Just wanted to say that I got the best customer service at this place. Went in because I lost one of my fob keys for my pilot. And from start to finish I was notified about my vehicle every step of the way via text by Jennifer she was such a great help. Even gave me information about this coverage I purchased for my seats. The Service was quick and even got my car pulled up to the front after. You want good service go to McGovern Honda in Everett and see my new friend Jennifer. She was great!

The technician explained the results of my multi point inspection in detail to ensure I understood each aspect and that my vehicle would be in good shape for safe driving. He even went above and beyond and gave me advice on a cosmetic repair that I was seeking advice on. Friendly and wonderful service from start to finish!

Great experience with Amine. He greeted me as I walked into the dealership with my dad to discuss lease options. It was my third lease with Honda. I had an appointment but was able to make it earlier and it was a seamless process. Amine was upfront and honest with the inventory situation. Family Matters

Don't sell fear, listen to the customer and offer what you can. If you're unable to help then advise the customer to explore other options. Believe it or not there are dealerships out there that will help you and not raise your anxiety during car buying just to make a "sale" . Review update: I was contacted by the dealership with interest to resolve the situation. I am appreciative of that and have added 2 stars to my Review. However I did want to say that this Review was in no way meant as a negative gesture or desire to get anything from the dealership but instead to share the experience in hopes of helping someone who may be similar to myself who may have anxiety during car buying and to let the sales rep know that he should listen and engage with the customer in a helpful manner as opposed to using fear tactics.

My name is Carlos (22), I Originally went to McGovern honda to purchase a 22 Civic Hatchback, unfortunately we were told by Jay Miranda a Senior Sales Consultant that there weren't any in inventory at the moment, but not to worry that they could get one transfered from New York. I declined the offer as I needed a vehicle now. Fortunately i wasn't set on having the civic be my only option. Jay was kind enough to hear what features i wanted in a vehicle and based on what i told him he recommend a 22 Honda Passport. He showed me the vehicle, described all the features and explained how they function and why Honda chose to implement them. At that moment I was set on buying the 22 Passport. We then talked about warranties and how I would be in good hand with All-State protection plans and that there a reputable company. Now I've had bad experience with Honda protection plan, I previously bought a 17 Honda Pilot at Kelly Honda in Lynnwayn, bought all their protection plans and it was just a nightmare working with the service advisor and especially their service manager. Just the absolute worst. Ended up canceling their plans a losing money. Jay reassured me that McGovern honda wouldn't hurt their name, in selling something that they don't Believe, Jay even went out his way to show me that his vehicle is coverd by All-State protection and that he's been in situations where he needed to use his All-State protection plan and Honda and All-State pulled through. He was even able to get me a longer term for my power-train and bumper to bumper for up to 10 Years as he felt that the way Kelly Honda treated me was unfair. Throughout the whole interaction Jay was just Spot on even managed to get me a lower Payment with the help of Randy McGoverns Senior Finicial Advisor. Just overall the service was 10 out 10, I'm glad I chose McGovern Honda!

Advising all customers here to be careful in dealerships. Went to look at buying a new civic and got the out the door price of $31,918 at McGovern Honda. Salesman told me this would be the last civic allocation for months and likely the last civic LX they will ever get. This was a base civic LX with no options with a MSRP of $22550. They're pushing a $3,000 wheel insurance policy on a car with 16 inch steel wheels and a 55 aspect ratio. Who falls for that? I did this deal privately and saved myself a lot of money. Know what you're up against when you work with these dealerships.

We bought our car there. Amazing inventory. Sales Staff was not pushy to sell us the most expensive stuff. Some small things of course, but what can you do...its a car dealer. Service staff is super nice. Don't scam you either. So far had a good experience every time I went Update: Went there several times now for inspection. Always professional and never had the feeling they scam me. I have a pretty new car though.... not sure if they would try to sell me a repair with a much older model....we will see. Let's keep it that way please!

The area is equipped with plugins for your electronic devices. I left feeling safer in my car and not to mention a cleaner car since they also provide a complementary exterior car wash. Great experience at McGovern Honda! Made a service appointment to get a front license plate bracket installed on my car as I’m new to Boston and my out of state purchased CR-V didn’t have a place to attach a front license plate. I arrived early which was no issue by the service center and then waited for my car. Service was prompt with clear communication. They charged me only the cost for the part which I bought in stock through their parts department on site which was a very fair price. They installed the part for no labor fee! They also did a state inspection same day for me at the standard inspection rate so I didn’t have to go to another location. Felt both me and my car were very well taken care of today. I’ve found my Boston area Honda service department!

I arrived early with no issues. Car was seen quickly. They found an issue with the transmission fluid needing replacing and the text notification made it easy enough to amend the service to include that along with the estimate should it have been too steep and I needed to decline. I was in and out in under an hour and they even washed the car. As always, McGovern Honda took great care of me. Would highly recommend!

I wanted to try this dealership after some shady things went down after I got serviced at the dealership were I originally purchased my car. Matt M. was able to squeeze me in for my oil change even though I didn’t have an appointment which I loved. I love that McGovern gives you the option to decline suggested services rather than performing services on your car without discussing it with you and expecting you to pay for it. All the staff are friendly and the bathrooms are always clean which can be hard to find sometimes.

The service was good, I originally went for a wheel alignment but obviously they found other things that needed immediate attention on my car. I said they gave me an estimate of how long the wheel alignment should take which is roughly an hour and a half, after finding out the other things that I needed done to my car they told me it would be a tight squeeze to get everything done in one day on my car so they had Enterprise pick me up and got me a rental car which I thought was convenient especially the fact that they are paying for it. I thought I was going to bring back the rental car back to McGovern Honda but I needed the Rent-A-Car one more day because of my work schedule and they were not open on that Sunday oh, so I called somebody at Honda and they told me it was okay and they wouldn't charge me for the extra day on the rental car which was even better. The only thing I would advise McGovern Honda Service employees to do is to communicate among each other a little bit better as far as leaving notes.

They do the job the contract to do cleanly and quickly. Have a good package of rental cars (you pay but get bulk rate) shuttle is with Lyft which they pay. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. I have used this Honda dealership for fifteen years and they have kept my 2005 Honda Pilot in great shape.

I dropped off my car for a scheduled 60k miles services, Matt was very helpful and efficient, he collected all the related info and sent me off within 10 minutes. Later on, I got a text from the mechanic letting me know there are other issues with my car and need immediate attention. I called back Ricky, and he explained to me in great details about the additional issues, and he told me that I can come back to the shop and Matt would arrange a rental car for me as the job would take more than a day. When I went back, Matt has already begun arranging a car for me. It didn't take long for me to pick up and get a car from the rental agency. The next day when I come back to pickup my car, Matt had all the paperwork ready. I am in and out in about 15 minutes. Get your car detailed here! Amazing price and service ....you cant beat their price ...they did a full interior and exterior as well as replaced my worn carpets for $150 ...that included a full buff and 3 coats of wax...int $75 and exterior was $75 including shampoo of carpets and seats ! You didn't see my car before but it is almost unrecognizable after their work ! Very very happy! Scrub a dub would have been over $300 for shampoo of seas, carpets, interior and paint recondition like they did for $150 ...never mind the complimentary floor mats. They do all makes and models, not just Honda ...bring it there you will not be disappointed ! I know this sounds like an ad , i couldn't be happier! .....i am thrilled and a real customer ! : )

Brought my car in for a recall, was first told they'd have a rental for me. Called a second time and they gave me a vague answer that sounded like: I'd have to ask and they'd give me a car. The day comes, the recall that I was told would take a half hour will take all day. They didn't have a car for me to borrow, I was offered the chance to rent one from enterprise (if a car was available one). Further more they couldn't do the detailing for the car that I requested, because of the time constraints of the recall. They also didn't know if they had the parts to do the recall once I got there. They had my car all day and I walked home (an hour one way) in disgust. I hope Chipotle starts sponsoring the lunches at this dealership, they are so full of it they could use a norovirus laxative. TL;DR I was misled, lied to and hope they defecate violently for days as retribution for the poor customer service. I am back,.why?! Because I hit a pot hole and I can say my service was almost better. Here's the scene. I hit a pothole - because Massachusetts - and it's bad. I then proceed to call every any one else. No one has time or the tire I need. I call. I get the service desk. They say maybe to coming, as long as I'm there before 1:15 pm. Just to be sure they have me check with the parts department. Parts guy helps me make sure they have my tire. They do. The parts guy transfers me back. The phone rings for 12 minutes. I give up and call back. I get service explain what happened, but this time there's a different person. Notice I'm using they. It's because no one says there name. I think it's because when they screw up it won't easily get back to them. So back to service. It's a different person and I different story. In all honesty it sounds like the same person. The only difference it that I now cannot be seen. She doesn't think they even have the tire. And after trying to explain three times the situation and asking for her to double check with her colleague, I request to speak with a manager. They don't have one. I am transferred to someone else who has trouble telling me if I can be serviced or not. I ask a few times to just tell me if they can service my vehicle or not. Finally I get a yes. Stay tuned. The tired hasn't been mounted yet and maybe they'll make the experience even more enhanced. They actually fixed the problem. I am speechless. And somewhat relieved. See Steve he raised my review from one star to two and seem to actually get stuff done for me. Thanks Steve! Spoke to another Steve. He called me. My tire pressure light kept coming on and he swapped the tired adjusted the pressure and sent my on my way. Lesson of the day see a Steve and get a sandwich at the place across the street. Steve will take care of things and if you do have a big repair or bad news the sandwich is good comfort food. Another quick update. This place is all about second chances. You give them 2 tries and they'll get it right eventually. The manager swapped the tired, but didn't tell anyone. So I got called to pick up the car a little early. I went back to the waiting room and watched Netflix. After some cajoling from Mr damage control aka Steve and deliberation with my family the dealership has been raised to 3 stars, sorry Steve couldn't give you the 5, yet.

Went in for bad suspension, I was able to book an appointment online for a Saturday was quickly taken care of. The parts I needed weren’t in stock but arrived relatively quickly. When I went back for the repair it took around 2 hours. The prices for labor and parts are very competitive. Would recommend you take your Honda here if you need quick and reasonably priced service. Update: After I wrote my initial review, the general manager of the dealership reached out wanting to remedy the situation. We had a productive discussion and ended things on a positive note! Adding another star each for Brad and Rocky for their assistance in the recent weeks. Don't come here unless you want the worst customer sales experience. The two sales people I interacted with never kept me updated on the status of my vehicle in transit or paperwork like they promised to. I had to contact them multiple times only to get vague answers that did not satisfy my questions. Forget anything urgent, they never answered or returned my calls in a timely fashion. I felt like they did not take me or my problems seriously. All they wanted to do was make a sale and didn't make any effort after I signed the dotted line. The 1 star goes to the service center who actually did a good job with assisting me. Otherwise, don't waste your time here!

I like this Honda dealer, I bought my CRV here in 2013. Today when I went for a state inspection my 3rd brake light was out. It is required for inspection. The light is an LED and is expensive at $60. They charged me $170 in labor to install it. If I knew it was out I could have fixed it myself for less than $60. I am not pleased it was so expensive

Let me tell you about my experience with this dealership. First off I chose this particular location based on friends recommendations of friendly staff, clean environment, great service and being that I was looking to lease my first car, I liked all those positives so thought to give it a go! When my sister and I first arrived, we walked around, looked in the show room cars, probably for about 10 minutes without one person approaching us. I started to feel like maybe this wasn't the place AND THEN.. Kim! Kim approached us and we were so glad he did! He was immediately apologetic and sat with us to answer any and all questions. Came in for simple oil change. Good: Took me early as I showed up 10 minutes before my appointment time. They took a competitors coupon and I saved $15. Bad: They promised me car in 1 hour, yet took 1.5 hours to provide update. They “suggested” multiple other services that were bogus to try and obtain more money. E.G. change break fluid (I just got my brakes done 6 months ago all the way around and new fluid. Also McGovern noted my breaks were fine, just not fluid); change differential & transmission fluids (I have ~72K miles, these big fluids don’t need to be changed until 90K+ as I only drive streets and the car is low mileage); change wipers and fluid $105 (fluid used to be free to top off all when any service is done. I also can change my wipers myself for less than half their cost). All in all I’d go back. HOWEVER, watch out for these hidden “suggested” services. They are looking to take advantage of people that assume the dealerships are trustworthy and if a maintenance is suggested that it must be needed.

I had a set appointment time for an oil change and tire rotation, normal maintenance. No other maintenance required. it took 2 hours and $109. Really. I bring my car here because this is were I lease it from and I live in a mile away. And then I find out all the records of prior service are gone due to a computer change. Luckily I keep copies so I can prove I’ve maintained the car properly. I realize each dealership is individually owned and change does happen. I do wish I had been notified that all prior maintenance was no longer recorded. So does that mean I lost my points that I could if used for future service???

They also added a multi-point vehicle inspection plus an exterior carwash. Recalls are not the type of thing that dealership service nor car owners enjoy dealing with, but they were very professional about it, and no fuss, no charge. I never write reviews but these guys are the best! So I bought a 2014 certified preowned CRV back in 2015 with John Fitzpatrick. It was a real smooth experience and John was great! I don’t know much about cars in general and he was very helpful answering my questions and getting all the paperwork done in a timely manner. It’s now 2020 and John still checks in to see how everything is going with the car. This week I had a problem with my car and I brought it to a shop near me. Turns out I needed a new drive shaft and it was going to cost me $3000 out of pocket! I called John right away and he set me up with Ryan Foley, who was going to see if I was covered under Honda warranty. In less than 30 min I was at the store and in 20 minutes they both managed to squeeze me in and get my car fixed. Ryan was nice enough to offer me a vehicle while mine was getting serviced. 2 hours later he called me to say the vehicle was done and it was covered! Happiest day ever! I really can’t stress enough how professional and helpful they were. Ryan and John are the best!It was really an overall stressful (for me) experience and they managed to help me out in a timely manner with no added stress. I highly recommend using their services if you have any issues with your Honda or if you just want to buy a new car!

1/10/22. Archie greeted me once the doors were open and he was polite and also listened to my concerns. I’ve been to another dealership north of this location and have sought the advice of several other mechanics but as a woman no one wanted to hear what I had to say about the vehicle that I’ve been driving for years.( That’s the impression I got) I may not be technically knowledgeable with automotives but I do have common sense to know when something is not right. When I walked in at 7:30am this morning, Ryan greeted me, he listened to my concerns, frustration and did not rush me which meant a lot coming off a 12hr night shift as a nurse during this pandemic. Ryan took the time out to test an issue on the vehicle before the technicians got it to reassure me that my research was not done in vain prior to coming in. Long story short my car kept dying EVERY morning and I’ve insisted to others that the battery is faulty even though I bought it a year ago from Honda. Luckily the battery failed the test today and I got a replacement. To other customers: Every industry is short staffed so please Be kind to the people who work here. The Service Advisor, Ryan Foley, came right over and explained to me what the error light message meant and told me that the technician would check it out. Ryan kept me informed as to what was going on while I was waiting and was very apologetic that the service was taking awhile; I had no appointment and was just very grateful that he was able to fit me in. When I got home I had a couple of questions so I called Ryan; once again he was very helpful and made it a point to make sure that I had no further concerns and if I did to just call back. So today I Spent $2500 2/2/22 On various Parts and labor. Once the car was finished, I got only a text saying your car is ready for a pick up.. It would have been pretty informative and professional for the supervisor/MGR that I was in contact with all day called me to run down the list of parts and Things that were fixed on my car.2500$ worth But once they got my money 💰. I was no longer a concern to Honda. Also the pervious time i brought my car in for work was awful. It took almost 2 months for Honda to order n receive my Torsion rods for my trunk. while waiting for those trunk parts, I called 2x to check on status, and was told to make an appointment and come in. This mistake happened twice. Wrong parts were ordered and more waiting. Because of the delay issues w parts and mis-information i was given twice. Mgr Taylor at Honda Everett, promised me free oil changes etc " we'll send you an oil change or 2 via email. She said because of the inconvenience. I never heard from her again after the trunk parts finally came in about 2months later and were installed. So she failed to keep her word. Still wondering and those free oil changes coupons for my inconvince. Lastly, Every time you bring your car to Honda to get work done. they 'supposed ' to check all the fluids and top them off. I noticed when I left that i had no washer fluid, and low anti freeze almost empty. ???? What's going on over there in Everett.?? Id like a response and possibly what I was promised from mgr Taylor. To say the least I'm Disappointed in Honda Everett taking care of me, these last couple visits. 3 stars only because the mechanics did a great job. Greg Altavilla

Outstanding experience at this dealership from start to finish!! Go to it if you want to buy or lease a Honda and get the assistance of the Sales Manager, Alex Avanesau. Alex is honest, fair, and very helpful! My daughter had just graduated college and was leasing her first car. Unfortunately, I was in Ohio, so to assist her all communications had to be done by email and telephone. From the start, Alex gave us a very fair price, and then honored that price when the transaction took longer than expected. He responded promptly to all email and telephone communications. He met with my daughter both when she came in to do a test drive and then when she returned to finalize her paperwork. I start with the negative. You did the tire rotation. Why after driving hundred yards I get low pressure alert? I stopped check the pressure and see that it's 30 p p s on all four tires, not 33. I just leased a new 2021 Honda Pilot Special Edition and the whole process was basically automatic. You give them the necessary information and they handle the rest. From registration to insurance is done all for you by the amazing staff. Alex the sales manager, Ben the sales manager, and Brad the General Manager are Awesome! Excellent Experience! This was my first time shopping for a new car to lease. I reached out to their Internet Manager, Samantha, for a quote. Ask anybody, the car buying experience can be stressful. Sometimes you go into a dealership prepared to battle prices, negotiate for the best deals. Sometimes you spend half a day in the dealership, walking out frustrated. That's how I felt Before I walked into Honda Cars of Boston. I just wanted to take the time to write this amazing review on these guys. I usually do not write reviews on people but the customer service here was exceptional. This process of getting a car was such a roller coaster. I had about an hour conversation with Ricardo, sales consultant, and he worked with his manager Oscar to get me approved for a loan. At first I got denied but Oscar did not give up on me and advocated for me so that the bank would reconsider and approve the loan. Eventually the bank did and I want to thank these guys for doing such an amazing work. After going through all the paperwork and getting approved I had no way of getting to the dealership to get my car. The dealership arranged to pick me up from work 30 minutes away to finish up paperwork. My phone had died and I was worried about my work and family not being able to get in touch with me and Darly was kind enough to let me use his charger. Since I was out of work for too long these gentlemen had made sure I could get my car that day and drove me back to work. Later that night I had the car delivered personally by Oscar and Ricardo to my house which they did not have to do. Even with all the hardship through this process they made me feel comfortable and helped me get the car I wanted. Edit: 3/1/2022 Have had my car about a year now and loving it. Had a slight issue towards the end of 2021 with the engine and McGovern Honda was quick to get me in. They diagnosed and fixed the problem in record speed. Had my car back fully functioning within about 12 hours. Every interaction I have here is great and will be recommending anyone i know to come to McGovern Honda. edit 3/31: So my registration was dropped off the RMV on Friday but they are slow to process. In order to get me in my car Rich Jr and the folks at the dealership put a dealer plate on my car in the meantime so I can use it. Outside of it being fully registered this is the best course of action for the time being. I purchased a Honda certified pre-owned car on Wednesday 3/24. Overall the actual process of viewing and purchasing the car was straight forward. Rich Jr helped me during this process and was very helpful in explaining the warranties, charges, etc. related to the purchase. Rich Sr found me great financing options which were actually lower than what my original price point was going in. What I liked about this whole process is that they didn't try to push me on any up-sells or unnecessary add-ons. However, I have had to drop the review to 2 stars because of the registration process. I was originally told that typical turn around time is 24 hours between purchasing the car and being able to pick it up. This then turned into 48 hours. I was still fine with this since I get it, it's busy and Covid is still ongoing. However, I am now informed that due to a positive Covid case they are not processing ANY registrations until at least next week. I find it incredibly frustrating that a year into the pandemic there were no plans in place to handle scenarios such as this. There is no reason that these things should be ground to a halt completely. I am hopeful that good news will come but I am saddened that my initial great experience has been diminished so much by the final stretch before I get my car and will most likely greatly impact my ability to recommend this dealership to others in the future.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Honda Cars of Boston! I had a very specific car in mind when I arrived at the dealership, and Ataan was excellent about getting the process started quickly instead of trying to up-sell me to something more expensive, which I experienced at other dealerships when looking for a car. Ataan, the sales consultant, was so friendly throughout the experience, from my initial call to see if the car I wanted was in inventory to my time at the dealership filling out the paperwork. He was direct and honest when recommending accessories and protection options. In addition to excellent service, we shared many laughs! He kept things light and made me feel comfortable asking questions. After I had put down the down payment on the car, we went over my preferences for how the car would be set up, they even let me pick radio stations that would be preset to favorites when I picked up the car! Maybe this is something they do at all Honda dealerships, but it was really nice and cool to know that a lot of the setup will be done when I pick up the car. After working with Ataan for the sale, I worked with Joseph (Joe) for the financing portion of the transaction. Joe was also fantastic! He was very friendly and did an excellent job reviewing the transaction and making sure I was comfortable with the monthly payments. I wanted to purchase a warranty for the car given my anticipated yearly mileage, and I found the pricing at Honda Cars of Boston to be excellent. Honda Cars of Boston was the first dealership where they asked me 'how much do you want to pay' and then worked with me from there to get to a figure everyone was comfortable with. Joe also did an excellent job reviewing my credit report and provided my partner and I with some excellent information about building credit, as we are both young. Being young, I often feel talked down to when it comes to financial matters, but Joe was informative, straight forward, and very kind. In short, I will be recommending Honda Cars of Boston, and specifically Ataan and Joe, to anyone in the area looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle.
