Great buying experience, Matt's a great guy and straight shooter. Very knowledgeable, helpful with the paperwork and making it a trustworthy and painless experience. My brother bought used, and I bought a new car (cheaper than the used cars of the same model during this crazy car shortage) - I had to wait for a while for it to come in but Matt gave an accurate timeline and was very communicative and not pushy. He also helped arrange for it to get wrapped with a paint protection film at nearby sun-stoppers before we picked it up, as we live about an hour away. I'm extremely pleased with my car buying experience. Will continue to refer friends and family.

Daniel Pasco in sales was amazing to work with…interestingly enough several months ago we worked with him in an attempt to get us into a used Sienna…that did not end up working out for us as it wasn’t the right time to trade. Now almost a year later we pull into Heritage and he’s coincidentally right there to greet us. He was able to get us the perfect car, which is tough in this current new car shortage. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Heritage highly recommend!

Went in for my 10k mile service and a recall, I was greeted with a smile which was nice. Once my service was done, I signed the paperwork, never received an overview of the inspection details, and then there was no one at the parts counter to answer a question. When someone did finally show up, they were very short with me and didn't want to put much effort in answering my question. The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars instead of 2 was the quiet waiting area that allowed me to get some work done while I waited.

Heritage is a great dealership. They made the whole buying process as painless as possible. Everyone I had contact with treated me well (Joshua Mannings, Matt Messenger, & Christine Donahue). Totally honest in every aspect of the transaction, didn't try to sneak in back-door things, in short they didn't attempt any of the sleazy tactics I almost expect from car dealerships. They didn't waste my time, either. The car was ready when I arrived to pick it up, all the paperwork was done, Matt gave me good instruction on it's features, and I was on my way. Extremely happy with our shopping and buying experience here! We had purchased another Toyota at a different dealership out of state prior to moving to Vermont and the two experiences were pretty much night and day...goes to show what impact straightforward and knowledgeable staff have on the process. My husband and I worked with Joe Agresti on the sales team and he was a true professional...helped with our decision among several vehicle options, was kind and patient with our three young kiddos who accompanied us on both dealership visits, and kept up regular and consistent communication without being pushy or intrusive. When a nearly identical vehicle to the one we were waiting for arrived on the lot he called us immediately and came in on his day off to help us finalize the purchase and get our new car in our hands that much sooner. Hopefully he never finds another job lol, because we would absolutely want to buy our future cars with him as our sales guy! Travis Green from financing was wonderful as well (once again, I was struck with the difference between his positive and helpful demeanor and the attitude of the accounting rep from our previous dealership experience). Overall a 5/5 from start to finish...Heritage will be seeing more of our business for sure!

This was not my first rodeo as I have purchased and leased many cars over the years. My recent experience with Heritage Toyota's Sales Associate Thomas Payne was absolutely the finest car buying / leasing experience I have ever had. Tom and I connected virtually as I was beginning the process of looking for a new car. During our conversations Tom quickly identified my needs and found the right vehicle that would fit my lifestyle. When arriving at the dealership to meet Tom he was very well prepared as we took a test drive where his product knowledge of the vehicle was excellent. We had a great experience purchasing my 2019 RAV4 Hybrid from Matt Messenger. We told him exactly what we were looking for and we got lucky as my vehicle just came off a lease and was at the dealership that day.
I picked up my “new to me” suv on Thursday. It’s been extremely hot so I was driving around with windows up and AC on. However, on Monday, 4 days later, it was cooler so I finally had the windows down.
What’s alarming is that all I could hear was clicking sound coming from my wheels. Since they put on brand new tires, I knew it could not be that. I text Matt my concern and I have yet to hear back. I called the Service desk this morning to advise on my issue and they put me on the schedule for tomorrow morning.
I did not expect to have any problems after it went through a full inspection and service.
Overall- Great experience with Matt.
The vehicle, I’m not 100% thrilled as this is my first “new car purchase” and I’m already having an issue.

Easy in, easy out. Great service, friendly, accommodating environment. I asked for a custom alignment and the tech was willing to give me as close to -2 degrees of camber and slight toe out in the front as I asked; rather than treating me as if I had no idea what I was requesting. Will be going back once I've fitted my car with other alignment upsetting modifications for autocross.

I was greeted at the front door by Nathan, and he actually turned out to be my salesman. He answered all my questions I asked and really helped me a lot through the buying process. The vehicle needed some maintenance before being sold and he kept me updated which I was very grateful for. There was no pressure at any point, and they even saved us money with our car insurance in financing by telling us what was covered by Toyota warranty, and what we didn’t need from GEICO. You might have to wait for a vehicle to be in stock here, but it’s worth the wait. If you go, tell Joe C we say hello! He was fantastic.

We (my husband and I) always turn to Heritage Toyota first when purchasing a vehicle. We also turn to the same sales person, Eleni. She knows what we expect from Toyota. And buying a car has been as easy as making an initial phone call. Plus, aside of excellent staff (both sales staff and finance person), our Toyota vehicles essentially never break down. Sure we occasionally have to replace exhaust and brakes and tires. But we never have any mechanical problems. Heritage Toyota, to us, means good price, excellent service, reliability through the lifetime of the vehicle.

Had an awesome experience! I had an appointment and did not wait even a minute. Drove right in and was greeted instantly with a friendly professional greeting, complimented on having paperwork ready, and felt like a quality customer! I fully expected to have missed my first free oil change however I was still provided it even though a substantial amount of miles over, and a free inspection/rotation. Even though these are free services I still was treated exceptionally well and an excellent overall experience. Heritage has always worked hard to provide top notch service and the sales, and community programs they are involved in are also top notch. I wish I could remember the service advisors name but I have yet to have a bad experience. A quick tip though is it is best to make an appointment as they are busy! They do, however, have a lot of parts in stock for my tundra. I think their labor rate is exorbitant, along with the rest of the dealerships on shelburne rd. Showed up for an inspection-that got me scheduled for the very next day which was a huge surprise! They got me right in and real quick to come out and let me know that everything was done except I failed for a very basic electrical issue. I had some customized wiring which they allowed me to correct and then they quickly and very efficiently re-inspected my vehicle and sent me on my way, no additional charge! I was that person who only bought inexpensive used cars from individuals, or from my mechanic (who was on speed dial on my phone). While the prices may have been right at the time, I certainly ended up paying much more when unexpected mystery problems and repairs surfaced at inopportune times. I always believed that dealerships were rip-offs and that negotiating with rapacious sales people would be difficult and distasteful. Fortunately, I now know better and wish it had not taken me so long to see the light. My husband (who had bought a car for his daughter from Chuck) urged me to consider buying a car from Toyota when my used Subaru finally had to finally be put out to pasture. We did a bit of preliminary research online, and when we showed up at the dealership, Chuck helped us out with other options, and in a couple of hours I was done--all set with a beautiful used Toyota Camry that suited all my needs. Chuck was terrific to work with--straightforward, clear, honest, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The transaction was painless. So much so that I have since bought two more cars--one for my son and one for my daughter, and those buying experiences were equally positive and easy. The Toyota dealership is also great to work with. I am always confident that my car is in full working order, and it is such a relief to know that there are no more mechanical mysteries. I will never look back in terms of buying a car from anyone but Chuck. If I could give him 10 stars, I would!

Everything was done through phone and text, even with a trade in, and I was able to get what I wanted. I always get prompt courteous service. I Really enjoy having the same service advisor. My service advisor, Dana has been great. I recently had a small problem with the truck that I found just before leaving town for a 1000 mile trip. I did not have a appointment but she was able to fit me in and take care of my problem the same day.
On another occasion I had a radiator failure... The antifreeze mixed with the transmission fluid and the truck started to over heat. The service technician was great by diagnosing the problem quickly and knowing to replace the radiator and then flush 3-4 times both fluids to get the truck working again.

I was told the airbags replacement would take all day. It took around a couple of hours. I was not informed that a Hundred dollars would be charged to my account for a loaner car, which I needed to go to an appointment in Burlington until I was checking out a car. My appointment took about an hour and a half and I went straight back to Heritage afterward. My car was still waiting for service when I returned. Upon calling the bank when I returned home to cancel the $100.00 hold on my account, I was told the dealership would have to write a letter to the bank to do so or i would have to wait from that Wednesday to Friday for it to be cancelled. I was glad the car was ready and I didn't have to wait until 5:00 as I had been informed. I did not appreciate the quality of communications with the staff.

Went in for our 10,000 check and decided to have our summer tires put on instead of just the rotating of tires....no problem very accommodating. Did take a little longer than we expected but glad they were able to do it. Staff is so friendly and willing to help. Waiting room very nice and comfortable. They were all great. They determined that when I got tires recently, at a different establishment, they had broken one of the valve stem and sensor and had replaced with an after market product that didn’t work and didn’t tell us. Once we got it approved by that other company’s corporate, TOYOTA replaced it with the correct valve stem and sensor and took direct payment from that company. So as a result I was able to get it done that day and not have to schedule another appointment and also didn’t have to pay for it and wait for reimbursement. Dana at the front desk was awesome!

I have had my vehicle serviced at Heritage for years. In fact, all three of my most recent cars have been serviced at Heritage and never a problem.
However, recently I had my car serviced at Heritage and the technician didn’t tighten the lug nuts properly on one of my wheels. This caused a serious failure.
I spoke to Kate the service manager who was very accommodating and reimbursed me for a tow and repair at another facility. Yes, Heritage made a mistake, but they corrected it and have been very professional in resolving this issue. I would recommend them to anyone, and I will continue to have my car serviced there.

We went to Heritage hoping to look at a few trucks, maybe price some things, and leave with some stuff to think about. We were expecting to be patronized, since we were two women, looking for a truck, and knowing very little about the actual workings of cars. Instead, we received very friendly customer service from Conor McQuade! Conor was warm, often funny, and personable, but never pushy. He listened very well to our wishes and needs, as well as our descriptions of what we knew would and wouldn't work for us, given our past experiences and all the time we'd spent thinking about purchasing. Conor said he had the perfect vehicle for us, and he meant it!
The truck was exactly what we were looking for-- a Toyota in our price range, in great condition, with low mileage despite its age, 4wd capable, sturdy, in perfect working order, with very few frills, and within our desired age range. The perfect truck! The folks at heritage also were able to get us financing at a very good rate, much better than our bank could offer, and they're a good bank. We left knowing we'll pay a bit more on our monthly payment than we had wanted, but adding the warranty that we did made sense, and we're still in bounds, financially. At no point did we feel pressured or condescended too.
Thanks again to Conor and the people at Heritage Toyota. Their service was excellent, and we are very happy with our truck!

I think back on my experience so far and there is nothing I would change. I'll get to the negatives first:
1). They promised to lower the cost of the car. I found out that the "lowered" cost was the same as what I would have paid anyway. They just jacked up the price $1,000 at the dealership making me think I saved $ but I actually saved nothing.
2). The Toyota "free" oil change...they tried to get me to sign a paper saying I would pay for it. I forced them to honor their "free" oil change, but still, they do try to get you to pay for it.
Positives:
Other than that, they were fairly friendly and Toyota cars themselves are designed quite well. They also inspect your brand new car when u get it! 4/5 rating from me!

So I have used this Toyota dealer on multiple occasions for work on our Toyota Tundra, and I must say they do an amazing job. They are very honest people that go out of the way to take care of the customer. We dealt with Kate Poole this time for the service adviser and she is a great lady to deal with. This was my 1st experience with Heritage Toyota Service. My 5000 mile maintenance appointment was scheduled for after 2p.m., so I dropped off my car around 7 a.m. planning to pick it up after work. I drove right into the sparkling clean shop where I was met by a polite young man who checked me in, directed me to the very nice, clean, grease-free lounge, where I made myself a FREE cup of coffee while I waited for the shuttle. I was dropped off right at my office building. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call later that morning letting me know my car was ready for pick up and asking if I needed the shuttle again. I didn’t but I wouldn’t have felt like I was putting anyone out if I had.

I shopped around and found that Heritage had the best price for the snow tires I wanted. The service was quick and worked with my schedule. I was able to wait there and do some work in a "quiet" room that had a free internet connect. They even washed my car. I scheduled my next service with them, rather then going back to the dealership in Boston.

I was ready to close the deal, but because of the backlog of buyers, they couldn't process my purchase in time for me to make an appointment. I thought three hours would have been sufficient. I had called to schedule an appointment and was told I would have to wait until 12/29/17. I called back after our first snowstorm because I decided I couldn’t wait that long and this extremely nice representative named Emily was able to get me in two days later by “forcing” in an appointment. We have an 8 month old and a 10 year old and the tires that were on the car when I bought it were terrible. So anyhow, I dropped off my car on a Thursday night which went smoothly. It was my first time at the service department and a very nice gentleman went out and got my car for me as he saw my hands were full with the two kids. The waiting area is pretty accommodating and kid friendly. Once my fiancé arrived to pick up the kids and I we realized we had forgotten the CarSeat in my car. It was 5 minutes to closing time and another extremely nice employee went and got the seat for us and brought it right out to the car. The next day my car was ready early afternoon. Pickup was quick and painless and they said everything went great. I had called around other tire shops but surprisingly I couldn’t find any cheaper tires than at Toyota Service Center.

My wife and I had a very decent car buying experience with Heritage Toyota. In we went with an '08 RAV4 and out we came with a new one. Daniel P. was an excellent low-key salesman who helped us get the vehicle we wanted at a price we were willing to pay. Yes, we had to haggle a bit, but if you are realistic and are willing work with them they will do the same with you. In the end, we walked out feeling like we got a good deal, which is the way it should be. Kudos to Daniel for being cool as a cucumber, to Heritage Toyota for living up to its ratings, and to Toyota for supporting our military.

Over the years, my family bought at least four vehicles from Heritage Toyota, for good reason. In part, Eleni Floyd, one of their sales people instills a feeling of trust in the quality of their vehicles and the price. She described her motto as wanting to be as straight forward and truthful as she can be to foster positive relationships so people will return in the future. Clearly, her approach is working! She is excellent!
Another thing I must mention is that I went into the dealership with three children under the age of seven (Yes, I know I'm crazy!) The staff was awesome and tolerated kids running around the show room, letting loose their balloons, and animated "talking" for several hours. They never showed frustration and tried to accommodate as best they could. It was greatly appreciated!

Yesterday, my wife and I took in our two RAV4‘s to be state inspected. Our 2019 also needed an change per 10,000 mile specification.
I specifically defined this in the online reservation facility. I can understand it was somewhat odd for a request for 2 cars at the same time, I repeated this to the service folks before and during service.
Guess what , there was no oil change. I was somewhat annoyed. The sales person responsible called and accepted fault. I was invited back today, anytime, for the oil change.
It was accomplished, no problem. They also took a significant discount for future service that might be required on our 2011 RAV4.
Pleased customer. Toyota Service is a class act! Very impressed.

I just brought my car in this May for regular maintenance and a tire change. I also needed the guys in the shop to touch up a few scratches. I dropped it off at 8am and by 1pm they were done. I was impressed with how speedy their service was! When I arrived to pick up my car, I couldn't even tell where the scratches had been because they did such a great job painting and buffing them out!
Lastly, I have to mention that I always enjoy walking into the dealership to see Laz and the crew because the environment at Heritage Toyota is so friendly and welcoming. Thanks to all, keep up the excellent work!

After my vehicle was serviced and inspected there was a horrible smell that had found it's way into the main part of the car. I was convinced it was something to do with the muffler/exhaust system. They tore apart my car to help me find out what exactly was wrong with it and for that I am incredibly appreciative and grateful for them helping to pin point where it was coming from. The team is Excellent. My only gripe is the prices; but if the kind of service you get is them going out of their way to locate a problem, which is not something you get from others, well then I can understand the costs being what they are.

Heritage Toyota was the dealership I needed to visit to get a taillight replaced. That is pretty mundane, and they seemed fine. I made, canceled, and remade the appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by a young man who sat, with several other people, behind what seemed to be a help/appointment management desk. He drew in another man to figure out the answer to a question, and then I went to the "lounge" to wait for the 1 hour appointment to be completed. My daughter and I came prepared with lunch, read magazines, could watch tv, have a cup of coffee or go to the quiet room. In exactly one hour we were summoned to pay and leave. Wow, what a great experience!

This was my first time bringing my 4Runner in for service (bought it in April), and the level of service and ease of dropping my car off talking to the attendant was phonomally shocking in the best possible way! Bringing my cars in for service at other dealerships (always owned Jeeps previously) was something I dreaded, it always took up a lot of time, the interactions were awkward. The service advisor, Katherine Smith, was very professional and polite and explained every aspect of the service in detail. It was during the multipoint inspection review that she noted that our tires were in need of replacement soon. Within minutes I had a price and an appointment to install them. On Tuesday, I brought my 2010 Prius in for my 10'30am appointment for an oil change and was greeted by Ryan. Around 1 pm he came to get me and to tell me what needed to be done in the upcoming future. He reviewed the paperwork and noticed that only three things had been noted, but not another one that he then researched and alerted for me : the Transmission flush might be needed and the prices varied, depending upon whether or not it was a sealed transmission. I very much appreciated his attention to detail and professionalism. Also, because it had taken so long to change the oil, they did not charge me!

My husband and I had excellent experience working with Heritage Toyota Scion. The employees were friendly and polite. A few of them made efforts to communicate with us since our primary language is American Sign Language. The only downside about this site is that this site did not ensure that used vehicles are checked out and cleaned out before placing on market. We had to wait two days for our vehicle to be ready to be picked up. Then we had to schedule detailing appointment at a later time for our vehicle. It would be nice and business-wise to be thorough with the used vehicles prior to listing on website and market. This way the consumers can take their vehicle(s) home on the same day they purchase it.

SALES: I usually come into a dealership knowing exactly what I want but this time I had a lot of questions. Parker Fothergill spent an entire afternoon giving me information about all my options and what sounded like the best options based on my lifestyle. After spending hours going over what works best, he then let me test drive as many vehicles as I needed to until I found the vehicle for me. After realizing the price as a little steep, Parker searched for days to find me the right vehicle for the right price. Not a week later I drove off in a brand new 2015 Toyota Tundra with everything I wanted and more.
To be honest, I went to Heritage planning on using them purely for information, but once Parker sat me down and spent countless hours with me making sure I was taken care of, I knew he would be making the sale.
TRADE VALUE: I worked with Ryan Denecker on my trade value to ensure I got a good deal. My trade was an important part of purchasing a new vehicle and Ryan was truly able to understand that and meet me where I needed to be to purchase my new Tundra. Ryan was very easy to work with and listened to exactly what I had to offer. If I had to deal with anyone regarding trade value and customer service, Ryan wins hands down.
MANAGEMENT: Shannon was my "behind the scenes" advocate who was truly able to understand how difficult buying a truck can be and understood the middle ground that needs to be met in order to sell vehicles. Her many years of sales experience showed during our interaction.
FINANCE: Finally, Jon was who I wrapped up with regarding financing. Jon worked well with me and told me in great detail everything I needed to know regarding financing my new vehicle. What I appreciated the most is that Jon didn't push the warranty work down my throat, he simply showed me the benefit to purchasing the various plans. While I did not go with the platinum plan, he did such a good job telling me the benefits of the other plans that I purchased a lesser one and still feel better protected with my new Tundra.
OVERALL: Customer service, quality of vehicle and overall experience, I'd absolutely recommend looking Mr. Fothergill up during your next visit to Heritage Toyota. Hats off to Parker, Shannon, Ryan and Jon for turning what could've been a terrible experience into a great one.

We recently brought a used car from Chuck and things could not have been more professional and low key. We took a test drive in a 2009 Corolla and while we were out, another associate sold the car!! Chuck was a little embarrassed as a professional of over 40 years and talked with the boss then sold us a 2009 Prius at our negotiated price with no haggling. The car was for my daughter in grad school and she felt very respected, but it is what happened next that set Heritage and Chuck apart.
We ordered new winter tires, but there was a one-week wait for service. Chuck pulled a few strings and we had the tires installed the next day. And he lent me a car for the entire day while work was done. A week later one of the new tires had a slow leak. Service was again a week away, and three weeks if I wanted to wait. A call to Chuck and the work was scheduled the next day. And, this time he lent my daughter his personal car to use for the day. Way above and beyond!!
I am tough to please usually, but I will return for my next vehicle.

Any time I was waiting for him and Francis was around (his desk is nearby), he was friendly and humorous; he always said hi or chatted with me when I was sitting there. 2/16/2016: Two weekends ago, we started (and turns out, ended) the process to test drive our next vehicle. We leased the Rav4 mentioned above and were looking to lease again. We had narrowed down to 3 vehicles we were interested in. We merely went into test drive a Highlander to either rule it out or keep on the list of 3 choices. Jason helped me get settled in the new rig and took the time to run through all of the options that the truck has to offer which saved me a lot of trial and error and looking up how to use certain functions in the manual. Just left Heritage Toyota in disbelief. My vehicle computer and injection pumps put my Tundra into a dangerous limp mode. A $2400 fix not covered as my certificate warranty had expired. Another dealer who apparently didn't know corporate policy sent me up route 2 where Heritage said yes we have to take vehicles that apply to a "dangerous policy" in and repair within a few business days.
Tire season in full effect off Shelburne road and Heritage took me in when the sleepy competition couldn't even get out of there seat.
Rental car waiting, pw done over phone and now here on Wednesday afternoon (2 days later) i get an October Christmas call from corporate working with Heritage that they will apply the "Toyota good will" policy to this issue and pay a large sum towards labor and parts.
Jay in service was impressive as voicemails were answered, tracking down a completion time estimate, and relaying information from corporate, to service director and to myself was done above and beyond. I was never left in the dark as I feel there service department sets the bar well above the competition.
Every interaction I had with Heritage Toyota was phenomenal.
My tundra is my work truck as I work for myself. This issue was beyond stressful but the care and efficiency from Heritage relieved all of that and I will be purchasing many more Tundras from them as they set a standard in VT that compares to noone.....

I always wait there if the car is in for service and I appreciate the quiet room especially. Laz Koep sold me my last car, and I've never had a better car buying experience. The only thing that bothers me a little is the hard sell by the person whose job it is to get me to buy extras (extended service contract, etc.), but that has nothing to do with Laz.

We bought a used Prius C from Angus Gunn several months ago and have been extremely happy with the car and the service. Angus helped us find the car that we wanted at a reasonable price. We were hesitant about adding a second car to our family, but with three kids all going different directions at once, it was becoming obvious to us that it was time. We love getting the great gas mileage (average easily 60-70 mpg around town with gentle driving) and felt comfortable that we were getting a good deal after looking into other dealerships in New England. They worked with me to drop my vehicle off to be serviced over the weekend and pick up while they were closed which was super helpful. I was super bummed though when I heard it would be $75 for an oil change! I thought my car was covered under prepaid Toyota care but I guess there was a limit of services. I also realized after I picked up my car that my inspection is past due. I know that is something I should have noticed but it would have been awesome if Toyota had caught that and offered the service while they had my car for the day. Lastly, the representative who contacted me about my car texted me and asked me for my credit card info to pay for the oil change. When taking a form of payment, making a phone call seems more appropriate.

The folks are very polite and easy to work with. There is one associate that checks me in about 95% of the time and always asks if I've been there before. I find it humorous because everyone else recognizes me. :) Another thing is that I've been there for tops off on some fluids before my regular maintenance and even had a broken windshield wiper and they fixed it with a handshake and asked me to come back soon. I really appreciated that.

I really only go here because I bought my car here so they give you free state inspections (which is very nice). However the last time I was here, I needed an air filter replaced- so it took about two hours, which is ok since they needed to get the part.
However, they never actually replaced the part! So I had to go back down to south Burlington later that day just so they could actually put in the part they charged me for, but forgot to actually put in- luckily it worked out that I was already in that area, but it’s kind of a pain to drive down there when I live and work about 30-60 minutes away.

I was very pleased that he listened to my concerns about price and fuel mileage and didn't try to convince me to buy a more expensive car or try to get me to buy a less expensive car which I would not have been as happy with. He was very knowledgeable on the features of the cars he showed me and seemed to be aware of the inventory of cars that fit my budget without needing to look around the lot first. He treated me like a person and not just like a sale which felt good. I drove right in to the bay, they scanned my VIN# & immediately pulled up the info for my appointment. Toyota USA gave it a case number Monday, it was towed to you that afternoon, and today Kate said they sent photos of the crack to Toyota USA. The car had only just over 67,000 miles on it. It is my third Prius, and I will be very disappointed with Toyota if they do not give my daughter and her husband the book trade-in value on It towards the purchase of a new car for them.

I took my Tacoma in to get the leaf springs replaced under a goodwill recall. They had my truck for about a week (which is a relatively short amount of time considering the back order on the Leaf Springs). They also noticed there was an issue with the brake cable leading to the back wheels and I told them to go ahead and fix it and replace the old battery... to the tune of about $500+.
I gave them 4 stars in this review... great communication, extremely friendly staff, quick service once the parts came in and an overall professional atmosphere. The did however lose a star for returning my truck to me covered in bird droppings. And when I say covered, I mean no less than 15 splatters on the hood, windshield and side windows. I didn't even look in the bed of the truck, god knows how many are in there. But if a customer spends $500+ on a repair, the least you should do is make sure the vehicle is not covered in bird droppings before handing it back to them.
If the cleanliness of my vehicle upon pick up is my biggest gripe, than this dealership is doing pretty well in my opinion.

This review is long overdue. I purchased two vehicles, a Highlander and Rav4, from Heritage last year. We worked with Marc Halliday and had just a great experience overall. Marc was so easy to work with and went above and beyond with both vehicle purchases. I had been dealing with Freedom Nissan prior to that, and had such a ridiculously horrible experience with Nissan (ended up as Lemon Law for multiple transmission failures on a 2013 Pathfinder, and the Nissan dealership was awful). The contrast of environments between Heritage and Freedom Nissan is so dramatic - I would HIGHLY recommend Heritage to any of my friends and family. Every step, from purchase through service, is well thought out and never felt "pushy" in any way. I've purchased 8 vehicles as an adult in three different states and my experience with Marc at Heritage was the best I've had.

We had an appt. for a recall service. We brought the car in at 8AM. and were told that it could take most of the day but the work would be done as soon as they could. We had another vehicle so we didn't need a rental, although it was offered tour. The car was ready in much less time than we thought. Besides doing the recall work, they checked the car from top to bottom and made sure we had no other issues. I knew we needed a new wiper for the back window and they asked if I wanted it replaced at that time. Couldn't ask for any better service anywhere.

Brought my 2010 Yaris in for a front wheel bearing replacement on 2/20/16. I was able to schedule the service for a Saturday, which is amazing in itself! The check in process, appearance of the facilities and especially the service is OUTSTANDING! The mechanic who replaced the front wheel bearing on my vehicle had me in and out in about 2 hours, and let me tell you, I know that is one pain in the arse job!! However even with a 15 dollar coupon it was like 65-70 bucks just to change tires which is slightly more than places without a coupon, so not competitive. They do say they check a bunch of stuff like fluids and top em off.

I am from New York and I decided to make the trip to Heritage Toyota in Vermont to look at the Rav4 Adventures they had. I wasn't originally planning on buying a car at first as I was just looking at the car and prices and what they had to offer.
While I was there, I was quickly met with helpful staff members who pointed my in the right direction to contact the internet salesman I was talking too. He came out and introduced me to the salesman Chuck. From there, Chuck brought me and my father to his desk and we discussed what I was looking for. He showed me all the inventory for the Rav4 Adventures and I decided to look at the Black one. He then brought the car around and took me on a test drive. As I drove around the area, Chuck pointed out all the safety features and unique features the Rav4 had.
Once I brought the car back to the dealership, they looked over my car and gave me a trade in value. This value surprised me as it was more than I was thinking. From there, Chuck ran a whole series of numbers and discounts to see how I could afford the Rav4. After many attempts, he thought of a lease and we found our magic number. Chuck was very very helpful and informative throughout the whole process. He didn't turn me away when we found I wasn't going to afford buying the Rav4 outright. Instead he took the time to fit me into a great lease deal. After I committed to the lease, I asked two questions to Chuck; 1. How soon I could get the car (since I am from NY)? 2. I asked since I put new tires that I paid great money for and researched, I asked if they could put those onto the new car for me.
Chuck quickly looked into the tire change and came back with the answer YES! He also stated the car would be ready by the time I was finished with all the paperwork.
I then met the Finance Director Jim who finished off the rest of the great buying experience with Heritage. He informed me on some packages to add onto my lease and thoroughly went through the contract with me. Both Chuck and Jim assured me that if I had any questions I could call them whenever I had an issue or question. Jim also told me if I had any issues with the NYS DMV to call him immediately.
To add onto this great buying experience, I informed Chuck, Jim and the sales manager that I was moving to Colorado that coming Saturday. Since I am buying a car in VT and from NY I needed proper paperwork bring to the DMV to register and inspect my car. Since I bought the car and did all the process late Wednesday night the paperwork wasnt ready for DMV. They all agreed on overnighting the proper paperwork I needed in order to do all those things ontime before I left. Lucklily, I had a family member in VT the next day and I saved them from overnighting the paperwork to having it ready by 3pm Thursday. I was then able to register and inspect my new lease in NY that Friday before I left.
All in all, Jim, Chuck and all the helpful staff at Heritage Toyota made my buying experience exceptional and impressed my Father where he will go there to buy his next vehicle. I will definetly buy/lease another car from them. They went above and beyond and helped me with all my questions and more importantly my needs.

Waiting room is really nice, and customer service is good! I came for my 20000 apt and had a lot of dirt from winter on my floor matts. When they took my car, I asked if they could possibly tuna vacuum really quick after service just to take the extra dirt and the answer was " unfortunately no! We are not gonna be able to that today!" Well, I didn't expected detailing or anything. Just a 60second vacuum!!! Usually when I take to Alderman's they even wash the car! Not that I care much, but a quick vacuum upon request is not too much to ask.

My service person was fabulous so the 4 stars is not a reflection of him. I give him 5+ stars. The 4 stars is more about Heritage. One reviewer said they even washed his car. My car has never been washed. But that's not my main gripe.
I bought both the Platinum X Care and the Premium Maintenance Agreement when I bought my car. It was around an extra $4,000+ I paid for the car. I was told after the 15,000 mile routine maintenance that I would have to pay for some filters next time, a cost of roughly $80. I know that I would have to pay for parts eventually, but filters??? Really? And at 20,000 miles? With all the Maintenance Agreements I paid for, filters can't be part of the agreements?
I think I'll go to Automaster next time. Not only do they wash everyone's car, but state inspections are free. Not at Heritage!

Our experience with our sales department was very good indeed. In particular Michael Thomson, our sales consultant was terrific. He readily admitted that he was new to Toyota so when we asked a question he didn't know the answer to he was quick to get to some other staff member who could answer the question. Registration was made easy with the help of Zack Roberts. At Michael's suggestion we had the car delivered to our house in Cornwall and I got a ride back up to Toyota, so I could pick up our Highlander that was in for service. They too, were most helpful. On short notice they took in the Highlander, got it inspected, found the problem and had the car ready for me the next morning!

Heritage has done everything they can, the problem appears to be Toyota’s design that doesn’t work well in the hilly terrain of Vermont.
