! Our Daughter's Encore was dripping a week after an oil-change. They were able to work it in on short notice. Turns out it was just excess oil that settled on a front cradle. It shouldn't have happened, but Robin T. gave us a Free Oil-change coupon for our trouble!!

The staff was very attentive. Welcomed me almost immediately. It was my first oil change which they offered for free. They also rotated the tires for no charge and washed my vehicle and vacuumed it out. It did take about 1 hour 45 minutes so be prepared for that which is expected for all of this work. It was neat and clean and the waiting room was nice. There were beverages to drink if needed.

Scheduled a tire rotation that was mistakenly scheduled as an oil change. Had the advisor not mentioned something about me needing a tire rotation I have no doubt they would’ve changed the oil instead of rotating my tires. Tire rotation took about an hour and 20 minutes… which seems a bit excessive based on my time of service when I’ve had my tires rotated elsewhere in the past. I will need new tires soon and will most likely be looking elsewhere to purchase those, as I have had a couple bad experiences at Luther over the years now.

1. The buying experience was great. We worked with Nevin in sales. He was wonderful and would like to buy every future car from him.
2. Finance team. Not as impressed. We had our own financing which was fine and no one pressured us to use Luther for financing. However when trying to get a call back from this team, it is dang near impossible. We have been reaching out for 2 weeks. Calling the dealership, leaving voicemail, calling cell phone, texting. No response. Feeling like we are left out to dry and forgotten about.
We are second guessing our decision to buy from Luther if this is how the customer service is after buying with you.

I noticed a few things the next day that made me think it was not ready to be sold under the certified branding. Small dent in the hood and tailgate, odor in vehicle, scratch down to the metal on the driver side door, and a rock chip in the glass. I will wait for Luther to get back to me on 3 of the issues to see if anything that can be done. I would be 100% satisfied if there was a resolution to those.

I thought my transmission was acting up. Made an appointment with Rob Reierson and brought vehicle in. He and two others listened to it and thought it was the engine oil pump. They took it in and confirmed it was the engine oil pump. Rob worked with GM and came up with a nice resolution for me. Luther kept the vehicle. The tech stayed late to work on it and came in early the next day. Everything seems to work fine for now. I was very happy with Rob and the tech for the effort they put in for me. I was also happy GM took some responsibility since I just had it in for another expensive repair less then a month before. This pickup has low miles on it for the year 2015 (40,000 mile). I would expect GM puts parts in that last more then 40,000 mile. Overall I was pleased with Luther and GM other then having to dish out money for parts that should last longer.

I recently had my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. When I scheduled the appointment, I also let them know that Something was leaking because there was a large spot left in my driveway. The team diagnosed that the transmission oil coolant was leaking as well as the front struts. They called me with the results and Let me know that for the struts, they would need to order the part. I gave them the go ahead to fix the first issue and they ordered the struts and set me up with a new appointment when the parts came in. After they put the struts in, I picked up my car and knew that something wasn’t right. When I pulled out of the parking space the car made some obvious noise and there was slight noise as I drove it home. When I pulled into my driveway it made another loud squeak. I brought the car back to the service department immediately, but when I backed out of my driveway and the front end got to the bottom of the driveway, there was a very loud clank. The service tech took the car for a drive and decided that the struts on the passenger side was bad. They ordered a new part and again took the car in to do the repairs. Also between these two visits we noticed that the car now had an obvious shake at about 40-45 miles per hour. They picked the car up again when the new part came in, had the car taken apart and when they went to open the new strut, they discovered that that strut had also been damaged. So yet again I took my car home and waited for a new part. This time, they inspected the part before setting up an appointment to fix it. Everything looked good so they fixed it and sent me home again. However, the car still had the shake. I called and talked with Robb, he had me bring the car in and they balanced and rotated the tires, when I picked the car up, it was still shaking at the 40-45 mile per hour range. The service tech road with me and concurred that there was a shake. They looked at the car again and condemned two of the tires so I had to then bring the car to where the tires were out on. It was here that it was discovered that the axel shaft was bent which was the reason for the shake in the car. I kept in touch with Robb, he also took the time to talk with the tire place and I. The end, paid for the axel to be replaced. I now have a smoothie ride and an so grateful for Robb and his team. As persistent as I was that there was a problem, he continued to take the steps to make it right and get me back on the road.

Went in for my appointment for 4 tires that had been ordered and scheduled install a few days earlier. Who ever took the order didn't bother putting what tires I wanted on the appointment schedule nor did they bother ordering the tires from the distributor. So when we showed up the installers had no idea what tires I wanted. And since they were not ordered they did not have them on hand. Luckily the distributor was open still being a Saturday so someone could get them. ended up being over 4 hours just to get 4 tires and wheels installed.

I posted a 5 star review for Luther previously this week for a separate visit for my other vehicle. However with this vehicle, I am not at all satisfied. I have a ABS light on and asked them to check it out to see what was needed to fix it. They did not tell me what was wrong - why the light was on, did not mention it at all on the paperwork - nothing. I had signed up for a total vehicle inspection so I am very baffled as to why it would not be mentioned at all as it IS something wrong with the vehicle. They did tell me that it needed a new battery, which was new this spring so that's another "hmmm" item. I have taken a variety of vehicles here and have been satisfied every other time, but on this visit Luther fell very very short.

Got a bolt in my tire...Saturday late P.M....called service dept...spoke with Jerron, he advised to get it to dealership so we can have it looked at but won't be able to repair until Monday following. After arriving, and looking at the situation, I spoke with Jerron about replacing all 4 tires as the tread wear was down on current tires, although there was only 18000 miles on them. Turns out they were a soft tire from factory with expectancy of 40K miles life. They had been on 2 years, though miles were few, they were almost 3/4 way worn out. With help of parts mgr., and assistance of Paul McDonald - Service Rep - I ended up purchasing 4 new tires. After price checking over the weekend with other establishments in town, and comparing with Tire Rack and Fleet Farm, decided to go with Luther service dept. Paul was informed at 9:00 A.M. Monday of my decision, and by 2:30 P.M. Monday the vehicle was back in my hands. Superior work and effort towards customer satisfaction was done by all...Jerron, Paul, and Parts Mgr. I was hoping to have the car dropped off by 7 so I could get to work. Consider starting first appointment at 7:15 am. They did a good job on the car, but not very friendly people there at all.

The comfortable waiting room and play area for children makes the wait for diagnosis and repair much more tolerable, as we live an hour away. Right before a long trip to visit family over the 4th of July, we had a sensor go out on our barely broke in 2018 Chevy Silverado Duramax. The bad sensor disabled the truck from driving after a short period of time so there was no way we could drive the vehicle, let alone take it on a road trip. The kicker was that the sensor we needed was on back order for weeks.
Paul at Luther in the service department searched everywhere for the part for us and was able to locate the part.

I dropped off my vehicle with no problem. Then it change . I received a text message that my vehicle was ready for pick up. I texted back I did need a ride asap. I was given the choice to call or text. Half an hour later, I called to verify I would be getting a ride. I was told a courtesy car was on the way but my name would still go on the board for pick up. An hour later I was given ride to the dealership by a co-worker. I received a call from the courtesy driver he was on his way, I told him I was standing at the cashier counter (this was approximately an hour and a half from when I texted for a ride). I had to have my bill adjusted since I was charged for the tire rotation, I bought my tires at the dealership. And I wasnt given a new sticker alerting me when to change the oil. I've never had this type of experience before. I gave 3 stars because the cashier was very friendly and gave me information about the online payment app.

There was one small minor issue with a seatbelt shortly after, and Luther stepped up and fixed it right away with no hassle at all to us!
I purchased a new Cadillac XT4 in February 2019 from our previous dealership. I had always wanted a brand new Cadillac, I was super happy at first! But, the car got LOUSY gas mileage, nowhere close to what Cadillac stated. In addition, it also did not "ride like a Cadillac". So, I decided to call our salesperson (Samantha) at Luther and see what Buick offered! I traded my 2019 Cadillac XT4 in on a new 2021 Buick Encore GX ST. I LOVE my new Buick! The styling is great, the fit and finish are better than all others in the class, AND the price is AMAZING, especially compared to my Cadillac! Best of all, the Buick rides so nicely!!!!!
Now, I would say my Buick rides better than my Cadillac, but that's not necessarily a compliment nowadays! So, I will simply say, the Buick is a better choice for us!

I am a person who likes to deal with vehicles, with the best price setting that they have at this dealer is in short saying that if you don’t buy this car at this price someone else will. I personally don’t find their mentality at this dealership very appealing due to that fact and cannot see myself every buying from there due to the frustration that is associated with best price. I know that most to all dealers have this best price “gimmick”, but usually will leeway from it when pushed. Not this place, they have a set price that which in turn will not budge from it. Even if a person brings in cash for a purchase which gives a lot less paperwork, they still will not veer away from their set price. Due to this experience I am unable to give an excellent rating and give them good at best which is unfortunate due to I am very partial to GMC. I now only shop at the Fergus Falls GMC in which they truly value the customer on all aspects of satisfaction.

My vehicle was reapaired in a timely manner and I am satisified with the repair. However, when entering my vehicle to drive back to work I noticed potato chip pieces on the floormat on the passenger side of my car. Had I not been in a hurry to return to my office for a meeting, I most certainly would have shown this to someone in your service department. I spoke with Tim yesterday afternoon about this and he did apologize. Tim said that vehicles are supposed to leave your shop better than when they came in and unfortunately, mine did not. It would have been nice if "someone' would not have snacked while working on my Vibe.

I had my vehicle in the shop in March for service and mentioned an issue that apparently never got noted on their records and even mentioned it when I brought it in. Long story short I ended up taking my vehicle back in to the shop in April for another issue and they finally checked out the issue I had mentioned the previous month. I’m starting to second guess taking my vehicle in for service because the last three times I’ve taken my vehicle in I end up taking it back either the next day or barely a month later.
