I have purchased an RV from this store several years ago and as of today, they have been extremely courteous and helpful at all times when there was a need to repairs or updates to our motor home. This is a great store to visit if you’re looking into purchasing RVs as they have a large selection of motor homes and fifth wheel trailer homes that gives variety for customers. The store also has items and accessories for purchase and their service department is excellent. I recommend others to come visit this place.

Nick Toenjes was our salesperson. Met him first time at a walk in, our first time physically looking at RVs. He asked the right questions on our wishes and must haves, to select a few on the lot for us to tour. Nick was knowledgeable of the RV amenities, engines, towing capacity, seat belts, prices, and expected costs to operate an RV, basically a knowledge pit. He is a casual guy, not the hard sell type, and if he hadn’t we would have walked out the door quickly. We are deciding on an RV, and while Nick negotiated with his boss for some great deals, and I mean really great deals, but not purchasing one until some issues with me are medically handled. I strongly recommend Nick T for anyone looking to purchase an RV, and we plan to buy from him in Colorado even though we live in Iowa, because he is such a great guy. “General Bob”

Bobby, you are the man. Let me start off by saying that my experience with Camping World started off shakey to say the least. When I purchased my RV from Camping World of Tulsa, we had some issues. I was purchasing a brand new RV, and bringing it back to Denver. As I expected, it had a few issues with it, but nothing that was game changing. On the way home we stopped and camped for one night and ran through what might be issues. We found a few and needed them resolved quickly. As this was a new Purchase, I expected it to get in and out for minor repairs quickly. I was told that they could not schedule me for at least a month. Tulsa was no help, and the corporate office was less help. Mind you, our sales person told us, and I quote "You will find that the real value of Camping World is the service after the sale". As a last resort, I went into Camping World here in Golden, to try and bring this issue to any kind of resolution before telling Camping World that I was taking my business elsewhere and returning my expensive RV. This is when I met Bobby. I wish I had gotten his last name. Bobby works at the service desk for the Camping World in Golden. Bobby was very real about the situation as they are very busy. That being said, he worked with me, and told me that if I could leave it with him for just a bit (about a week and a half), that he would do his best to fit it in. Still no promises. I got a call 4 days later that they had finished the minor repairs, and that I could come pick it up. I went to grab the trailer the following Tuesday and Bobby was there waiting for me, keys in hand. Bobby is the example of why every person in a company is a representation of that brand. Every interaction with a customer can be the difference in doing great business and a massive disaster. Hats off to Bobby for representing his brand at such a high level. Knowing that there are lots of people behind him that made this happen, I take my hat off to you too. Thank you from me and my family for turning a terrible experience into a great outcome. Your company owes you big.

My husband and I had looked at motor homes for at least a year. I watched Camping Worlds website checking out used class c motor homes. We stopped by the Golden Camping World to walk around and try to find one that I had seen on their web site. While we were walking around Andrew Wutke came up to us and asked if he could help. He got a riding cart and drove all over the lot and found the one I had seen. He was not high pressure in anyway. He was truly interested in our wants and needs. We called back and put a deposit on the 2012 Jayco Greyhawk. We were set up with Fianance Manager Stephen Conley. Such a smooth transaction with Stephen answering all our questions. He is a true professional.! There were a few issues with items that were repaired in our motor home before picking it up. When we waited for our walk through we meet John in your store. He was so very friendly and helpful making suggestions and answering questions. Lonnie Fast the service advisor explained a few things about our motor home. Thank you for your time Lonnie. We understand even in the winter how busy you all are! Thank you Josh for helping us with the TV issue! One thing I have learned is that the Golden Camping World has wonderful people working for them. Also the need of the buyer to be as kind and patient as all of them have been with us. Over all the experience was average. Myself and one of my friends (also female) were on the lot looking around for about an hour. No one ever approached us to ask us if we needed help. I ended up finding a sales person on my own, and he was fine throughout the process, although at times was unaware of things he should've been aware of. Made an appt for closing, when we arrived, no one was prepared... a person from the service dept came out and immediately started addressing my son who was with me for closing - I had to interrupt him and let him know I was the one purchasing the camper (he shouldve known that as he was holding the paperwork) and when it was time to sign the paperwork we were told they're running 30 minutes behind, so we decided to go have lunch and they said "just make sure you're back in 30 minutes" - I reminded them that we were the ones that were on time. (When we did close, finance person was very nice.) Did a "walk-through". The 2nd service guy was very informative, but couldn't figure out why the microwave wasn't working (turns out it wasn't plugged in). My sales person did call me multiple times to make sure I'd heard from the people that were going to deliver the camper (which I had not). Taylor delivered the camper. He was a HUGE help, parked it just where I wanted it, showed me how to set it up and made sure it was secure before he left, he was definitely the best part of the entire experience. The only outstanding issue is that the door key actually doesn't fit the outside storage doors, so we're waiting to hear back on that.

What a wonderful experience we had yesterday at Camping World. We've just started looking for a camper in the past week. Our sales rep, Andrew, was awesome. I went to camping world because Ganders treated me horrible and refused to help us with a project to install reclining sofa. Jamie Morgan was my service advisor. I let him know how Ganders wouldn't give me the time of day nor did they want my money for removing a kitchenette and installing a sofa. This was a big project because the water heater had to be moved along with gas, water, and electric. Jamie excused himself for a minute and brought Corey an expert tech in to talk with us. Corey said he could do it no problem. We brought it in on the date agreed on and in just one week Corey transformed the area into our dream. Everything looked perfect and he even used a space that was behind a wall that was dead space for the water heater. We will always go to Jamie and Corey for all our needs. They are honest and amazing and even funny!

I had a three year old travel trailer in very good condition, however we hadn’t been able to use it as much as we like. I garage the camper about 45 minutes from where I live so it would have been difficult to show to potential buyers, so I took the trailer to camping world to consign. They provided an online estimate range of prices I may be able to get based on condition. I took it in to get a better idea of what that price would be. It was on the higher end of the range they provided and after and hour of review we came to agreement on a price. I was a little concerned that any minor necessary costs I would need to cover for repair (or some verbiage like that). Within a month I got a call to pick up my check. It was for the full agreed upon price and there was no hidden fees or costs. Gerard is as professional as they get and everything that we agreed to was delivered. Straight forward honest transaction. I recommend and would use again.

After buying the coach we have had nothing but unacceptable and unprofessional customer service from them. I would list all the problems I have had but it would take to long to list. They are just a lot of excuses that don’t make sense. Camping world needs to do a better job at customer service after the purchase. I scheduled to bring the coach in one month after I called. My coach has been in there for miner repairs for 10 weeks and still are waiting for a completion date. I do not get an update on what is going on unless I ask for one. This has been a horrible experience and I am sure I am not the only one going thru this. Do something about your customer service or you will be loosing a lot of business. I give you 0 stars for customer service. Fix the problem!!!!!

I walked in to see a gentleman vacuuming, glanced randomly at the wall, and saw a picture of the general manager - who was also the person doing the cleaning. He wanted his employees to focus while keeping the store clean for guest. I like that leadership. I ended up buying a camper, they were fair on the price and had two (at least) skilled guys who managed to load the cabover camper I purchaed onto my trailer - which was no easy feat! My family and I bought a 2020 Coleman 244BH travel trailer from Camping World in Golden, CO on September 27, 2019. I wanted to say that I was skeptical at first of buying my RV from Camping World but I have to say that this was a great experience for a first time buyer. Mike (sales) showed us all of the travel trailers and called us when the one we wanted to see came to the lot. He came in on his day off even to show me a trailer we were interested in. Matt (General Manager) I meet while walking around the lot with Mike and he was very informative and helpful. Matt was very responsive to me and my family and stated that he just recently got to Camping World and was really working on the customer satisfaction. I talked with him about some of the concerns i have heard about with the reviews around Camping World and he listened to my concerns and was open to talking with me about them. He showed me an app on his phone that he uses to look at every review that comes in to see if there is anything that they can improve on. Matt even gave me his cell phone number and when there was some confusion at one point he actually called me back a couple of hours later at night to make sure that everything was taken care of. I felt that Matt really cared about the customer's experience. I had a brief conversation with James (sales manager) and he was very nice and polite. When we finally decided to purchase our travel trailer we talked with Kevin in finance. Kevin knew a lot about trailers and while we were talking about the paperwork he answered a wide variety of other questions around camping. He was very polite and friendly and helpful. Kevin talked about all of the different options and was not aggressive at all while going over things. I never felt forced to buy or aggressive tactics from Mike, James, Matt or Kevin and they all answered our questions and were all very helpful. As we walked through the store to pick up first time camper essentials we got to meet Sheri (Store Manager) and she was also very nice and helpful. While watching her interact with other customers as well as myself she was very approachable and always seemed to have a smile on her face. We walked through the store with Craig and he was really great. He was very informative about different things that we needed and/or didn't need at that particular time. Being a first time travel trailer owner this was very helpful as he talked about all of the different options and the different products. He was very friendly and approachable. When we went to pick up our trailer we completed the walk through with Mickey and she was also very informative. She took her time answering our questions and walking through things with us since again this was our first trailer. There were some minor things that we found during the walk-through and she promptly got those taken care of. She helped go over the controls, the water, the dump as well as connecting the hitch and disconnecting it. We had an issue when picking up the trailer and had to leave it at the store for a couple of days and Sam (Service manager) was great as well. He took care of the issues and had the trailer ready for pick up a couple of days later. So far I have to say that I have really enjoyed my experience with Camping World. I felt that we got a fair deal and a great travel trailer that meets our needs. I do not have any regrets about buying our trailer from there and I hope that if you are looking for a trailer that you give them a look as well.

We found a 2004 Wildcat online with Camping World. Lisa O'Farrell, the sales woman, was wonderful to work with. She did not try to up sale us to another unit or play around in negations. It took us less then 10 minutes to get a deal done. Lisa and the finance staff honor NADA values of the unit. Everything that was wrong with the unit was replaced and fixed before we made the 8 hour trip back to Northern Wyoming (including new tires). Chad, the service tech, was a joy to work with. He knows his campers and how to deal with people. He cared that our unit was in tip top shape before we left. I read the negative reviews and the only thing I agree with is: They are busy!!!!!! We worked with Andrew Wutke yesterday, looking for a used RV in the $40k price range. The dealership had one which fit our needs and price, so we asked Andrew to show it to us. Andrew treated us like we were buying a half million dollar coach. He spent an hour showing us all of the details and pointing out different items that showed the quality of the 2007 Coachman Aurora class A motorhome. He took great care if us, and risked life and limb when he climbed on top of the coach to inspect the awnings and roof, with an inch of snow on vehicle. We had been looking at private sale coaches, expecting that we would get a better price this way. However, this didn't turn out to be true. Although reluctant, we stopped by Camping World to see what vehicles they might have, thinking that the prices would cause us to scurry away quickly. After Andrew's great care of us, we were able to agreed on a price for the coach that we guessed was quite fair. Last night we searched the internet and found that the price we had agreed upon was wonderful, $7,000 less than the online price of a coach in Florida. Next came the financing part, which I always dread. Car dealers push you to add on all sorts of extras. Not Camping World in Golden. We were nicely as if we would like one or two, but we never felt any pressure. Eric Smith work on financing a portion of the purchase and had the details worked out with the bank by this morning. Since it is a used and older coach, the standard is 1/2 down, 1/2 finance. Eric as able to save us $5k on the downpayment, so it can stay in the stock market and build interest that's higher than the interest on the loan. Plus we can write off the interest on our taxes, off setting a bit more. Eric was the one who confirmed this tidbit. We will test drive the coach on Saturday, and if it drives as magnificent ⅖every other aspect of our experience, we will have a wonderful coach, at an awesome price, for years to come.

Through two camper purchases now, Kevin has remained patient and has helped us figure out what would meet our needs and desires. We came for our vacation in Colorado, New Mexico and South Dakota. In Colorado we thought we'd go check out the RV'S. We've owned 2 before and have really enjoyed them. Coming to the dealership we saw some pop outs and thought those were interesting. Then we saw two RV'S that we really liked. Unfortunately we only had finances for our vacation. The young man we talked to really tried to help us out. We are now in Hill City, South Dakota enjoying our vacation, but everytime an RV passes our way, I just look at it and look the other way. We don't want to be left scraping for money if we would add another payment even though the dealer really tried hard working with us. This is our third time taking our trailer to camping world for repairs. As I mentioned in other reviews, my experience had been that they were about average to everybody else. As long as I give them a few weeks to get it turned around it seemed to work fine. HOWEVER, we brought our trailer in on Friday for routine maintenance (bearing repack, fridge). They were extremely busy and I was hoping they were going to have it back by the end of the month so we could go on a Thanksgiving trip to Moab. Friday afternoon I got a call that the trailer was already done. We went in on Saturday (the next day) and they brought the trailer out and we were backing up trying to find it and we didn’t even recognize our trailer. This is because the tongue jack and front frame had a significant amount of rust all over it which I had been planning to paint, but they did that for me without me even asking and didn’t charge us! They even popped out a dent in the side that I showed them when they were taking pictures for damage. The new manager Matthew came out and talked to us and shook our hands and told us that he had recently started there and was doing everything he could to give first notch customer service. My wife and I were both awestruck. As I said in my previous posts they were traditionally about average and I really didn’t have any complaints, but they were total rockstars this time around. I have read on here that there have been people that had bad experiences with this camping world in the past. It might be worth giving them a new try with this new management.

They repaired our lights, modified something that we weren’t ready to fix, and gave us a great explanation on what we needed to know about our slide. Very friendly! Informative and helpful! I went into Camping World not expecting to have the experience that I did. Let me preface this by stating, I had absolutely zero interest in buying an RV. Well given the circumstances I didn't have another choice. My fiance and I walk in, and get checked in, and was told a sales representative would be out soon. And then we met Chris. Now, remember I already didn't want to be even looking at buying an RV, yet alone trying to talk to a rep who I was sure, was just like every other sales rep out there, just trying to make another sale. However, Chris was different. He noticed my logo on my mask and quickly realized that I work in Healthcare. Instantly he started apologizing and giving condolences for the past year, covid and all. I just kinda half heartedly smiled through it. After we finished the preliminary paperwork he took us out to see an RV in our price range. We went into it and were checking things out. Not a bad little living space. Better than I thought it would be. Keep in mind, it's been a very emotional couple of weeks and extremely stressful; and I am embarrassed of what happened next, but I started to cry. I knew things would be okay, and everything would turn out how it's supposed to. However, it didn't stop the tears from rolling down my face. I excused myself and went outside, where I silently sobbed, collected myself and walked back inside. Chris proceeded to empathize for me. "You guys are literally saving lives!" "I feel for you, I really do!" "I am going to try and do everything possible to help you guys." It was in that very moment that I knew, these people ACTUALLY cared about their customers, he wasn't just trying to make a sale off of me, and using my hardships against me. No, no, no, he actually wanted to make my day a little better, and a little less hectic. At the end of the day, even if this whole thing doesn't work out, I will know he absolutely did everything he could to help us. At the end of our little meeting, I told him I liked his pen, and he reached into his desk and brought out a whole damn pack of them, simply said "they're yours now." Hands down one of my favorite experiences in customer service! Chris, if I could give more than 5 Stars, I would! Thank you so much!

I have a new tow vehicle for my travel trailer and it is giving me fault message, "Trailer Wiring Fault." By email I talked with my Camping World Service adviser, Lonnie Fast. He was able to guide me in cleaning the plug fittings, selecting the correct trailer settings on the tow vehicle and establishing a working connection. Lonnie has been accessible, responsive and helpful on this electric connection issue, as he has been on warranty work and other trailer maintenance issues. This has been extremely comforting to me as a first-time RV owner.

Full timer and had to get a repair done on a cross country trip, where we were not planning on staying more than a week in one place. We had it diagnosed at one place, they said it would take three weeks to get a part. We called ahead several states down into the trip. Met some rude RV consultants not willing to even listen. However, when we got to calling here, Bobby was awesome. He said, “We got you,” and he did. Having to go through a warranty, things take time. Bobby fast tracked it and got us out day three in our visit. That was impossible for other service centers, that forget there are people behind the RV’s. Couldn’t ask for better service and care.

Although I'm not currently looking to buy an RV today, I will for sure be comming back in the near future to purchase one of the ones he has shown me. This gentleman also took the time to get battery box from the office and back out to the far corner of the lot just to show me one of your 5th wheels with all the slides out. He was very professional and I'm looking forward to doing business with him in the near future. I recently purchased a Jayco travel trailer from here. Im a little picky about things and sceptical about sales people. Im sure I rubbed these people a little. Nick my salesman was patient and accommodating. He made the experience perfect for me and put up with my nonsense. He was there when I picked it up and has called to make sure everything was going alright. Great guy!! Also, the GM put up with my nonsense. They made sure I knew I was getting what they said and what I expected. The stars are for you guys. 2 stars for the finance guys bedside manor and the install of my extended stay package. This story starts back in April of 2017. we purchased a 30' Coleman Trailer our sales rep started with SAMMY then got passed to Jake also a sales rep. we did get our new trailer and used it about 6 times this last summer and threw the course of using it we discovered a few thing that were not normal with a new RV. the entry door gets stuck most of the time and getting worse and the larger slide is having mechanical problems, also the exterior is a corrugated type finish and where the panels join together they have started to come apart horizontally, it appears the seams were not put together on the over lapping correct. I started by calling my sales rep SAMMY and no answer for about 2 weeks. finally I was able to get him on the phone and his words were I will have someone call you within 5 min this was 3 times no call back and he avoided answering his phone, and the service department has immediate answering recording which was useless. My wife was able to get through from another number that they did not associate with myself she did get through and we have spoke with DUDLEY (the right person) he has scheduled for my trailer to be in on 12-9-2017 which is understandable with there back log of problem new campers/motorhomes. but he was very helpful, I am pleased we have a date to get it in and get things taken care of by camping season in the spring. so thanks to DUDLEY he has been great so far. word of advise get names of manager and numbers before buying may be over look the transaction. you may avoid some of these types of problems. will follow up with update as it progresses.

After much looking, we visited Camping World of Golden to look at a unit that we had not been able to find anywhere else in Denver. Andrew, the sales guy, was extremely knowledgable. He showed us the unit and offered several other options as well. He worked with us to achieve a great deal which was lower than other out of region dealerships. After the purchase, he helped us get a few minor warranty fixes handled quickly. So far we are very impressed with Andrew and the team at Camping World.

I came to get a mattress topper late on Friday and found what I was looking for except it had no size printed on the box, and there are no returns on bedding items. All the senior managers had left by this time so Kayla B, a parts manager, helped me carefully open the box to see if we could measure the item. We determined it was the right size for my RV and I slept happily on it. I'm grateful that Kayla took the intitiative to go the extra mile in helping me.

The cost of the repairs was very reasonable for the amount of work we had them do. We were extremely happy with the price and the quality of workmen’s hip. I am writing this positive review to thank Lou Baca in the service department. I purchased a new unit last winter from this CW location and didn't take it out for several months. On my first trip in the Spring I had a slide issue. After I contacted Lou he got me an appointment the same week and fixed the slide motor in the following week. Wasn't pleased my new unit had these issues, but that is not his fault. I also recently brought my unit back in for its first round of warranty work. My list was quite extensive. Lou and I didn't agree on everything on the list. However, I trust his judgement and feel as though he is proving me the straight story on how the process works with the manufacturer and what the best steps forward. I will follow-up to this post when I get the unit back. In the meantime I would not hesitate to recommend both him and this service department as the customer service I have received has been great.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 9, 2019 This is our third time taking our trailer to camping world for repairs. As I mentioned in other reviews, my experience had been that they were about average to everybody else. As long as I give them a few weeks to get it turned around it seemed to work fine. HOWEVER, we brought our trailer in yesterday for routine maintenance. They were extremely busy and I was hoping they were going to have it back by the end of the month so we could go on a Thanksgiving trip to Moab. Yesterday afternoon I got a call that the trailer was already done. We came in today and they brought the trailer out and we were backing up trying to find it and we didn’t even recognize our trailer. This is because the tongue jack and front frame had a significant amount of rust all over it which I had been planning to paint, but they did that for me without me even asking and didn’t charge us! They even popped out a dent in the side that I showed them yesterday when they were taking pictures for damage. The new manager Matthew came out and talked to us and shook our hands and told us that he had recently started there and was doing everything he could to give first notch customer service. My wife and I were both awestruck. As I said in my previous posts they were traditionally about average and I really didn’t have any complaints, but they were total rockstars this time around. I have read on here that there have been people that had bad experiences with this camping world in the past. It might be worth giving them a new try with this new management. ————————————-

Just bought a new Jayco. James, the sales person, gets 6 stars. Overall experience was very good...a little disorganized during the closing. Staff in store were also fabulous... three people pulling little bits and pieces together to finish a secure hookup for the trip home. And James came to the rescue shooting over to Home Depot to grab one out of stock item. Did I mention that you should make your sales appointment with James? 😀

We had a great experience at Camping World in Golden, CO. My husband & I are from Georgia and found our coach on Camping World's online inventory. Patrick in sales did an terrific job sending us pictures, videos, and answering all our questions over the phone. Chris in financing worked hard to find to us a great interest rate through their lender and you can't beat the view from his office😉 Buying a motor home from another state was definitely a new experience but the guys at Camping World made it so easy. Patrick picked us up from the airport, we had a very informative technician walk us through the coach, and Chris had everything ready for us to sign so we could hit the road!
